Prudence et conseils préventifs

• Placer le sélecteur 115/230V sur le standard de voltage local.

• A manipuler avec précaution, ne pas laisser tomber l’appareil

• Monter l’appareil sur un bâti ou placer-le sur une surface stable et solide.

• Utilisation intérieur uniquement. Ne pas placer l’appareil dans un endroit humide, poussiéreux gras ou enfumé.

• Ne placer pas l’appareil dans une zone mal ventilée ou à proximité de flammes ou de toutes autres sources de chaleur. Dans le cas contraire vous risqueriez d’endommager votre appareil ou de causer un incendie ou un choc électrique.

• Quand le nettoyage est nécessaire, éteindre le système et débrancher l’appareil de la prise murale avant d’ôter le couvercle supérieur. N’utiliser pas de nettoyants liquides ou d’aérosols.

Utiliser seulement un chiffon humide pour le nettoyer.

• Éteindre toujours votre système avant de connecter ou déconnecter des accessoires, à l’exception des périphériques USB.

• Pile au Lithium: Danger d’explosion si la pile est mal remplacée. Remplacer avec la même pile ou un type équivalent recommandé par le fabricant. Se débarrasser des piles utilisées selon les instructions du fabricant.

1. Généralité

La console de commande Luxsar VDRPJ10 peut-être facilement intéger dans un système complet de video surveillance, comprenant des enregistreurs, des caméras et d’autres appareils de video surveillance ayant une interface RS-485 pour le contrôle et la configuration. L’écran LCD avec retro-éclaiarge et joystick

3 axes procure à l’opérateur une utilisation simple et pratique. La console

Luxsar VDRPJ10 donne aussi la possibilité des mettre à jour le firmware au travers de la RS-232.

Le schéma ci-dessou montre l’utilisation de la console Luxsar VDRPJ10 dans un système complet de vidéo surveillance.

NOTE: Pour étendre le bus à une distance supérieur à 1,3 km et protéger les appareils connectés, il est recommandé de placer un répéteur à mi-distance sur le bus. Cependant un répéteur peut-être nécessaire pour des distances inférieures à 1,2 km si vous n’utilisez pas un câble CAT 5 –

24 gauge.

Description

L’utilisateur à la posibilité de mettre à jour le firmware de la console via ce port.

Ce commutateur est utilisé pour charger le bus de communication RS-485. En position normal ce commutateur doit-être sur ON. La configuration par défaut est OFF.

L’utilisateur peut configurer la console comme étant maître ou esclave. Si vous ajoutez un clavier sur l’installation, il doit être en mode « Esclave ». La configuration par défaut est « Maître ».

Ce commutateur est utilisé pour sélectionner le mode de communication full-duplex (4-câbles) ou half-duplex (2-câbles). Le mode par défaut est 2 câbles.

NOTE: Le mode 4-câble n’est pas actuellement disponible.

Ce connecteur est une connection rapide utilisée lors des démonstrations. Ce connecteur support uniquement le mode de communication half-duplex.

Borniers de connexion

L’utilisateur utiliser ces borniers pour connecter le câble de connection RS-232. Comme le montre la figure, ce bornier offre la possibilité de connecter une alimentation (DC 12V).

4. Connexion et alimentation

Luxsar VDRPJ10 peut-être connecté a des dômes motorisés ou des enregistreurs. Le chapitre suivant decrit les connexions de base en vidéosurveillance.

4.1 Câble de connection RS-485

Pour contrôler les caméras dômes, une console de commande est nécessaire

(ou un autre appareil de contrôle, par exemple un enregistreur) pour communiquer avec tout les appareils au travers d’une interface RS-485. Le type de câble CAT 5 (paire torsadée avec blindage) est recommandé pour les communications sur RS-485. La distance maximum pour un câble ayant une gauge supérieur à 24 est de 1219 mètres. Si la gauge du câble est de 24, l’utilisation d’un répéteur est recommandé.

Les borniers sont utilisés pour des installations ayant une longue distance.

L’utilisateur peut réaliser un bus RS-485 à l’aide des borniers situé sur l’arrière de la console. La description des broches figure sur les borniers.

4.2 Description du bornier RJ-11 (6P6C)

Le connecteur RJ-11 est conçu pour des applications de démonstration ou de teste et ne supporte que les communications half-duplex. L’utilisateur peut câbler le bus RS-485 en utilisant les pins 4 et 5. Réferez-vous à la table ci-dessous pour la description des broches.

