Sicherheit
Die Sicherheit unserer Kältegeräte entspricht den anerkannten Regeln der
Technik und dem Gerätesicherheitsgesetz. Dennoch sehen wir uns veranlaßt, Sie mit folgenden Sicherheitshinweisen vertraut zu machen:
Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
• Das Kältegerät ist für die Verwendung im Haushalt bestimmt. Es eignet sich zum Kühlen, Einfrieren und Tiefkühllagern von Lebens-mitteln sowie zur Eisbereitung. Wird das Gerät zweckentfremdet oder falsch bedient, kann vom Hersteller keine Haftung für eventuelle Schäden übernommen werden.
• Umbauten oder Veränderungen am Kältegerät sind aus Sicherheits-gründen nicht zulässig.
• Sollten Sie das Kältegerät gewerblich oder für andere Zwecke als zum
Kühlen, Tiefkühllagern und Einfrieren von Lebensmitteln benutzen, beachten Sie bitte die für Ihren Bereich gültigen gesetzlichen Bestimmungen.
Vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme
• Überprüfen Sie das Kältegerät auf Transportschäden. Ein beschädigtes
Gerät auf keinen Fall anschließen! Wenden Sie sich im Schadensfall bitte an den Lieferanten.
Kältemittel
Das Gerät enthält im Kältemittelkreislauf das Kältemittel Isobutan (R600a), ein Naturgas mit hoher Umweltverträglichkeit, das jedoch brennbar ist.
• Achten Sie beim Transportieren und Aufstellen des Gerätes darauf, daß keine Teile des Kältemittelkreislaufs beschädigt werden.
• Bei Beschädigung des Kältemittelkreislaufs:
– offenes Feuer und Zündquellen unbedingt vermeiden;
– den Raum, in dem das Gerät steht, gut durchlüften.
Sicherheit von Kindern
• Verpackungsteile (z. B. Folien, Styropor) können für Kinder gefähr-lich sein. Erstickungsgefahr! Verpackungsmaterial von Kindern fernhalten!
• Ausgediente Altgeräte bitte vor der Entsorgung unbrauchbar machen.
Netzstecker ziehen, Netzkabel durchtrennen, eventuell vorhandene Schnapp- oder Riegelschlösser entfernen oder zerstören. Dadurch verhindern
Sie, daß sich spielende Kinder im Gerät einsperren (Erstickungsgefahr!) oder in andere lebensgefährliche Situationen geraten.
• Das Gerät darf von Kindern und Personen, deren physische, sensorische oder geistige Fähigkeiten sowie Mangel an Erfahrung und Kenntnissen einen sicheren Gebrauch des Gerätes ausschließen, nur unter Aufsicht oder nach entsprechender Einweisung durch eine Person benutzt werden, die sicherstellt, dass sie sich den Gefahren des Gebrauchs bewusst sind.
Kinder sind zu beaufsichtigen, sodass sie nicht am Gerät spielen können!
Im Alltagsbetrieb
• Behälter mit brennbaren Gasen oder Flüssigkeiten können durch Kälteeinwirkung undicht werden. Explosionsgefahr! Lagern Sie keine Behälter mit brennbaren Stoffen, wie z.B. Spraydosen, Feuerzeug-Nachfüllkartuschen etc. im Kältegerät.
• Flaschen und Dosen dürfen nicht in den Gefrierraum. Sie können springen, wenn der Inhalt gefriert - bei kohlensäurehaltigem Inhalt sogar explodieren! Legen Sie nie Limonaden, Säfte, Bier, Wein, Sekt usw. in den
Gefrierraum. Ausnahme: Hochprozentige Spirituosen können im Gefrierraum gelagert werden.
• Speiseeis und Eiswürfel nicht unmittelbar aus dem Gefrierraum in den
Mund nehmen. Sehr kaltes Eis kann an Lippen oder Zunge festfrieren und
Verletzungen verursachen.
• Tiefkühlgut nicht mit nassen Händen berühren. Die Hände könnten daran festfrieren.
• Keine Elektrogeräte (z. B. elektrische Eismaschinen, Rührgeräte etc.) im
Kältegerät betreiben.
• Vor Reinigungsarbeiten das Gerät grundsätzlich abschalten und den Netzstecker ziehen oder Sicherung in der Wohnung abschalten bzw. herausdrehen.
• Netzstecker immer am Stecker aus der Steckdose ziehen, nie am Kabel.
Im Störungsfall
• Sollte einmal eine Störung am Gerät auftreten, sehen Sie bitte zuerst in dieser Gebrauchsanweisung unter "Was tun, wenn ..." nach. Falls die dort aufgeführten Hinweise nicht weiterhelfen, führen Sie bitte keine weiteren Arbeiten selbst aus.
• Kältegeräte dürfen nur von Fachkräften repariert werden. Durch unsachgemäße Reparaturen können erhebliche Gefahren entstehen. Wenden Sie sich im Reparaturfall bitte an Ihren Fachhändler oder an unseren Kundendienst.
Entsorgung
Information zur Geräteverpackung
Alle verwendeten Werkstoffe sind umweltverträglich! Sie können gefahrlos deponiert oder in der Müllverbrennungsanlage verbrannt werden!
Zu den Werkstoffen: Die Kunststoffe können auch wiederverwertet werden und sind folgendermaßen gekennzeichnet:
>PE< für Polyäthylen, z. B. bei der äußeren Hülle und den Beuteln im Innern.
>PS< für geschäumtes Polystyrol, z. B. bei den Polsterteilen, grundsätzlich
FCKW-frei.
Die Kartonteile werden aus Altpapier hergestellt und sollten auch wie der zur Altpapiersammlung gegeben werden.

Entsorgung von Altgeräten
Aus Umweltschutzgründen müssen Kältegeräte fachgerecht entsorgt werden. Dies gilt für Ihr bisheriges Gerät und - nachdem es eines Tages ausgedient hat - auch für Ihr neues Gerät.
Warnung!
Ausgediente Altgeräte bitte vor der Entsorgung unbrauchbar machen. Netzstecker ziehen, Netzkabel durchtrennen, eventuell vorhandene Schnapp- oder Riegelschlösser entfernen oder zerstören. Dadurch verhindern Sie, daß sich spielende Kinder im Gerät einsperren (Erstickungsgefahr!) oder in andere lebensgefährliche Situationen geraten.
Entsorgungshinweise:
• Das Gerät darf nicht mit dem Haus- oder Sperrmüll entsorgt werden.
• Der Kältemittelkreislauf, insbesondere der Wärmetauscher an der Geräterückseite, darf nicht beschädigt werden.
• Das Symbol auf dem Produkt oder seiner Verpackung weist darauf hin, dass dieses Produkt nicht als normaler Haushaltsabfall zu behandeln ist, sondern an einem Sammelpunkt für das Recycling von elektrischen und elektronischen Geräten abgegeben werden muss. Durch Ihren Beitrag zum korrekten Entsorgen dieses Produkts schützen Sie die Umwelt und die Gesundheit Ihrer Mitmenschen.
Umwelt und Gesundheit werden durch falsches Entsorgen gefährdet. Weitere Informationen über das Recycling dieses Produkts erhalten Sie von Ihrem Rathaus, Ihrer Müllabfuhr oder dem
Geschäft, in dem Sie das Produkt gekauft haben.
Transportschutz entfernen
Das Gerät sowie Teile der Innenausstattung sind für den Transport geschützt.
• Alle Klebebänder sowie Polsterteile aus dem Geräteinnenraum entfernen.
Aufstellen
Aufstellort
Das Gerät soll in einem gut belüfteten und trockenen Raum stehen.
Die Umgebungstemperatur wirkt sich auf den Stromverbrauch aus. Daher sollte das Gerät
– nicht direkter Sonneneinstrahlung ausgesetzt sein;
– nicht an Heizkörpern, neben einem Herd oder sonstigen Wärmequellen stehen;
– nur an einem Ort stehen, dessen Umgebungstemperatur der Klima-klasse entspricht, für die das Gerät ausgelegt ist.
Die Klimaklasse finden Sie auf dem Typschild, das sich links im Innenraum des Kühlraumes befindet.
Nachstehende Tabelle zeigt, welche Umgebungstemperatur welcher Klimaklasse zugeordnet ist:

Ist die Aufstellung neben einer Wärmequelle unvermeidbar, sind fol-gende seitliche Mindestabstände einzuhalten:
– zu Elektroherden 3 cm;
– zu Öl- und Kohleherden 30 cm.
Können diese Abstände nicht eingehalten werden, ist eine Wärme-schutzplatte zwischen Herd und Kältegerät erforderlich.
Steht das Kältegerät neben einem anderen Kühl- oder Gefriergerät, ist ein seitlicher Abstand von 5 cm erforderlich, damit sich an den Geräte-Außenseiten kein Schwitzwasser bildet.
Ihr Gerät braucht Luft
Aus Gründen der Sicherheit muß eine Mindestbelüftung gesichert sein, wie aus der Abb. hervorgeht:
Achtung:
Die Lüftungs-Öffnungen müssen immer saubergehalten werden. Die
Lüftungsöffnungen niemals abdecken oder verstellen.
Abstandstücke
Das Gerät ist mit 2 Abstandstücken ausgestattet, die wie in der Abbildung gezeigt montiert werden müssen.
Die Schrauben etwas lösen. Das
Abstandstück unter den Schraubenkopf schieben und die Schraube wieder festziehen.

Türgriffe montieren
1.
Oberen Griffträger mit
Griffstange verschrauben
(1). Unteren Griffträger an der linken Türunterseite montieren (2).
2.
Oberen Griffträger links oben an Tür montieren (3) und Griffstange mit unterem Griffträger verschrauben (4).
Vorsicht!
Schrauben nicht zu fest anziehen (max 2 Nm), die
Türgriffe könnten beschädigt werden.
Türanschlag wechseln
Der Türanschlag kann von rechts (Lieferzustand) nach links gewechselt werden, falls der Aufstellort dies erfordert.
Warnung!
Während des Türanschlagwechsels darf das Gerät nicht am
Stromnetz angeschlossen sein. Vorher Netzstecker ziehen.
Vorgehensweise
1.
Sockelblende (D) nach vorn abziehen.

Unteres Türlager (E) abschrauben.

Kühlraumtür nach unten abnehmen.

Mittleres Türlager (H) abschrauben.

Gefrierraumtür nach unten abnehmen.

Oberen Türlagerzapfen (G) abschrauben und auf gegenüberliegenden Seite montieren.
7.
Abdeckstöpsel für die Bohrlöcher von links nach rechts umsetzen.
8.
Gefrierraumtür auf oberen Türlagerzapfen aufsetzen und schließen.
9.
Mittleres Türlager (H) unten links in die Gefrierraumtür einsetzen und am
Gehäuse festschrauben.
10.
Kühlraumtür auf mittleres Türlager aufsetzen und schließen.
11.
Mit Hilfe eines 10 mm Schlüssel den unteren Scharnierstift abschrauben und auf gegenüberliegenden Scharnierseite wieder anschrauben.
12.
Unteres Scharnier (E) auf gegenüberliegende Türseite montieren und mittels der vorher entnommenen Schrauben befestigen.
Abdeckung (F) vom Entlüftungsgitter (D) herausschieben und auf gegenüberliegende Seite montieren.
13.
Entlüftungsgitter wieder einsetzen.

