السالمة‬ ‫استخدم األواني املناسبة لالستخدام في أفران امليكروويف فقط‪.‬‬ ‫عند تسخني األطعمة في أواني بالستيكية أو ورقية‪ ،‬احرص على‬ ‫مراقبة الفرن للتمكن من اتخاذ اإلجراءات الالزمة جتن ًبا الشتعالها‪.‬‬ ‫ال يُسمح باستخدام األواني املعدنية للطعام واملشروبات أثناء‬ ‫الطهي في امليكروويف‪.‬‬ ‫فرن امليكروويف مخصص لتسخني األغذية واملشروبات‪ .‬وقد‬ ‫يؤدي جتفيف األغذية أو األقمشة وتسخني ألواح التدفئة أو نعال‬ ‫البابوج أو قطع اإلسفنج أو األقمشة الرطبة أو املواد املشابهة‬ ‫لذلك إلى مخاطر اإلصابة أو االشتعال أو احلرائق‪.‬‬ ‫في حالة تصاعد (انبعاث) دخان‪ ،‬قم بإيقاف تشغيل اجلهاز أو‬ ‫فصله عن التيار الكهربي واجعل باب الفرن مغلقً ا إلخماد أي‬ ‫اشتعال‪.‬‬ ‫قد ينتج عن تسخني املشروبات باستخدام فرن امليكروويف حدوث‬ ‫فوران شديد عند غليانها؛ لذا يجب توخي احلذر عند اإلمساك‬ ‫باحلاوية‪.‬‬ ‫يجب رج محتويات زجاجات الرضاعة وبرطمانات طعام األطفال‬ ‫أو تقليبها والتحقق من درجة حرارتها قبل استخدامها لتجنب‬ ‫حدوث أي حروق‪.‬‬ ‫يحظر سلق البيض ويحظر كذلك تسخني البيض املسلوق جي ًدا‬ ‫دون تقشيره ألنه قد ينفجر حتى بعد انتهاء عملية التسخني‬ ‫بامليكروويف‪.‬‬ ‫يجب تنظيف الفرن بشكل منتظم وإزالة أي بقايا للطعام‪.‬‬ ‫ُيكن أن يؤدي اإلهمال في تنظيف الفرن إلى تدهور حالة سطحه‬ ‫مما قد يؤثر بشكل سلبي على اجلهاز وقد ينتج عن ذلك خطورة‬ ‫عند االستخدام‪.‬‬ ‫ينبغي استخدام فرن امليكروويف أعلى املنضدة فقط (في وضع‬ ‫حر)‪ ،‬ويجب عدم وضعه في خزانة‪.‬‬ ‫يجب عدم تنظيف اجلهاز باستخدام آلة نفاثة للمياه‪.‬‬ ‫هذا اجلهاز غير ‫مرة‪.‬‬ ‫إذا أصدر الفرن ضجة غريبة أو رائحة حريق أو دخان‪ ،‬افصل مأخذ‬ ‫الكهرباء على الفور واتصل بأقرب مركز خدمة‪.‬‬ ‫يجب وضع امليكروويف بحيث يكون قري ًبا من مأخذ التيار الكهربي‬ ‫بحيث يسهل توصيله‪.‬‬ ‫السالمة العامة‬ ‫ينبغي إجراء أي تعديالت أو إصالحات من ِقبل شخص متخصص فقط‪.‬‬ ‫ال تسخن الطعام أو السوائل في أواني مغلقة للحفاظ على وظيفة امليكروويف‪.‬‬ ‫ال تستخدم البنزين أو التِنر أو الكحول أو منظفات البخار أو املنظفات ذات الضغط العالي لتنظيف الفرن‪.‬‬ ‫ال تركّب الفرن‪ :‬بالقرب من سخان أو مادة قابلة لالشتعال أو في األماكن الرطبة أو امللوثة بالزيت أو مليئة‬ ‫باألتربة أو معرضة ألشعة الشمس املباشرة أو املاء أو في مكان قد يتسرب به الغاز أو على سطح غير‬ ‫مستو‪.‬‬ ‫يجب تثبيت هذا الفرن على األرض بشكل سليم وفقً ا للوائح الوطنية واحمللية‪.‬‬ ‫استخدم بانتظام قطعة قماش جافة إلزالة أي مواد غريبة من أطراف مقبس التيار الكهربي ونقاط‬ ‫االتصال‪.‬‬ ‫ال تقم بسحب سلك التيار الكهربي أو ثنيه بشكل مفرط أو وضع أشياء ثقيلة عليه‪.‬‬ ‫في حالة وجود تسرب للغاز (غاز البروبان أو الغاز النفطي املسال أو غيره من الغازات)‪ ،‬قم بالتهوية فورًا‪ .‬ال‬ ‫تلمس سلك التيار الكهربي‪.‬‬ ‫ال تلمس سلك التيار الكهربي بأي ٍد مبتلة‪.‬‬ ‫أثناء تشغيل الفرن‪ ،‬ال تقم بإيقاف تشغيله من خالل فصل سلك التيار الكهربي‪.‬‬ ‫ال تقم بإدخال أصابعك أو أي مواد غريبة‪ .‬في حالة إدخال أي مواد غريبة في الفرن‪ ،‬افصل سلك التيار‬ ‫الكهربي واتصل مبركز خدمة ‪ Samsung‬احمللي‪.‬‬ ‫جتنّب تعريض الفرن لضغط مفرط‪.‬‬ ‫ال تضع الفرن فوق أسطح قابلة للكسر‪.‬‬ ‫تأكد من تطابق مستوى فولطية الكهرباء والتردد والتيار الكهربي لديك مع مواصفات املنتج‪.‬‬ ‫قم بتوصيل مقبس التيار الكهربي مبأخذ احلائط بإحكام‪ .‬ال تستخدم محوالت كهرباء متعددة املقابس أو‬ ‫أسالكًا إضافية أو محوالت كهرباء‪.‬‬ ‫ال تعلق سلك الكهرباء على أسطح معدنية‪ .‬تأكد من وضع السلك بني األسطح أو خلف الفرن‪.‬‬ ‫ال تستخدم مقبس تيار كهربي أو سلك تيار كهربي تالف أو مأخذ حائط مفكوك‪ .‬بالنسبة ملقابس أو‬ ‫أسالك التيار الكهربي التالفة‪ ،‬اتصل مبركز خدمة ‪ Samsung‬احمللي‪.‬‬ ‫تصب ما ًء أو ترشه مباشرة داخل الفرن‪.‬‬ ‫ال ُ‬ ‫ال تضع أي أشياء على الفرن أو داخله أو على باب الفرن‪.‬‬ ‫ال ترش مواد متطايرة‪ ،‬مثل املبيدات احلشرية على الفرن‪.‬‬ ‫ال تخزّن أي مواد قابلة لالشتعال داخل الفرن‪ .‬استخدم التنبيه عند تسخني طعام أو شراب يحتوي على‬ ‫الكحول نظرًا إلمكانية تالمس أبخرة الكحول لألجزاء الساخنة ‫قد ينتج عن تسخني املشروبات في امليكروويف حدوث فوران شديد عند غليانها؛ لذا يجب توخي احلذر ً‬ ‫دوما ملدة ال تقل عن ‪ 20‬ثانية قبل اإلمساك بها‪ .‬قم بتقليبها أثناء‬ ‫عند اإلمساك باألواني‪ .‬اترك املشروبات ً‬ ‫دوما بعد التسخني‪.