4.3 Mise en marche des appareils

Veuillez suivre les étapes suivant pour mettre les appareils en marche.

(1) Connecter tous les appareils. Avant de connecter les caméras et l’enregistreur à la console Luxsar VDRPJ10, veuillez paramètrer les protocoles et les identifiants (ID) de chaque élément.

(2) Mettre en marche tous les appareils excepté la console. Assurez-vous que toutes les images sont affichées sur les écrans des moniteurs.

(3) Mettre en marche la console de commande.

Lorsque la console Luxsar VDRPJ10 est mise sous tension, la version du firmware est affichée sur l’écran LCD comme le montre la figure ci-dessous.

4.4 Actions en mode veille

En mode veille l’utilisateur pourra effectuer les actions suivantes.

• Appuyer sur la touche <SYS> pour entrer en mode configuration système.

• Entrer dans le mode de contrôle de caméra en appuyant sur la touche

<Camera/Dome Mode> (Mode Caméra/Dôme) et effectuer des actions telles que le déplacement du dôme et configuration de la caméra dôme.

• Entrer dans le mode de contrôle de l’enregistreur en appuyant sur la touche <DVR /Multiplexer Mode> controler l’enregistreur.

5. Configuration de la console

La console Luxsar VDRPJ10 sera en mode configuration lorsque l’utilisateur aura appuyé sur la touche <SYS> et saisi le mot de passe correcte (Le mot de passe par défaut est 0000). Les opérations détaillées seront décrit dans les chapitres suivant. Veuillez utiliser les touches ▲ (RUNSEQ) et ▼ (SETSEQ) pour faire défiler les options de configuration.

5.1 Recherche de caméras mobiles sur le bus

L’option 1.1 permet à l’utilisateur de scanner les caméras mobiles connectées sur le bus RS-485, les caméras fixes ne seront pas recherchées. Veuillez appuyer sur les touches ◄ ou ► pour lancer une nouvelle recherche.

5.2 Indentifiant (ID) de la console

Cette option permet d’assigner un nouvel identifiant (ID) à cette console.

Veuillez appuyer sur les touches ◄ ou ► pour modifier l’identifiant (ID).

L’identifiant par défaut de la console est 240. Veuillez paramètrer un identifiant différent pour chacune des consoles connectés sur le bus RS-485.

L’utilisateur peut choisir un mode spécifique de système d’affichage en accord avec la structure du système. Les options sélectionnables sont a. MPX main

monitor (MPX moniteur principal), c. Super MPX mode (Mode super MPX) et d.

Super MMX mode (Mode Multiplexer-Matrix); b. Matrix output (Sortie matrice) ce mode est pour le moment réservé. Si il a moins de 16 caméras dans le système, a. MPX main monitor (MPX moniteur principal) sera la bonne alternative. Pour des systèmes ayant plus de caméras, il est souhaitable de choisir le mode c. Super MPX mode (Mode super MPX) ou le mode Super

Cette option permet à l’utilisateur de configurer la vitesse de fonctionnement de la RS-232. Cette option propose les vitesses de 9600, 4800 et 2400 bps.

5.5 Configuration de la date système

Cette option permet à l’utilisateur de configurer la date et l’heure de la console

Luxsar VDRPJ10. Veuillez appuyer sur les touches ◄ et ► pour sélectionner une colonne (année, mois ou date) pour la modifier, et saisir la nouvelle date du système directement en utilisant le clavier. Appuyer sur la touche <ESC>

(ECHAP) pour quitter cette option.

5.7 Synchonisation l’heure

Cette option permet à l’utilisateur de synchroniser l’heure de tous les appareils présents sur le bus RS-485 sur l’heure de la console Luxsar VDRJP10.

Appuyer sur la touche <ENTER> (ENTRER) pour valider la fonction ou appuyer sur la touche <ESC> (ECHAP) pour sortir de cette option.

5.8 Liste des alarmes système

Cette option permet à l’utilisateur de lister les 10 dernières informations d’alarme provenant du bus RS-485, incluant l’heure du déclencement et l’identification de la caméra en alarme. Appuyer sur la touche <ESC> (ECHAP) pour sortie de cette option.

