If the appliance drops into water, pull the mains adapter out of the power socket before you reach into the water.

Never touch the mains adapter with wet hands, especially when plugging it in or unplugging it. Risk of electrical shock!

Check the mains adapter and appliance regularly for possible mechanical defects.

Ensure that the cable does not get jammed in cupboard doors or pulled over hot surfaces. If this occurs, the cable insulation may be damaged.

Charging the rechargeable battery with the charger
The battery should be charged for at least 60 minutes before fi rst use.
NOTE
► Ensure that the appliance is switched off before charging the battery.
1) Plug the connector w into the charging socket i of the charger.
Pay heed to the correct polarity: The guide pillar in the charging socket i must grip the guide rail on the connector plug w .
If it does not, the connector plug w cannot be inserted.
2) Flip open the charger z as far as it will go until the bracket is in an upright position (see fi gure).
3) Plug the mains adapter e into a mains socket that complies with the appliance specifi cations.
4) Place the appliance in the charger z . The bracket holds the appliance in place in the charger z .
The charging of the battery is indicated by the red fl ashing symbol 9 .

Cordless shaving
CAUTION! MATERIAL DAMAGE!
► This appliance is not suitable for wet shaving!
This shaver can be used without the power cable. In this case, you must charge the appliance before initial use (see section “Charging the rechargeable battery with/without the charger”).
1) If not already attached, attach the protective collar 4 from the bottom onto the cutting unit 2 (see fold-out page).
2) Fit the cutting unit 2 with the attached protective collar 4 onto the drive shaft 1 . Make sure that the protective collar 4 is fi tted correctly onto the hand element.
3) Remove the protective cap t .
4) Press the ON/OFF button 5 . The symbol of the battery charge indicator 8 and the as soon as the shaver starts up.

NOTE
► The best results are achieved if used on dry skin.
► It can take 2 to 3 weeks until the skin is accustomed to the dry shaving system.
5) Move the shaving heads 3 with straight and circular motions over the skin.
6) After you have covered all the areas you want to shave, press the ON/OFF button 5 . The appliance stops.
The display disappears at once.
7) Clean the shaver after every use with the supplied brush r .

Shaving using the mains adapter
CAUTION! MATERIAL DAMAGE!
► This appliance is not suitable for wet shaving!
Should you wish to use the shaver without fi rst charging the battery, you can do so by using energy directly from the mains adapter e :
1) Plug the connector w into the charging socket q on the shaver.
Pay heed to the correct polarity: The guide pillar in the charging socket q must grip the guide rail on the connector plug w . If it does not, the connector plug w cannot be inserted.
2) Insert the plug into a mains power socket.
The shaver can then be used.
Trimmer/long hair trimmer
To shape your beard, form sideburns or shave eyebrows, use the trimmer unit 6 .
1) Pull the cutting unit 2 , if attached, off the handset.
2) Fit the trimmer unit 6 onto the drive shaft 1 (see fi gure).

3) Attach the trimmer unit 6 in such a way that both guide pillars on the trimmer unit 6 grip the guide rails on the drive shaft 1 .
4) Press the ON/OFF button 5 . The symbol charge indicator 8 and the as soon as the shaver starts up.

5) When you are fi nished trimming, press the on/off switch 5 again to switch the appliance off .
6) Clean the trimmer unit 6 with the supplied brush r .

Travel lock
To prevent the appliance from switching on unintentionally, you can lock the ON/OFF button 5 . This only works if the appliance is not connected to the mains.
♦ Press and hold down the on/off switch 5 until the symbol 0 appears on the display.
If the ON/OFF button 5 is pressed now, the symbol 0 appears briefl y. The appliance however does not switch on.
♦ If you want to unlock your appliance again, press and hold down the ON/OFF button 5 :
– the symbol 0 appears and starts to fl ash for approx.
5 seconds. The display then disappears and the appliance can now be switched on again.