Gerät in Position bringen, ausrichten und ans Stromnetz anschließen.
15.
Falls erforderlich, Türen ausrichten
Achtung:
Vergewissern Sie sich nach Ausführung des Türanschlagwechsels, daß alle Schrauben fest angezogzen sind und die Türdichtung einwandfrei am Gehäuse anliegt.
Gegenfalls die Türdichtung vorsichtig mit einem Fön erwärmen
(max.50°C) und von Hand in
Form ziehen.
Elektrischer Anschluß
Für den elektrischen Anschluß ist eine vorschriftsmäßig installierte
Schutzkontakt-Steckdose erforderlich. Sie sollte so gesetzt sein, daß ein
Ziehen des Netzsteckers möglich ist.
Die elektrische Absicherung muß mindestens 10/16 Ampere betragen.
Ist die Steckdose bei eingebautem Gerät nicht mehr zugänglich, muß eine geeignete Maßnahme in der Elektroinstallation sicherstellen, daß das Gerät vom Netz getrennt werden kann (z. B. Sicherung, LS-Schalter, Fehlerstrom-
Schutzschalter oder dergleichen mit einer Kontaktöffnungsweite von mindestens 3 mm).
• Vor Inbetriebnahme am Typschild des Gerätes überprüfen, ob Anschlußspannung und Stromart mit den Werten des Stromnetzes am Aufstellort
übereinstimmen.
Z. B.: AC 230 ... 240 V 50 Hz oder
230 ... 240 V~ 50 Hz
(d. h. 230 bis 240 Volt Wechselstrom, 50 Hertz)
Das Typschild befindet sich links im Innenraum des Kühlraumes.
Vor Inbetriebnahme
• Das Geräteinnere und alle Ausstattungsteile bitte vor Erstinbetrieb-nahme reinigen (siehe Abschnitt "Reinigung und Pflege").

Tasten zur Temperatureinstellung
Die Temperatureinstellung erfolgt durch die Tasten B und D.
Die Tasten stehen in Verbindung mit der Temperaturanzeige.
Durch Druck auf eine der beiden Tasten B oder D wird die Temperaturanzeige von der IST-Temperatur (Temperaturanzeige leuchtet) auf die SOLL-
Temperatur (Temperaturanzeige blinkt) umgeschaltet.
Mit jedem weiteren Druck auf eine der beiden Tasten wird die SOLL- Temperatur um 1 °C weiter gestellt. Die SOLL- Temperatur muss innerhalb 24
Stunden erreicht werden.
Wird keine Taste gedrückt, schaltet die Temperaturanzeige nach kurzer Zeit
(ca. 5 sec.) automatisch wieder auf die IST-Temperatur zurück.
SOLL-Temperatur bedeutet:
Die Temperatur, die im Kühlraum vorhanden sein soll. Die SOLL-Temperatur wird durch blinkende Zahlen angezeigt..
IST-Temperatur bedeutet:
Die Temperaturanzeige zeigt die Temperatur an, die momentan tatsächlich im Kühlraum vorhanden ist. Die IST-Temperatur wird durch leuchtende Zahlen angezeigt.

Temperaturanzeige
Die Temperaturanzeige kann mehrere Informationen anzeigen.
Bei normalem Betrieb wird die Temperatur angezeigt, die momentan im
Kühlraum vorhanden ist (IST-Temperatur).
Während der Temperatureinstellung wird blinkend die im Moment eingestellte Kühlraumtemperatur angezeigt (SOLL-Temperatur).
Inbetriebnahme - Temperatur einstellen
1.
Netzstecker in die Steckdose stecken.
2.
Taste ON/OFF (A) drücken. Die Temperaturanzeige (C) zeigt die momentan im
Kühlraum vorhandene IST-Temperatur an.
3.
Auf eine der Tasten B oder D drücken. Die Temperaturanzeige schaltet um und zeigt blinkend die momentan eingestellte SOLL-Temperatur an.
4.
Gewünschte Temperatur durch Drücken der Tasten C und E einstellen (siehe
Abschnitt "Tasten zur Temperatureinstellung"). Die Temperaturanzeige zeigt sofort die geänderte Einstellung an. Mit jedem Tastendruck wird die Temperatur um 1 °C weitergestellt.
Aus ernährungswissenschaftlicher Sicht ist +5°C für den Kühlraum als ausreichend kalte Lagertemperatur anzusehen.

Wenn nach erfolgter Temperatureinstellung die Tasten nicht mehr gedrückt werden, schaltet die Temperaturanzeige nach kurzer Zeit (ca. 5 sec.) um und zeigt wieder die momentan im Kühlraum vorhandene IST-Temperatur an.
Die Anzeige wechselt von Blinken zu kontinuierlichem Leuchten.
Der Kompressor startet und läuft dann automatisch.
Hinweis: Bei Anderung der Einstellung läuft der Kompressor nicht sofort an, wenn gerade automatisch abgetaut wird.
Da die Lagertemperatur im Kühlraum schnell erreicht wird, können Sie gleich nach dem Einschalten Kühlgut einlagern.
COOLMATIC-Taste
Die COOLMATIC-Funktion eignet sich zum schnellen Abkühlen größerer
Kühlgutmengen im Kühlraum, z. B. Getränke, Salate anläßlich einer Party.
1.
Durch Drücken der Taste COOLMATIC wird die COOLMATIC-Funktion eingeschaltet. Die gelbe Anzeige leuchtet.
Die COOLMATIC-Funktion sorgt jetzt für intensives Kühlen. Dabei wird automatisch eine SOLL-Temperatur von +2 °C vorgegeben. Nach Ablauf

von 6 Stunden wird die COOLMATIC-Funktion selbsttätig beendet. Die ursprünglich eingestellte SOLL-Temperatur ist dann wieder maßgebend. und die Temperaturanzeige zeigt die momentane Kühlraumtemperatur.
2.
Durch erneutes Drücken der Taste COOLMATIC kann die COOLMATIC-Funktion jederzeit manuell beendet werden. Die gelbe Anzeige erlischt..

Urlaubsschaltung
Bei der Urlaubsschaltung beträgt die Temperaturvorgabe für den Kühlraum
+15 °C. Sie haben dadurch die Möglichkeit – ohne daß es zu einer Geruchsoder Schimmelbildung kommt – bei längerer Abwesenheit (z.B. Urlaub) den leeren Kühlraum statt offen auch geschlossen zu halten. Vorteil: Unbeabsichtigtes Zufallen der Tür bzw. versehentliches Zudrücken der Tür durch Personen, die während Ihrer Abwesenheit Zutritt zu Ihren Wohnräumen haben, ist nicht mehr möglich. Ohne die Urlaubsschaltung würde dies Geruchsund Schimmelbildung zur Folge haben.
1. Zum Einschalten der Urlaubsschaltung auf Taste B drücken.
2. Taste B so lange drücken, bis die Temperaturanzeige H (für Holiday) anzeigt. In der Temperaturanzeige ändert sich die angezeigte Temperatur bis +8 °C in 1°C-Schritten. Nach +8 °C folgt der Wert +15 °C, in der Anzeige der Buchstabe H. Jetzt befindet sich der Kühlraum im energiesparenden Urlaubsbetrieb.
Kühlraum abschalten
Zum Abschalten die Taste “B” mehrere Male drücken, bis in der Temperaturanzeige (C) das Symbol “OF” erscheint . Dann drücken die Taste “B” wieder für ca. 5 Sekunden. In der Temperaturanzeige erfolgt ein sogenannter
“Count down”, dabei wird rückwärts von “3” nach “1” gezählt. Mit Erreichen der “1” schaltet der Kühlraum ab. Die Temperaturanzeige erlischt.
Innenausstattung
Abstellflächen
Die Abstellfläche aus Glas über den
Obst- und Gemüseschalen muß immer in dieser Stellung verbleiben, damit Obst und Gemüse länger frisch bleiben.Die übrigen Abstellflächen sind höhenverstellbar. Dazu die
Abstellfläche soweit nach vorne ziehen, bis sie sich nach oben oder unten abschwenken und herausnehmen läßt. Das Einsetzen in eine andere Höhe bitte in umgekehrter
Reihenfolge vornehmen.

Variable Innentür
Je nach Erfordernis können die Abstellfächer der Kühlraumtür nach oben herausgenommen und in andere Aufnahmen umgesetzt werden.
Feuchteregulierung
Vor der Abstellfläche über den Obst- und Gemüseschalen befindet sich bei einigen Modellen ein verstellbares Lüftungsgitter. Die Öffnung der Lüftungsschlitze kann mit einem Schieber stufenlos reguliert werden.
Schieber rechts: Lüftungsschlitze geöffnet.
Schieber links: Lüftungsschlitze geschlossen.
Bei geöffneten Lüftungsschlitzen stellt sich infolge stärkerer Luftzirkulation ein niedrigerer Feuchtegehalt der Luft in den Obst- und Gemüseschalen ein. Bei geschlossenen Lüftungsschlitzen bleibt der natürliche
Feuchtegehalt der Lebensmittel in den Obst- und Gemüseschalen länger erhalten.

Flaschenablage
Flaschen mit dem Flaschenhals nach vorne in die Ablage legen.
Achtung: Nur ungeöffnete Flaschen waagrecht lagern.
Zur Lagerung angebrochener Flaschen kann die Flaschenablage schräggestellt werden.
Dazu die Flaschenablage soweit nach vorne ziehen, bis sie sich nach oben abschwenken läßt, und dann die vordere Auflage in die nächsthöhere Ebene einschieben.

Richtig lagern
Um die besten Leistungen des Kühlschrankes zu erreichen, beachten Sie bitte folgendes:
• Keine warmen Speisen oder Flüssigkeiten in den Kühlschrank einstellen.
• Geruchverbreitende Lebensmittel sollten abgedeckt oder eingewickelt werden.
• Die Lebensmittel müssen so eingelagert werden, daß die Luft frei zirkulieren kann.
Nachstehend einige praktische Ratschläge:
Fleisch (alle Sorten) in Plastikfolie einpacken und auf die Glasplatte, die sich über der Gemüseschale (über den Gemüseschalen) befindet, legen.
In dieser Lage kann das Fleisch längstens 1-2 Tage aufbewahrt werden.
Gekochte Nahrungsmittel, kalte Platten, usw. zugedeckt aufbewahren.
Sie können auf jede beliebige Ablage gelegt werden.
Obst und Gemüse: nach vorherigem Säubern und Waschen in der Gemüseschale aufbewahren
Butter und Käse: in speziellen Behältern aufbewahren oder in Alu-bzw.
Plastikfolie einpacken, um den Kontakt mit der Luft zu vermeiden.
Milch in Flaschen: gut verschlossen in das Flaschenfach der Innentür stellen.
Bananen, Kartoffeln, Zwiebeln und Knoblauch sollten nicht unverpackt im Kühlschrank aufbewahrt werden.

Die Temperatureinstellung erfolgt durch die Tasten I und K.
Die Tasten stehen in Verbindung mit der Temperaturanzeige.
Durch Druck auf eine der beiden Tasten I oder K wird die Temperaturanzeige von der IST-Temperatur (Temperaturanzeige leuchtet) auf die SOLL-Temperatur (Temperaturanzeige blinkt) umgeschaltet.
Mit jedem weiteren Druck auf eine der beiden Tasten wird die SOLL- Temperatur um 1 °C weiter gestellt. Die SOLL- Temperatur muss innerhalb 24
Stunden erreicht werden.
Wird keine Taste gedrückt, schaltet die Temperaturanzeige nach kurzer Zeit
(ca. 5 sec.) automatisch wieder auf die IST-Temperatur zurück.
SOLL-Temperatur bedeutet:
Die Temperatur, die im Gefrierraum vorhanden sein soll. Die SOLL-Temperatur wird durch blinkende Zahlen angezeigt.
IST-Temperatur bedeutet:
Die Temperaturanzeige zeigt die Temperatur an, die momentan tatsächlich im Gefrierraum vorhanden ist. Die IST-Temperatur wird durch leuchtende
Zahlen angezeigt.

