- Please save these instructions for future reference.
+ Adult assembly is required. (Tools are not needed
for assembly.)
- Maximum weight of child: 40 Ibs.
- Maximum height of child: 38 inches.
- Maximum storage weight for storage basket: 8 Ibs.

ATS 4000 depends on you! Please read
and understand the following warnings
and instructions before use.
+ Never leave your child unattended.
- To prevent serious injury or death from
falls or sliding out, always use the
restraint belts.
- Do not carry additional children, goods
Or accessories in or on the ATS 4000,
as recommended in the instructions.
» Ihe ATS 4000 may become unstable
if the maximum weight of the storage
basket is exceeded. Do not exceed the
maximum weight limit of 8 Ibs. in the
storage basket.

+ Hold the handle with one hand and the rear crossbar with
the other. Pull the handle and the rear crossbar apart until

* Test to be sure both frame latches are secure by pulling
the handle and rear crossbar towards each other. The
frame latches should remain locked in position.

Locking Tab Locking Tab
- Slide the locking tabs and rear wheels apart so that there
Is one rear wheel and one locking tab on each end of the
rear axle.

Storage Basket
Square “Hole” Square “Hole”
- Stand behind the stroller so that the underside of the
storage basket is facing you.
* Position the locking tabs over the square “holes” in the
rear wheel retainers.

| Rear Wheel Retainers |
+ With the locking tabs aligned with the square “holes” in
the rear wheel retainers, fit the rear axle into the grooves
in the rear wheel retainers.
- Push down firmiy on the rear axle near each rear wheel
retainer to snap the locking tabs into the rear wheel
retainers. Make sure you hear a “snap” on both sides.

* testio-Ge sure therear wheel assembly is secure Dy
pulling up on the rear axle. If the rear axle moves, review
steps O - Q and re-assembie.
* Snap a hubcap into the center of each rear wheel.
Front Wheel Assembly

Canopy sa
+ Insert and slide the canopy stay through the canopy
tunnel.

- Slide the open end of a front wheel caster onto one of
the front legs.

- Turn the stroller upright.
* Align and insert the tabs on one end of the canopy stay
with the keyhole in the canopy mount.
* Repeat this procedure to attach the other end of the
canopy stay to the stroller,
- Twist the moveable ring on the front wheel caster to align
the hole in the moveable ring with the pin on the front leg.
* Push the pin on the front leg in and slide the front wheel
caster over it. The pin should “snap” into the hole.
- Pull on-the front wheel to De sure it is securely attached
to the front leg. |
* Repeat this procedure to assemble the other front wheel + Lift the canopy.
lo the stroller. + Wrap the back of the canopy around the canopy bar and
oress the fasteners together.
One-time assembly is now complete.

- Grasp the front of the stroller with cre hand. With your
other hand. lift the handle until the frame latches “snap”
into position.

To raise the seat back:

+ Place your child in the stroller.
+ Pull the crotch belt up between your child's legs.
+ Buckle both waist belts to the crotch belt. Make sure you
hear a “click” on both sides.
| - Make sure the waist belts are properly adjusted to fit
your child. Pull on the waist belts to be sure they are
| securely fastened.

To recline the seat back:
* Turn the stroller so that the back is facing you.
- Press the thumb tab on each seat back latch to release
the pins.
* Guide the seat back down to the reclined postion.

Adjusting the Waist Belts

To tighten the waist belts:
+ Feed the anchored end of the waist belt up through the
buckle to form a loop ©.
- Pull the free end of the waist belt @.
+ Repeat this procedure to tighten the other waist belt.
PLEASE NOTE: After adjusting the waist belts to fit your
child, make sure you pull on them to be sure they are
securely fastened.

To loosen the waist belts:
* Feed the free end of the waist belt up through the buckle
to form a loop O.
*» Enlarge the loop by pulling on the end of the loop toward
the buckle.
+ Pull the anchored end of the waist belt to shorten the free
end of the waist belt €).
- Repeat this procedure to loosen the other waist belt.
PI FASE NOTE: After adiusting the waist belts to fit your
Child, make sure you pull on them to be sure they are
securely fastened.
Canopy Adjustment
The canopy can be adjusted up or down.

To tock the rear wheel brakes:
- Press both brake pedals down until they click into the
ocked pesition. Make sure the brake pedals are
pressed down completely.
* Always set both brake pedals whenever you park the
stroller,
To unlock the rear wheel brakes:
* Lift both brake pedals until they click into the unlocked
DOSItION.

- Face the front of the stroller.
- Make sure the canopy is in the up position.
+ Rotate the bottom of the frame latches outward.

* Pull up on the frame latches so that the frame rotates to
the folded position.
«+ The latch clip on the stroller will automatically lock to

- When the brake pedals are in the locked position, the
stroller can be stored upright.
* Surface wash with a mild detergent and water. Do not use
bleach. Rinse clean with water to remove residue.
