Sie haben sich damit für ein hochwertiges Produkt entschieden. Die Bedienungsanleitung ist Bestandteil dieses Produkts. Sie enthält wichtige Hinweise für

Sicherheit, Gebrauch und Entsorgung. Machen Sie sich vor der Benutzung des

Produkts mit allen Bedien- und Sicherheitshinweisen vertraut. Benutzen Sie das

Produkt nur wie beschrieben und für die angegebenen Einsatzbereiche. Händigen Sie alle Unterlagen bei Weitergabe des Produkts an Dritte mit aus.

Der Haarglätter dient zum Glätten von menschlichen Haaren, keinesfalls für

Perücken und Haarteile aus synthetischem Material. Sie dürfen das Gerät ausschließlich für private Zwecke verwenden. Beachten Sie alle Informationen in dieser Bedienungsanleitung, insbesondere die Sicherheitshinweise. Dieses Gerät ist nicht für den gewerblichen Einsatz bestimmt.

Eine andere oder darüber hinausgehende Benutzung gilt als nicht bestimmungsgemäß. Ansprüche jeglicher Art wegen Schäden aus nicht bestimmungsgemäßer

Verwendung sind ausgeschlossen. Das Risiko trägt allein der Benutzer.

Sicherheitshinweise

Schließen Sie das Gerät nur an eine vorschriftsmäßig installierte Netzsteckdose mit einer Netzspannung von 220 - 240 V ~ / 50 Hz an.

Ziehen Sie bei Betriebsstörungen und bevor Sie das Gerät reinigen, den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose.

► Ziehen Sie das Netzkabel stets am Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose, ziehen Sie nicht am Kabel selbst.

►

Achten Sie darauf, dass im Betrieb das Netzkabel nicht nass oder feucht wird. Führen Sie es so, dass es nicht eingeklemmt oder beschädigt werden kann.

► Sollte das Gerät, das Netzkabel oder der Netzstecker beschädigt sein, lassen Sie diese durch den Kundendienst ersetzen, um

Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.

►

Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht im Freien.

►

Verwenden Sie kein Verlängerungskabel, damit im Notfall der

Netzstecker schnell zu erreichen ist.

► Fassen Sie das Gerät, Netzkabel und -stecker nie mit nassen

Händen an.

►

Knicken oder quetschen Sie das Netzkabel nicht und verlegen

Sie das Netzkabel so, dass niemand darauf treten oder darüber stolpern kann.

► Wickeln Sie das Netzkabel nicht um das Gerät und schützen Sie es vor Beschädigungen. Sie dürfen das Gerät keinesfalls in eine

Flüssigkeit tauchen und keine Flüssigkeiten in das Gerätegehäuse gelangen lassen. Sie dürfen das Gerät keiner Feuchtigkeit aussetzen und nicht im Freien benutzen. Falls doch einmal Flüssigkeit in das

Gerätegehäuse gelangt, ziehen Sie sofort den Netzstecker des

Geräts aus der Netzsteckdose und lassen Sie es von qualifi ziertem

Fachpersonal reparieren.

► Trennen Sie das Gerät sofort nach dem Gebrauch vom Stromnetz.

Nur wenn Sie den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose ziehen, ist es vollständig stromfrei.

STROMSCHLAGGEFAHR

Verwenden Sie das Gerät niemals in der Nähe von Wasser, insbesondere nicht in der Nähe von Waschbecken, Badewannen oder ähnlichen Gefäßen. Die Nähe von Wasser stellt eine

Gefahr dar, auch wenn das Gerät ausgeschaltet ist. Ziehen

Sie daher nach jedem Gebrauch den Netzstecker. Als zusätzlicher Schutz wird Ihnen die Installation einer Fehlerstrom-

Schutzeinrichtung mit einem Bemessungsauslösestrom von nicht mehr als 30 mA im Badezimmer-Stromkreis empfohlen.

Fragen Sie Ihren Elektroinstallateur um Rat.

Lassen Sie das eingeschaltete Gerät niemals unbeaufsichtigt.

► Legen Sie das Gerät nie in die Nähe von Wärmequellen und schützen Sie das Netzkabel vor Beschädigungen.

► Falls das Gerät heruntergefallen oder beschädigt ist, dürfen Sie es nicht mehr in Betrieb nehmen. Lassen Sie das Gerät von qualifi ziertem Fachpersonal überprüfen und gegebenenfalls reparieren.

►

Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren sowie von Personen mit reduzierten physischen, sensorischen oder mentalen Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung und/oder Wissen benutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes unterwiesen wurden und die daraus resultierenden

Gefahren verstanden haben.

Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.

► Reinigung und Benutzer-Wartung dürfen nicht durch Kinder durchgeführt werden, es sei denn, sie sind beaufsichtigt.

► Sie dürfen das Gerätegehäuse nicht selbst öff nen oder reparieren. In diesem Falle ist die Sicherheit nicht gegeben und die

Gewährleistung erlischt. Lassen Sie das defekte Gerät nur von autorisiertem Fachpersonal reparieren.