Cleaning and care

► Before cleaning the appliance, disconnect the power plug from the mains power socket! There is a risk of electric shock!
CAUTION! MATERIAL DAMAGE!
► Do not use abrasive, chemical or caustic cleaning agents to clean this appliance. This will irreparably damage the appliance.
Cleaning with the brush
Cutting unit
Clean the 3 shaving heads 3 of the cutting unit 2 after every shave using the brush r .
1) Pull the cutting unit 2 upwards and off the appliance. To do this, grip the ridged areas on the side of cutting unit 2 .
2) Tap the cutting unit 2 on a fl at surface or blow off the hair cuttings.
3) Use the brush r to remove any remaining hair cuttings.
Trimmer unit
■ Clean the trimmer unit after every shave using the supplied brush r .
■ Oil the long hair trimmer 7 around every 6 months with a drop of sewing machine oil.

Cleaning under running water
The cutting unit 2 is suitable for cleaning under running water.
1) Pull the cutting unit 2 off the handset.
2) Hold the cutting unit 2 under the running water so that the water fl ows through the shaving heads 3 from the inside to the outside.
CAUTION! MATERIAL DAMAGE!
► Ensure that only the shaver unit 2 is under the stream of water!
The shaver handset is only protected against water splashes and can be irreparably damaged if it is held under running water.
3) Allow the cutting unit 2 to dry out completely before using the shaver again.

Thorough cleaning
For a thorough cleaning, remove the shaving heads 3 :
1) Pull the cutting unit 2 off the handset and turn it around.
2) Press the two catches on one of the black shaving head fi xtures and, at the same time, pull this up and out of the cutting unit 2 . Proceed in the same way with the other two shaving head fi xtures. You can now disassemble all of the parts (blade, shaving head 3 ).

3) Clean all parts under running water and then allow them to dry fully.
4) Replace the cutting unit 2 . Ensure that all of the parts grip into each other correctly:

– First, put the shaving head 3 into the cutting unit 2 . The small recesses on the edge of the shaving head 3 must lie over the protrusions in the cutting unit 2 so that the shaving head 3 slides correctly into the cutting unit 2 .
– Place the blade in the middle of the shaving head 3 .
– Press the catches on the shaving head fi xture together a little and replace it in the cutting unit 2 . Ensure that the shaving head fi xture is engaged when you release the catches.
5) Remove loose hairs from the shaver with the brush r .
6) Replace the cutting unit 2 on the shaver. Ensure that it snaps into place and is seated fi rmly.
■ Clean the housing and the mains adapter e with a moist cloth.
NOTE
If...
– ... the shaving result is noticeably poorer, ...
– ... you have to the shave the same spot repeatedly to achieve a good result, ...
– ... the shave takes much longer than usual, ...
– ... there is visible damage to the shaving heads 3 , ...
... you must change the shaving heads 3 .

Storage
■ Always replace the protective cap t onto the cutting unit 2 when you are not using the appliance.
■ Store the everything in a clean, dust-free and dry place.

Disposal
Never dispose of the appliance in the normal domestic waste. This product is subject to the provisions of European Directive 2012/19/EU.
Dispose of the appliance via an approved waste disposal company or your municipal waste disposal facility. Please observe applicable regulations. Please contact your waste disposal facility if you are in any doubt.
Disposal of (rechargeable) batteries
To dispose of the appliance in an environmentally friendly way, you must remove the battery from the appliance:
CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE!
► Remove the battery from the appliance only if you want to scrap/dispose of the appliance! The appliance is permanently defective after you have removed the battery!
1) To remove the rechargeable battery from the handset, remove the small screw from the back of the handset with a Phillips screwdriver.
2) Pull the back cover off the handset.
3) Lever out the internal housing, for instance with a screwdriver.
Before the internal housing can be levered out, you may need to remove additional screws, snap off the side and bottom mountings or bend them outwards. Preferably use a fl at-head screwdriver to do this.
4) After you have removed the internal housing:
Snap the mountings of the clear plastic cover off on the sides.

5) Now remove everything until you can access the battery.
6) Lever out the rechargeable battery.
7) Dispose of the battery in an environmentally friendly manner.
Used batteries may not be disposed of in household waste.
Consumers are legally obliged to dispose of (rechargeable) batteries at a collection point in their community/city district or at a retail store. The purpose of this requirement is to ensure that batteries are disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner. Only dispose of batteries when they are fully discharged.
The packaging is made of environmentally friendly materials which you can dispose of at your local recycling centre.

