IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using electrical appliance, especially when children are present, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

• Home use only. Do not use for industrial purpose.

• To reduce the risk of death or injury by electric shock unplug this appliance before cleaning.

• Do not place or store appliance where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.

• Do not use while bathing or in a shower.

• Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.

• Do not use an appliance that has fallen into water. Unplug it immediately.

• Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual.

• Do not use attachments not recommended by the manufacturer.

• Before use, make certain of blades are aligned properly.

• Do not place appliance on any surface while it is operating.

• Do not use this appliance neither with a damaged or broken comb nor with teeth missing from the blades as injury may occur.

NOTE: KEEP BLADES OILED.

BLADE ALIGNMENT

• Your clippers were carefully examined to ensure that the blades were oiled and aligned before leaving our factory.

• Blades must be realigned if they have been removed for cleaning or replacement.

• To realign the blades, simply match the upper and bottom blades teeth up, point for point.

• End of top blade teeth should be approximately 1.2 mm back from bottom blade. Compare your clipper blades with the sketch.

• If blade alignment is incorrect, add a few drops of oil to the blades, switch on clipper for a few moments, switch off and unplug. Loosen screws slightly and adjust. Tighten screws after blade is aligned.

OIL

• To maintain your clipper in peak condition, the blades should be oiled every few haircuts.

• Do not use hair oil, grease, oil mixed with kerosene or any solvent. As the solvent will evaporate and leave the thick oil which may slow down the blades motion.

BLADE LEVEL

• The level is conveniently located near your thumb (if you are right-handed) so it can easily be adjusted while the clipper is in your hand.

• The level adds versatility to your clipper by allowing you gradually change the closeness of your cut without an attachment comb.

• When the level is in the uppermost position, the blades will give you the closest cut and leave the hair very short. Pushing the level downward gradually increases the cutting length.

• In its lowest position, the level will leave the hair approximately the same length as a №1 comb.

• The level will also extend the use of your blades since a different cutting edge is used in each setting.

• In addition, if extremely heavy hair cutting has jammed the blades, it will help you remove hair that has become wedged between the two blades without removing the blades.

• While the clipper is running rapidly move the level from “close cut” to “longer cut” a couple of times. Doing this each time after you have finished using your clipper will help to keep the blades clear of cut hair.

• If your clipper stops cutting and this does not help, your cutting blades are dulled. Replace them with new blades.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR HAIR CUTTING

• Before starting the hair cut inspect the clipper, making sure that it is free of oil between the cutting blade teeth and switch the unit on to distribute the oil and to make sure it is running smoothly. Wipe off any excess oil. This should be done after each use. While using the unit, untwist the cord from time to time to avoid tangling.

• Seat the person so their head is approximately at your eye level. This allows ease of visibility while cutting and a relaxed control of the unit.

• Before cutting always first comb the hair so it is tangle free and as it is naturally worn.

• Place a towel around the neck and shoulders of the person having the haircut.

THINNING FUNCTION

• First, slide the Thinning plate up. While applying the blade point at right angles to the hair, run the trimmer slowly across the head as if combing the hair.

• After thinning, slide the thinning plate back. For thinning, confirm that the thinning plate is set to the right position. Incorrect setting may result in excessive cutting. If a difference in level is produced, lightly thin to compensate. If thick and thin portions are produced, or if there are portions with an excessive amount of hair, thin the appropri-ate portions to compensate. Point: Thin the hair gradually while checking the overall balance.

REMINDERS

• Cut the hair in a relaxed and slow manner. Use short strokes only to work gradually over the entire head.

• Always take off a little at a time, you can always trim off additional hair later.

• When cutting with this hair clipper it is better to leave the hair dry, not wet. With the hair dry, it is much easier to control the length of hair being cut.

• Cutting hair requires practice so it is always better to leave the hair longer for the first few haircuts until you become used to the length to which each comb attachment cuts the hair.

ATTACHMENT COMB

• Attachment comb № 1 leaves 3 mm (1/8 inch) hair length.

• Attachment comb № 2 leaves 6 mm (1/4 inch) hair length.

• Attachment comb № 3 leaves 9 mm (3/8 inch) hair length.

• Attachment comb № 4 leaves 12 mm (1/2 inch) hair length.

• Each comb attachment is marked accordingly on its outside middle surface.

• To attach a comb, hold it with its teeth upward and slide it onto and along the clipper blade until the front of the comb firmly seats against the clipper blade.

