Preparation:
Turn on the television and select the appropriate video
input to suit the connections to this unit.
Press [/l] to turn on the unit.
Press [DRIVE SELECT] to select the DVD drive.
Press [ OPEN/CLOSE] on the main unit to insert a disc.

Formatting
Formatting is the process of making media such as DVD-RAM recordable on recording equipment.

Use the Finalise feature!
“Finalising” (page 57 of Operating Instructions)
DVD-R, etc. recorded on this unit cannot be played on other players immediately after recording. Using the
Finalise feature allows you to play these discs on other players. (However, once the disc is finalised you
will no longer be able to record to the disc.)
Auto Finalise
Auto finalisation is always offered before an unfinalised disc is ejected.
Finalise the disc so that it can be played on other DVD players.