►

Das Gerät erhitzt sich während des Betriebs.

Fassen Sie es im heißen Zustand nur am Griff an.

Lieferumfang

Das Gerät wird standardmäßig mit folgenden Komponenten geliefert:

1) Entnehmen Sie alle Teile des Gerätes und die Bedienungsanleitung aus der

Verpackung.

2) Entfernen Sie sämtliches Verpackungsmaterial.

3) Reinigen Sie alle Teile des Gerätes wie im Kapitel „Reinigung“ beschrieben.

HINWEIS

► Prüfen Sie die Lieferung auf Vollständigkeit und auf sichtbare Schäden.

► Bei einer unvollständigen Lieferung oder Schäden infolge mangelhafter

Verpackung oder durch Transport wenden Sie sich an die Service-Hotline

(siehe Kapitel „Service“).

Entsorgung der Verpackung

Die Verpackung schützt das Gerät vor Transportschäden. Die Verpackungsmaterialien sind nach umweltverträglichen und entsorgungstechnischen Gesichtspunkten ausgewählt und deshalb recyclebar.

Die Rückführung der Verpackung in den Materialkreislauf spart Rohstoff e und verringert das Abfallaufkommen. Entsorgen Sie nicht mehr benötigte Verpackungsmaterialien gemäß den örtlich geltenden Vorschriften.

HINWEIS

► Heben Sie, wenn möglich, die Originalverpackung während der Garantiezeit des Gerätes auf, um das Gerät im Garantiefall ordnungsgemäß verpacken zu können.

Vor dem Glätten

■ Das Haar sollte sauber, trocken und frei von Stylingprodukten sein. Ausgenommen sind spezielle Produkte, die das Glätten des Haares unterstützen.

■ Kämmen Sie das Haar vor dem Glätten gründlich, damit sich keine Knoten im Haar befi nden.

HINWEIS

► Die Heizplatten 6 müssen frei von Verschmutzungen sein. Reinigen Sie diese vor Benutzung gegebenenfalls (siehe Kapitel „Reinigung“).

Das Gerät ist verriegelt, die Verriegelung 4 ist an der Seite hineingedrückt.

1) Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine Netzsteckdose.

2) Drücken Sie die Taste Ein/Aus 3 solange, bis das Display 1 leuchtet. Das

Display 1 zeigt die eingestellte Temperatur an. Die Farbe des Displays 1 zeigt, ob die Temperatur schon erreicht ist:

– rot: die Temperatur ist noch nicht erreicht.

– blau: die eingestellte Temperatur ist erreicht.

3) Wählen Sie die für Ihre Haare passende Temperatur:

– 130 - 140°C, minimale Heizstufe, für sehr feines Haar.

– 140 - 160°C, niedrige Heizstufe, für feines Haar.

– 160 - 180°C, mittlere Heizstufe, für normales Haar.

– 180°C- MAX, höchste Heizstufe, für kräftiges und schwer in Form zu bringendes Haar.

Drücken Sie die Taste Temperatur 2 an der mit „+“ markierten Seite, um die

Temperatur zu erhöhen. Drücken Sie die Taste Temperatur 2 an der mit „-“ markierten Seite, um die Temperatur zu verringern.

4) Sobald das Display 1 sich blau färbt, ist die eingestellte Temperatur erreicht.

5) Drücken Sie die Heizplatten 6 zusammen und gleichzeitig die Verriegelung 4 an der Seite hinein. Der Haarglätter lässt sich nun öff nen.

HINWEIS

► Dieses Gerät hat eine Memory-Funktion. Das bedeutet, dass bei jedem

Einschalten die bei der letzten Benutzung eingestellte Temperatur als Starttemperatur vorgegeben wird.

Haare glätten

HINWEIS

► Dieser Haarglätter ist mit einer Ionisierungs-Funktion ausgestattet. Die Ionisierungs-Funktion sorgt dafür, dass statische Ladung der Haare neutralisiert und aufgehoben wird. Das Haar wird weich, geschmeidig, glänzend und leichter zu frisieren. Die Ionisierungs-Funktion wird automatisch eingeschaltet, sobald Sie den Haarglätter benutzen.

1) Bereiten Sie das Haar, wie unter „Vor dem Glätten“ beschrieben, vor.

2) Fangen Sie mit den unteren Haarpartien am Hinterkopf an. Arbeiten Sie sich

über die Seiten nach vorne:

Teilen Sie eine ca. 2 cm breite Haarsträhne ab und klemmen Sie das Ende straff zwischen Zeige- und Mittelfi nger der Hand, mit der Sie nicht den

Haarglätter führen.

WARNUNG! VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR!

► Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie mit den Heizplatten 6 nicht die Kopfhaut berühren. Verbrennungsgefahr! Sie dürfen während des Betriebes das Gerät nur am Griff anfassen! Verbrennungsgefahr!