If this product has any faults, you, the buyer, have certain statutory rights.
Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way by the warranty described below.
Warranty conditions
The validity period of the warranty starts from the date of purchase.
Please keep your original receipt in a safe place. This document will be required as proof of purchase.
If any material or production fault occurs within three years of the date of purchase of the product, we will either repair or replace the product for you at our discretion. This warranty service is dependent on you presenting the defective appliance and the proof of purchase (receipt) and a short written description of the fault and its time of occurrence.

If the defect is covered by the warranty, your product will either be repaired or replaced by us. The repair or replacement of a product does not signify the beginning of a new warranty period.
Warranty period and statutory claims for defects
The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs eff ected under the warranty. This also applies to replaced and repaired components. Any damage and defects present at the time of purchase must be reported immediately after unpacking. Repairs carried out after expiry of the warranty period shall be subject to a fee.
Scope of the warranty
This appliance has been manufactured in accordance with strict quality guidelines and inspected meticulously prior to delivery.
The warranty covers material faults or production faults. The warranty does not extend to product parts subject to normal wear and tear or fragile parts such as switches, batteries, baking moulds or parts made of glass.
The warranty does not apply if the product has been damaged, improperly used or improperly maintained. The directions in the operating instructions for the product regarding proper use of the product are to be strictly followed. Uses and actions that are discouraged in the operating instructions or which are warned against must be avoided.
This product is intended solely for private use and not for commercial purposes. The warranty shall be deemed void in cases of misuse or improper handling, use of force and modifi cations/repairs which have not been carried out by one of our authorised Service centres.

Aufl aden des Akkus mit Ladestation
Vor der ersten Anwendung sollte der Akku mindestens 60 Minuten aufgeladen werden.
HINWEIS
► Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Gerät ausgeschaltet ist, bevor Sie den Akku aufl aden.
1) Stecken Sie den Verbindungsstecker w in die Ladebuchse i der Ladestation.
Achten Sie auf die richtige Polung: Der Führungsstab in der
Ladebuchse i muss in die Führungsschiene am Verbindungsstecker w greifen. Sonst lässt sich der Verbindungsstecker w nicht einstecken.
2) Klappen Sie die Ladestation z soweit auseinander, bis der
Haltebügel in einer aufrechten Position ist (siehe Abbildung).
3) Stecken Sie den Netzadapter e in eine zu den Gerätevorgaben passende Steckdose.
4) Stellen Sie das Gerät in die Ladestation z . Das Gerät wird von dem Haltebügel der Ladestation z gehalten.
Die Akkuladung wird durch das rot blinkende Symbol 9 angezeigt.

■ Sobald der Akku voll geladen ist, erlischt das rot blinkende
Symbol 9 und das blaue Symbol der Akku-Ladestandsanzeige 8 leuchtet auf.
■ Mit voll geladenem Akku können Sie das Gerät bis zu ca. 60
Minuten ohne Anschluss an das Stromnetz betreiben.
■ Ist der Akku fast leer, blinkt das rote Symbol 9 .
Aufl aden des Akkus ohne Ladestation
HINWEIS

Kabelloses Rasieren
ACHTUNG! SACHSCHADEN!
► Dieses Gerät ist nicht zur Nassrasur geeignet!
Sie können den Rasierer kabellos verwenden. In diesem Fall müssen
Sie das Gerät vor dem ersten Gebrauch aufl aden (siehe Kapitel
„Aufl aden des Akkus mit/ohne Ladestation“).
1) Stecken Sie, falls nicht aufgesteckt, den Schutzkragen 4 von unten auf die Schereinheit 2 (siehe Ausklappseite Abb. A).
2) Stecken Sie die Schereinheit 2 mit aufgesetztem Schutzkragen 4 auf die Antriebswelle 1 . Achten Sie darauf, dass der Schutzkragen 4 korrekt auf dem Handteil aufl iegt.
3) Nehmen Sie die Schutzkappe t ab.
4) Drücken Sie die Ein-/Aus-Taste 5 . Das Symbol der Akku-
Ladestandsanzeige 8 und das - Logo wird angezeigt, sobald der Rasierer startet.
HINWEIS
► Die besten Ergebnisse erzielen Sie bei trockener Haut.
► Es kann 2 bis 3 Wochen dauern, bis sich die Haut an das
Schersystem gewöhnt hat.
5) Führen Sie die Scherköpfe 3 mit geraden und kreisenden Bewegungen über die Haut.
6) Wenn Sie alle zu rasierenden Stellen behandelt haben, drücken
Sie die Ein-/Aus-Taste 5 . Das Gerät stoppt und das Display erlischt.
7) Reinigen Sie den Rasierer nach jeder Rasur mit dem mitgelieferten Pinsel r .