5.9 Protocole et vitesse de transmission

Cette option permet à l’utilisateur de paramètrer le protocole de communication de chaque caméra. De cette façon l’utilisateur peut appeler une caméra et la contrôler. De plus l’utilisateur peut contrôler la vitesse de transmission. Appuyer sur la touche <1> pour paramètrer le protocole. Appuyer sur les touches ◄ ou

► pour changer la configuration et sur les touches ▲ ou ▼ pour sélectionner la caméra. Appuyer sur la touche <ESC> (ECHAP) lorsque la configuration est finie. Les protocoles disponibles sont DSCP, PELCO-D, PELCO-P et Caméra fixe.

Ici l’indentifiant de la caméra correspond à son numéro. Ce numéro est utilisé par l’utilisateur pour sélectionner une caméra, qui peut-être une caméra fixe ou une caméra mobile à afficher en plein écran sur le moniteur au travers de l’enregistreur. Si la caméra est une caméra mobile, l’utilisateur peut contrôler et configurer cette caméra au travers de la connexion RS-485. Chaque appareil connecté sur le bus doit avoir une identification (ID) unique. La console Luxsar

VDRPJ10 à besoin de savoir si la caméra est fixe ou mobile pour être certaine de la contrôler correctement. Référez-vous à Appendice C: ID Address

Mapping pour plus d’information sur les identifiants (ID) et le mapage de canaux des enregistreurs et miltiplexeurs.

NOTE: Si vous utilisez une caméra mobile, assurez-vous que le numéro de la caméra de l’enregistreur est identique au numéro de la caméra connectée sur le bus RS-485. De plus, rappelez-vous d’assigner un numéro à chaque caméra fixe connectée au système, si non les caméras ne seront pas recherchées en mode contrôle de caméra mobile.

5.10 Sonorité des touches

Cette option permet à l’utilisateur d’activer ou de désactiver l’émission sonor lors des appuis sur les touches. Lorsque le paramètrage est sur ON, les touches

émettent un signal sonor lors de chaque appuit. Appuyez sur les touches ◄ ou

► pour changer la configuration. Puis appuyer sur la touche ▼ pour aller à l’option suivante.

Cette option permet à l’utilisateur d’activer ou de desactiver la fonction «Action sur alarme» du clavier. La configuration par défaut est OFF. Appuyer sur les touches ◄ ou ► pour changer la configuration.

Si la fonction «Action sur alarme» est activé, les actions seront les suivantes.

(1) Le buzzer émet un signal sonor et l’écran LCD clignote lorsque la console

Luxsar VDRPJ10 reçoit une alarme

(2) Après cela, si l’utilisateur déplace le joystick ou appuit sur une touche, la console créera un lien avec la caméra qui est à l’origine de l’alarme.

(3) Une fois le lien créé, la vidéo en provenance de cette caméra sera affichée sur le moniteur.

5.12 Configuration de mot de passe

Cette option permet à l’utilisateur de modifier le mot de passe de la console. Il est nécessaire de saisir à deux reprises un nouveau mot de passe de quatre chiffres pour confirmer le changement.

Appuyer et maintenir appuyé la touche (Voir ci-dessous) durant 3 secondes et les touches de la console Luxsar VDRPJ10 seront verrouillées, alors la LED s’illuminera. Pour dévérrouiller les touches, appuyer et maintenir appuyer cette touche à nouveau durant 3 secondes.


6. Contrôle d’une caméra mobile

Pour entrer dans le mode «Contrôle de caméra», appuyer sur la touche

<Camera/Dome Mode> (Mode Caméra/Dôme) et la LED s’illuminera. Puis saisir l’identifiant (ID) de la caméra dôme et appuyer sur la touche <ENTER>

(ENTRER) pour confirmer (voir ci-dessous).

La première ligne de l’afficheur LCD ci-dessus contient les informations suivantes: Fonction disponible P=Pan, T=Tilt, Z=Zoom, F=Focus, OSD=OSD.

La seconde ligne de l’afficheur montre le nombre saisie dans deux cas. L’un des cas est lorsque l’utilisateur commute différente caméras avec la vidéo en plein

écran en sortie de l’enregistreur. Par exemple, si vous saissisez <2> et appuyez sur la touche <ENTER> (ENTRER), la caméra numéro 2 sera affichée et la première ligne affichera 002. L’utilisateur pourra appeler un numéro de caméra allant de 1 à 223 en saississant le numéro correspondant. 6.1 Entrer dans le menu d’une caméra

Appuyer et maintenir appuyé la touche <CAMERA MENU> (MENU CAMERA)

(voir la figure ci-dessous) durant 3 secondes pour ouvrir le menu sur écran de la caméra, si la caméra sélectionnée est équipée d’un menu sur écran. L’utilisateur pourra alors sélectionner et configurer différent paramètres avec les touches de direction. Pour les caméras fonctionnant avec le protocole Pelco le joystick


fonctionnera comme les touches de direction et permettera le déplacement du curseur dans le menu sur écran.