3) Klemmen Sie die Haarsträhne nahe der Kopfhaut zwischen die Heizplatten 6 und drücken Sie diese zusammen.

4) Ziehen Sie die ganze Haarsträhne durch die Heizplatten 6 , indem Sie den

Haarglätter zügig vom Haaransatz zu den Spitzen nach unten ziehen.

5) Verfahren Sie so mit jeder einzelnen Strähne.

6) Wenn Sie alle Strähnen geglättet haben, drücken Sie die Taste Ein/Aus 3 solange, bis die Beleuchtung des Displays 1 erlischt. OFF erscheint im Display 1 und die Anzeige HOT blinkt solange, bis sich das Gerät abgekühlt hat.

7) Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose. Alle Displayanzeigen erlöschen.

8) Drücken Sie die Heizplatten 6 zusammen und drücken Sie die Verriegelung 4 an der Seite

hinein.

Sicherheits-Abschaltung

Dieses Gerät ist mit einer Sicherheits-Abschaltung ausgestattet.

Nach ca. 30 Minuten ohne Betätigung einer Taste schaltet sich das Gerät automatisch aus. Nach ca. 25 Minuten beginnt das Display 1 abwechselnd rot und blau zu blinken, um Sie an die automatische Abschaltung zu erinnern. Wenn sich das Display nach 30 Minuten ausgeschaltet hat, erscheint im Display „Auto-Off “ und „hot“.

Wenn Sie das Gerät länger als 30 Minuten benutzen wollen, betätigen Sie, vor Ablauf der 30 Minuten, eine beliebige Taste. Die 30 Minuten beginnen dann von vorne.

HINWEIS

► Die Sicherheits-Abschaltung ersetzt nicht das manuelle Ausschalten mit der Taste Ein/Aus 3 ! Sie dient nur Ihrer Sicherheit, falls das Abschalten vergessen wird!

Reinigung

STROMSCHLAGGEFAHR

► Bevor Sie das Gerät reinigen, ziehen Sie immer den Netzstecker aus der

Netzsteckdose.

► Sie dürfen das Gerät bei der Reinigung keinesfalls in Wasser oder andere

Flüssigkeiten tauchen!

WARNUNG - VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR!

► Lassen Sie das Gerät vor der Reinigung ausreichend abkühlen.

ACHTUNG - SACHSCHADEN!

► Benutzen Sie keine aggressiven Reinigungsmittel oder Lösemittel. Diese könnten die Oberfl äche beschädigen.

1) Wischen Sie das Gerät mit einem feuchten Tuch ab.

2) Bei hartnäckigeren Verschmutzungen geben Sie ein mildes Reinigungsmittel auf das Tuch. Entfernen Sie Reinigungsmittelrückstände mit einem mit Wasser befeuchteten Tuch.

3) Lassen Sie das Gerät gut trocknen, bevor Sie es wieder verwenden.

Aufbewahren

■ Legen Sie das Gerät zum Auskühlen immer auf eine hitzunempfi ndliche

Oberfl äche oder hängen Sie das Gerät an der Aufhängeöse auf.

Wenn Sie das Gerät für längere Zeit nicht benutzen:

■ Reinigen Sie das Gerät wie im Kapitel „Reinigung“ beschrieben.

■ Drücken Sie die Heizplatten 6 zusammen und drücken Sie die Verriegelung 4 an der Seite

hinein.

■ Bewahren Sie das Gerät an einem trocknen und sauberen Ort auf.

Fehlerbehebung

Problem

Das Gerät funktioniert nicht.

Die Haare lassen sich

nicht glätten.

Das Haar ist versengt.

Ursache

Der Netzstecker steckt nicht in der

Verbinden Sie das

Das Haar wurde zu lange zwischen den Heizplatten festgehalten.

Werfen Sie das Gerät keinesfalls in den normalen Hausmüll.

Ihre kommunale Entsorgungseinrichtung. Beachten Sie die aktuell geltenden

Vorschriften. Setzen Sie sich im Zweifelsfall mit Ihrer Entsorgungseinrichtung in

Verbindung.

Sie sich im Garantiefall mit Ihrer Servicestelle telefonisch in Verbindung. Nur so kann eine kostenlose Einsendung Ihrer Ware gewährleistet werden.

► Die Garantieleistung gilt nur für Material- oder Fabrikationsfehler, nicht aber für Transportschäden, Verschleißteile oder für Beschädigungen an zerbrechlichen Teilen, z. B. Schaltern.

Consignes de sécurité

RISQUE D'ÉLECTROCUTION

► Raccordez l'appareil uniquement sur une prise secteur installée en bonne et due forme avec une tension secteur de 220 - 240 V ~ /

50 Hz.

►

En cas de dysfonctionnements et avant de nettoyer l'appareil, débranchez la fi che secteur de la prise secteur.

► Retirez toujours la fi che secteur de la prise secteur, sans tirer sur le câble lui-même.

►

Veillez à ce que le câble secteur ne soit pas mouillé ou humide pendant le fonctionnement. Guidez-le de telle manière qu'il ne soit ni coincé ni endommagé.