Temperaturanzeige
Die Temperaturanzeige kann mehrere Informationen anzeigen.
Bei normalem Betrieb wird die Temperatur angezeigt, die momentan im
Gefrierraum vorhanden ist (IST-Temperatur).
Während der Temperatureinstellung wird blinkend die im Moment eingestellte Gefrierraumtemperatur angezeigt (SOLL-Temperatur).
Inbetriebnahme - Temperatur einstellen
1.
Netzstecker in die Steckdose stecken.
2.
Taste ON/OFF drücken. Die Temperaturanzeige (J) zeigt die momentan im
Gefrierraum vorhandene IST-Temperatur an. Die rote Warnanzeige (M) signalisiert blinkend, daß die erforderliche Lagertemperatur noch nicht erreicht ist.
Ein Warnton ist zu hören.
3.
Auf eine der Tasten (I) oder (K) drücken. Die Temperaturanzeige schaltet um und zeigt blinkend die momentan eingestellte SOLL-Temperatur an.
4.
Gewünschte Temperatur durch Drücken der Tasten I und K einstellen (siehe
Abschnitt "Tasten zur Temperatureinstellung"). Die Temperaturanzeige zeigt sofort die geänderte Einstellung an. Mit jedem Tastendruck wird die Temperatur um 1°C weitergestellt.
Aus ernährungswissenschaftlicher Sicht ist -18°C für den Gefrierraum als ausreichend kalte Lagertemperatur anzusehen.
5.
Der Warnton schaltet sich ab, wenn die vorgegebene Temperatur im
Gefrierraum erreicht wird. Die rote Warnanzeige blinkt weiter. Taste ALARM
OFF drücken, um die rote Warnanzeige abzuschalten.
FROSTMATIC-Taste
Die FROSTMATIC-Funktion beschleunigt das Einfrieren frischer Lebensmittel und schützt gleichzeitig die bereits eingelagerte Ware vor unerwünschter
Erwärmung.
1.
Durch Drücken der Taste FROSTMATIC wird die FROSTMATIC-Funktion eingeschaltet. Die gelbe Anzeige leuchtet (G).
Wird die FROSTMATIC-Funktion nicht manuell beendet, schaltet die Elektronik des Gerätes die FROSTMATIC-Funktion nach ca. 52 Stunden ab. Die gelbe Anzeige erlischt.
2.
Durch erneutes Drücken der Taste FROSTMATIC kann die FROSTMATIC-
Funktion jederzeit manuell beendet werden. Die gelbe Anzeige erlischt..
Taste ALARM
Im Falle eines ungewöhnlichen Temperaturanstieges im Gefrierraum (z.B. bei
Strom ausfall) blinkt die rote Warnanzeige (M) und ein Warnton ertönt. Der
Warnton schaltet automatisch ab, wenn die eingestellte Gefrierraumtemperatur wieder erreicht wird. Die rote Warnanzeige blinkt weiter. Mit der
Taste ALARM können Sie den Warnton und die rote Warnanzeige abschalten. Auf der Temperaturanzeige erscheint für einige Sekunden die wärmste
Temperatur, die im Gefrierraum erreicht wurde.
Achtung: Bei Erwärmung im Gefrierraum muß der Zustand des Gefriergutes überprüft werden.
Gefrierraum abschalten
Zum Abschalten die Taste “I” mehrere Male drücken, bis in der Temperaturanzeige (J) das Symbol “OF” erscheint. Dann drücken die Taste “I” wieder für ca. 5 Sekunden. In der Temperaturanzeige erfolgt ein sogenannter “Count down”, dabei wird rückwärts von “3” nach “1” gezählt. Mit Erreichen der “1” schaltet der Gefrierraum ab. Die Temperaturanzeige erlischt.
Gerät abschalten
1.
Zum Abschalten drücken die Taste ON/OFF . Die Temperaturanzeige erlischt.
Hinweis:
Die Einstellung des Geräts kann bei gezogenem Netzstecker oder fehlender
Stromversorgung nicht geändert werden. Nach Anschluß an das Stromnetz nimmt das Gerät wieder den Zustand an, den es bei Netzunterbrechung hatte.
Soll das Gerät für längere Zeit außer Betrieb genommen werden:
1.
Schalten das Gerät ab (bitte sehen den oben genannten 1. Punkt).
2.
Netzstecker ziehen oder Sicherung abschalten bzw. herausdrehen.
3.
Gefrierfach abtauen und Gerät gründlich reinigen (siehe Abschnitt "Reinigung und Pflege").
4.
Türe anschließend geöffnet lassen, um Geruchsbildung zu vermeiden.

Einfrieren und Tiefkühllagern
Im Gefrierraum können Sie Tiefkühlkost lagern und frische Lebensmittel einfrieren.
Achtung!
• Vor dem Einfrieren von Lebensmitteln muß die Temperatur im Gefrierraum -18 °C oder kälter sein.
• Bitte das auf dem Typschild angegebene Gefriervermögen beachten. Das
Gefriervermögen ist die maximale Menge an frischer Ware, die innerhalb von 24 Stunden eingefroren werden kann. Wenn Sie an mehreren Tagen hintereinander einfrieren, nehmen Sie bitte nur 2/3 bis 3/4 der auf dem
Typschild angegebenen Menge. Sie erreichen eine bessere Qualität, wenn die Lebensmittel schnell bis zum Kern durchgefroren werden.
• Warme Lebensmittel vor dem Einfrieren abkühlen lassen. Die Wärme führt zu verstärkter Eisbildung und erhöht den Energieverbrauch.
• Auf die Lagerzeit bzw. auf das Haltbarkeitsdatum von gekauften Tiefkühlprodukten achten
• Einmal aufgetaute Lebensmittel ohne weitere Verarbeitung (garen zu Fertiggerichten) auf keinen Fall ein zweites Mal einfrieren.
• Behälter mit brennbaren Gasen oder Flüssigkeiten können durch Kälteeinwirkung undicht werden. Explosionsgefahr! Lagern Sie keine Behälter mit brennbaren Stoffen, wie z.B. Spraydosen, Feuerzeug-Nachfüllkartuschen etc. im Kältegerät.
• Flaschen und Dosen dürfen nicht in den Gefrierraum. Sie können springen, wenn der Inhalt gefriert - bei kohlensäurehaltigem Inhalt sogar explodieren! Legen Sie nie Limonaden, Säfte, Bier, Wein, Sekt usw. in den
Gefrierraum. Ausnahme: Hochprozentige Spirituosen können im Gefrierraum gelagert werden.
• Alle Lebensmittel vor dem Einfrieren luftdicht verpacken, damit sie nicht austrocknen, nicht den Geschmack verlieren und keine Geschmacksübertragung auf anderes Tiefkühlgut erfolgen kann.
Vorsicht!
Tiefkühlgut nicht mit nassen Händen berühren. Die Hände könnten daran festfrieren.
1.
Wenn Sie schnelles Einfrieren von Gefriergut wünschen, oder wenn Sie das max. Gefriervermögen ausnutzen wollen, müssen Sie die FROSTMATIC-Taste
24 Stunden vor dem Einlegen des Gefriergutes betätigen. Vergessen Sie nicht, nach dem Ende des Einfriervorganges die Taste erneut zu betätigen.
Sie vermeiden damit unnötigen Energieverbrauch.
2.
Legen Sie die verpackten Lebensmittel zum Einfrieren in die oberste Schublade. Nicht gefrorene Ware darf bereits gefrorene Ware nicht berühren, die gefrorene Ware kann sonst antauen.
3.
Tür so wenig wie möglich öffnen und nicht offen lassen.
Eiswürfel bereiten
1.
Eiswürfelschale zu 3/4 mit kaltem Wasser füllen, in den Gefrierraum stellen und gefrieren lassen.
2.
Zum Herauslösen der fertigen Eiswürfel die Eiswürfelschale verwinden oder kurz unter fließendes Wasser halten.
Achtung! Eine eventuell angefrorene Eiswürfelschale keinesfalls mit spitzen oder scharfkantigen Gegenständen ablösen, sonst besteht die Gefahr, daß der Kältekreislauf beschädigt wird. Verwenden Sie den beiliegenden Kunststoffschaber.
Gefrierkalender
• Die Symbole zeigen unterschiedliche Arten von Tiefkühlgut.
• Die Zahlen geben für die jeweilige Art von Tiefkühlgut die Lagerzeit in
Monaten an. Ob der obere oder der untere Wert der angegebenen Lagerzeiten gültig ist, hängt von der Qualität der Lebensmittel und deren Vorbehandlung vor dem Einfrieren ab. Für Lebensmittel mit hohem Fettanteil gilt immer der untere Wert.
Kälteakkus
Das Gerät ist mit zwei Kälteakkus ausgestattet.
Zum Einfrieren der Kälteakkus bitte Abschnitt "Vor Inbetriebnahme" beachten.
Bei Stromausfall oder einer Störung am Gerät verlängert die Kälteakkus die
Zeit bis zur unzulässigen Erwärmung des Gefrierguts um mehrere Stunden.
Diese Aufgabe erfüllen die Kälteakkus nur dann optimal, wenn sie in der obersten Schublade vorne oben auf dem Gefriergut eingelegt wird.
Die Kälteakkus können Sie vorübergehend auch als Kühlelement für Kühltaschen verwenden.

Abtauen
Kühlraum
Die Rückwand des Kühlraums bereift, während der Kompressor läuft, und taut vollautomatisch ab, wärend der Kompressor stillsteht.
Das Tauwasser wird in der Ablaufrinne an der Rückwand des Kühlraumes aufgefangen, durch das Ablaufloch in die Auffangschale am Kompressor geleitet und dort verdunstet.
Gefrierraum
Im Gefrierraum schlägt sich während des Betriebs und beim Öffnen der Tür
Feuchtigkeit als Reif nieder. Entfernen Sie diesen Reif von Zeit zu Zeit mit dem beiliegenden Kunststoffschaber.
Starke Reifbildung im Gefrierraum erhöht den Energieverbrauch. Deshalb soll abgetaut werden, wenn die Reifsicht eine Dicke von ca. 4 Millimeter erreicht hat; mindestens jedoch einmal im Jahr. Ein geeigneter Zeitpunkt zum Abtauen ist auch immer dann, wenn das Gerät leer oder nur wenig beladen ist Um ein vollständiges Abtauen durchzuführen, geht man wie folgt vor:
1.
Tiefkühlgut herausnehmen, in mehrere Lagen Zeitungspapier einpacken und abgedeckt an einem kühlen Ort lagern.
2.
Gerät abschalten und den Netzstecker ziehen oder Sicherung abschalten bzw. herausdrehen.
3.
Gefrierraumtür geöffnet lassen.
4.
Kunstoffschaber als Tauwasserablauf in den Schlitz unterhalb der Tauwasserablaufrinne stecken und Auffangschale unterstellen.

5.
Plastikschaber für späteren Gebrauch aufbewahren.
6.
Nach Beendigung des Abtauvorganges Netzstecker wieder einstecken und Temperaturregler auf die gewünschte Position einstellen.
Achtung:
Niemals harte und spitze Metallgegestände benutzen, um die Reifschicht abzukratzen, damit eine Beschädigung des Gerätes vermieden werden kann.
Benutzen Sie kein mechanisches oder anderes Mittel um den Abtauprozeß zu bescleunigen mit Ausnahme der vom Hersteller empfohlenen.
Ein Temperaturanstieg der Tiefkühlkost während des Abtauens könnte die
Aufbewahrungsdauer verkürzen.
Reinigung und Pflege
Aus hygienischen Gründen sollte das Geräteinnere, einschließlich Innenausstattung, regelmäßig gereinigt werden.
Warnung!
• Das Gerät darf während der Reinigung nicht am Stromnetz angeschlossen sein. Stromschlaggefahr! Vor Reinigungsarbeiten Gerät abschalten und Netzstecker ziehen oder Sicherung abschalten bzw. herausdrehen.
• Das Gerät nie mit Dampfreinigungsgeräten reinigen. Feuchtigkeit könnte in elektrische Bauteile gelangen, Stromschlaggefahr! Heißer Dampf kann zu Schäden an Kunststoffteilen führen.
• Das Gerät muß trocken sein, bevor Sie es wieder in Betrieb nehmen.
Achtung!
• Ätherische Öle und organische Lösungsmittel können Kunststoffteile angreifen, z. B.
– Saft von Zitronen- oder Apfelsinenschalen;
– Buttersäure;
– Reinigungsmittel, die Essigsäure enthalten.
Solche Substanzen nicht mit den Geräteteilen in Kontakt bringen.
• Keine scheuernden Reinigungsmittel verwenden.
1.
Kühl- und Tiefkühlgut herausnehmen. Tiefkühlgut in mehrere Lagen Zeitungspapier einpacken. Alles abgedeckt an einem kühlen Ort lagen.
2.
Gefrierfach vor dem Reinigen abtauen (siehe Abschnitt "Abtauen").
3.
Gerät abschalten und den Netzstecker ziehen oder Sicherung abschalten bzw. herausdrehen.
4.
Gerät einschließlich Innenausstattung mit einem Lappen und lauwar-mem
Wasser reinigen. Eventuell etwas handelsübliches Geschirrspülmittel beigeben.
5.
Anschließend mit klarem Wasser nachwischen und trockenreiben.
Staubablagerungen am Verflüssiger erhöhen den Energieverbrauch. Deshalb einmal im Jahr den Verflüssiger an der Geräterückseite mit einer weichen
Bürste oder mit dem Staubsauger vorsichtig reinigen.

