Edition 5.1 of the TransForm A – Suite for Windows 2000/XP contains the
newly released versions of BCD wall management and driver software.
The Control Room Suite has been renamed to TransForm A – Suite for
Windows 2000/XP.

Introduction
The mission of the TRANSFORM A system aspect and its program approach, which comprises
the TRANSFORM A hardware (i.e. ARGUS, EOS), the driver level software and the wall
management software, is now also reflected in the naming of the respective CD-ROMs: the
Control Room Suite has been renamed to TransForm A – Suite for Windows 2000/XP. (In
unambiguous contexts the reference to Windows and 2000/XP can be omitted).
The issues of the CD’s are referenced sequentially and by year. The current, first issue of the
CD in 2005 is issue 5.1
The TransForm A Suite will always include the TRANSFORM A System kit, the Windows Driver
Suite, the RC AGENT, APOLLO, user manuals and third party products.

TRANSFORM A System Kit
This integral part of the TransForm A – Suite refers to the Windows operating system.
Service Pack versions, hotfixes, third party drivers, configurations and modifications are
clearly defined and described. The list of installed hotfixes typically represents the actual
status of the recommended hotfixes from Microsoft, at the time when QA for a new edition
starts.
Hotfixes and Service Packs come preinstalled on the system disk. Hotfixes are not
available from the CD, but only from the Microsoft Website. Service Packs typically are
included in the operating system CD, or in exceptional cases on the
TransForm A Suite CD.

Driver and wall management software
In combination with the TRANSFORM A System kit and the manuals these products form the
edition of the TransForm A – Suite for Windows, and comprise the Windows Driver Suite,
Barco RC AGENT and APOLLO wall management software. Installing the respective
components from one CD-ROM edition provides the highest level of interoperability, as
only the respective versions of a released edition have been QA tested on TRANSFORM A
system level.
Please note:
Using versions from within one edition should always be the first choice for installations!

User manuals and 3rd party products
Documentation is always provided in PDF format. To view and print Adobe Portable
Document Format (PDF), the CD-ROM will always include a version of the Acrobat Reader.

Shipments
All standard shipments of TRANSFORM A systems will be based on Edition 5.1 from now on.
Compatibility and system requirements
Edition 5.1 supports only the current workstation versions Windows 2000 and XP.
For the support of Windows NT and legacy extension cards like BIG VIDEO CARD,
RGB INPUT CARD, QUAD VIDEO CARD, VX GRAPHIC CARD or the MX GRAPHIC CARD and further
