7 Troubleshooting Guide
Cannot Read a SD Card or USB Drive
The photo frame supports SD and USB flash drives using FAT, FAT32, or exFAT file system. Other file systems such as NTFS, HFS, and EXT are not supported. Check to be sure that the SD card or USB drive meets these requirements.
If the photo frame reports errors reading a storage device, it may be necessary to reformat it using a computer. Be sure to copy photos off the storage device before reformatting, as reformatting will permanently erase all contents. Select FAT, FAT32, or exFAT as the file system when reformatting the drive.
Photos are Displayed Sideways
The photo frame displays photos based on the EXIF rotation flag. If no rotation flag is set, the photo frame will display the photo without any rotation applied.
Depending on how the photo was taken, the camera may or may not have placed a rotation flag to indicate the correct display rotation. If a photo is displayed with incorrect rotation, this means the rotation flag for the photo is not correctly set. To fix this, please use a computer to permanently rotate the photo. All modern operating systems including
Windows, MacOS, and Linux have easy to use utilities for permanently rotating photos.
While the photo frame has a “rotate” feature, it is only used for momentary adjustment while displaying the photo; the rotation change will not be saved.
Cannot Play a Video File
The photo frame is compatible with the following video file types:
Video File
AVI
Resolution