NOTE: Lorsque vous êtes dans le menu sur écran de la caméra, la touche <CAMERA MENU> (MENU CAMERA) fonctionne comme

«ENTER» (ENTRER) et «Exit» (QUITTER).

6.2 Joystick

Pousser le joystick sur la droite, la gauche, le haut et le bas pour déplacer le dôme en azimut et en site. Veuillez aussi vous référer au chapitre 6.1 pour les autres fonctions du joystick lorsque vous utilisez une caméra avec le protocole

Pelco.

En mode «Contrôle caméra», l’utilisateur est autorisé à utiliser la fonction préposition. Veuillez suivre les instructions suivantes pour configurer et lancer les prépositions en utilisant la console Luxsar VDRPJ10 ou le menu sur écran de la caméra.

6.7 Contrôle de l’objectif de la caméra

L’utilisateur peut contrôler les fonctions de l’objectif de la caméra mobile sous le mode «Contrôle caméra». Veuillez vous référer aux descriptions des touches qui suivent.

7. Contrôle d’un enregistreur

L’utilisateur à la possibilité de contrôler un enregistreur depuis la console

Luxsar VDRPJ10. Appuyer sur la touche <Multiplexer/DVR Mode> (Mode

Multiplexeur/DVR) pour entrer dans le mode de contrôle du multiplexeur. La led de la touche s’illuminera. Saisir alors l’identifiant (ID) de l’enregistreur et appuyer sur la touche <ENTER> (ENTRER) pour confirmer votre saisi.

Sous ce mode, l’utilisateur peut appuyer sur le numéro du canal qu’il souhaite voir en plein écran sur le moniteur (Voir l’écran ci-dessus) et réaliser d’autre fonction de contrôle de l’enregistreur qui seront décrite dans les chapitres suivants. Appuyer à plusieurs reprises pour sélectionner le mode d’affichage du moniteur principale. Il y a 4 modes disponibles: plein écran, 4-fenêtres (2×2), 9-fenêtres

(3×3) et 16-fenêtres (4×4).

En plus si vous appuyez sur une de ces touches durant la lecture, la lecture sera mise en pause. Appuyer une nouvelle fois sur la touche pour continuer la lecture.


Sous le mode Multiplexeur/DVR, appuyer sur la touche <SEQ> (SEQUENCE) pour lancer la visualisation séquencielle des signaux vidéo connectés sur l’enregistreur. Appuyer une nouvelle fois sur cette même touche pour retourner au mode normal.

La touche <LIST> (LISTE) permet d’effectuer une recherche. Dans les deux modes ; lecture et direct, l’utilisateur peut appuyer sur cette touche pour appeler le menu de recherche pour trouver et lire des images enregistrées à une date et heure spécifique ou bien des images liées à un évènement.

La touche <SET UP –

7.6 Avance et retour rapide

Lorsque vous lisez la vidéo, appuyez sur la touche droite pour avancer rapidement et sur la touche gauche pour reculler. Les détails concernant les touches de direction pour le mode Multiplexeur/DVR mode seront abordés dans le chapitre 7.9 Touches de direction.


Sous le mode contrôle de l’enregistreur, la touche <F1> fonctionne comme la touche <Call> (Appel). Dans le mode directe, lorsque vous appuyez sur cette touche vous entrez dans le mode de contrôle de la sortie moniteur d’appel. Dans le mode lecture, appuyer sur cette touche pour exporter rapidement un clip vidéo sur un appareil externe.

7.8 MENU

Appuyer sur la touche <MENU> pour appeler le menu de configuration de l’enregistreur. Lorsque vous appuyez sur la touche <MENU> l’enregistreur vous demande le mot de passe. Vous devez alors saisir le mot de passe (4-8 chiffre) de votre enregistreur. Si le mot de passe est 1234, veuillez saisir 01, 02, 03, 04

(affiché XXXX). Après cela, la page principale du menu est affichée sur l’ecran.