Rasieren mit Netzadapter
ACHTUNG! SACHSCHADEN!
► Dieses Gerät ist nicht zur Nassrasur geeignet!
Wenn Sie den Rasierer benutzen wollen, ohne ihn vorher zu laden, können Sie den Rasierer auch direkt mit dem Netzadapter e verwenden:
1) Stecken Sie den Verbindungsstecker w in die Ladebuchse q am Rasierapparat. Achten Sie auf die richtige Polung: Der Führungsstab in der Ladebuchse q muss in die Führungsschiene am
Verbindungsstecker w greifen. Sonst lässt sich der Verbindungsstecker w nicht einstecken.
2) Verbinden Sie den Netzstecker mit einer Netzsteckdose.
Sie können den Rasierer dann verwenden.
Trimmer / Langhaarschneider
Um einen Bart in Form zu bringen, Koteletten zu formen oder Augenbrauen zu rasieren, benutzen Sie die Trimmereinheit 6 .
1) Ziehen Sie die Schereinheit 2 , falls aufgesetzt, vom Handgerät ab.
2) Stecken Sie die Trimmereinheit 6 auf die Antriebswelle 1
(siehe Abbildung).

3) Stecken Sie die Trimmereinheit 6 so auf, dass die beiden Führungsstäbe an der Trimmereinheit 6 in die Führungsschienen an der Antriebswelle 1 greifen.
4) Drücken Sie die Ein-/Aus-Taste 5 . Das Symbol der Akku-
Ladestandsanzeige 8 und das - Logo wird angezeigt, sobald der Rasierer startet.
5) Wenn Sie mit dem Trimmen fertig sind, drücken Sie noch einmal die Ein-/Aus-Taste 5 , um das Gerät auszuschalten.
6) Reinigen Sie die Trimmereinheit 6 mit dem mitgelieferten Pinsel r .
Für eine gründliche Reinigung lesen Sie das Kapitel „Reinigung und Pfl ege“.
Reisesicherung
Um das Gerät vor unbeabsichtigtem Einschalten zu schützen, können
Sie die Ein-/Aus-Taste 5 sperren. Dies funktioniert jedoch nur, wenn das Gerät nicht mit dem Stromnetz verbunden ist.
♦ Drücken und halten Sie die Ein-/Aus-Taste 5 solange, bis im
Display das Symbol 0 erscheint.
Wenn nun die Ein-/Aus-Taste 5 gedrückt wird, erscheint kurz das Symbol 0 . Das Gerät schaltet sich jedoch nicht ein.
♦ Wenn Sie die Sperrung wieder aufheben wollen, drücken und halten Sie die Ein-/Aus-Taste 5 :
– das Symbol 0 erscheint und fängt für ca. 5 Sekunden an zu blinken. Danach erlischt das Display und das Gerät lässt sich nun wieder einschalten.

Reinigung und Pfl ege
GEFAHR - ELEKTRISCHER SCHLAG!
► Ziehen Sie vor jeder Reinigung den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose! Es besteht die Gefahr eines elektrischen Schlages!
ACHTUNG! SACHSCHADEN!
► Benutzen Sie keine scheuernden, chemischen oder ätzenden
Reinigungsmittel um das Gerät zu reinigen. Das führt zu irreparablen Schäden am Gerät.
Reinigung mit dem Pinsel
Schereinheit
Reinigen Sie nach jeder Rasur die 3 Scherköpfe 3 an der Schereinheit
2 mit dem Pinsel r .
1) Ziehen Sie die Schereinheit 2 nach oben vom Gerät ab. Fassen
Sie dazu an die leicht geriff elten Stellen an der Seite der Schereinheit 2 .
2) Klopfen Sie die Schereinheit 2 vorsichtig auf einer ebenen
Fläche aus bzw. blasen Sie die Haarteilchen ab.
3) Benutzen Sie den Pinsel r , um verbliebene Haarteilchen zu entfernen.
Trimmeinheit
■ Reinigen Sie die Trimmeinheit nach jeder Rasur mit dem Pinsel r .
■ Ölen Sie die Langhaarschneider 7 ca. alle 6 Monate mit einem
Tropfen Nähmaschinenöl.

