FAQ / WARRANTY INFO.
Q. Why couldn't | see the new purchased HDD in “my computer” of Windows XP / VISTA or Windows 7/8 systems? NOTE:
A: The new HDD has to be formatted in advance, then it will work normally. 1. Do not pull out the enclosure without
pressing the eject Button!
2. To prevent data loss, do not push the eject
button when the light on enclosure is
illuminated.
Q. When the Windows XP / VISTA / 7 / 8 are operating and you insert the HDD, why couldn't the computer detect the HDD?
A: Go to “Device Manager” then push “System selects the Hardware tab” button or restart the computer to use it.
Note: Some motherboards don't support SATA hot swapping; so you may need to install a new motherboard or use
a PCI card which supports hot swapping.