Sélectionner une option dans le menu principale et appuyer sur

<ENTER/ZOOM> pour entrer dans le sous menu de configuration.

NOTE: Dans le mode Contrôle de l’enregistreur, généralemnt si vous saisissez «01» avec la console, l’enregistreur prendra en compte «1»; si vous saisissez «10» avec le clavier, l’enregistreur prendra en compte «10 ».

Référez-vous à l’exemple ci-dessus. Cependant, dans certaine situations, telque la saisie du mot de passe, l’enregistreur peut interpréter la saisie d’un «10» comme un «0». Par exemple, si le mot de passe de l’enregistreur est 0123, vous devez saisir «10», «01», «02» et «03» séquenciellement sur la console.

7.9 CONFIGURATION

La touche <SET> permet aux utilisateurs de commuter le contrôle de dôme et de configurer des prépositions depuis l’enregistreur. Pour plus de détail au sujet de la configuration des prépositions, référez-vous au manuel de l’enregistreur.


7.10 Touche de direction

L’utilisateur peut déplacer le curseur pour sélectionner une option du menu en utilisant les touches de direction (sur le coté gauche du clavier). Sous certaine option du menu, les touches droite et gauche peuvent être utilisées pour modifier les valeurs des paramètres.

Appuyer sur la touche <ESC> (ECHAP) vous annulerez ou quitterez les menus sans sauvegarder les changementss.

Appuyer sur la touche <ENTER/ZOOM> (ENTRER/ZOOM) pour sélectionner une option du menu de configuration.

Appendice D: Système Super MPX et Super MMX

Dans les modes Super MPX et Super MMX, le système comporte un enregistreur unique, appellé Super enregistreur (voir la figure ci-dessous) et de multiple enregistreurs satellites destinés aux connexions vidéo. De tel sorte que l’utilisateur peut consentrer son attention sur une caméra sélectionnée sur un moniteur unique qui est connectée au Super enregistreur.

Système Super MPX

Le mode Super MPX est une option idéale lorsque l’utilisateur souhaite regarder les images sur le moniteur principal. Des moniteurs suplémentaires peuvent être connectés à la sortie moniteur d’appel d’un enregistreur satellite pour un affichage séquentielle du système entier.


Système Super MMX

Le mode Super MMX permet à l’utilisateur de regarder le système de moniteur d’appel à partir du Super DVR pour sélectionner une caméra. Dans le même temps toutes les autres caméras peuvent être affichées simultanément en mode mosaïque 4x4 sur des moniteurs connectés sur la sortie principale des enregistreurs satellites.


Appendice E: Mise à jour du firmware

Veuillez suivre les instructions suivantes pour mettre à jour le firmware de la console

Assurez-vous que le logiciel «Renesas» est installé sur l’ordinateur avant de lancer la mise

Connecter le clavier sur un ordinateur:

ETAPE 2: Connecter sur le port COM1 ou COM2 de votre ordinateur la console avec le câble RS-232/Sub-D 9 (Uitliser un câble droit non croisé).

Lancer la mise à jour du firmware:

ETAPE 1: Mettre la console sous tension.

ETAPE 2: Lancer l’application de mise à jour du firmware.

ETAPE 3: Selectionner «Download File» et cliquer sur «…» pour sélectionner le fichier à charger.

ETAPE 4: Cliquer la touche «Program Flash» pour lancer la mise à jour du firmware.

ETAPE 5: Il y aura une barre indicatrice de l’avancement du chargement qui s’affichera après avoir cliqué sur la touche «Program Flash». Si le chargement ne démarre pas, veuillez vérifier les connections et essayer à nouveau.


ETAPE 6: Cliquer sur la touche «Disconnect» (Déconnecter) après que la mise à jour soit finie.

ETAPE 7: metter la console hors tension. Le firmware de la console à été mis à jour.

Problème lors du chargement du firmware:

Lorsque le programme charge les données, des problèmes peuvent survenir, vous pouvez avoir à vérifier les points suivants:

1. Vérifier que le commutateur HW est correctement configuré.

2. Verifier que la connection RS-232 est correct, si non le programme ne se lance pas.

3. Vérifier que le port de communication est bien sélectionné, si non le programme ne se lance pas.

4. Si le programme se lance mais n’a pas de réponse, veuillez vérifier le type de micro-processeur dans la configuration de chargement.