► Si l'appareil, le câble de raccordement ou la fi che secteur est endommagée, veuillez le/la faire remplacer par le service aprèsvente pour éviter tous risques.

►

N’utilisez pas l’appareil à l’extérieur.

► N'utilisez pas de câble de rallonge, afi n que la fi che secteur soit facilement accessible en cas d'urgence.

►

Ne saisissez jamais l'appareil, le câble secteur et la fi che secteur avec les mains mouillées.

►

Ne pliez ou ne coincez pas le câble secteur et posez le câble secteur de telle manière que personne ne puisse marcher ou trébucher dessus.

►

N’enroulez pas le câble secteur autour de l’appareil et protégez-le contre le risque d’endommagement. Vous ne devez en aucun cas plonger l’appareil dans l’eau ni laisser pénétrer du liquide dans le boîtier de l’appareil. Il est interdit d’exposer l’appareil à l’humidité et de l’utiliser à l’extérieur. Si toutefois du liquide pénètre dans le boîtier de l’appareil, débranchez immédiatement la fi che de la prise secteur et faites-le réparer par un technicien spécialisé.

► Après utilisation, débranchez immédiatement l’appareil du réseau

électrique. L’appareil n’est entièrement hors tension qu’à partir du moment où la fi che est débranchée de la prise secteur.

RISQUE D'ÉLECTROCUTION

N'utilisez jamais l'appareil à proximité de l'eau, en particulier

à proximité d'un lavabo, d'une baignoire ou de récipients similaires. La proximité d'eau représente un danger, même si l'appareil est éteint. Pour cette raison, débranchez l'appareil après chaque utilisation. A titre de protection supplémentaire, nous recommandons l'installation d'un relais disjoncteur contre le courant de fuite avec un seuil de déclenchement inférieur ou

égal à 30 mA dans le circuit électrique de la salle de bains.

Accessoires fournis

L’appareil est équipé par défaut des composants suivants :

1) Sortir de l’emballage les pièces de l’appareil et le mode d’emploi.

2) Retirer tous les matériaux d’emballage.

3) Nettoyer toutes les pièces de l’appareil comme indiqué au chapitre

«Nettoyage».

REMARQUE

► Vérifi ez que la livraison est bien complète et qu'elle ne présente pas de dommages apparents.

► En cas de livraison incomplète ou de dommages résultant d'un emballage défectueux ou du transport, veuillez vous adresser à la hotline du service après-vente (cf. le chapitre «Service après-vente»).

Recyclage de l’emballage

L’emballage protège l’appareil de tous dommages éventuels au cours du transport.

Les matériaux d’emballage sont sélectionnés selon des critères écologiques et de solutions de recyclage et peuvent par conséquent être recyclés.

Le retour de l’emballage dans les fi lières de recyclage permet d’économiser les matières premières et réduit la formation de déchets. Remettre les matériaux d’emballage qui ne sont plus utilisés dans les points de collecte prévus par la réglementation.

REMARQUE

► Dans la mesure du possible, conservez l'emballage d'origine pendant la période sous garantie, afi n de pouvoir emballer l'appareil en bonne et due forme pour l'expédition si vous étiez amené à faire valoir la garantie.

Avant le lissage

■ Les cheveux doivent être propres, secs, et exempts de produits coiff ants.

L’exception à cette règle sont les produits spéciaux qui contribuent au lissage des cheveux.

■ Peignez soigneusement vos cheveux avant le lissage afi n de n’avoir aucun nœud dans les cheveux.

REMARQUE

► Les plaques chauff antes 6 ne doivent pas présenter de salissures. Le cas

échéant, nettoyez-les avant usage (cf. le chapitre «Nettoyage»).

L’appareil est verrouillé, la fermeture 4 est enclenchée sur le côté .

1) Enfi chez la fi che secteur dans une prise électrique.

2) Appuyez sur la touche Marche/Arrêt 3 jusqu’à ce que l’écran 1 soit allumé. L’écran 1 indique la température réglée. La couleur de l’écran 1 indique si la température a déjà été atteinte :

– rouge : la température n’est pas encore atteinte.

– bleu : la température réglée est atteinte.

3) Sélectionnez la température adaptée pour votre chevelure :

– 130 - 140°C, degré de chauff age minimal, pour les cheveux très fi ns.

– 140 - 160°C, niveau de chauff age faible, pour les cheveux fi ns.

– 160 - 180°C, niveau de chauff age moyen, pour les cheveux normaux.

– 180°C- MAX, niveau de chauff age supérieur, pour les cheveux épais et diffi ciles à coiff er.

Appuyez sur la touche température 2 au niveau du côté marqué par «+» pour augmenter la température. Appuyez sur la touche température 2 au niveau du côté marqué par «-» pour réduire la température.

4) Dès que l’écran 1 se colore en bleu, la température réglée est atteinte.