‬‬ ‫التسخني إذا لزم األمر‪ .‬وقم بتقليبها ً‬ ‫في حالة تعرضك لإلصابة باحلروق‪ ،‬اتبع إرشادات "اإلسعافات األولية" التالية‪:‬‬ ‫‪1.1‬اغمر اجلزء الذي تعرض للحرق باملاء البارد ملدة ‪ 10‬دقائق على األقل‪.‬‬ ‫‪2.2‬قم بتغطية مكان احلرق بقطعة جافة ونظيفة من الشاش الطبي‪.‬‬ ‫‪3.3‬ال تضع دهان كرمي أو زي ًتا أو غسوال ً على احلرق‪.‬‬ ‫ال تضع الصينية أو الرف في املاء لفترة قصيرة بعد الطهي وذلك لتجنب تلف الصينية أو الرف‪.‬‬ ‫ال تستخدم الفرن لقلي األطعمة التي حتتوي على دهون عالية‪ ،‬وذلك بسبب عدم القدرة على التحكم في‬ ‫درجة حرارة الزيت‪ .‬قد يؤدي ذلك إلى فوران الزيت الساخن‪.‬‬ ‫إرشادات السالمة‬ ‫حتذير يتعلق بامليكروويف‬ ‫احتياطات تتعلق بفرن امليكروويف‬ ‫استخدم األواني اآلمنة فقط في الفرن‪ .‬ال تستخدم األواني املعدنية أو أدوات املائدة ذات الزخارف الذهبية أو‬ ‫الفضية أو املاسكات املعدنية أو ما إلى ذلك‪.‬‬ ‫قم بإزالة األربطة السلكية‪ .‬قد يحدث ماس كهربائي‪.‬‬ ‫ال تستخدم الفرن لتجفيف األوراق أو املالبس‪.‬‬ ‫حدد مدد تسخني قصيرة ملقادير الطعام القليلة وذلك لتجنب التسخني الزائد أو تعرّض الطعام لالحتراق‪.‬‬ ‫ضع سلك التيار الكهربي أو مقبس التيار الكهربي بعي ًدا عن املاء أو مصادر احلرارة‪.‬‬ ‫ال تسلق البيض أو تسخن البيض املسلوق جي ًدا وذلك لتجنب التعرض خلطر لالنفجار‪ .‬ال تسخن الزجاجات‬ ‫والبرطمانات واألواني التي مت تفريغها من الهواء واملغلقة بإحكام والبندق غير املقشر والطماطم وإلخ‪.‬‬ ‫ال تقم بتغطية فتحات التهوية سواء بقطع من القماش أو الورق؛ قد يؤدي ذلك إلى نشوب حريق‪ .‬قد ترتفع‬ ‫كاف‪.‬‬ ‫درجة حرارة الفرن بشكل زائد وتتوقف عن العمل‬ ‫تلقائيا حتى تبرد بشكل ٍ‬ ‫ً‬ ‫دوما قفازات عند إخراج طبق من الفرن‪.‬‬ ‫استخدم ً‬ ‫جزئي أثناء عملية التسخني أو بعد انتهائها‪ ،‬مع ترك السوائل دون تقليب ملدة ‪20‬‬ ‫بشكل‬ ‫حرّك السوائل‬ ‫ٍ‬ ‫ٍ‬ ‫ثانية بعد التسخني مباشرة لتجنّب الغليان املفاجئ‪.‬‬ ‫قف بعي ًدا عن الفرن مبقدار طول ذراعك عند فتح باب الفرن لتجنّب التعرّض حلروق من جرّاء الهواء الساخن‬ ‫املندفع منها‪.‬‬ ‫تلقائيا ملدة ‪ 30‬دقيقة‬ ‫ال تقم بتشغيل الفرن عندما يكون فارغًا‪ ،‬حيث سيتم إيقاف تشغيل الفرن‬ ‫ً‬ ‫ثم‪ ،‬فإننا نوصي بوضع كوب من املاء داخل الفرن بشكل دائم المتصاص طاقة‬ ‫للحفاظ على سالمتك‪ .‬ومن َّ‬ ‫امليكروويف في حالة تشغيل الفرن بشكل غير مقصود‪.‬‬ ‫ركّب الفرن وفقً ا للمسافات املذكورة في هذا الدليل‪( .‬راجع "تركيب فرن امليكروويف"‪).‬‬ ‫الضمان احملدود‬ ‫قد يؤدي عدم االلتزام باحتياطات السالمة التالية إلى التعرض ألشعة امليكروويف الضارة‪.‬‬ ‫•ال تقم بتشغيل الفرن أثناء فتح الباب‪ .‬ال تعبث بقفلي األمان (قفلي الباب)‪ .‬ال تضع أي شيء في‬ ‫فتحتي قفل األمان‪.‬‬ ‫•ال تضع أي شيء بني باب الفرن والسطح اخلارجي أو ال تسمح بتراكم فضالت الطعام أو املنظف على‬ ‫أسطح إحكام اإلغالق‪ .‬تأكد من نظافة الباب وأسطح إحكام اإلغالق من خالل مسحها بعد كل‬ ‫استعمال باستخدام قطعة قماش مبلَّلة‪ ،‬ثم قطعة قماش جافة ناعمة‪.‬‬ ‫•ال تقم بتشغيل امليكروويف في حالة وجود تلف به‪ .‬ال تقم بتشغيله إال بعد إصالحه من ِقبل فني‬ ‫مختص‪.‬‬ ‫هام‪ :‬يجب إغالق باب الفرن بشكل صحيح‪ .‬ال يجب أن يكون الباب مائال ً وال يجب أن تكون مفصالت‬ ‫الباب مكسورة أو غير مربوطة بإحكام وال يجب أن يكون قفال الباب وأسطح إحكام اإلغالق في حالة‬ ‫تلف‪.‬‬ ‫•يجب إجراء جميع التعديالت أو هذا الفرن للغرض اخملصص له فقط كما هو مذكور في دليل اإلرشادات هذا‪ .‬ال تغطي التحذيرات‬ ‫وإرشادات السالمة املهمة الواردة في هذا الدليل جميع الظروف واملواقف احملتمل حدوثها‪ .‬لذا‪ ،‬تقع على‬ ‫عاتقك ‫وزن الفرن‪.‬‬ ‫•عند تركيب الفرن‪ ،‬تأكد من تهويته بشكل جيد عن طريق‬ ‫ترك مسافة ‪ 10‬سم على األقل من اجلهة اخللفية واجلانبني‬ ‫ومسافة ‪ 20‬سم من اجلهة العلوية‪.