6.
Die Ablauföffnung der Tropfrinne an der Rückwand des Kühlraumes kontrollieren. Bei Verstopfung diese mit Hilfe des grünen Stöpsels frei machen.
7.
Nachdem alles trocken ist, Lebensmittel wieder einlagern und
Gerät wieder in Betrieb nehmen.

Tips zur Energie-Einsparung
• Das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von Herden, Heizkörpern oder anderen Wärmequellen aufstellen. Bei hoher Umgebungstemperatur läuft der Kompressor häufiger und länger.
• Ausreichende Be- und Entlüftung des Gerätes gewährleisten. Lüf-tungsöffnungen niemals abdecken.
• Keine warmen Speisen in das Gerät stellen. Warme Speisen erst abkühlen lassen.
• Tür nur so lange wie nötig geöffnet lassen.
• Die Temperatur nicht kälter als nötig einstellen.
• Tiefkühlgut zum Auftauen in den Kühlraum legen. Die Kälte im Tief-kühlgut wird so zur Kühlung im Kühlraum genutzt.
• Den Verflüssiger, das Metallgitter an der Geräterückseite, immer sauber halten.

Warnung!
Reparaturen am Kältegerät dürfen nur von Fachkräften durchgeführt werden. Durch unsachgemäße Reparaturen können erhebliche
Gefahren für den Benutzer entstehen. Wenden Sie sich im Reparaturfall an
Ihren Fachhändler oder an unseren Kundendienst.

1. Zum Abschalten des Gerätes die
Taste ON/OFF drücken.
3. Zum Auswechseln der Lampe drücken die hintere Arretierung gegen das Gehäuse bis die trasparente Abdeckung ausrastet..

Die Abdeckung in Pfeilrichtung abnehmen (siehe Abbildung).
5. Ersetzen durch eine neue Birne gleicher Leistung (die maximale Leistung ist am Leuchtkörper angegeben).
6. Lampenabdeckung wieder einsetzen
7. Gerät wieder in Betrieb nehmen.

Safety
The safety aspects of our refrigerators/freezers comply with accepted technical standards and the German Appliance Safety Law. Nevertheless, we consider it our obligation to make you aware of the following safety information:
Intended use
• The refrigerator is intended for use in the home. It is suitable for the cooling, freezing and storing of frozen food, as well as for making ice. If the appliance is used for purposes other than those intended or used incorrectly, no liability can be accepted by the manufacturer for any damage that may be caused.
• Alterations or changes to the freezer are not permitted for reasons of safety.
• If you use the refrigerator in a commercial application or forpurposes other than the cooling, freezing or frozen storage of foods,please observe all valid legal regulations for your application.
Prior to initial start–up
• Check the refrigerator for transport damage. Under no circumstance should a damaged appliance be plugged in! In the event of damage, please contact the vendor.
Refrigerant
The refrigerant isobutane (R600a) is contained within the refrigerant circuit of the appliance, a natural gas with a high level of environmental compatibility, which is nevertheless flammable.
• During transportation and installation of the appliance, be certain that none of the components of the refrigerant circuit become damaged.
• If the refrigerant circuit should become damaged:
– avoid open flames and sources of ignition;
– thoroughly ventilate the room in which the appliance is situated.
Safety of children
• Packaging (e.g. wraps, polystyrene) can be dangerous for children. There is a risk of suffocation! Keep packaging material away from children!
• Please make old appliances unusable prior to disposal. Pull out the mains plug, cut off the mains cable, break or remove spring or boltcatches, if fitted. By doing this you ensure that children cannot lock themselves in the fridge when playing (there is risk of suffocation!)or get themselves into other dangerous situations.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. !

Daily Operation
• Containers with flammable gases or liquids can leak at low temperatures.
There is a risk of an explosion! Do not store any containers with flammable materials such as, for example, spray cans, fire extinguisher refill cartridges etc in the refrigerator/freezer.
• Bottles and cans must not be placed in the freezer compartment. They can burst when the contents freeze, high carbonate content drinks can even explode! Never store lemonade, juices, beer, wine, sparkling wine etc. in the freezer compartment. Exception: high alcohol content spirits can be stored in the freezer compartment.
• Do not put ice creams or ice cubes in the mouth immediately after removal from the freezer compartment. Very cold ice can freeze to the lips or tongue and cause injury.
• Do not touch frozen food with wet hands. Your hands could freeze to the food.
• Do not operate any electrical appliances in the refrigerator/freezer (e.g.
electric ice cream makers, mixers etc.).
• Before cleaning the appliance, always switch off the appliance and unplug it, or pull the house fuse or switch off the circuit breaker.
• When unplugging always pull the plug from the mains socket, do not pull on the cable.
In case of malfunction
• If the a malfunction occurs on the appliance, please look first in the "What to do if ..." section of these instructions. If the information given there does not help, please do not perform any further repairs yourself.
• Refrigerators/freezers may only be repaired by qualified service engineers.
Improper repairs can give rise to significant hazards. If your appliance needs repairing, please contact your specialist dealer or our Customer Service.
Disposal
Appliance Packaging Information
All materials are environmentally sound! They can be dumped or burned at an incinerating plant without danger!
About the materials: The plastics can be recycled and are identified as follows:
>PE< for polyethylene, e.g. the outer covering and the bags in the interior.
>PS< for polystyrene foam, e.g. the pads, which are all free of chlorofluorocarbon.
The carton parts are made from recycled paper and should be disposed of at a waste-paper recycling collection location.
Disposal of old Appliances
For environmental reasons, refrigeration appliances must be disposed of properly. This applies to your old appliance, and - at the end of its service life - for your new appliance as well.
Warning ! Before disposing of old appliances make them inoperable. Remove plug from mains, sever the power cable, remove or destroy any snap or latch closures. This eliminates the danger that playing children lock themselves into the appliance (danger of suffocation!) or place themselves into other life-endangering situations.
Disposal:
• The appliance may not be disposed of with domestic waste or bulky refuse.
• The refrigerant circuit, especially the heat exchanger at the back of the appliance, may not be damaged.
• The symbol on the product or on its packaging indicates that this product may not be treated as household waste. Instead it shall be handed over to the applicable collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment. By ensuring this product is disposed of correctly, you will help prevent potential negative consequences for the environment and human health, which could otherwise be caused by inappropriate waste handling of this product. For more detailed information about recycling of this product, please contact your local city office, your household waste disposal service or the shop where you purchased the product.
Remove transport safeguard
The appliance and the interior fittings are protected for transport.
• Remove all adhesive tape and packing pieces from the interior of the appliance.
Installation
Installation Location
The appliance should be set up in a well ventilated, dry room.
Energy use is affected by the ambient temperature. The appliance should therefore
– not be exposed to direct sunlight;

– not be installed next to radiators, cookers or other sources of heat;
– only be installed at a location whose ambient temperature corresponds to the climate classification, for which the appliance is designed.
The climate classification can be found on the serial plate, which is located at the left on the inside of the appliance.
The following table shows which ambient temperature is correct for each climate classification: each climate classification:

If installation next to a source of heat is unavoidable, the following minimum clearances must be maintained at the sides of the appliance:
– for electric cookers 3 cm;
– for oil and coal fired ranges 30 cm.
If these clearances cannot be maintained a heat insulating pad is required between the cooker and the refrigeration appliance.
If the refrigeration appliance is installed next to another refrigerator or freezer a clearance of 5 cm at the sides is required, in order to prevent the formation of condensation on the outside of the appliance.
Your appliance needs air
For safety reasons, minimum ventilationmust be as shown Fig.
Attention: keep ventilation openings clear of obstruction;

Rear spacers
Fit the rear spacers contained in the appliance to ensure even dissipation of heat genereted during operation. Proceed in the sequence illustrated by the figures.
Fitting the Door Handles
1.
Screw the top handle bracket to the handle rod
(1). Fit the bottom handle bracket on the lower lefthand side of the door (2).
2.
Fit the top handle bracket on the top left-hand side of the door (3) and screw the handle rod to the bottom handle bracket (4).
Attention!
Do not overtighten the screws (max. 2 Nm) as you may damage the door handles.

Rehingeing the door
The side at which the door opens can be changed from the right side (factory adjustment) to the left side, if the installation site requires.
Warning!
When changing the side at which the door opens, the appliance may not be connected to the mains.
Remove plug from the mains beforehand.
Procced as follow:
1.
Remove the clip-in ventilation grille
(D).
2.
Remove the bottom hinge (E) by unscrewing the fixing screws.
3.
Slide the bottom door off the centre hinge (H).
4.
Remove the centre hinge and slide the top door off pin (G); unscrew pin
(G) and refit it on the opposite side.
5.
Remove the two plugs, to reveal the holes for the hinge pivots, and remount them on the other side.
6.
Refit the top door and the centre hinge (H) on the opposite side.
7.
Refit the bottom door.
8. Using a 10 mm spanner, unscrew the hinge pin (E) and reassemble it on the opposite side of the hinge;
9.
Refit bottom hinge (E) on the opposite side, using the screws previously removed.
10.
Remove blanking cover (F) from ventilation grille (D) by pushing it in the direction of the arrow and refit it on the opposite side.
11.
Refit ventilation grille (D), clipping it into place.

12 Unscrew the top handle bracket from the handle rod
(1). Unscrew the bottom handle bracket from the door (2).
13.
Unscrew the top handle bracket from the door (3) and screw onto the bottom righthand side of the door (4).
14.
Turn the handle bracket with the handle rod 180° and screw them to the door (5) and the fitted handle bracket (6).
15.
Move the small plug from right to left.
Attention!
Do not overtighten the screws
(max. 2 Nm) as you may damage the door handles.
After having reversed the opening direction of the doors check that all the screws are properly tightened and that the magnetic seal adheres to the cabinet. If the ambient temperature is cold (i.e. in Winter), the gasket may not fit perfectly to the cabinet. in that case, wait for the natural fitting of the gasket or accelerate this process by heating up the part involved with a normal hairdrier.

Electrical connection
Before initial start-up, refer to the appliance rating plate to ascertain if supply voltage and current values correspond with those of the mains at the installation location.

The rating plate is inside the appliance on the left.
A correctly installed, earthed socket is required for the electrical supply. The supply must have a fuse rating of at least 10 Amps.
If the socket is not accessible once the appliance is built in, the electrical installation must include suitable means of isolating the appliance from the mains (e.g. fuse, cut-out, current trip or similar with a minimum contact separation of 3 mm).
Attention: The mains connection cable may only be replaced by a skilled electrician. Please contact your dealer or our customer service department for repairs.
Prior to Initial Start–Up
• Please clean the appliance interior and all accessories prior to initial startup (see section: “Cleaning and Care”).

The temperature is adjusted using the „B“ and „D“ buttons. These buttons are connected to the temperature display.
The temperature display is switched over from the display of the ACTUAL temperature (Temperature display is illuminated) to the display of the DESI-
RED temperature (Temperature display flashes) by pressing one of the two buttons, „B“ or „D“ .
Each time one of the two buttons is pressed again the DESIRED temperature is adjusted by 1 °C. The DESIRED temperature must be reached within 24 hours.
If neither button is pressed, the temperature display automatically switches back after a short period (approx. 5 sec.) to the display of the ACTUAL temperature.
DESIRED temperature means:
The temperature that has been selected for inside the fridge. The DESIRED temperature is indicated by flashing numbers.
ACTUAL temperature means:
The temperature display indicates the current temperature inside the fridge.
The ACTUAL temperature is indicated with illuminated numbers.
Temperature display
The temperature display can indicate several pieces of information.in the fridge (ACTUAL temperature) is displayed.