1. Overview

This Luxsar VDRPJ10 can be integrated with a full range of CCTV products easily, such as Digital Video Recorders (DVR), cameras and other CCTV devices with RS-485 interface for remote control and system configuration. Back lit LCD display and 3-axis joystick control provide user- friendly operations.

Built-in firmware upgrade circuits allow users to upgrade firmware through the

RS-232 port.

The system configuration diagram below shows the application of the Luxsar

VDRPJ10 in a comprehensive surveillance system.

NOTE: To extend the network distance up to 1.2 km (4000 feet) and to protect the connected devices, it is highly recommended to place a repeater in the mid-point. However, a repeater may be needed in the network distance less than 1.2 km if the used cables are not the CAT 5, 24-gauge cables.

Description

Users are allowed to upgrade firmware of the keyboard through this port.

This switch is used to terminate the connected

RS-485 communication line. It should be kept in the

OFF position normally. The default is OFF.

Users can set this keyboard as a master or slave station. An additional keyboard added into the system should be a SLAVE station. The switch is

MASTER at factory default.

This switch is used to select full-duplex (4-lines) or half-duplex (2-lines) for the communication lines.

The default is 2 lines.

NOTE: The 4-lines mode is not available currently.

This jack is a quick connection jack for demo purpose. It only supports half-duplex communication.

Users should connect RS-485 communication lines through this connector. There is an additional power input position on this connector (DC 12V), as shown in the figure.

4. System Connection and Power Up

The Luxsar VDRPJ10 can be connected with a speed dome camera or DVR.

The following sections will describe basic connections in a surveillance system.

4.1 Connecting RS-485 Cables

To operate dome cameras, a control keyboard (or other control device, e.g. DVR) is needed to communicate all devices via RS-485 interface. The CAT 5

(Shielded twisted pairs) cables are recommended for RS-485 communication; maximum cable length for over 24-gauge wire is 4000 feet (1219 meters). If the total cable length is over 4000 feet, using a repeater to enlarge the signals is recommended.

Terminal block is designed for long distance installation. Users can construct a

RS-485 network through the terminal block located on the rear panel of the control keyboard. Detailed pin definition can be found on the terminal block.

4.2 RJ-11 (6P6C) Connector Definition

RJ-11 jack is designed for demo and testing purpose, and only supports half-duplex communication. Users could construct a RS-485 network through pin

4.3 Power on the Devices

Please follow the steps to power up all devices.

(1) Connect all devices. Before connecting cameras and DVR to the system control keyboard, please finish all protocol and unit ID setups.

(2) Power up all devices except for the keyboard. Make sure images of connected cameras are displayed on the monitor screen.

(3) Power up the control keyboard.

As the keyboard is powered on, the software version will be displayed on the

LCD as shown below.

4.4 Standby Mode Actions

Users will be able to do the following actions under the Standby Mode.

• Press the <SYS> key to enter the System Setup mode.

• Enter the Camera Control mode by pressing <Camera/Dome Mode> key

and execute further camera controls such as P/T/Z operations and camera OSD setup.

Mode> key and carry on further DVR control related settings.

For detailed instructions on keyboard system setting, dome camera control and

DVR control, please refer to the following chapters.


The Luxsar VDRPJ10 will enter System Setup mode when users press the

<SYS> key and enter a correct password (default password is 0000). Detailed operation will be described in the following sections. Please use ▲ (RUNSEQ) and ▼ (SETSEQ) keys to scroll these setup items.

5.2 Keyboard Assignment

► key to change the ID number. The default ID of the control keyboard is 240.

Please assign different ID for different keyboard if more than one keyboard is connected to one RS-485 bus.

NOTE: No two control keyboards connected to the same RS-485 bus should be given the same ID.

Users could select a specific system monitor mode according to different system structure. The options selectable include a. MPX main monitor, c. Super MPX

mode (Super Multiplexer) and d. Super MMX mode (Multiplexer-Matrix); b.

Matrix output is reserved. Generally, if there are less than 16 cameras within a system, a. MPX main monitor would be a proper alternative. For a large-scaled system, the connected cameras may exceed 16 or more. It is suggested to select either the Super MPX mode or the Super MMX mode for such a situation.

The item allows users to list the latest 10 Alarm information from system bus, including event triggered time and triggered camera’s ID. Press <ESC> to exit this mode.