‬‬ ‫‪ 10‬سم من‬ ‫اجلانب‬ ‫•يُحظر تركيب Précautions à prendre pour le four à micro-ondes Utilisez uniquement des ustensiles adaptés à la cuisson aux micro-ondes. N'utilisez pas de récipients métalliques, de vaisselle comportant des ornements dorés ou argentés, de brochettes, etc. Retirez les attaches métalliques. Un arc électrique peut se former. N'utilisez pas le four pour sécher des papiers ou des vêtements. Utilisez des temps de cuisson ou de chauffe réduits pour les petites quantités d'aliments afin de leur éviter de surchauffer et de brûler. Tenez le cordon et la fiche d'alimentation à distance de sources d'eau et de chaleur. Pour éviter le risque d'explosion, ne faites pas chauffer d'œufs avec leur coquille ou des œufs durs. Ne faites pas chauffer de récipients fermés hermétiquement ou sous vide, des noisettes, des tomates, etc. Ne couvrez jamais les orifices de ventilation du four avec un torchon ou du papier. Il existe un risque d'incendie. Le four peut surchauffer et s'éteindre automatiquement et rester arrêté jusqu'à ce qu'il soit suffisamment refroidi. Utilisez toujours des maniques lorsque vous sortez un plat du four. Remuez les liquides à la moitié du temps de chauffe et laissez reposer au moins 20 secondes une fois le temps écoulé pour éviter les projections brûlantes. Lorsque vous ouvrez la porte du four, maintenez une certaine distance entre vous et l'appareil pour éviter d'être brûlé par l'air chaud ou la vapeur sortant du four. La surface doit supporter le poids du four. • Ménagez de la place pour la ventilation : il doit se trouver à au moins 10 cm de la paroi arrière et des 10 cm sur 85 cm les côtés deux côtés et à 20 cm du haut. au-dessus du sol • N'installez pas le four dans un environnement chaud ou humide (ex. : à côté d'un autre four à micro-ondes ou d'un radiateur). • Respectez les spécifications électriques de ce four. Utilisez uniquement les câbles d'extension agréés si vous devez en utiliser. • Avant d'utiliser votre four pour la première fois, nettoyez l'intérieur de celui-ci ainsi que le joint d'étanchéité de la porte à l'aide d'un chiffon humide. Nettoyez le four régulièrement pour éviter que des impuretés se forment sur ou à l'intérieur du four. Prêtez également une attention particulière à la porte, aux joints de la porte, au plateau tournant et à l'anneau de guidage (sur les modèles concernés uniquement). Si la porte ne s'ouvre pas ou ne se ferme pas correctement, vérifiez d'abord s'il n'y a pas d'impuretés qui se sont formées sur les joints de la porte. Utilisez un chiffon doux avec de l'eau savonneuse pour nettoyer les surfaces intérieures et extérieures du four. Rincez et séchez minutieusement. PLATEAU TOURNANT Retirez tous les éléments d'emballage situés à l'intérieur du four. Installez l'anneau de guidage et le plateau. Vérifiez que le plateau tourne librement. Pour retirer les impuretés incrustées produisant de mauvaises odeurs à l'intérieur du four 1. Lorsque le four est vide, mettez une tasse de jus de citron dilué sur le centre du plateau tournant. 2. Faites chauffer le four pendant 10 minutes à puissance maximale. 3. Une fois le cycle terminé, attendez que le four refroidisse. Ensuite, ouvrez la porte et nettoyez le compartiment de cuisson. Pour nettoyer l'intérieur des modèles à élément chauffant oscillant Pour nettoyer la zone supérieure du compartiment de cuisson, abaissez l'élément chauffant supérieur de 45° (A), comme indiqué. Cela permettra de nettoyer la zone supérieure. Une fois cela fait, repositionnez l'élément chauffant supérieur. Veillez à ce que la porte et les joints de la porte soient toujours propres et assurez-vous que la porte s'ouvre et se ferme correctement. Si ce n'est pas le cas, le cycle de vie du four peut en être réduit. Faites attention à ne pas renverser d'eau à l'intérieur des orifices de ventilation du four. Lors de la mise sous tension, « :0 », « 88:88 » ou « 12:00 » s'affiche automatiquement. Réglez l'heure actuelle. Vous pouvez afficher l'heure au format 24 ou 12 heures. Vous devez régler l'horloge : • à l'installation initiale ; • après une coupure de courant. Suivez les instructions ci-dessous lorsque vous souhaitez faire cuire ou réchauffer des aliments. Vérifiez TOUJOURS les réglages de cuisson avant de laisser le four sans surveillance. Placez le plat