During normal operation, the temperature currently present in the fridge
(ACTUAL temperature) is displayed.
When the temperature is being adjusted a flashing display indicates the fridge temperature currently set (DESIRED temperature).
Starting Up - Setting the Temperature
1.
Plug the mains plug into the mains socket.
2.
If the display is off, press the ON/OFF button. The appliances start.
3.
Press either the „B“ or „D“ button. The temperature display switches over and the DESIRED temperature currently set flashes on the temperature display.
4.
Set the required temperature by pressing the „B“ or „D“ buttons (see section
"Temperature setting buttons"). The temperature display will immediately show the changed setting. Each time the button is pressed the temperature is adjusted by 1 °C.
From a food safety point of view +5 °C should be considered sufficiently cold for storing food in the fridge.
5.
Once the required temperature has been set, after a short period (approx. 5 sec.) the temperature display will change and again indicate the current
ACTUAL temperature inside the fridge. The display will change from flashing to continuous illumination.
Information!
When the setting is changed, the compressor does not start immediately if automatic defrosting is currently taking place. As the storage temperature within the fridge is reached quickly you can store food immediately after switching on.
COOLMATIC
The COOLMATIC function is suited for quick cooling of large quantities of goods in the refrigerator.
1.
The COOLMATIC function is switched on by pressing the COOLMATIC button. The yellow light illuminates.
The COOLMATIC function now provides for intensive cooling. A DESIRED temperature of +2 °C is automatically selected. The COOLMATIC function is ended automatically after a period of 6 hours.
2.
The COOLMATIC function can be ended manually at any time by pressing the COOLMATIC button again. The yellow light goes out.
Holiday function
The holiday function sets the temperature at +15°C. This function allows you to keep the refrigerator shut and empty during a long holiday period
(e.g. the summer holidays) without the formation of a bad smell.
1.
To turn on the holiday function, press button (B).
2.
Press continuosly button (B) until the letter “H” (Holiday) appears on the temperature indicator. The temperature indicator can modify the displayed temperature up to +8°C, 1° at a tim. 8°C will be followed by the letter “H”.
Now the refrigerator is in the “holiday” function in the energy-saving mode.
The fridge compartment must be empty with holiday function on.
Turning OFF the refrigerator compartment
T o turn off the refrigerator press the button “B” several times until the symbol “OF” appears in the temperature indicator (C). Press the button “B” again for about 5 seconds. In the temperature indicator there is a “count down” i.e. a backward counting from “3” to “1”. When “1” appears the refrigerator is turned off. The temperature indicator switches off.
Interior Accessories
Storage shelves
• You should always slide one of the full size glass storage shelf into the lowest set of guides, above the fruit and the vegetable containers, and keep it in this position.
• The height of the storage shelves can be adjusted:
• To do this pull the storage shelf forward until it can be swivelledupwards or downwards and removed.
• Please do the same in reverse to insert the shelf at a different height.
Adjusting the upper door rack

• Depending on the food stored, the upper door racks can be changed to other holders or removed. Take out the refrigerators food, press the door racks digonally upwards at their edges, reposition them, and press them back into place.

Moisture regulator
There is an adjustable air grille in front of the shelf above the fruit and vegetable compartments. The opening in the ventilation slots can be adjusted with the slider.
Right slider: Ventilation slots opened.
With the ventilation slots open, more air circulation results in a lower air moisture content in the fruit and vegetable compartments.

Left slider: Ventilation slots closed.
When the ventilation slots are closed, the natural moisture content of the food in the fruit and vegetable compartments is preserved for longer.
Drawer
The drawer is suitable for storing fruit and vegetables. There is a separator inside the drawer that can be placed in different positions to allow for the subdivision best suited to personal needs.
There is a grille on the bottom of the drawer to separate the fruit and vegetables from any humidity that may form on the bottom surface.
To remove the drawer, use the side handles (as shown in the drawing). All parts inside the drawer can be removed for cleaning purposes.
Bottle holder
Place the bottles (with the opening facing front) in the pre- positioned shelf.
If the shelf is positioned horizontally, place only closed bottles.
This bottle holder shelf can be tilted in order to store previously opened bottles.
To obtain this result, pull the shelf up so it can rotate upwards and be placed on the next higher level.
Fresh food refrigeration
To obtain the best performance:
• do not store warm food or evaporating liquide in the refrigeator
• do cover or wrap the food, particularly if it has a strong flavour.
• Position food so that air can circuiate freely round it.
Useful hints:
Meat (all types): wrap in polythene bags and place on the glass shelf above the vegetable drawer(s). For safety, store in this way only one or two days at the most.
Cooked foods, cold dishes, etc : these should be covered and may be placed on any shelf.
Fruit and vegetables: these should be thoroughly cleaned and placed in the special drawer(s) provided.
Butter and cheese: these should be placed in special airtight containers or wapped in aluminium foil or polythene bags to exclude as much air as possible.
Milk bottles: these should have a cap and should be stored in the bottle rack on the door.
Bananas, potatoes, onions and garlic, if not packed, must not be kept in the refrigerator.

Set the required temperature by pressing the „I“ or „K“ buttons (see section
"Temperature setting buttons"). The temperature display will immediately show the changed setting. Each time the button is pressed the temperature is adjusted by 1 °C.
From a food safety point of view -18 °C should be considered sufficiently cold for storing food in the freezer.
6.
The alarm light,when the set temperature is reached. Press the alarm button to turn off the buzzer.

FROSTMATIC
The FROSTMATIC function accelerates the freezing of fresh food and, at the same time, protects foodstuffs already stored from undesirable warming.
1.
The FROSTMATIC function is switched on by pressing the FROSTMATIC button. The yellow light illuminates.
If the FROSTMATIC function is not ended manually, the appliance turns off the FROSTMATIC function after about 52 hours. The yellow light goes out.
2.
The FROSTMATIC function can be ended manually at any time by pressing the FROSTMATIC button again. The yellow light goes out.
Alarm reset button
In the event of an abnormal temperature rise inside the freezer (e.g. power cut) warning light (M) will start to flash and a buzzer will sound.
After the temperature has returned to normal, the warning light (M) will continue to flash, although the buzzer has stopped.
When the alarm button is pressed, the warmest temperature reached in the compartment flashes on the indicator.
Turning OFF the freezer compartment
T o turn off the freezer press the button “I” several times until the symbol
“OF” appears in the temperature indicator (K). Press the button “I” again for about 5 seconds. In the temperature indicator there is a “count down” i.e. a backward counting from “3” to “1”. When “1” appears the freezer is turned off. The temperature indicator switches off.
Switching the Appliance off
To switch off, push the ON/OFF button. The temperature display will go off.
Note:
The appliance cannot be switched on or off if unplugged, or if there is no power being supplied to it. Following connection to the mains power supply, the appliance returns to the same operating state as before the interruption of main power.
If the appliance is not going to be used for an extended period:
1.
Turn off the appliance (please see the above point 1).
2.
Remove the mains plug or switch off or turn out the circuit breaker or fuse.
3.
Defrost the freezer compartment and clean the appliance thoroughly (see section: “Cleaning and Maintenance”).

Freezing and storing frozen food
You can use your freezer for freezing fresh food yourself.
Important!
• The temperature in the freezer compartment must be –18 °C or colder before freezing food.
• Please observe the freezing capacity given on the rating plate. The freezing capacity is the maximum quantity of fresh food that can be frozen within a period of 24 hours. If you wish to freeze food several days in a row, please observe a maximum capacity of only 2/3 to 3/4 of that on the rating plate. The quality of the food is best preserved when it is frozen right through to the core as quickly as possible.
• Allow warm food to cool down before freezing. The warmth will cause increased ice formation and increase the power consumption.
• Please note the maximum storage times specified by the manufacturer.
• Thawed foods which have not been processed further (cooked into meals) may not under any circumstances be frozen a second time.
• Containers with flammable gases or liquids can leak at low temperatures.
There is a risk of an explosion! Do not store any containers with flammable materials such as, for example, spray cans, fire extinguisher refill cartridges etc in the refrigerator/freezer.
• Bottles and cans must not be placed in the freezer. They can burst when the contents freeze, high carbonate content drinks can even explode!
Never store lemonade, juices, beer, wine, sparkling wine etc. in the freezer. Exception: high alcohol content spirits can be stored in the freezer.
• All foods must be packed air tight prior to freezing, so that they do not dry out or lose their flavour, and so that no flavour contamination of other frozen goods occurs.
Caution!
Do not touch frozen food with wet hands. Your hands could freeze to the food.

Preparation of Ice Cubes
1. Fill the ice cube tray 3/4 full with cold water, place it in the freezer compartment and leave to freeze.
2.
To loosen the frozen cubes, either bend the ice cube tray or hold it under running water for a few seconds.
Important!
Never try to free an ice tray that is frozen to the freezer compartment using pointed or sharp edged objects. Use the ice scraper supplied.
Freezing Calendar
• The symbols on the drawers show different types of frozen goods.
• The numbers indicate storage times in months for the appropriate types of frozen goods. Whether the upper or lower value of the indicated storage time is valid depends on the quality of the foods and pre-treating before freezing. The lower value applies to foods with high fat content.
Ice packs
There are two ice packs in one drawer of the freezer.
In the event of a power failure or malfunction, the ice pack will lengthen the amount of time it takes for the frozen food to become too warm by several hours. The ice pack can only fulfil this task optimally if it is placed in the uppermost drawer, at the front, above the frozen food. You can use the ice pack for cooling cold bags.
Defrosting
Refrigerator
Frost is automatically eliminated from the evaporator of the refrigerator compartment every time the motor compressor stops, during normal use.
The defrost water drains out through a trough into a special container at the back of the appliance, over the motor compressor, where it evaporates.
Freezer
The freezer compartment, however, will become progrssively covered with frost. This should be removed with the special plastic scraper provided, whenever the tickness of the frost exceeds 4 mm. During this operation it is not necessary to switch off the power supply or to remove the foodstuffs.
However when the ice becomes very thick on the inner liner, complete defrosting should be carried out as follows:
1.
Remove the frozen food from the freezer, wrap it in several layers of newspaper and put it in a very cool place.
2.
Switch off the appliance and pull out the plug, or remove or unscrew the safety fuses.
3.
Leave the freezer compartment door open.
4.
Insert the plastic scraper into the recess provided under the defrost water channel and place a collecting basin under it.

5.
Once defrosting is completed keep the scraper for future use;
6.
Turn the thermostat knob to the required setting or replace the plug in the power socket.
Warning!
Never use metal tools to scrape off the frost
Do not use a mechanical device or any artificial means to speed up the thawing process other than those recommended by the manufacturer.
A temperature rise of the frozen food packs, during defrosting , may shorten their safe storage life.

Cleaning and Care
For hygienic reasons the appliance interior, including interior accessories, should be cleaned regularly.
Warning!
• The appliance may not be connected to the mains during cleaning. Danger of electrical shock! Before cleaning switch the appliance offand rem ve the plug from the mains, or switch off or turn out the circuit breaker or fuse.
• Never clean the appliance with a steam cleaner. Moisture could accumulate in electrical components, danger of electrical shock! Hot vapours can lead to the damage of plastic parts.
• The appliance must be dry before it is placed back into service.
Attention!
• Ethereal oils and organic solvents can attack plastic parts, e.g.
– lemon juice or the juice from orange peals;
– butyric acid;
– cleansers which contain acetic acid.
Do not allow such substances to come into contact with appliance parts.
• Do not use any abrasive cleansers.

Remove frozen food and the food from the refrigerator. Wrap frozen food in several layers of newspaper. Store it in a cool place, well covered.
2.
Defrost the freezer compartment prior to cleaning (see "Defrosting" section).
3.
Switch the appliance off and remove the plug from the mains, or switch off or turn out the circuit breaker or fuse.
4.
Clean the appliance and the interior accessories with a cloth and lukewarm water. Commercially available dish washing detergents may also be used.
5.
After cleaning wipe with fresh water and rub dry.
Accumulation of dust at the condenser increases energy consumption. For this reason carefully clean the condenser at the back of the appliance once a year with a soft brush or a vacuum cleaner.
6.
Check the water drain hole on the rear wall of the fridge. Clear a blocked drain hole with the aid of the green peg in the pack of accessories included with the appliance.
7.
After everything is dry place appliance back into service.

