Quick User’s Guide For more information please always refer to the User Manual. Before you activate the appliance make sure you have removed all packaging including the transit bolts (refer to the Installation Instruction). On/Off push button The On/Off button with AUTO Stand-by function The Stand-by function automatically deactivates the appliance to reduce energy consumption when: 1. You do not use the appliance for 5 minutes. Press the button On/Off to activate the appliance again. 2. 5 minutes after the end of the washing programme. Press the On/Off button to activate the appliance again. The display shows the end of previous programme. Turn the programme dial to set a new cycle. If the dial is rotated to the reset position , the appliance automatically turns off in 30 seconds. Interactive Display Temperature indicator. The Door locked indicator and indicator appears when a cold wash is selected. Child lock indicator. Delay start indicator. The time area can show: Programme duration Delay time Cycle Warning code Reduce time bars level indicator. Maximum laundry weight indicator. Drum clean indicator and Add Garments indicator - illuminates at the beginning of the Wash phase, while the user can still pause the appliance and add more laundry. Spin speed indicator. No spin speed indicator. Spin phase is off. Rinse hold indicator and Quiet indicator. Activating the appliance Before you activate the appliance read the Safety Information in the User Manual. Press and hold the On/Off button for a couple of seconds to activate or deactivate the appliance. A tune sounds when the appliance is activated. Setting a programme 1. Set the dial to a selected programme: • The indicator of the button Start/Pause flashes slowly. 2. If necessary, change the temperature and the spin speed and add available options. When you activate an option, the indicator of the set option comes on. Programmes Programme Temperature range Programme description (Type of load and soil level) Cotton 90°C - Cold White cotton and coloured cotton. Normal soil and light soil. Cotton Eco 60°C - 40°C White cotton and colour-fast cotton. Normal soil.The energy consumption decreases and cycle duration is extended. Synthetics 60°C - Cold Delicates 40°C - Cold Synthetic items or mixed fabric items. Normal soil. 14 min wash 30°C Synthetic and mixed fabric items. Light soil and items to freshen up. Rinse All fabrics, except woollens and very delicate fabrics. Spin/Drain All fabrics, except woollens and delicate fabrics. Anti-allergy 60°C White cotton items. Duvet 60°C - Cold Single synthetic blanket, padded clothes, duvets, down jackets and similar items. Silk 30°C Programme for silk and mixed synthetic items. Wool 40°C - Cold Sports heavy 40°C - Cold Outdoor 40°C - Cold Machine washable wool, hand washable wool and delicate fabrics with <<hand washing>> care symbol. Denim 40°C - Cold Special programme for Denim clothing with delicate washing phase to minimize colour fading and marks. For better care a reduced load size is recommended. Delicate fabrics such as acrylics, viscose, polyester items. Normal soil. Mixed fabric sportswear. Light soil items or items to refresh. Modern sports clothes such as gym, cycling, jogging and similar items. Waterproof, waterproof-breathable and water repellent fabrics. The detergent dispenser Detergent compartment for prewash, soak programme or stain remover. Detergent compartment for washing phase. Compartment for liquid additives. Caution! Do not exceed the Max level. Flap for powder or liquid detergent. When you use the liquid detergent: • Do not use gelatinous or thick liquid detergents. • Do not exceed the maximum level indicated on the flap. • Do not set the delay start. To use powder detergent, turn the flap up. To use liquid detergent, turn the flap down. Troubleshooting Refer to Safety chapter in User Manual. Deactivate the appliance before you do the checks. First try to find solution to the problem. If the error persists, contact the Authorised Service Centre. If the appliance is overloaded, remove some items from the drum and/or hold the door shut and push the Start/ Pause button at the same time until the indicator Door lock stops flashing. The display can show alarm codes (refer to the “Troubleshooting” table in the User Manual): The appliance does not fill with water properly. The appliance does not drain the water. The appliance door is open or not closed correctly. The mains supply is unstable. Wait until the mains supply is stable. No communication between electronic elements of the appliance. Switch it off and switch on again. Care and cleaning Clean the appliance filter regularly. Refer to ‘Care and Cleaning’ chapter in user manual. 192941030-A-292017