au centre du plateau tournant, puis refermez la porte. N'oubliez pas de changer l'heure lors du passage à l'heure d'hiver ou à l'heure d'été. 1. Appuyez sur le bouton Micro-ondes. Si vous sélectionnez une puissance élevée, le temps de cuisson devra être réduit. En revanche, si vous sélectionnez une puissance moins élevée, le temps de cuisson devra être augmenté. RÉGLAGE DU TEMPS DE CUISSON Vous pouvez augmenter le temps de cuisson en appuyant sur le bouton +30s autant de fois que vous souhaitez ajouter de tranches de 30 secondes. Vous pouvez également annuler les réglages avant de démarrer la cuisson en appuyant simplement sur le bouton Stop (Arrêt). RÉGLAGE DU MODE D'ÉCONOMIE D'ÉNERGIE 1. Appuyez sur le bouton +30s autant de fois que vous souhaitez ajouter de tranches de 30 secondes. Le four possède un mode d'économie d'énergie. Celui-ci permet d'économiser l'électricité lorsque le four n'est pas utilisé. • Appuyez sur le bouton Économie d’énergie. • Pour désactiver le mode Économie d'énergie, ouvrez la porte ; l'écran affiche alors l'heure actuelle. Le four peut alors être utilisé. 2. Appuyez sur le bouton Start (Départ). Fonction d'économie d'énergie automatique Si vous ne sélectionnez aucune fonction lorsque l'appareil est en cours de réglage ou de fonctionnement en état d'arrêt temporaire, la fonction est annulée et l'horloge s'affiche après 25 minutes. Laissez reposer 4 minutes. 150 ml (1 tasse) 250 ml (1 grande tasse) Versez la boisson dans une tasse en céramique sans recouvrir. Placez la tasse (150 ml) ou le mug (250 ml) au centre du plateau. Remuez avec précaution avant et après le temps de repos. Laissez reposer 1 à 2 minutes. Utilisez uniquement de la vaisselle adaptée à la cuisson aux micro-ondes. Retirez tous les éléments d'emballage des aliments avant de commencer la décongélation. Placez la viande, la volaille, le poisson ou les fruits/baies sur une assiette en céramique. Code/ Aliment 1. Appuyez sur le bouton Décongélation rapide automatique. Résultat: l'indication suivante s'affiche : Appuyez une ou plusieurs fois sur le bouton Décongélation rapide automatique selon le type d'aliments que vous devez décongeler. Pour plus d'informations, reportez-vous au tableau ci-contre. 2. Sélectionnez le poids de l’aliment en appuyant sur le bouton 100g. Le poids maximal est de 1500 g. 3. Appuyez sur le bouton Start (Départ). Résultat: • La phase de décongélation commence. • Un signal sonore vous rappelant de retourner l'aliment retentit à la moitié du temps de décongélation. • Appuyez à nouveau sur le bouton Start (Départ) pour finir la décongélation. Vous pouvez aussi programmer la décongélation manuellement. Pour ce faire, sélectionnez la fonction Cuisson/Réchauffage au microondes avec une puissance de 180 W. Reportez-vous au chapitre « Cuisson/Réchauffage » en page 10 pour de plus amples détails. Quantité Consignes 1 Viande 200 à 1500 g Protégez les extrémités avec de l'aluminium. Retournez la viande au signal sonore. Ce programme convient à la décongélation du bœuf, de l'agneau, du porc, des côtelettes ou des émincés. Laissez reposer 20 à 90 minutes. 2 Volaille 200 à 1500 g Protégez les extrémités des cuisses et des ailes avec de l'aluminium. Retournez la volaille au signal sonore. Ce programme convient aussi bien à la décongélation d'un poulet entier qu'à celle de morceaux. Laissez reposer 20 à 90 minutes. 3 Poisson 200 à 1500 g Protégez la queue d'un poisson entier avec du papier d'aluminium. Retournez le poisson au signal sonore. Ce programme convient aussi bien à la cuisson des poissons entiers qu'à celle des filets. Laissez reposer 20 à 80 minutes. 