Energy Saving Tips
• Do not install the appliance near cookers, radiators or other sources of warmth. High ambient temperatures cause longer, more frequent operation of the compressor.
• Ensure sufficient air circulation and exhaust at the appliance base and at the back wall of the appliance. Never cover air vent openings.
• Do not place warm foods into the appliance. Allow warm foods to cool first.
• Only leave door open as long as necessary.
• Do not set temperature any colder than necessary.
• Put frozen food in the fridge to defrost. The cold in the frozen food will then be used to cool the fridge.
• Keep the heat emitting condenser, the metall grille on the rear wall of your appliance, always clean.

Correcting Malfunctions
A malfunction may be caused by only a minor fault that you can rectify yourself using the following instructions. Do not perform any other work on the appliance if the following information does not provide assistance in your specific case.

Changing the light bulb
Warning!

Unplug the mains plug.

To change the light bulb press on the rear hook and at the same time slide the cover in the direction indicated by the arrow.

Change the defective light bulb with one of the some power (the maximum power is shown on the light diffuser).

Refit the light bulb cover.
6.
Put the refrigerator back into operation.

Segurança
A segurança dos nossos aparelhos frigoríficos corresponde aos regulamentos técnicos vigentes e à lei sobre a segurança de aparelhos. Contudo, sentimonos na obrigação de lhe dar a conhecer as seguintes indicações de segurança:
Utilização conforme às disposições
• O aparelho frigorífico destina-se ao uso doméstico. Ele serve para refrigerar e congelar alimentos e para guardar produtos congelados, bem como para preparar gelo. Se o aparelho for utilizado para outros fins ou operado incorrectamente, o fabricante não assume qualquer responsabilidade pelos danos eventuais.
• Não é permitido efectuar remodelações ou alterações no aparelho frigorífico, por razões de segurança.
• Se utilizar o aparelho frigorífico para fins comerciais ou para outros fins além da refrigeração e congelação de alimentos e do armazenamento de produtos congelados, é favor observar as prescrições legais vigentes na sua zona.
Antes da primeira colocação em funcionamento
• Verifique se o aparelho frigorífico apresenta danos de transporte. Não colocar, de modo algum, aparelhos danificados em funcionamento! Em caso de danos, é favor dirigir-se aos fornecedores.
Agente de refrigeração
O aparelho contém, no circuito de refrigeração, o agente de refrigeração isobutano (R600a), um gás natural altamente compatível com o meio ambiente, mas que é, contudo, inflamável.
• Ao transportar e instalar o aparelho, preste atenção para que nenhuma das peças do circuito de refrigeração seja danificada.
• Se o circuito de refrigeração for danificado:
– É indispensável evitar fogo aberto e fontes de inflamação;
– Arejar bem o compartimento em que se encontra o aparelho.
Segurança das crianças
• Os elementos de embalagem (p. ex. folhas, esferovite) podem ser perigosos para as crianças. Perigo de asfixia! Manter os materiais de embalagem fora do alcance das crianças!
• Antes da remoção de aparelhos usados sem conserto, é favor inutilizá los.
Retirar a ficha de ligação à rede da tomada, desmontar o cabo de ligação
à rede, retirar ou destruir eventuais fechaduras de mola ou de ferrolho.
Evitará, assim, que quaisquer crianças se fechem por brincadeira no aparelho (perigo de asfixia!) ou que se exponham a quaisquer outras situações em que possam correr perigo de vida.
• Este aparelho não se destina a ser utilizado por pessoas (incluindo crianças) com capacidades mentais, sensoriais e físicas reduzidas, ou com falta de experiência e conhecimento, a não ser que sejam supervisionadas ou recebam instruções relativamente à utilização do aparelho, por parte de uma pessoa responsável pela sua segurança. As crianças devem ser supervisionadas para garantir que não brincam com o electrodoméstico.
No funcionamento diário
• Recipientes que contenham gases ou líquidos inflamáveis, podem tornarse permeáveis por acção do frio. Perigo de explosão! Não guarde no aparelho frigorífico recipientes com latas de spray, recargas para isqueiros, etc.
• Garrafas e latas não podem ser colocadas no congelador. Elas podem estalar quando o seu conteúdo congela - se o seu conteúdo incluir gás, elas podem até explodir! Nunca coloque laranjadas, sumos, cerveja, vinho, champanhe, etc., no congelador. Excepção: bebidas com elevado teor de álcool podem ser postas no congelador.
• Não meter na boca gelado nem cubos de gelo acabados de sair do congelador. O gelado ou gelo muito frio pode ficar agarrado aos lábios ou à língua e causar ferimentos.
• Não pegar nos produtos congelados com as mãos molhadas. As mãos poderiam congelar e ficar agarradas aos produtos.
• Não operar aparelhos eléctricos (p. ex. máquinas eléctricas de fazer gelados, batedeiras eléctricas) no aparelho frigorífico.
• Antes de iniciar trabalhos de limpeza, desligar sempre o aparelho e retirar a ficha da tomada ou desconectar o fusível da casa.
• Para retirar a ficha da tomada, puxar a ficha e não o cabo.
Em caso de avarias
• Se algum dia o aparelho tiver uma avaria, consulte primeiro o capí-tulo
"O que fazer, se ..." destas instruções de utilização. Se as indicações contidas neste capítulo não oferecerem uma solução para o problema, é favor não proceder a outros trabalhos por sua conta.
• Os aparelhos frigoríficos só podem ser reparados por pessoal especi-alizado. Reparações impróprias podem dar origem a perigos graves. Sendo necessário efectuar reparações, dirija-se à casa especializada mais próxima ou ao nosso serviço de assistência técnica.

Informações sobre a embalagem do aparelho
Todos os materiais utilizados são compatíveis com o meio-ambiente! Eles podem ser depositados numa lixeira ou queimados numa instalação de incineração de lixo, sem perigo!
Quanto aos materiais: os plásticos são recicláveis e estão marcados da seguinte forma:
>PE< para polietileno, p. ex. nos invólucros exteriores e nos sacos que se encontram no interior.
>PS< para poliestireno, p. ex. nas peças utilizadas para almofadar, por princípio sem hidrocarboneto clorofluorado.
As peças de cartão são fabricadas à base de papel reciclado e deveriam ser novamente entregues num posto de recolha de papel reciclável.
Remoção de aparelhos usados
Por questões de protecção do meio-ambiente, os aparelhos frigoríficos têm que ser removidos de forma controlada. Isto é válido para o aparelho que usou até à data e - um dia, depois de servir o seu tempo - para o seu novo aparelho.
Aviso!
É favor inutilizar os aparelhos usados sem conserto, antes de proceder à sua remoção controlada. Retirar a ficha de ligação à rede da tomada, desmontar o cabo de ligação à rede, retirar ou destruir eventuais fechaduras de mola ou de ferrolho. Evitará, assim, que quaisquer cri-anças se fechem por brincadeira no aparelho (perigo de asfixia!) ou que se exponham a quaisquer outras situações em que possam correr perigo de vida.
Indicações relativas à remoção controlada:
• O aparelho não pode ser removido juntamente com o lixo caseiro nem pelo serviço de recolha de móveis e utensílios domésticos usados.
• O circuito de refrigeração, especialmente o permutador térmico situ-ado na parte de trás do aparelho, não pode ser danificado.
• O símbolo no produto ou na embalagem indica que este produto não pode ser tratado como lixo doméstico. Em vez disso, deve ser entregue ao centro de recolha selectiva para a reciclagem de equipamento eléctrico e electrónico. Ao garantir uma eliminação adequada deste produto, irá ajudar a evitar eventuais consequências negativas para o meio ambiente e para a saúde pública, que, de outra forma, poderiam ser provocadas por um tratamento incorrecto do produto.
Para obter informações mais pormenorizadas sobre a reciclagem deste produto, contacte os serviços municipalizados locais, o centro de recolha selectiva da sua área de residência ou o estabelecimento onde adquiriu o produto.
Remoção da protecção de transporte
Tanto o aparelho como algumas das peças do equipamento interior são protegidos para o transporte.
• Remover todas as fitas adesivas, bem como as peças de almofadar, do interior do aparelho.
Instalação
Local de instalação
O aparelho deverá ser instalado num local seco e bem arejado.
A temperatura ambiente influencia o consumo de energia eléctrica e o bom funcionamento do aparelho. Por isso, o aparelho
– não deveria ser exposto à radiação directa do sol;
– não deveria ser instalado perto de radiadores, ao lado de um fogão nem de outras fontes de calor;
– só deveria ser instalado num local com uma temperatura ambiente correspondente à classe climática para a qual o aparelho foi concebido.
A classe climática é indicada na placa de características, situada à esquerda no interior do aparelho.
A tabela seguinte mostra a temperatura ambiente correspondente a cada classe climática:

Se a instalação ao lado de uma fonte de calor não puder ser evitada, terão que se respeitar os seguintes intervalos laterais mínimos:
– em relação a fogões e aquecedores eléctricos 3 cm;
– em relação a aquecedores a óleo e a carvão 30 cm.
Se estes intervalos não puderem ser respeitados, é necessário instalar uma placa isotérmica entre o fogão/aquecedor e o aparelho frigorífico.

Colocação
Coloque o aparelho longe de qualquer fonte de calor (aquecimento, fogões, ou raios solares demasiado intensos).Verifique que nas parses posterior, superior e inferior o ar pode circular livremente. Para um melhor funcionamento verifique que a parse superior têm pelo menos 100 mm de distancia de algum móvel sus-
NP00 penso por cima do aparelho (A).
A solução preferível é indicada na Fig. B (sem móvel). Um ou vários pés niveladores situados na base têm a função de nivelar o aparelho correctamente.O aparelho deve poder ser desligado da rede; uma vez realizada a instalação, portanto, é necessário que a ficha fique acessível.
Espaçadores posteriores
No interior do aparelho, existem dois separadores que devem ser instalados conforme ilustrado.
Desapertar os parafusos, inserir o espaçador debaixo da cabeça do parafuso e voltar a apertar.

Aparafusar o estribo superior do puxador à haste do puxador (1).
Inserir o estribo inferior do puxador no lado inferior esquerdo da porta. (2).

Inserir o estribo superior do puxador no lado superior esquerdo da porta

Atenção!
Não apertar demasiado os parafusos (máx. 2 Nm) para não danificar os puxadores da porta.

Antes de qualquer operação tire a ficha da tomada de corrente.

Desaparafuse o suporte superior da pega da barra da pega (1). Desaparafuse, da porta, o suporte inferior da pega (2). Desaparafuse o suporte superior da pega da porta (3) e enrosque-o na porta do lado inferior direito (4).
Rode o suporte da pega com a barra em 180° e enrosque-os na porta (5) e no suporte da pega montado (6). 1 Cuidado!
Não aperte demasiado os parafusos (no máx. 2 Nm) paranão danificar as pegas.
Atenção
Depois de mudar o lado de abertura da porta, verificar se todos os parafusos estão bem apertados e se o fecho magnético adere ao armário.
Quando a temperatura ambiente é baixa (p. ex. Inverno), a vedação pode não encaixar totalmente no armário. Nesse caso, esperar que esta encaixe naturalmente ou acelerar este processo aquecendo essa parte com um secador de cabelo.
Esperar, no mínimo, uma hora e depois ligar à corrente eléctrica.
Ligação eléctrica
Para a ligação eléctrica é necessária uma tomada com contacto de segurança, devidamente instalada. A protecção eléctrica por fusível terá que perfazer, no mínimo, 10 amperes.
Se, depois de instalado o aparelho, não se tiver mais acesso à tomada, terá que se tomar uma providência adequada na instalação eléctrica que permita desligar o aparelho da rede (p. ex. fusível, interruptor protector de linha, interruptor de corrente de defeito ou semelhantes, com uma abertura de contactos de, pelo menos, 3 mm).
• Antes da colocação em funcionamento, verificar se os valores da rede eléctrica do local de instalação correspondem à tensão de conexão e ao tipo de corrente indicados na placa de características.
P. ex.: AC 230 ... 240 V 50 Hz ou
230 ... 240 V~50 Hz
(isto é, corrente alternada de 230 a 240 Volt, 50 Hertz)