5) Rabattez les plaques chauff antes 6 en faisant rentrer en même temps la fermeture 4 sur le côté . Vous pouvez à présent ouvrir le lisseur à cheveux.

REMARQUE

► Cet appareil dispose d'une fonction Memory. Cela signifi e qu'à chaque mise en marche, la température réglée lors de la dernière utilisation est indiquée comme température de départ.

Lissage des cheveux

REMARQUE

► Ce lisseur de cheveux est doté d'une fonction d'ionisation. La fonction

«générateur d'ions» assure la neutralisation et la disparition de ces charges

électrostatiques. La chevelure s'assouplit, devient brillante, disciplinée et plus facile à travailler. La fonction «générateur d'ions» est automatiquement enclenchée dès que vous utilisez le lisseur à cheveux.

1) Préparez la chevelure conformément à la description «Avant le lissage».

2) Commencez par les parties inférieures derrière la tête. Remontez vers l’avant en passant par les côtés : partagez une mèche de cheveux d’une largeur d’env. 2 cm et coincez l’extrémité fermement entre l’index et le majeur de la main avec laquelle vous ne tenez pas le lisseur à cheveux.

AVERTISSEMENT ! RISQUE D'ACCIDENT !

► Veillez à ne pas toucher le cuir chevelu avec les plaques chauff antes 6 .

Risque de brûlure ! En cours d'opération, saisissez l'appareil uniquement à la poignée ! Risque de brûlure !

3) Prenez les mèches qui se trouvent à proximité du cuir chevelu et serrez-les entre les plaques chauff antes 6 .

4) Tirez l’ensemble de la mèche de cheveux à travers les plaques chauff antes 6 , en tirant le lisseur à cheveux rapidement des racines vers les pointes.

5) Procédez ainsi avec chaque mèche de cheveux individuelle.

6) Une fois que vous avez lissé toutes les mèches, appuyez sur la touche

Marche/arrêt 3 jusqu’à ce que l’écran 1 s’éteigne. OFF apparaît sur l’écran 1 et l’indication HOT clignote jusqu’à ce que l’appareil se soit refroidi.

7) Retirez la fi che secteur de la prise. Tous les affi chages s’eff acent.

8) Rabattez les plaques chauff antes 6 en faisant rentrer en même temps la fermeture 4 sur le côté .

Arrêt de sécurité

Cet appareil est doté d’un arrêt de sécurité.

Après env. 30 minutes sans avoir activé de touche, l’appareil s’éteint automatiquement. Après env. 25 minutes, l’écran 1 commence à clignoter en rouge et bleu, pour vous rappeler que l’arrêt automatique a été enclenché. Si l’affi chage s’est éteint après 30 minutes, «Auto-Off » et «hot» s’affi chent sur l’écran.

Si vous souhaitez utiliser l’appareil pendant plus de 30 minutes, appuyez, avant que les 30 minutes ne soient écoulées, sur l’une des touches au choix. Le compte

à rebours de 30 minutes recommence au début.

REMARQUE

► L'arrêt de sécurité ne remplace pas l'arrêt manuel avec la touche Marche/ arrêt 3 ! Elle ne sert qu'à votre sécurité, si vous avez oublié d'éteindre !

Nettoyage

RISQUE DE CHOC ÉLECTRIQUE

► Avant de nettoyer l'appareil, retirez toujours la fi che de la prise secteur.

► Lors d'un nettoyage ne plonger en aucun cas l'appareil dans l'eau ou tout autre liquide !

ATTENTION - RISQUE D'ACCIDENT !

► Laisser l'appareil se refroidir suffi samment avant le nettoyage.

ATTENTION - RISQUE DE DÉGÂTS MATÉRIELS !

► Ne pas utiliser de produits détergents agressifs ou de solvants. Ces derniers peuvent endommager la surface.

1) Essuyer l’appareil avec un chiff on humide.

2) En cas de salissures tenaces, veuillez mettre un produit détergent doux sur le chiff on. Veillez à retirer les résidus de produit nettoyant à l’aide d’un chiff on humidifi é à l’eau.

3) Laissez bien sécher l’appareil, avant de l’utiliser à nouveau.

Rangement

■ Pour le laisser refroidir, posez toujours l’appareil sur une surface insensible

à la chaleur ou suspendez l’appareil au niveau de l’œillet de suspension.

Si vous n’utilisez pas l’appareil pendant une période prolongée :

■ Nettoyez l’appareil comme indiqué au chapitre «Nettoyage».

■ Rabattez les plaques chauff antes 6 en faisant rentrer en même temps la fermeture 4 sur le côté .

■ Conservez l’appareil dans un endroit sec et propre.

Indicazioni di sicurezza

Collegare l'apparecchio a una presa installata a norma con tensione di rete di 220 - 240 V ~ / 50 Hz.

In caso di guasti e prima della pulizia, staccare sempre la spina dalla presa di corrente.

►

Disconnettere la spina dalla presa tirando sempre dalla spina, mai dal cavo.