4 Fruits/Baies 100 à 600 g Répartissez uniformément les fruits dans un récipient en verre à fond plat. Ce programme convient à la décongélation de toutes sortes de fruits. Laissez reposer 5 à 20 minutes. Utilisez uniquement de la vaisselle adaptée à la cuisson aux micro-ondes. Le temps de décongélation et la puissance se règlent automatiquement. Il vous suffit de sélectionner le programme et le poids correspondant aux aliments à décongeler. Placez le plat surgelé au centre du plateau, puis fermez la porte. CUISSON EN PLUSIEURS ÉTAPES Vous pouvez programmer votre four à micro-ondes pour qu’il cuise des aliments en trois étapes. Exemple: vous souhaitez décongeler et faire cuire un aliment sans avoir à régler de nouveau le four après chaque étape. Ainsi vous pouvez décongeler et cuire un poisson de 500 g en trois étapes : • Décongélation • cuisson I • cuisson II Vous pouvez définir de deux à trois étapes pour ce type de cuisson. Si vous définissez trois étapes, la première étape doit être la décongélation. N’appuyez pas sur le bouton Start (Départ) tant que vous n’avez pas défini la dernière étape. 1. Appuyez une ou plusieurs fois sur le bouton Décongélation rapide automatique. 2. Réglez le poids en appuyant sur le bouton 100g autant de fois que nécessaire (pour obtenir 500 g dans cet exemple). 3. Appuyez sur le bouton Micro-ondes. Mode (I) du four à micro-ondes : Si nécessaire, réglez le niveau de puissance en appuyant de nouveau sur le bouton Micro-ondes une fois ou plus. (600 W dans cet exemple). 5. Appuyez sur le bouton Micro-ondes. Mode (II) du four micro-ondes : Si nécessaire, réglez le niveau de puissance en appuyant de nouveau sur le bouton Micro-ondes une fois ou plus. (450 W dans cet exemple). 6. Réglez le temps de cuisson en appuyant sur les boutons 10 min (10 min.), 1 min (1 min.) et 10 s autant de fois que nécessaire (pour obtenir 5 minutes dans cet exemple). 7. Appuyez sur le bouton Start (Départ). Résultat: les trois modes [décongélation et cuisson (I,II)] sont activés successivement. En fonction du mode de décongélation que vous avez choisi, un signal sonore peut retentir à la moitié du temps de décongélation pour que vous n’oubliiez pas de retourner l’aliment. • Une fois la cuisson terminée, le signal sonore retentit quatre fois. 4. Réglez le temps de cuisson en appuyant sur les boutons 10 min (10 min.), 1 min (1 min.) et 10 s autant de fois que nécessaire (pour obtenir 4 minutes dans cet exemple). Always allow beverages to stand at least 20 seconds before handling. If necessary, stir during heating. Always stir after heating. In the event of scalding, follow these First Aid instructions: 1. Immerse the scalded area in cold water for at least 10 minutes. 2. Cover with a clean, dry dressing. 3. Do not apply any creams, oils, or lotions. To avoid damaging the tray or rack, do not put the tray or rack in water shortly after cooking. Do not use the oven for deep fat frying because the oil temperature cannot be controlled. This could result in a sudden boil over of hot oils. Only use microwave-safe utensils. Do not use metallic containers, gold or silver trimmed dinnerware, skewers, etc. Remove wire twist ties. Electric arcing may occur. Do not use the oven to dry papers or clothes. Use shorter times for small amounts of food to prevent overheating or burning. Keep the power cord and power plug away from water and heat sources. To avoid the risk of explosion, do not heat eggs with shells or hardboiled eggs. Do not heat airtight or vacuum-sealed containers, nuts, tomatoes, etc. Do not cover the ventilation slots with cloth or paper. This is a fire hazard. The oven may overheat and turn off automatically and will remain off until it cools sufficiently. Always use oven mitts when removing a dish. Stir liquids halfway during heating or after heating ends and allow the liquid stand at least 20 seconds after heating to prevent eruptive boiling. Stand at arms length from the oven when