• When you use the clipper for the first time, cut only small portions of hair until you are accustomed to the cutting length with a certain comb attachment.

• For even cutting, allow the comb attachment/cutter to cut its way through the hair. Do not force it through quickly. Also remember to comb the hair frequently to remove trimmed hair and check for uneven strands.

STEP 1 – NAPE OF THE NECK

• Attach comb attachment 3mm or 6mm.

• Hold the clipper cutting edge pointed up and begin the haircut, starting at the centre of the head at the base of the neck (fig.1).

• Hold the clipper comfortably in your hand and hold lightly against the head with the comb teeth pointing upward.

Gradually and slowly lift the clipper, working upwards and outwards, through the hair, trimming just a little at a time.

• As you cut, gradually lift the hair clipper head towards you. Continue to cut the back area from the bottom of the neck upwards to the top of the ears.

STEP 2 – BACK OF THE HEAD

• Change to the next longest comb attachment 9mm or 12mm and cut the back of the head (fig.2).

STEP 3 – SIDE OF THE HEAD

• Change to one of the shorter combs 3mm or 6mm, trim sideburns, i.e. the hair directly in front of the ears.

• Then change to one of the longer combs, 9mm or 12mm, and continue to cut to the top of the head (fig.3).

STEP 4 – SIDE OF THE HEAD

• Using comb attachment 9mm or 12mm, cut top of head from back to front against the direction in which the hair normally grows

(fig.4). In same cases, this may require the reverse, or cutting from front to back.

• Comb attachment 3mm or 6mm are used to achieve a close crew cut or short cut.

• For longer hair on top, use the comb provided and lift hair on the top of the head. Cut over the comb, with the hair lifted or hold the hair between the fingers to lift it and cut it to desired length (fig.5,6). Always work from the back of the head. You can cut the hair shorter gradually by reducing the space between the comb/fingers, and the head. Comb out trimmed hair and check for uneven strands.

STEP 5 – THE FINISHING TOUCH

• Finally, use the taper level without an attachment comb for close trimming around the base of the neck, the sides of the neck and the ears.

• To produce a clean straight line at the sideburns, reverse the hair clipper by turning the reverse side uppermost (fig.7).

• Press the clipper at right angles to the head, tips of the blades lightly touching the skin and work downwards. This way you obtain, as a clean cut as would be given by a razor.

SHORT TAPERED STYLES – “FLAT TOP” AND SHART CUTS

• Starting with the longest attachment comb (12mm), cut from the back of the neck to the crown. Hold the attachment comb flat against the head and slowly move the clipper through the hair, as shown (fig.8).

• Сut the hair against the direction in which it grows from the front to the crown and then level the cut with the sides.

• To give a “flat top” look, the hair on top of the head must be cut over the top of a flat comb rather than by using the attachment comb.

• Use closer cutting attachment combs to taper the hair down to the neckline as desired. Comb hair and check

for uneven areas and outlining sideboards and neckline as described previously.

CLEANING AND STORAGE

• Remove cut hair from the clipper with the brush enclosed.

• Wipe the cutter with a dry soft cloth.

• Oil the blades as mentioned above.

• Keep the appliance in a dry room.

• You may hang the cutter by provided loop.

• The blades must be oiled for storage period.

МЕРЫ БЕЗОПАСНОСТИ

При обращении с прибором, особенно в присутствии детей, следует соблюдать следующие меры предосторожности:

• Использовать только в бытовых целях. Прибор не предназначен для промышленного использования.

• Во избежание риска поражения током, отключайте прибор от сети питания перед чисткой.

• Не помещайте, а также не храните машинку в местах, где она может попасть в ванну или раковину.

• Не пользуйтесь машинкой при купании или принятии душа.

• Не опускайте прибор в воду или другие жидкости.

• Не беритесь за машинку, если она попала в воду. Немедленно выньте вилку электрошнура из розетки.

• Машинка должна использоваться только для целей, описанных в данной инструкции.

• Не применяйте дополнительных насадок, не предусмотренных изготовителем.

• Не оставляйте включенную в сеть машинку без присмотра.

• Будьте особенно внимательны при стрижке детей или инвалидов, а также во время использования машинки в непосредственной близости от них.

• Не пользуйтесь машинкой при повреждении электрошнура или вилки, а также при возникновении сбоев в ее работе.

• Не допускайте касания электрошнуром горячих поверхностей.

• Не тяните за электрошнур, не перекручивайте его и не наматывайте на машинку.

• Не допускайте попадания в отверстия на корпусе машинки посторонних предметов и капель воды.