► Assicurarsi che durante il funzionamento il cavo di rete non sia esposto all'acqua o all'umidità. Collocarlo in modo tale da impedirne il bloccaggio o il danneggiamento.

►

In caso di danni all'apparecchio, al cavo di rete, o alla spina di rete, fare eseguire la sostituzione dal centro di assistenza ai clienti, al fi ne di evitare pericoli.

► Non utilizzare l'apparecchio all'aperto.

► Non utilizzare cavi di prolunga, al fi ne di poter raggiungere rapidamente la spina di rete in caso di emergenza.

► Non aff errare mai l'apparecchio, il cavo di rete e la spina di rete con le mani umide.

►

Non piegare o schiacciare il cavo di alimentazione e posizionarlo in modo che non sia di intralcio o di inciampo.

Non avvolgere il cavo di rete attorno all’apparecchio e proteggerlo da eventuali danneggiamenti. Non immergere mai l’apparecchio in liquidi e impedire la penetrazioni di liquidi nell’alloggiamento dell’apparecchio. Non esporre l’apparecchio all’umidità e non utilizzarlo all’aperto. Non utilizzare mai l'apparecchio in prossimità dell'acqua, soprattutto di lavandini, vasche da bagno o simili. La vicinanza all'acqua rappresenta un pericolo anche ad apparecchio spento. Staccare dunque sempre la spina dopo ogni utilizzo.

Come protezione addizionale si consiglia l'installazione di un dispositivo di protezione per correnti di dispersione con una corrente di apertura di misurazione di non oltre 30 mA nel circuito della stanza da bagno. Consultare il proprio elettricista.

Volume della fornitura

1) Rimuovere tutte le componenti dell’apparecchio e il manuale di istruzioni dalla confezione.

2) Rimuovere completamente il materiale di imballaggio.

3) Pulire tutte le componenti dell’apparecchio, così come descritto al capitolo

“Pulizia“.

Smaltimento della confezione

L’imballaggio protegge l’apparecchio dai danni da trasporto. I materiali di imballaggio sono stati selezionati in relazione alla loro ecocompatibilità e alle caratteristiche di smaltimento, e pertanto sono riciclabili.

Il riciclo dell’imballaggio consente di risparmiare materie prime e riduce la generazione di rifi uti. Smaltire il materiale di imballaggio inutilizzato in conformità alle norme vigenti localmente.

Prima dell’uso

■ I capelli devono essere puliti, asciutti ed esenti da prodotti cosmetici, fatta eccezione per i prodotti speciali indicati per la stiratura dei capelli.

■ Prima di eff ettuare l’acconciatura, pettinare accuratamente i capelli in modo da eliminare eventuali nodi.

Funzionamento

Preparazione

AVVERTENZA

► le piastre riscaldanti 6 devono essere esenti da sporco. Pulirle, se necessario, prima dell'uso (v. capitolo “Pulizia“).

L’apparecchio è interbloccato, il blocco 4 è inserito sul lato.

1) Inserire la spina in una presa di rete.

2) Tenere premuto il tasto on/off 3 fi nché il display 1 non si accende.

Il display 1 mostra la temperatura impostata. Il colore del display 1 mostra se la temperatura è raggiunta:

– rosso: la temperatura non è ancora stata raggiunta.

– blu: la temperatura desiderata è stata raggiunta.

3) Selezionare la temperatura adeguata al tipo di capello:

– 130 - 140°C, livello di calore minimo, per capelli molto fi ni.

– 140 - 160°C, livello di calore basso, per capelli fi ni.

– 160 - 180°C, livello di calore medio, per capelli normali.

– 180°C- MAX, livello di calore elevato, per capelli robusti e diffi cili da mettere in piega.

Per aumentare la temperatura premere il tasto temperatura 2 sul lato con il segno “+“. Per ridurre la temperatura premere il tasto temperatura 2 sul lato con il segno “-“.

4) Quando il display diventa 1 blu, ciò signifi ca che la temperatura impostata

è stata raggiunta.

5) Premere le piastre riscaldanti 6 l’una contro l’altra e introdurre contemporaneamente il blocco 4 sul lato . Ora è possibile aprire la piastra stiracapelli.

AVVERTENZA

► Questo apparecchio ha una funzione di memoria. Ciò signifi ca che quando esso viene acceso, la temperatura di avvio è quella impostata nell'ultimo utilizzo.

Stiratura dei capelli

AVVERTENZA

► Questa piastra stiracapelli è dotata di una funzione di ionizzazione. Tale funzione consente di neutralizzare la carica statica dei capelli. I capelli divengono così morbidi, setosi, luminosi e più facili da acconciare. La funzione di ionizzazione si attiva automaticamente ad ogni utilizzo della piastra stiracapelli.

1) Preparare i capelli come descritto al capitolo “Prima della stiratura“.

2) Cominciare con le ciocche sottostanti a partire dalla nuca. Lavorare dai lati verso il davanti:

Separare una ciocca di capelli larga ca. 2 cm e tenere bene la sua estremità tra il dito indice e il dito medio della mano che non tiene la piastra stiracapelli.