5.9 Camera Type and System Baud Rate Setting

The item allows users to assign a proper protocol or camera type to each camera through the keyboard so that when under the dome control mode, users could call a specific camera and control it. In addition, users can set system baud rate. Press <1> to assign a protocol. Press ◄ or ► key to change the setting and ▲ or ▼ key to select a camera; Press <ESC> when finished. The options include DSCP, PELCO-D, PELCO-P and Fix Camera.

Basically, the camera ID here means camera number. This number is for users to select a camera, which may be of fixed type or dome type, to display a full-screen video output on the monitor through DVRs/MUXs. If this camera is a dome camera, users can control and set this camera through RS-485 connection; each device on the bus should have a unique ID. The Luxsar

VDRPJ10 needs to recognize whether a camera is of fixed type or dome type to make correct control and setting. Please refer to Appendix C: ID Address

Mapping for information on camera ID and DVR/MUX channel mapping.

NOTE: If use a speed dome, ensure the camera No. and camera ID

(1) Buzzer beep and LCD flashes when the control Luxsar VDRPJ10 receives alarm signals

(2) Afterwards, if users move the joystick or press any key, the control keyboard will try to link to the camera that broadcasts the alarm message.

(3) Once the camera is linked, video from it will be displayed in full screen on the monitor.

The item allows users to change the password of a keyboard. It is required to input a new 4-digits password twice correctly to confirm password change.

<ENTER> key, the camera no. 2 will be called out and the first row xxx displays as 002; users could call dome/fixed cameras No. 1 to 223 by inputting a corresponding number. Another situation is for preset and sequence setting; further details will be described in the latter sections 6.3 Preset Function and

6.4 Sequence Function.

6.1 Entrance into Camera OSD Menu

To enter the camera’s on-screen-display (OSD) menu, the keyboard should be under the camera control mode, and the LCD should display as shown below. xxx P/T/Z/F/OSD Cam

Press and hold the <CAMERA MENU> key (see the diagram below) for three seconds to open the OSD menu of the camera if the selected camera is equipped with the OSD function. In the OSD menu, users can make selection and set various parameters with direction and <CAMERA MENU> keys. For the camera with Pelco protocol, the joystick will function as directional control to move the cursor in the Camera OSD.

For further details about cameras’ OSD setup, please refer to cameras’ documentation.

Push the joystick right/left/up/down to Pan/Tilt/Zoom the dome camera directly.

Press a number key to specify a sequence line that you want to execute and then press <RUN SEQ> (see the illustrations above) to start running sequential preset points. The LCD will display as shown below.

(PLAY/ENDSEQ) will remove all serial points behind the current point of a sequence line, e.g. The sequence line 1 is composed of 7 serial points, from 001 ~ 007; when you go to the point 005 on the LCD and press

(ENDSEQ), the points 005 , 006 and 007 would be deleted. To exit the sequence mode with (ENDSEQ), you need to go to the point next to the last point of a sequence line, i.e. 008 in the above example, and press the key. In addition, exit of the sequence mode with the key <ESC> will still keep all serial points of a sequence line.

Users are able to control Multiplexers/DVRs remotely through the control Luxsar

VDRPJ10. Press the <Multiplexer/DVR Mode> Key to enter the

Multiplexer/DVR control mode; the LED of the key would be lightening. Then input the ID number of Multiplexer/DVR and press the <ENTER> key to confirm your input.

Under this mode, users can input the channel number for a full-screen display

Press repeatedly to select a mode of main monitor display; there are 4 available view modes: full screen, 4-window (2×2), 9-window (3×3) and 16-window (4×4).

If press either the key <FREEZE> or <CRUISE> (PAUSE/DEL) while viewing live image, the real-time recording will be paused. To restore to the live mode, simply press the key <FREEZE>/<CRUISE> again. Additionally, If press one of the keys during playback, the playing will be paused; press the same key again would continue playing video.

Under the Multiplexer/DVR mode, press the key <SEQ> would start sequential video display coming from the installed cameras. Press the same key again to switch to REC mode.

The key <LIST> represents the Search function. In both Playback and Live modes, users can press the key to call the Search menu for searching and playing back recorded video by date and time or events.

The key <SET UP> (PLAY/ENDSEQ) represents Stop/Play function under the

DVR control mode. Press this key to switch between live image and playback video.