• Перед применением машинки проверьте соотнесенность между собой ее лезвий.

• Не кладите включенную машинку на какую-либо поверхность.

• Не пользуйтесь машинкой при повреждении гребня или одного из зубцов. В противном случае это может привести к травмам подстригаемого.

ВНИМАНИЕ: РЕГУЛЯРНО СМАЗЫВАЙТЕ ЛЕЗВИЯ.

ТЕХНИЧЕСКОЕ ОБСЛУЖИВАНИЕ

• Перед продажей прибор был тщательно проверен на предмет смазки и соответствие лезвий.

• Установку лезвий следует проводить после чистки или замены вышедших из строя деталей.

• Зубчики верхнего и нижнего лезвий при установке должны точно совпадать между собой.

• Кончики зубцов верхнего лезвия должны быть выдвинуты приблизительно на 1,2 мм выше кончиков зубцов нижнего лезвия, как это показано на рисунке.

• Если лезвия установлены неправильно, смажьте их несколькими каплями масла, включите на несколько секунд машинку, затем выключите ее и вытащите вилку электрошнура из розетки.

Слегка ослабьте винты и заново установите лезвия относительно друг друга. После установки лезвий снова затяните винты.

СМАЗКА ЛЕЗВИЙ

• Для обеспечения надежной работы машинки ее лезвия должны регулярно смазываться.

• Не рекомендуется применять для смазки масла для волос, жиры и масла, разбавленные керосином или другими растворителями. Испарение растворителя может привести к сгущению масла и затруднению движения лезвий.

РЕГУЛЯТОР ДЛИНЫ СРЕЗАЕМЫХ ВОЛОС

• Регулятор длины срезаемых волос удобно расположен около Вашего большого правого пальца, что позволяет легко регулировать длину срезаемых волос.

• Регулятор длины срезаемых волос позволяет Вам постепенно изменять длину срезаемых волос без использования дополнительных насадок.

• При нахождении регулятора длины срезаемых волос в верхнем положении волосы срезаются очень коротко. При медленном перемещении вниз величина срезаемых волос уменьшается.

• Длина срезаемых волос при самом нижнем положении регулятора соответствует применению дополнительного гребня №1 (3 мм).

• Регулятор длины срезаемых волос также позволяет увеличить срок службы лезвий, так как каждая их перестановка приводит к уменьшению времени их эксплуатации.

• При стрижке волос возможно застревание волос между зубьями лезвий, освободиться от которых также можно с помощью данного регулятора, не снимая при этом самих лезвий.

• Для освобождения застрявших волос быстро переведите регулятор из нижнего положения в верхнее несколько раз. Применение данной операции после каждого использования машинки позволит Вам избавиться от остатка волос.

• Если машинка перестает срезать волосы и затрудняется операция освобождения от волос, следует заменить затупившиеся лезвия.

ПОДГОТОВКА К РАБОТЕ

• Перед началом стрижки проверьте машинку, убедитесь, что между зубьями лезвий нет масла. Включите ма-шинку и посмотрите на ход лезвий, они должны беспрепятственно передвигаться. Применяйте данную опера-цию и после окончания использования машинки. Во время пользования машинкой не позволяйте электрошну-ру запутываться.

• Посадите подстригаемого на стул так, чтобы его голова находилась на уровне Ваших глаз. Это способствует лучшему обзору и позволяет контролировать процесс стрижки.

• Тщательно расчешите волосы, чтобы удалить все волосяные узлы.

• Оберните шею подстригаемого полотенцем, чтобы состриженные волосы не попадали ему за ворот.

СОВЕТЫ ПО СТРИЖКЕ

• Стрижка выполняется в свободной, расслабленной манере. Используйте короткий ход машинки только при вы-полнении стрижки по всей голове.

• Вовремя удаляя короткие выросшие волоски, Вы можете всегда выглядеть аккуратно и красиво.

• Мы рекомендуем Вам выполнять стрижку по сухим волосам, т.к. при этом легче контролировать длину волос и качество прически.

• Стрижка волос с использованием машинки требует определенных навыков, поэтому первые несколько раз ис-пользуйте гребни для стрижки волос, которые позволяют срезать как можно меньше волос.

ФУНКЦИЯ ФИЛИРОВКИ

• Сначала передвиньте филировочный гребень. Расположив лезвие под прямым углом к волосам, медленно пере-двигайте триммер по голове, как будто вы расчесываете волосы. После филировки верните гребень в началь-ное положение.