AVVISO! PERICOLO DI LESIONI!

► Fare attenzione a non toccare il cuoio capelluto con le piastre riscaldanti 6 .

Pericolo di ustioni! Durante l'utilizzo prendere l'apparecchio solo dall'impugnatura! Pericolo di ustioni!

3) Stringere l’intera ciocca di capelli vicino al cuoio capelluto tra le piastre riscaldanti 6 .

4) Far passare le piastre riscaldanti lungo l’intera ciocca 6 , tirando con decisione la piastra stiracapelli dall’attaccatura dei capelli alla punta.

5) Procedere analogamente con ogni singola ciocca.

6) Una volta che sono state stirate tutte le ciocche, tenere premuto il tasto on/ off 3 fi nché la luce display 1 non si spegne. Sul display 1 compare la scritta OFF e l’indicazione HOT continua a lampeggiare fi nché l’apparecchio non si è completamente raff reddato.

7) Staccare la spina dalla presa di corrente. Tutti i messaggi del display si spengono.

8) Premere le piastre riscaldanti 6 l’una contro l’altra e introdurre contemporaneamente il blocco 4 sul lato .

Spegnimento di sicurezza

Questo apparecchio è dotato di uno spegnimento di sicurezza.

Se trascorrono più di 30 minuti senza che venga azionato un tasto, l’apparecchio si spegne automaticamente. Dopo ca. 25 minuti il display 1 inizia a lampeggiare alternatamente con colore rosso e blu per ricordare lo spegnimento automatico. Quando il display dopo 30 minuti si è spento, compare la scritta

“Auto-Off “ e “hot“.

Se si desidera utilizzare l’apparecchio per oltre 30 minuti, premere un tasto qualsiasi prima della scadenza di questo tempo. A partire da questo momento i

30 minuti ripartiranno da zero.

► Lo spegnimento di sicurezza non sostituisce lo spegnimento manuale con il tasto on/off 3 ! Esso serve solo per la vostra sicurezza in caso dimentichiate di spegnere l'apparecchio!

Pulizia

► Prima di pulire l'apparecchio, staccare sempre la spina dalla presa di corrente.

Badare a rimuovere resti di detergente con un panno inumidito di acqua.

3) Fare asciugare bene l’apparecchio prima di riutilizzarlo.

Conservazione

■ Per far raff reddare l’apparecchio, poggiarlo sempre su una superfi cie insensibile al calore o appenderlo all’occhiello di sospensione.

Se l’apparecchio non viene utilizzato per un periodo prolungato:

■ Pulire l’apparecchio così come descritto al capitolo “Pulizia“.

■ Premere le piastre riscaldanti 6 l’una contro l’altra e introdurre contemporaneamente il blocco 4 sul lato .

■ Riporre l’apparecchio in un luogo asciutto e pulito.

Connect the appliance only to mains power sockets supplying a mains power voltage of 220 - 240 V ~ / 50 Hz.

In the event of operating malfunctions, and before cleaning the appliance, disconnect the plug from the mains power socket.

To disconnect the power cable, always pull the plug from the socket, do not pull the power cable itself.

Ensure that the power cable does not become wet or moist use.

Route the cable in such a way that it cannot be crushed or damaged.

► Should the appliance, the power cable or the plug become damaged, arrange for them to be repaired by Customer Services to avoid hazardous situations.

Do not use the appliance outdoors.

Do not use extension cables – this will make it easier to disconnect the appliance quickly in an emergency.

Never get hold of the appliance, the power cable or the power plug with wet hands.

► Do not crimp or crush the power cable, and route the cable so that it cannot be stepped on or tripped over.

► Do not wrap the power cable around the appliance, and protect it from being damaged. Under no circumstances must the appliance be submersed in fl uids or fl uids be allowed to permeate the housing. 2) Remove all packing material.

Disposal of the packaging

The packaging protects the appliance against transport damage. The packaging materials are selected from the point of view of their environmental friendliness and disposal technology and are therefore recyclable.

The recirculation of packaging into the material circuit saves raw material and reduces the amount of waste generated. Dispose of packaging material that is no longer needed as per the regionally established regulations.

► If possible preserve the appliance's original packaging during the warranty period so that, in the event of a warranty claim, you can package the appliance ideally for its return.

Before straightening

■ The hair should be clean, dry and free of styling products. Excepted are the special products that support a straightening of the hair.

■ Comb the hair thoroughly before straightening so that there are no knots in it.

► The hotplates 6 must be free from contamination of all kinds. If necessary, clean them before taking them into use (see chapter "Cleaning").

The appliance is locked, the locking device 4 is pressed in on the side .

1) Insert the plug into a mains power socket.

2) Press and hold the On/Off button 3 until the display 1 is illuminated. The display 1 shows the programmed temperature. The colour of the display 1 indicates whether the temperature has already been reached:

– red: the temperature has not yet been reached.