7.6 Fast Forward and Rewind

Under the DVR control mode, the keys <GO PRESET> (FF) and <SET

PRESET> (REW), the direction keys (right and left) under the LCD, also represent fast forward and rewind of playback video. When viewing playback video, press the right key for fast forward and left key for rewind. Further details of the direction keys for the Multiplexer/DVR mode will be described in section

7.9 Direction Keys.


Under the DVR control mode, the key <F1> functions as the DVR’s Call key. In

Live mode, press the key would enter call monitor control mode. In Playback mode, press it to quick export video to the external device.

7.8 MENU

Press the key <MENU> to call the DVR’s OSD setup main menu. Press <Menu>, and the OSD will display the requirement for password verification. Then you should enter the password (4-8 digits) of your DVR, e.g. if your DVR password is

1234, please enter 01, 02, 03, 04 (shown as XXXX). Afterwards, the main menu page will display on the OSD; select an item under the main menu and press

<ENTER/ZOOM> to enter its submenu for further setup.

NOTE: Under the DVR control mode, generally if input « 01 » on the keyboard, the DVR will output as « 1 » ; input « 10 » on the keyboard, the

DVR will output as « 10 » ; refer to the example above. However, in some situations, such as password input, the DVR may interpret input of « 10 » as « 0 » e.g. if the password of the DVR is 0123, you should input « 10 », « 01 », « 02 » and

« 03 » sequentially on the keyboard.

7.9 SET

The <SET> key allows users to toggle the dome control Hint Screen and set preset points through a DVR. For further details about setting dome preset positions on the Hint Screen, please refer to the DVR’s user manual.

Users can move the OSD cursor for menu item selection by using the direction keys (left side of the keyboard). Under some menu items, the right and left keys may be used for value setting.

Appendix D: Super MPX and Super MMX System

Under the Super MPX and Super MMX modes, the systems contain a unique first-tier DVR, named Super DVR (see the illustration below), and multiple second-tier DVRs (Satellite

DVR) for video connections. Thus the user can concentrate his attention for a selected camera on a unique system monitor which is connected to the Super DVR.

Super MPX System

The Super MPX mode is an ideal option when users intend to watch the display on the system main monitor. Additional monitors may be connected to the call monitor output from satellite DVRs for sequential display of the whole system.

Carry on the following steps for executing the Renesas program after its installation is completed.

 Program Setting for Firmware Upgrade

STEP 1: Execute the firmware upgrade Windows application. Usually «Start» Æ

«All Programs» Æ «Renesas» Æ «Flash Development Toolkit 3.1» Æ

«Flash Development Toolkit 3.1».


STEP 2: When first time using the application, select «Create a new project workspace» and then click «OK».

STEP 3: Input workspace & project names, e.g. D7313, and then click «OK».

STEP 4: At the «Choose Device And Kerne» screen, select «H8/3064BF» and then click «Next >».

STEP 5: At the «Communication Por» screen, select the connection port of the

RS-232 cable; then click «Next ».


STEP 6: At the «Device Settings» screen, input the CPU crystal frequency as

«22.1184» Mhz and then click «Next >».

STEP 7: At the «Connection Type» screen, click «Next >».

STEP 8: At the «Programming Options» screen, click «Finish». simple operation mode.


STEP 1:

Connect the Keyboard to PC:

Turn over the keyboard to the back, and set the HW Download Switch (as marked in the diagram below) to the left side (according to the diagram below).

STEP 2: Connect the port COM1 or COM2 of the PC and keyboard with a RS-232

D-Sub9 cable (one-to-one, not a cross-over NULL-MODEM cable).

Start Firmware Upgrade:

STEP 1: Power ON the keyboard.

STEP 2: Start the firmware-upgrade Windows application.

STEP 3: Select «Download File» and then click «…» to select the download file.

STEP 4: Click the «Program Flash» button to start upgrading firmware.

STEP 5: There should be a status bar indicating the download percentage after clicking the « Program Flash » button. If the downloading does not start, please check cable connection and software setting; then try again.

STEP 6: Click the « Disconnect » button after the upgrade process is finished.

STEP 7: Power OFF the keyboard. The keyboard’s firmware upgrade is finished.

Trouble Shooting for Program Download Failure:

When program download failure happens, you may need to check the following items:

1. Check whether the HW Download Switch is set properly.

2. Check whether RS-232 cable connection is correct if cannot boot the program.

3. Check whether the selected communication port is correct if cannot boot the program.

4. If the program can be booted but has no response, please check the MCU type in download setting (see the previous section: Program Setting for Firmware Upgrade:

STEP 4).