• Прежде всего необходимо убедиться в том, что филировочный гребень установлен в правильное положение. Неверная установка может привести к излишнему отрезанию волос.

• Если наблюдается разница в уровне подрезки, компенсируйте ее легкой филировкой.

• Если пряди слишком густые или тонкие, или если в прядях слишком много волос, компенсируйте данную раз-ницу дополнительной обработкой. Цель: филируйте волосы постепенно и следите за общей равномерностью.

ИСПОЛЬЗОВАНИЕ ДОПОЛНИТЕЛЬНЫХ ГРЕБНЕЙ

• Дополнительный гребень № 1 – для стрижки волос длиной около 3 мм.

• Дополнительный гребень № 2 – для стрижки волос длиной около 6 мм.

• Дополнительный гребень № 3 – для стрижки волос длиной около 9 мм.

• Дополнительный гребень № 4 – для стрижки волос длиной около 12 мм.

• Расположите гребень зубчиками вверх, насадите его на головку для установки лезвий.

• Обработайте сначала небольшой участок волос, чтобы привыкнуть к длине срезаемых волос конкретным гребнем.

• Для более ровной стрижки, перемещайте машинку против направления роста волос. Не пытайтесь ускорить процесс стрижки перемещая машинку быстрее, чем она успевает состригать волосы. Удаляйте во время стрижки обрезанные волосы.

• Attach comb attachment 3mm or 6mm.

ШАГ 2 — ЗАДНЯЯ ЧАСТЬ ГОЛОВЫ

ШАГ 3 — ОБРАБОТКА ВИСКОВ

• Снова установите один из гребней 3 мм или 6 мм, в зависимости от длины волос, и обработайте височную часть головы.

• Затем, установив гребень 9 мм или 12 мм, Вы можете продвигаться выше (рис. 3).

ШАГ 4 — ОБРАБОТКА ВЕРХНЕЙ ЧАСТИ ГОЛОВЫ

• Установив гребень 9 мм или 12 мм, Вы можете начать стрижку верхней части головы. При этом машинку следует продвигать от макушки по направлению естественного роста волос (рис. 4). В некоторых случаях Вы можете стричь волосы в обратном направлении против естественного роста волос от лба к затылку.

• Если требуется еще укоротить волосы, используйте гребень с меньшим номером (3 мм или 6 мм).

• Для стрижки длинных волос в верхней части головы, используйте гребень в сочетании с поднятием волос. Для этого зажмите подстригаемую прядь между пальцами, оставив только ту длину, которую вы хотели бы состричь, и проведите машинкой. Для этих же целей Вы можете использовать расческу (рис. 5 и 6). Таким образом, изменяя длину пряди, Вы можете смоделировать длину волос прически по своему вкусу. Всегда передвигайте машинку по направлению от задней части головы ко лбу.

ШАГ 5 — ПОДРАВНИВАНИЕ ВОЛОС

• Для подравнивания волос Вам не потребуются насадки. Для подравнивания волос вокруг шеи и около висков установите регулятор длины срезаемых волос в нижнее положение.

• Переверните машинку обратной стороной и подравняйте волосы на висках и шее.

• Для конечной обработки надавите правым углом машинки на голову, кончики лезвий слегка коснуться кожи головы и срежут очень короткие волоски. Вы также можете подравнять длинные волоски с помощью бритвы.

КОРОТКАЯ СТРИЖКА ВОЛОС И «ПЛОЩАДКА»

• Используйте самый длинный гребень и ведите машинку при этом снизу от затылочной части до макушки.

Держите гребень параллельно поверхности головы, медленно ведя машинку через волосы (рис. 8).

• Волосы сверху выстригаются до макушки в направлении, противоположном их росту. Затем переходите к стрижке волос с боков.

• Для стрижки под прическу «площадка» не требуются гребни, а только плоская расческа. Стрижка волос начинается сверху.

• Для стрижки и подравнивания волос на затылочной части головы используйте насадку для короткой стрижки волос. Причешите волосы, обратив внимание на неровные места. Перейдите затем к стрижке висков и затылка, как описано выше.

ОЧИСТКА И ХРАНЕНИЕ

• Очистите лезвия и машинку от обрезков волос прилагаемой щёточкой.

• Протрите корпус сухой мягкой тканью.

• Смажьте лезвия, как это описано выше.

• Хранить машинку следует в сухом месте.

• Допускается подвешивать её за петлю.

• Лезвия обязательно должны быть смазаны.