opening the door to avoid getting scalded by escaping hot air or steam. Do not operate the oven when it is empty. The oven will automatically shut down for 30 minutes for safety purposes. We recommend placing a glass of water inside the oven at all times to absorb microwave energy in case the oven is started accidentally. Use only approved extension cables if you need to use. • Wipe the interior and the door seal with a damp cloth before using your oven for the first time. Clean the oven regularly to prevent impurities from building up on or inside the oven. Also pay special attention to the door, door sealing, and turntable and roller ring (applicable models only). If the door won’t open or close smoothly, first check if the door seals have built up impurities. Use a soft cloth in soapy water to clean both the inner and outer sides of the oven. Rinse and dry well. TURNTABLE Remove all packing materials inside the oven.Install the roller ring and turntable. Check that the turntable rotates freely. To remove stubborn impurities with bad smells from inside the oven 1. With an empty oven, put a cup of diluted lemon juice on the centre of the turntable. 2. Heat the oven for 10 minutes at max power. 3. When the cycle is complete, wait until the oven cools down. Then, open the door and clean the cooking chamber. To clean inside swing-heater models To clean the upper area of the cooking chamber, lower the top heating element by 45° (A) as shown. This will help clean the upper area. When done, reposition the top heating element. Keep the door and door sealing clean and ensure the door opens and closes smoothly. Otherwise, the oven’s lifecycle may be shortened. Take caution not to spill water into the oven vents. Do not use any abrasive or chemical substances for cleaning. After each use of the oven, use a mild detergent to clean the cooking chamber after waiting for the oven to cool down. Roller ring, to be placed in the centre of the oven. Purpose: The roller ring supports the turntable. 1 oven use SETTING THE TIME COOKING/REHEATING Your microwave oven has an inbuilt clock. When power is supplied, “:0”, “88:88” or “12:00” is automatically displayed on the display. Please set the current time. The time can be displayed in either the 12-hour or 24-hour notation. You must set the clock: • When you first install your microwave oven • After a power failure The following procedure explains how to cook or reheat food. ALWAYS check your cooking settings before leaving the oven unattended. First, place the food in the centre of the turntable and close the door. Do not forget to reset the clock when you switch to and from summer and winter time. 1. Press the Microwave button. Result: The 800 W (maximum cooking power) indications are displayed: Select the appropriate power level by pressing the Microwave button again until the corresponding wattage is displayed. Refer to the power level table on the next page. 1. To display the time in the... 24-hour notation. 12-hour notation. Press the Clock button once or twice. 2. Set the hour with the h button and the minutes with the min button. 2. Set the cooking time by pressing the 10 min, 1 min and 10 s button. 3. When the right time is displayed, press the Clock button again to start the clock. Result: The time is displayed whenever you are not using the microwave oven. 3. Press the Start button. Result: The oven light comes on and the turntable starts rotating. Cooking starts and when it has finished the oven beeps four times. Never switch the microwave oven on when it is empty. You can stop cooking at any time to check the food. Power level HIGH 800 W MEDIUM HIGH 600 W MEDIUM 450 W MEDIUM LOW 300 W DEFROST 180 W LOW 100 W 2. To stop completely; Press the Stop button. Result: The cooking stops. If you