Reinigung unter fl ießendem Wasser
Die Schereinheit 2 ist zur Reinigung unter fl ießendem Wasser geeignet.
1) Ziehen Sie die Schereinheit 2 vom Handgerät ab.
2) Halten Sie die Schereinheit 2 so unter den Wasserstrahl, dass das Wasser von innen nach außen durch die Scherköpfe 3 fl ießt.
ACHTUNG! SACHSCHADEN!
► Achten Sie darauf, nur die Schereinheit 2 unter den Wasserstrahl zu halten! Das Handteil des Rasierers ist nur gegen
Spritzwasser geschützt und kann irreparabel beschädigt werden, wenn es unter fl ießendes Wasser gehalten wird.
3) Lassen Sie die Schereinheit 2 trocknen, bevor Sie den Rasierer wieder benutzen.

Gründliche Reinigung
Für die gründliche Reinigung, nehmen Sie die Scherköpfe 3 ab:
1) Ziehen Sie die Schereinheit 2 vom Handgerät ab und drehen Sie sie um.
2) Drücken Sie die beiden Entriegelungen an einem der schwarzen
Scherkopffi xierern zusammen und ziehen Sie diesen gleichzeitig nach oben aus der Schereinheit 2 heraus. Verfahren Sie mit den anderen beiden Scherkopffi xieren genauso. Sie können nun alle Teile (Messer, Scherkopf 3 ) auseinander nehmen.

3) Reinigen Sie alle Teile unter fl ießendem Wasser und lassen Sie sie vollständig trocknen.
4) Bauen Sie die Schereinheit 2 wieder zusammen. Achten Sie darauf, dass alle Teile wieder korrekt ineinander greifen:

– Setzen Sie zuerst den Scherkopf 3 in die Schereinheit 2 . Die kleinen Aussparungen am Rand des Scherkopfes 3 müssen an den Vorsprüngen in der Schereinheit 2 liegen, damit der
Scherkopf 3 korrekt in die Schereinheit 2 rutscht.
– Legen Sie das Messer mittig in den Scherkopf 3 .
– Drücken Sie die beiden Entriegelungen an dem Scherkopffi xierer etwas zusammen und setzen Sie diesen wieder in die
Schereinheit 2 ein. Achten Sie darauf, dass der Scherkopffi xierer einrastet, wenn Sie die Entriegelungen lösen.
5) Entfernen Sie lose Haare mit dem Pinsel r aus dem Rasierer.
6) Setzen Sie die Schereinheit 2 wieder auf den Rasierer. Achten
Sie darauf, dass diese einrastet und fest sitzt.
■ Reinigen Sie das Gehäuse und den Netzadapter e mit einem feuchten Tuch.
HINWEIS
Wenn...
– ... die Rasur spürbar schlechter wird,...
– ... Sie den Rasierer mehrmals über die gleiche Stelle führen müssen, um ein gutes Ergebnis zu erzielen,...
– ... die Rasur deutlich länger dauert,...
– ... Beschädigungen an den Scherköpfen 3 sichtbar sind,...
... müssen die Scherköpfe 3 gewechselt werden.
Bitte wenden Sie sich an den Service, wenn Sie Scherköpfe
3 bestellen wollen.
Aufbewahrung
■ Stecken Sie immer die Schutzkappe t auf die Schereinheit 2 , wenn Sie das Gerät nicht benutzen.
■ Lagern Sie alles an einem sauberen, staubfreien und trockenen Ort.

