Frequently asked questions

You connect the Stereo AV Cable to the "INPUT" connections of your TV or VCR (not "OUTPUT") and then select the appropriate input on your TV/VCR using the INPUT SELECT function.

Ensure the AC Power Supply and power cord are fully plugged in. If the problem persists, disconnect the power for at least 2 minutes to reset the circuit. If still no power, remove all Game Paks, controllers, or accessories and repeat the reset procedure.

Adjust the vertical or horizontal hold controls on your TV until the picture becomes steady. If using an RF connection, ensure you are using a licensed Nintendo RF switch and modulator.

First, slide the Power Switch to the OFF position. Then, place one hand on top of the Control Deck and carefully remove the Game Pak from the Control Deck with the other hand.

Disconnect the controller, then use an unused toothbrush dipped in hot tap water (do not use soap) to lightly scrub around the sticky buttons. Dry with a towel and air dry for at least 2 hours before testing.