– blue: the programmed temperature has been reached.

3) Select the appropriate temperature for your hair:

– 130 - 140°C, minimum heat level, for very fi ne hair.

– 140 - 160°C, low heat level, for fi ne hair.

– 160 - 180°C, medium heat level, for normal hair.

– 180°C- MAX, highest heat level, for thick or diffi cult to shape hair.

Press the temperature button 2 on the side marked “+” to increase the temperature. Press the temperature button 2 on the side marked “ -” to reduce the temperature.

4) As soon as the display 1 colours itself blue, the programmed temperature has been reached.

5) Press the hotplates 6 together and, at the same time, press the locking device 4 on the side in. The hair straightener can now be opened.

NOTICE

► This appliance has a memory function. This means that, every time the appliance is switched on, the temperature set at the last use is the start temperature.

Straightening hair

NOTICE

► This Hair Straightener is equipped with an ionising function. The ionisation function ensures that a static charging of the hair is neutralised and cancelled. The hair becomes soft, supple, shiny and easier to style. The ionisation function is activated automatically when you use the Hair Straightener.

1) Prepare the hair as described in “Before straightening”.

2) Start with the lower hair segments at the back of the head. Work over the sides to the front:

Separate a 2 cm wide strand of hair and then hold the end fi rmly between the index and middle fi ngers of the hand with which you are not guiding the

Hair Straightener.

► Ensure that the hotplates 6 do not make contact with the skin of the head.

Risk of Burns! During operation, you may only take hold of the appliance by the handle! Risk of Burns!

3) Clamp the hair strand between the hotplates 6 close to the skin and then press them together.

4) Pull the whole strand of hair through the hotplates 6 by pulling the straightener down quickly from the roots to the tips.

5) Repeat the process with each individual strand.

6) When you have smoothed all of the strands, press and hold the On/Off button 3 until the display 1 lighting switches off . OFF appears in the display 1 and the indicator HOT fl ashes until the appliance has cooled down.

7) Remove the plug from the mains power socket. All display indicators are extinguished.

8) Press the hotplates 6 together and then press the locking device 4 on the side in.

Safety switch off

This appliance is equipped with a safety switch off .

After about 30 minutes without activation of a button, the appliance will switch off automatically. After about 25 minutes, the display 1 begins to blink alternatively red and blue, to remind you of the automatic switch off . If the display has switched itself off after 30 minutes, the display indicates “Auto Off ” and “hot”.

If you wish to use the appliance for more than 30 minutes, before the 30 minutes have lapsed press any button. The 30 minute period then starts over again.

NOTICE

► The safety switch-off does not replace manual switching off with the On/

Off button 3 ! It serves only for your safety, if the routine switching off is forgotten!

Cleaning

► Always remove the plug from the mains power socket before you clean the appliance.

► Under no circumstances may you immerse the appliance in water or other liquids when cleaning it!

► Allow the appliance to cool suffi ciently before cleaning it.

Storage

■ When the appliance is cooling down, always place it on a heat-resistant surface or hang the appliance up by the suspension loop.

If you do not intend to use the appliance for some time:

■ Clean the appliance as described in the section “Cleaning”.

■ Press the hotplates 6 together and then press the locking device 4 on the side in.

■ Store the appliance at a clean and dry location.

Troubleshooting

Problem

The appliance does not function.

The hair cannot be straightened.

The hair is singed.

Cause

The plug is not inserted into a mains power socket.

The mains power socket is defective.

The appliance is defective.

Solution

Connect the appliance with a mains power socket.

Try another mains power socket.

In this case, contact

Customer Services.

The appliance is not switched on.

Switch the appliance on.

The temperature level is set too low for your hair.

The appliance is not yet heated up.

The temperature was too high.

The hair has been held for too long between the hotplates 6 .

Select a higher temperature level.

Wait until the appliance has heated up.

Select a lower temperature level.

Always pull the hair straightener through the hair.

Never linger for a prolonged period at a specifi c point on the hair.

Disposal of the appliance

Do not dispose of this appliance in your normal domestic waste.

This product is subject to the provisions of European Directive

2012/19/EU.

Dispose of the appliance through an approved disposal centre or at your community waste facility. Pay heed to the currently applicable regulations.

In case of doubt, please contact your waste disposal centre.

The warranty for this appliance is for 3 years from the date of purchase. This appliance has been manufactured with care and meticulously examined before delivery.

Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In the event of a warranty claim, please make contact by telephone with our Customer Service department. Only in this way can a post-free despatch for your goods be assured.

NOTICE

► The warranty covers only claims for material and manufacturing defects, it is not applicable for transport damages, parts subject to wear and tear or for damage to fragile components, e.g. switches.

This appliance is intended solely for private domestic use, not for commercial applications. If this product has been subjected to improper or inappropriate handling, abuse, or modifi cations not carried out by one of our authorised service centres, the warranty will be considered void.

Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way by this warranty.

The warranty period is not extended by repairs made under the warranty.