Entsorgung
Werfen Sie das Gerät keinesfalls in den normalen Hausmüll. Dieses Produkt unterliegt der europäischen Richtlinie 2012/19/EU.
Entsorgen Sie das Gerät über einen zugelassenen Entsorgungsbetrieb oder über Ihre kommunale Entsorgungseinrichtung. Beachten
Sie die aktuell geltenden Vorschriften. Setzen Sie sich im Zweifelsfall mit Ihrer Entsorgungseinrichtung in Verbindung.
Batterien/Akkus entsorgen
Um das Gerät umweltgerecht zu entsorgen, müssen Sie den Akku aus dem Gerät entfernen:
ACHTUNG - SACHSCHADEN!
► Entnehmen Sie den Akku nur aus dem Gerät, wenn Sie das
Gerät entsorgen/verschrotten wollen! Das Gerät ist defekt, wenn Sie den Akku ausgebaut haben!
1) Um den Akku aus dem Handgerät zu entfernen, entfernen Sie die kleine Schraube an der Rückseite des Handgeräts mit einem
Kreuzschlitzschraubendreher.
2) Ziehen Sie die hintere Abdeckung des Handteils ab.
3) Hebeln Sie das Innengehäuse, zum Beispiel mit einem Schraubendreher, heraus. Eventuell müssen Sie, bevor sich das
Innengehäuse herauslösen lässt, weitere Schrauben entfernen, die seitlichen und die unteren Halterungen abbrechen oder nach außen biegen. Benutzen Sie dafür am besten einen Schlitzschraubendreher.
4) Wenn Sie das Innengehäuse herausgenommen haben:
Brechen Sie die Halterungen der durchsichtigen Plastikabdeckung an den Seiten ab.

5) Entfernen Sie jetzt soweit alles, bis Sie an die Batterie gelangen.
6) Hebeln Sie den Akku heraus.
7) Entsorgen Sie den Akku umweltgerecht.
Batterien/Akkus dürfen nicht im Hausmüll entsorgt werden.
Jeder Verbraucher ist gesetzlich verpfl ichtet, Batterien/
Akkus bei einer Sammelstelle seiner Gemeinde / seines
Stadtteils oder im Handel abzugeben. Diese Verpfl ichtung dient dazu, dass Batterien/Akkus einer umweltschonenden
Entsorgung zugeführt werden können. Geben Sie Batterien/
Akkus nur im entladenen Zustand zurück.
Die Verpackung besteht aus umweltfreundlichen Materialien, die Sie über die örtlichen Recyclingstellen entsorgen können.

Wenn der Defekt von unserer Garantie gedeckt ist, erhalten Sie das reparierte oder ein neues Produkt zurück. Mit Reparatur oder Austausch des Produkts beginnt kein neuer Garantiezeitraum.
Garantiezeit und gesetzliche Mängelansprüche
Die Garantiezeit wird durch die Gewährleistung nicht verlängert. Dies gilt auch für ersetzte und reparierte Teile. Eventuell schon beim Kauf vorhandene Schäden und Mängel müssen sofort nach dem Auspacken gemeldet werden. Nach Ablauf der Garantiezeit anfallende Reparaturen sind kostenpfl ichtig.
Garantieumfang
Das Gerät wurde nach strengen Qualitätsrichtlinien sorgfältig produziert und vor Auslieferung gewissenhaft geprüft.
Die Garantieleistung gilt für Material- oder Fabrikationsfehler. Diese
Garantie erstreckt sich nicht auf Produktteile, die normaler Abnutzung ausgesetzt sind und daher als Verschleißteile angesehen werden können oder für Beschädigungen an zerbrechlichen Teilen, z. B. Schalter, Akkus,
Backformen oder Teile die aus Glas gefertigt sind.
Diese Garantie verfällt, wenn das Produkt beschädigt, nicht sachgemäß benutzt oder gewartet wurde. Für eine sachgemäße Benutzung des Produkts sind alle in der Bedienungsanleitung aufgeführten Anweisungen genau einzuhalten. Verwendungszwecke und Handlungen, von denen in der Bedienungsanleitung abgeraten oder vor denen gewarnt wird, sind unbedingt zu vermeiden.
Das Produkt ist nur für den privaten und nicht für den gewerblichen Gebrauch bestimmt. Bei missbräuchlicher und unsachgemäßer Behandlung,
Gewaltanwendung und bei Eingriff en, die nicht von unserer autorisierten Service-Niederlassung vorgenommen wurden, erlischt die Garantie.