wish to cancel the cooking settings, press the Stop button again. If you select higher power level, the cooking time must be decreased. You can cancel any setting before starting cooking by simply pressing the Stop button. If you select lower power level, the cooking time must be increased. SETTING THE ENERGY SAVE MODE ADJUSTING THE COOKING TIME You can increase the cooking time by pressing the +30s button once for each 30 seconds to be added. The oven has an Energy save mode. This facility saves electricity when the oven is not in use. • Press the Energy save button. • To remove Energy save mode, open the door and then display shows current time. The oven is ready for use. 1. Press the +30s button once for each 30 seconds to be added. 2. Press the Start button. Auto energy saving function If you do not select any function when appliance is in the middle of setting or operating with temporary stop condition, function is canceled and clock will be displayed after 25 minutes. Result: Cooking stops. To resume cooking, close the door and press the Start button again. Output USING THE INSTANT REHEAT/COOK FEATURES With the Instant Reheat/Cook feature, the cooking time is set automatically. You can adjust the number of servings by pressing the appropriate Instant Reheat/Cook button the required number of times. First, place the food in the centre of the turntable and close the door. Press the Instant Reheat/Cook button which you want the required number of times. Result: Press the Start button to start cooking. When it has finished: 1) The oven beeps four times. 2) The end reminder signal will beep 3 times. (once every minute) 3) The current time is displayed again. Example: Press the Drinks button once times to reheat one cups of coffee. Refer to the table on the opposite page. The following table presents the various Instant Reheat/Cook programmes, quantities and appropriate instructions. Code/Food Serving Size Instructions Ready Meals 300-350 g 400-450 g Put on a ceramic plate and cover it with microwave cling film. This programme is suitable for meals consisting of 3 components (e.g. meat with sauce, vegetables and side dish like potatoes, rice or pasta). Stand for 3 minutes. Frozen Ready Meals 300-350 g 400-450 g Take frozen ready meal and check if dish is suitable for microwave. Pierce film of ready meal. Put the frozen ready meal in the centre. This programme is suitable for frozen ready meals consisting of 3 components (e.g. meat with sauce, vegetables and a side dish like potatoes, rice or pasta). Stand for 4 minutes. Drinks (Coffee, Milk, Tea, Water with Room Temperature) 150 ml (1 cup) 250 ml (1 mug) Pour into a ceramic cup and reheat uncovered. Place cup (150 ml) or mug (250 ml) in the centre of turntable. Stir carefully before and after standing time. Stand for 1-2 minutes. Use only recipients that are microwave-safe. Result: The following indication is displayed: Press the Auto Rapid Defrost button one or more times according to the type of food to be defrosted. Refer to the table on the opposite page for further details. 2. Select the food weight by pressing the 100g button. It is possible to set up to a maximum of 1500 g. 3. Press the Start button. Result: • Defrosting begins. • The oven beeps halfway through defrosting to remind you to turn the food over. • Press the Start button again to finish defrosting. The following table presents the various Auto Rapid Defrost programmes, quantities and appropriate instructions. Remove all kinds of package material before defrosting. Place meat, poultry, fish and fruit/berry on a ceramic plate. Code/Food Serving Size Instructions 1 Meat 200-1500 g Shield the edges with aluminium foil. Turn the meat over, when the oven beeps. This programme is suitable for beef, lamb, pork, steaks, chops, minced meat. Stand for 20-90 minutes. 