GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• Assemble the tank only according to these instructions. Improper assembly can create hazards.

• Operating any tools or equipment under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or medication can cause personal injury to yourself and others.

Wear proper apparel. Remove your jewelry before using air compressor. Do not wear loose clothing, necklaces, rings, bracelets, or other jewelry, which may get caught in moving parts. Nonskid footwear and electrically non-conductive gloves are highly suggested while working. Wear protective hair covering to contain long hair.

• Protect your eyes. The operation of any air compressor can result in foreign objects being thrown into the eyes, which can result in severe eye damage. Always wear eye protection that meets ANSI Z28.1 specifications during air compressor operation.

Eyeglasses are not always safety glasses.

• Do not overreach. Proper footing and balance is a must at all times while using tools.

Unstable support may lead to personal injury. Do not stand on the tool. Serious injury could result if the tool tips over or you accidentally contact the tool.

• Keep work area clean. Messy areas and cluttered workbenches invite personal injury and/or property damage.

• Keep children and visitors away. All children should be kept away from the work area.

DO NOT let children handle the compressor or extension cord. Maintain a safe distance for any person near the work area.

• Avoid operating this air tank in damp, wet, or rainy conditions.

• Keep the work area free from flammable gasses or liquids.

• Always work in areas that are clean and well-lit.

• Before using any tool, any part that appears damaged should be carefully checked to determine that it will operate properly and perform its intended function.

• Before operating the air tank, check for damaged parts.

• Do not exceed the maximum PSI air pressure.

• Use only compressed air.

• When filling the tank, do not over-pressurize.

Important Operating Instructions

GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• Do not over inflate. Never exceed the maximum pressure rating of any inflatable. Check pressure frequently during inflation.

• Pull the safety pressure bypass valve prior to operation to ensure that the valve is functioning properly and to clear the valve of any possible obstructions.

• Beware of possible explosions. The unit is capable of producing compressed air at high pressure which could cause tires, toys, or other inflatables to explode. This could result in serious injury

• Store idle equipment. When not in use, tools must be stored in a dry location to prevent damage from the elements.

• Do not fill from any compressed gas cylinder.

• Only fill with air from a service station or low pressure air compressor.

• Do not fill the tank with anything other than air.

• Do not expose the tank to severe moisture or extreme heat.

• If a leak should develop in the air tank, discard immediately. Do not attempt to repair a damaged tank.

• This product is not a toy. Do not allow children to play with or near the air tank.

• Use only for its intended purpose.

• Inspect before every use; do not use if parts are loose or damaged.

• Maintain product labels and nameplates. These carry important safety information. If unreadable or missing, contact customer service.

FILLING THE TANK

Read the entire safety instructions before use.

1. Fill the tank from a clean and dry compressed air source to the maximum 125 air pressure. The best sources for compressed air are local full service gas stations or truck stops.

2. To fill, press the chuck of the compressed air source hose to the tank’s fill stem. While filling, observe the pressure gauge. DO NOT OVERFILL. Keep filling until the pressure gauge reads between 85 and 125 PSI (outer reading on gauge).

OPERATION

1. Press the air chuck onto the fill stem of the inflatable item.

2. Turn the red adjustment dial counterclockwise to ON. This will let the air flow from the tank and into the hose. DO NOT OVER-INFLATE.

3. Once the item is filled with the recommended maximum PSI level (125 PSI), remove the air chuck from the item’s fill stem.

Note: The tank pressure must exceed the pressure of the item you are filling. If not, the tank will be unable to expel air. If this happens, increase the tank pressure and check that the ON/OFF adjustment dial is fully open.

WARNING: Never fill the tank more than 125 PSI.

4. When done, turn the adjustment dial to OFF. This will close the valve between the tank and hose and keep air from leaking.

5. If the tank will not be used for long periods of time, expel the air inside the tank and hose. Store in a clean and dry location away from children.

MAINTENANCE

1. Regularly drain water condensation from the tank, which can lead to internal corrosion and damage to the tank. To drain, hold the tank upside down and remove the bypass valve spring.

2. Due to internal corrosion, do not use the tank beyond the destroy date stamped on the leg of the tank. Safely disable the tank as follows: a. Depressurize the air tank completely by holding the bypass valve spring open.

WARNING: Failure to properly depressurize the tank before proceeding may result in serious personal injury.

b. Remove the pressure gauge and air hose.

c. Deliver the tank to a pressure tank disposal service, if available.

d. If a pressure tank disposal service is not available, place the tank in a secure, stable working location and drill at least two 1/2” (or larger) holes through the side of the tank.

Then, deliver to an appropriate recycling center.

STORING

1. Turn the ON/OFF wheel clockwise to the OFF position. This will keep the air from leaking out of the air hose.

2. Store in a dry, dust-free location away from children and any flammable materials.

3. To remove all air from the air tank, pull the ring until the gauge indicates zero and the air flow stops.