Teclas para a regulação da temperatura
A regulação da temperatura efectua-se através dos teclas „+“ (MAIS QUEN-
TE) e „-“ (MAIS FRIO).
Estas teclas estão ligadas ao indicador da temperatura.
• Premindo-se uma das teclas „+“ (MAIS QUENTE) ou „-“ (MAIS FRIO), o indicador da temperatura comuta da temperatura REAL (indicação de temperatura acesa) para a temperatura TEÓRICA (indicação de temperatura a piscar).
• De cada vez que uma destas teclas é premida, a temperatura TEÓRICA avança mais em 1 °C.
• Não sendo premida nenhuma tecla, o indicador da temperatura comuta automaticamente para a temperatura REAL, após um breve período de tempo (aprox. 5 seg.).
Temperatura TEÓRICA significa:
Temperatura que deve haver no frigorífico ou no congelador. A temperaturateórica é indicada por algarismos a piscar.
Temperatura REAL significa:
A indicação de temperatura mostra a temperatura momentânea, realmenteexistente no frigorífico ou no congelador. A temperatura real éindicada por algarismos acesos de forma constante.
Indicador da temperatura
O indicador da temperatura pode mostrar várias informações.
• Durante o funcionamento normal, é indicada a temperatura actualmente existente no frigorífico (temperatura REAL).
• Durante a regulação da temperatura, é indicada, de forma intermitente, a temperatura regulada no momento (temperatura TEÓRICA).
• Se houver uma avaria no aparelho, aparece no indicador da temperatura:
– um rectângulo na parte superior do indicador da temperatura quando a avaria diz respeito ao compartimento frigorífico,
Antes de colocar o aparelho em funcionamento
Antes de conectar o aparelho à rede eléctrica e utilizá-lo pela primeira vez, caso o mesmo tenha sido transportado na posição vertical, deixe-o de pé por 30 minutos. Se ele, porém, tiver sido transportado na posição horizontal (deitado), deixe-o de pé, antes de utilizá-lo, por 4 horas, afim de que o
óleo possa retornar ao compressor. Caso contrário, o compressor pode vir a ser danificado.
1. Por favor, antes do primeiro uso, limpe o interior e todas as peças do aparelho (vide capítulo “Limpeza e conservação").
2. Retirar o acumulador de frio do tabuleiro de congelar ou da gaveta superior.
3. Só colocar o acumulador de frio numa prateleira/gaveta para congelar, depois de ter sido alcançada a temperatura de armazenamento ideal de -18
°C, deixando-o congelar.
4. Após cerca de 24 horas, colocar, então, o acumulador de frio na parte da frente do tabuleiro ou em uma gaveta.
5. Congelar do mesmo modo o acumulador de frio descongelado, p. ex., depois de limpar o aparelho.
Colocação em funcionamento
O frigorífico e o congelador podem funcionar e ser regulados independentemente um do outro.
1. Encaixar a ficha de ligação à rede na tomada.
Colocação do frigorífico em funcionamento
1. Premira tecla LIGA/DESLIGA do frigorífico.
A indi-cação da temperatura visualiza a temperatura realdo frigorífico. Um alarme sonoro é entoado e a indicação vermelha de alarme sinaliza, através de luz intermitente, que a temperatura necessária ainda não foialcançada.

2. Para desligar o alarme sonoro, premer a tecla DESLIGA ALARME.
3. Regular a temperatura desejada para o frigorífico (ver capítulo "Regulação da temperatura").
Uma vez que o frigorífico alcança rapidamente a temperatura desejada, poderá guardar géneros alimentícios logo após a ligação.
Regulação da temperatura
Com o respectivo regulador da temperatura, é possível regular separadamente a temperatura desejada para o frigorífico.
0 1. Prima uma dos teclas „+“ (MAIS QUENTE) ou „-“ (MAIS FRIO).
A indicação da temperatura comuta e indica de forma intermitente a temperatura TEÓRICA actualmente regulada.
2. Para regular uma temperatura mais elevada, prima a tecla „+“ (MAIS
QUENTE). Para regular uma temperatura mais baixa, prima a tecla „-“ (MAIS
FRIO). O indicador da temperatura mostra imediatamente a temperatura alterada.
De cada vez que a tecla é premida, a temperatura avança mais em 1 °C.
Nota: Do ponto de vista científico, é suficiente uma temperatura de +5 °C para a câmara frigorífica e -18 °C para o armazenamento de produtos congelados.
Se as teclas não voltarem a ser premidas, depois de concluída a regu-lação da temperatura, o indicador da temperatura comuta após um breve período de tempo (aprox. 5 seg.) e mostra novamente a temperatura REAL, actualmente existente no frigorífico.
O compressor é ligado, funcionando automaticamente.
Nota: Ao modificar-se o ajuste, o compressor não entra imediatamente em funcionamento, caso o descongelamento automático esteja em execução.
Importante! Verifique se a temperatura de armazenamento é mantida, controlando regularmente o indicador de alarme vermelho e o indicador da temperatura.
COOLMATIC
Tecla COOLMATIC
A função COOLMATIC destina-se à refrigeração rápida de maiores quantidades de alimentos no frigorífico, como p. ex. bebidas e saladas, por ocasião de uma festa.
1. A função COOLMATIC é activada, preminda-se a tecla COOLMATIC. O indicador amarelo acende-se.
A função COOLMATIC proporciona agora uma refrigeração intensiva.
Para tal, é ajustada automaticamente uma temperatura TEÓRICA de +2 °C.
Após 6 horas, a função COOLMATIC desactiva-se automaticamente.
A temperatura TEÓRICA anteriormente regulada é de novo adoptada e a indicação da temperatura visualiza novamente a temperatura momentânea do frigorífico.
2. A função COOLMATIC pode ser desactivada manualmente em qualquer altura, executando novamente, pela mesma ordem, os passos acima descritos para a ligação da função COOLMATIC.
Descrição do aparelho
O frigorífico e o congelador podem desligar independentemente um do outro.
1. Para desligar o aparelho, manter a tecla LIGAR/DESLIGAR premido durante cerca de 5 segundos. A indicação da temperatura executa um "Count down", contando por ordem decrescente de "3" a "1". Ao chegar a "1" o aparelho desliga-se. A lâmpada da indicação da temperatura apagase.
Nota:
O ajuste do aparelho não pode ser modificado com a ficha fora da tomada ou se houver falta de energia eléctrica.
Após a ligação à rede, o aparelho retoma o estado em que se encon-trava antes de ser desligado da corrente.
Se pretender pôr o aparelho fora de serviço por um período de tempo mais prolongado:
1. Desligar o aparelho premindo, para tal, a tecla LIGAR/DESLIGAR durante cerca de 5 segundos.
2. Retirar a ficha de ligação à rede da tomada ou desconectar o fusível.
3. Descongelar o congelador e limpár o aparelho a fundo (ver capítulo
"Limpeza e conservação").
4. Deixar, por fim, as portas abertas para evitar maus cheiros.

Regime de férias
No regime de férias, a temperatura TEÓRICA do frigorífico é regulada para
+15 °C. Este regime permite-lhe deixar o frigorífico vazio fechado, em vez de aberto, - sem que se verifique uma formação de cheiros ou de bolor durante uma ausência mais prolongada (p. ex. férias). Vanta-gem: a porta não poderá, assim, fechar-se acidentalmente ou ser fechada, por descuido, por pessoas que tenham eventualmente acesso à casa, durante a sua ausência. Sem o regime de férias, isso daria origem à formação de cheiros e de bolor.
1. Para activar o regime de férias, premir a tecla „+“ (MAIS QUENTE) ou a tecla „-“ (MAIS FRIO). A indicação de temperatura é comutada e mostra, a piscar, a temperatura teórica actualmente ajustada.
2. Premir a tecla „+“ (MAIS QUENTE) por tanto tempo, até que a indicação de temperatura indique H (Holiday). A temperatura indicada muda até +8
°C em passos de 1 °C. Após +8 °C, vem o valor +15 °C e na indicação é mostrada a letra H. Agora o frigorífico encontra-se em regime de férias, que proporciona uma economia de energia.
3 Para colocar novamente o compartimento frigorífico em modo de funcionamento normal, carregue na tecla „-“ (MAIS FRIO).
Atenção! Não coloque produtos no frigorífico enquanto ele estiver a funcionar no regime de férias. Neste modo de funcionamento, a temperatura é regulada para cerca de +15 °C. Esta temperatura é demasi-ado elevada para géneros alimentícios.
Acessorios internos
Posicionamento das prateleiras
• A prateleira inteira em cima das gavetas de verdura/fruta deve permanecer sempre nesta posição para manter mais frescas a verdura e a fruta no tempo.
As outras prateleiras são reguláveis na altura:
• Para tal, puxar a prateleira para a frente até que seja possível deslocála para cima ou para baixo e retirála.
• A introdução em outra altura é efetuada em sentido contrário.

Posicionamento das prateleiras na porta
• Conforme as necessidades, os compartimento de prateleira na porta podem ser extraidos para cima e portanto inseridos em outros apoios.
Controle de umidade
Na prateleira de vidro està instalado um dispositivo com fendas (reguláveis através de uma alavanca corrediça), que permite de regular a temperatura no espaço da gaveta de verduras.
Com as fendas fechadas será obtida uma temperatura mais quentefria e major umidade. Com as fendas abertas será obtida uma temperatura mais fria e menos umidade.

Gaveta
A gaveta é apropriada para conservar fruta e verdura. Dentro da gaveta há um separador que pode ser colocado em várias posições para criar subcompartimentos a fim de satisfazer melhor as próprias necessidades.
Uma grade no fundo da gaveta permite de separar a fruta e a verdura da humidade que pode-se formar na superfície do fundo.
Para remover a gaveta use as alças laterais (conforme indicado no desenho). Todas as partes dentro da gaveta podem ser removidas para a limpeza.

Refrigeração dos alimentos
Para obter um melhor rendimento do seu aparelho: reparta as provisões de maneira a que o ar possa circular, facilmente, à volta delas; não introduza, na caixa, alimentos ainda quentes ou líquidos em evaporação; cubra os alimentos, de especial modo se são aromáticos;
Conselhos para a refrigeração
Carne (de qualquer tipo): envolva esses alimentos em sacos plásticos e coloque-as na divisão imediatamente acima das caixas para legumes.
O período de conservação é de 1 a 2 dias, no máximo.
Alimentos cozidos, pratos frios, etc: coloque-os, bem cobertos, numa prateleira qualquer.
Frutas e legumes: nas caixas de legumes depois de lavados.
Bananas, batatas, cebola e alho, se não forem preparados, não se conservam no refrigerador.

Espere que o congelador tenha alcançado a temperatura de -18 °C ou que a luz da indicação de alarme vermelha se apague, antes de meter géneros alimentícios no congelador.

2. Esta função pode ser desactivada manualmente em qualquer altura, premindo-se novamente a tecla FROSTMATIC. O indicador amarelo apaga-se.
Se a função FROSTMATIC não for desactivada manualmente, o sistema electrónico do aparelho desactiva-a automaticamente após 52 horas.
O indicador amarelo apaga-se.

Botão de restauração alarme
No caso de um aumento anormal da temperatura interna do congelador (p.
ex. falta de corrente) a luz de aviso (M) iniciará a lampejar e será activado um sinal sonoro.
Depois que a temperatura voltar ao normal, a luz de aviso continuará a lampejar mesmo se o sinal sonoro tenha se desligado.
Carregando o botão de alarme, a temperatura mais quente atingida no compartimento lampejará no indicador.
Como desligar o compartimento congelado
r.
Para desligar o congelador carregue o botão "J" algumas vezes até o símbolo "OFF" aparecer no indicador de temperatura (I). Carregue novamente o botão "J" durante 5 segundos. No indicador de temperatura há um "count down", isto é, um contador em sentido contrário de "3" a "1". O frigorífico está desligado quando aparece o número "1". O indicador de temperatura se apaga.
Como desligar o aparelho
Para desligar o aparelho mantenha carregado o botão ON/OFF durante cerca de 5 segundos. Esta operação produzirá uma contagem regressiva de "3" até "1" exibido no écrã temperatura. Depois de chegar a "1" o frigorífico desliga. O écrã de temperatura apaga.
Nota:
O aparelho não pode ser ligado ou desligado se a tomada estiver desligada, ou se não for fornecida a corrente. Restabelecida a conexão à rede eléctrica, o aparelho voltará ao mesmo estado de funcionamento que estava antes da interrupção.
Se o aparelho não for usado durante um longo período:
1.Desligue o aparelho (ver acima o item 1).
2.Desligue a tomada ou o interruptor ou fusível.
3.Descongele o compartimento congelador e limpe profundamente o aparelho (ver a seção: "Limpeza e Manutenção").
4.Enfim, deixe a porta aberta para evitar a formação de maus cheiros.