2 Poultry 200-1500 g Shield the leg and wing tips with aluminium foil. Turn the poultry over, when the oven beeps. This programme is suitable for whole chicken as well as for chicken portions. Stand for 20-90 minutes. 3 Fish 200-1500 g Shield the tail of a whole fish with aluminium foil. Turn the fish over, when the oven beeps. This programme is suitable for whole fishes as well as for fish fillets. Stand for 20-80 minutes. 4 Fruit / Berry 100-600 g Spread fruits evenly into a flat glass dish. This programme is suitable for all kind of fruits. Stand for 5-20 minutes. You can also defrost food manually. To do so, select the microwave cooking/reheating function with a power level of 180 W. Refer to the section entitled “Cooking/Reheating” on page 10 for further details. Use only dishes that are microwave-safe. The defrost time and power level are set automatically. You simply select the programme and the weight. First, place the frozen food in the centre of the turntable and close the door. MULTISTAGE COOKING Your microwave oven can be programmed to cook food up to three stages. Example: You wish to defrost food and cook it without having to reset the oven after each stage. You can thus defrost and cook a 500 g fish in three stages: • Defrosting • Cook I • Cook II You can set between two and three stages in multistage cooking. If you set three stage, the first stage must be defrosting. Don’t press the Start button until you’ve set the final stage. 1. Press the Auto Rapid Defrost button once or more times. 2. Set the weight by pressing the 100g buttons the appropriate number of times (500 g in the example). 3. Press the Microwave button. The microwave mode (I) : If necessary, set the power level by pressing the Microwave button again one or more times. (600 W in the example) 5. Press the Microwave button. The microwave mode (II) : If necessary, set the power level by pressing the Microwave button again one or more times. (450 W in the example) 6. Set the cooking time by pressing the 10 min, 1 min and 10 s buttons the appropriate number of times (5 minutes in the example). 7. Press the Start button. Result: The three modes [defrosting and cooking (I, II)] are selected on after. According to the defrosting mode that you have chosen, the oven may beep half way through defrosting to remind you to turn the food over. • When cooking is over, the oven beeps four times. 4. Set the cooking time by pressing the 10 min, 1 min and 10 s buttons the appropiate number of times (4 minutes in the example). Care must therefore be taken when choosing the cookware. If the cookware is marked microwave-safe, you do not need to worry. The following table lists various types of cookware and indicates whether and how they should be used in a microwave oven. The food is either overcooked or undercooked. • Was the appropriate cooking length set for the type of food? • Was an appropriate power level chosen? Only if boilable or oven-proof. Should not be airtight. Prick with a fork, if necessary. Can be used to retain moisture and prevent spattering. The light bulb is not working. • The Light bulb should not be replaced in person for safety reasons. Please contact nearest authorised Samsung customer care, to arrange for a qualified engineer to replace the bulb. The oven causes interference with radios or televisions. ✓ : Recommended ✓✗ : Use caution ✗ : Unsafe • Slight interference may be observed on televisions or radios when the oven is operating. This is normal. To solve this problem, install the oven away from televisions, radios and aerials. • If interference is detected by the oven’s microprocessor, the display may be reset. To solve this problem, disconnect the power plug and reconnect it. Reset the time.
