Reference Guide DMR-EX77EB/DMR-EX87EB This guide offers basic instructions. For detailed operations, please see the separate Operating Instructions. Preparation: Turn on the television and select the appropriate video input to suit the connections to this unit. Press /l button to turn on the unit. Using the Finalise feature allows you to play these discs on other players. (However, once the disc is finalised you will no longer be able to record to the disc.) Auto Finalise Auto finalisation is always offered before an unfinalised disc is ejected. Finalise the disc so that it can be played on other DVD players. 1 After recording OPEN/CLOSE Finalise Finalise the disc so that it can be played on other DVD players. Note: Recording or Editing is not possible after finalising. This may take up to min. Press the REC button to start finalise. REC OPEN/CLOSE Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to exit. This disc cannot be played on other DVD players without finalising. 2a REC Finalise and eject. Finalising takes up to 15 minutes.