Congelar e armazenamento de produtos congelados
O congelador é destinado à congelação de alimentos frescos e à conservação a longo prazo de alimentos congelados
Atenção!
• Antes de se congelarem géneros alimentícios, a temperatura do congelador tem de ser de -18 ° C ou ainda mais fria.
• É favor respeitar a capacidade de congelaç ã o indicada na placa de características. A capacidade de congelaç ã o é a quantidade máxima de produtos frescos que pode ser congelada dentro de um período de 24 horas.
Se pretender congelar alimentos em vários dias seguidos, congele apenas entre 2/3 a 3/4 da quantidade indicada na placa de características.
• Não congelar, de modo algum, uma segunda vez géneros alimentícios já descongelados, sem que tenham sido previamente preparados (cozinhados).
• Recipientes que contenham gases ou líquidos inflamáveis, podem tornarse permeáveis por acção do frio. Perigo de explosão! Não guarde no aparelho frigorífico recipientes com latas de spray, recargas para isqueiros, etc.
• Garrafas e latas não podem ser colocadas no congelador. Elas podem estalar quando o seu conteúdo congela - se o seu conteúdo incluir gás, elas podem até explodir! Nunca coloque laranjadas, sumos, cerveja, vinho, champanhe, etc., no congelador. Excepção: bebidas com elevado teor de álcool podem ser postas no congelador.
• Antes de congelar, embalar todos os alimentos hermeticamente para que não sequem, não percam o seu sabor e não tomem o gosto de outros produtos congelados.
Cuidado!
Não pegar nos produtos congelados com as mãos molhadas. As mãos poderiam congelar e ficar agarradas aos produtos.
1.
Colocar os alimentos embalados nas gavetas. Os produtos não congelados não devem entrar em contacto com os produtos já congelados, caso contrário os produtos congelados poderão descongelar ligeiramente.
2.
Guardar, se possível, os produtos congelados nas gavetas, separando os de acordo com o seu tipo. Alguns modelos possuem marcadores para encaixar nas gavetas. Para marcar o conteúdo das diferentes prateleiras, encaixar os marcadores por cima do respectivo símbolo (ver capítulo "Símbolos de congelados/Calendário de congelador"). Temse, assim, uma melhor visão de conjunto, evitase uma abertura prolongada da porta e poupase energia.
Massa eutéctica
O seu aparelho ésta provido de due massea eutéctica. A massa deve ser retirada do compartimento congelador e colocada na posição prevista.
Em caso de interrupção da corrente, a massa eutéctica vai prolongar de algumas horas a conservação dos produtos congelados.
O aparelho deve poder ser desligado da rede; uma vez realizada a instalação, portanto, é necessário que a ficha fique acessível.
Calendário de congelamento
• Os simbolos nas gavetas indicam diferentes tipos de produtos congelados.
• Os números fornecem, em meses, o tempo de armazenamento para o respectivo tipo de produto congelado. Se o valor válido do tempo de armazenamento indicado é o superior ou o inferior, depende da qualidade do género alimenticio e da sua preparação antes do congelamento.
Preparação de cubos de gelo

Encher a cuvete de gelo com àgua até 3/4, colocála no tabuleiro de congelar ou numa gaveta do congelador e deixar congelar.
Para tirar os cubos de gelo, torcer ligeiramente a cuvete ou colocá-la por um instante sob àgua corrente.
Atenção! Se a cuvete de gelo ficar presa ao tabuleiro de congelar ou à gaveta, não utilizar objectos pontiagudos ou angulosos para a soltar.
Descongelar
O frigorífico
Uma vez que a maior incidência de humidade tem lugar quando se abre a porta, a frequência das fases de descongelação é determinada pelo número de vezes que se abre a porta e pelo tempo que se mantém a porta aberta. A água de condensação é recolhida na calha de escoamento, situada na parede posterior do frigorífico, é conduzida através do orifício de escoamento para o recipiente de recolha do compressor e é aqui evaporada.

O congelador
Durante o funcionamento e ao abrir a porta deposita-se humidade em forma de geada no congelador, principalmente em cima, no centro.
Remova esta geada de tempos a tempos com uma raspadeira macia de plástico, como p. ex. uma rapadeira de massa. Não utilizar, de modo algum, objectos duros ou pontiagudos para esse fim.
Deve-se descongelar quando a camada de geada atingir uma espessura de aproximadamente 4 milímetros; mas, pelo menos, uma vez por ano.

Retire todos os alimentos e envolvaos em varias folhas de papel de jornal e coloque-os no lugar mais frio que possuir. Desligar o aparelho.
2.
Deixe a porta do compartimento aberta.
3.
Coloque o raspador na parte central inferior, como se indica na figura e coloque por baixo um recipiente para a água de descongelação escorrer.
4.
Depois desta operação conserve o raspador de plástico para utiliza-lo futuramente, e se-tue o congelador cuidadosamente

Ligue o aparelho na posição de congelação rápida. Passadas três horas, o congelador está pronto para conservar os alimentos.
Atenção!
Recomenda-se a não empregar objectos metálicos para tirar o gelo, para evitar graves prejuízos ao aparelho.
Não utilizar aparelhos eléctricos de aquecimento nem outros meios mecânicos ou artificiais auxiliares para acelerar o processo de descongelação, exceptuando os que são recomendados nestas instruções de utilização.
Um aumento de temperatura nos alimentos durante a remoção do gelo pode diminuir o tempo de conservação dos alimentos. Nunca utilize instrumentos pontiagudos para retirar o gelo, pois pode danificar o congelador.
Descrição do aparelho
Se pretender pôr o aparelho fora de serviço por um período de tempo mais prolongado:

Limpeza e conservação
Por uma questão de higiene, o interior do aparelho e o seu equipa-mento interior deveriam ser limpos regularmente.
Aviso!
• Durante a limpeza, o aparelho não pode estar ligado à rede. Perigo de choque eléctrico! Antes de iniciar os trabalhos de limpeza, desligar o aparelho e retirar a ficha da tomada ou desligar o fusível.
• Nunca limpar o aparelho com aparelhos de limpeza a vapor. Poderia penetrar humidade nos componentes eléctricos: perigo de choque eléctrico! O vapor quente poderia danificar as peças de plástico.
• O aparelho tem de estar seco quando voltar a colocá-lo em funcionamento.
Atenção!
•Ó leos etéreos e solventes orgânicos podem corroer as peças de plástico, p.
ex.
– Sumo da casca de limão ou de laranja;
– Ácido butírico;
– Detergentes com ácido acético.
Não deixar que estas substâncias entrem em contacto com as peças do aparelho.
• Não utilizar detergentes abrasivos.

Desligar o aparelho e retirar a ficha da tomada ou desconectar o fusível.

Limpar o aparelho e o seu equipamento interior com um pano e água morna. Juntar, eventualmente, um pouco de detergente da louça.
4.
Em seguida, limpar novamente com água limpa.

Controlar o orifício de escoamento da água de descongelaçã o na parede posterior do frigorífico. Se o orifício de escoamento da água estiver entupido, desentupilo com o auxílio de um arame.
Grandes camadas de pó no liquefactor reduzem a capacidade frigorífica e aumentam o consumo de energia. Por isso, limpar uma vez por ano o liquefactor, na parte de trás do aparelho, com uma escova macia ou com o aspirador.

Depois de estar tudo seco, ligar novamente o aparelho.

Conselhos práticos para poupar energia
• Não instalar o aparelho nas proximidades de fogões, aquecimentos ou de outras fontes de calor. Com uma temperatura ambiente elevada o compressor trabalha mais frequentemente e por períodos de tempo mais prolongados.
• Assegurar uma ventilaçã o e evacuaçã o de ar suficientes na base e na parte de trás do aparelho. Nunca tapar os orifícios de ventilação.
• Não colocar alimentos quentes no aparelho. Esperar que os alimentos arrefeçam.
• Deixar a porta aberta apenas o tempo estritamente necessário.
• Não regular uma temperatura mais fria do que o necessário.
• Colocar os produtos congelados na parte frigorífica para os descon-gelar.
O frio dos produtos congelados é, assim, aproveitado para refrescar a parte frigorífica.
• Manter o liquefactor, situado na parte de trás do aparelho, sempre limpo.

Soluções para a eliminaçã o de falhas
Caso surja uma avaria, tratase provavelmente de uma pequena falha que poderá ser reparada por si com o auxílio das indicações seguintes. Não execute outros trabalhos de reparação por sua conta, caso as seguintes informações não dêem solução ao seu problema concreto.
Aviso!
O aparelho frigorífico só pode ser reparado por pessoal especializado.
Reparações impróprias podem dar origem a perigos graves para o utilizador.
Sendo necessário efectuar reparações, dirija-se à casa especializada mais próxima ou ao nosso serviço de assistência técnica.

A porta ficou aberta durante um período de tempo prolongado.
Deixar a porta aberta só durante o tempo estritamente necessário.
Nas últimas 24 horas foram armazenadas grandes quantidades de alimentos quentes.
Ajustar temporariamente o reguldor de temperatura em uma temperatura mais baixa
O aparelho está instalado ao lado de uma fonte de calor.

A iluminação interior não funciona.
A lâmpada está estragada.

Forte formação de geada no aparelho, eventualmente também na vedaç ã o da porta.
A vedaç ã o da porta não veda bem (event. depois de mudar o lado de abertura da porta).
Aquecer, cuidadosamente, com um secador de cabelo os pontos da vedação da porta que não vedam bem (não a uma temperatura superior a aprox. 50 °C). Esticar, simultaneamente, a vedaç ã o da porta aquecida para a pôr em forma, de maneira a ficar correctamente assente.

Substituição da lâmpada
Aviso!
Perigo de choque eléctrico! Antes de proceder à substituição da lâmpada, desligar o aparelho e retirar a ficha de ligaçã o à rede da tomada ou desconectar o fusível.
Dados da lâmpada: lâmpada halógena, 220-240 V, porta-lâmpadas: E 14
1. Para desligar o aparelho.
2. Retirar a ficha de ligaçã o à rede da tomada.
3. Para a eventual substituição da lâmpada apertar o engate traseiro e simultaneamente desenfiar a tampa no sentido das setas.
4. Substituir a lâmpada com uma de potência igual (a potência máxima está contida no difusor de luz).
5. Instalar novamente a cobertura da lâmpada .

Se, em caso de avaria, não conseguir solucionar o problema com o auxílio destas instruções de utilização, é favor dirigirse à casa especializada mais próxima ou ao nosso serviço de assistência técnica.
Uma listagem precisa das peças sobressalentes necessárias, poderá evitar perdas de tempo e custos desnecessários. Por isso, é favor indicar os seguintes dados do seu aparelho:
• Designação do modelo
• Número do produto (PNC)
• Número de fabrico (S-No.)
Estas indicações encontramse na placa de características, no interior do aparelho. Para que possa ter estes dados sempre à mão, recomendamos que os registe aqui.
Se a indicação da temperatura assinalar uma falha (F1, F2, etc.), é favor participar ao serviço de assistência técnica a falha indicada.
Nota: uma deslocação injustificada do serviço de assistência técnica está sujeita a pagamento, mesmo durante o prazo de garantia.

Este aparelho frigorífico foi concebido para uso doméstico e fabricado em conformidade com as normas vigentes para este tipo de aparelhos. Durante a sua produção tomaram-se as providências necessárias, especialmente as que são prescritas pela lei sobre a segurança de aparelhos (GSG), pelas prescrições para a prevenção de acidentes relativas a instalações frigoríficas
(VBG 20) e pelos regulamentos da Associação dos Electrotécnicos Alemães
(VDE).
