SERVICE INSTRUCTIONS

Easy Set Tool
Before use, read these instructions carefully, and follow
them for correct use.
How to use the easy set tool
1 Loosen the cable adjusting bolt at the brake
* lever so that there is sufficient clearance for
the brake shoes,

Secure the cable as shown in the illustration.
" Check that the angle between the link wire
and the cable is correct at this time.
Tightening torque:
6 — 8 Nm {53 — 69 In. Ibs.}
3 Attach the easy set tool and then install the
" brake shoes in the correct positions.
Shoe clearance is not needed
Attach to the shoe fixing pins
Tightening torque: — ”
. 8-9 Nm {70-78 in. Ibs.}
4 Turn the cable adjusting bolt clockwise to
" make some clearance between the shoes
and the rim.

5 Turn the spring tension adjustment screw so
* that the cable carrier comes to a position
directly below the outer casing holder.
