CHARGING THE BATTERIES

The 4-in-1 Wine Set includes four Ni-MH batteries . Fully charge the batteries before first use . Charging time is approximately 15 hours .

To charge the batteries:

1 . Plug one end of the AC Adapter cord into the charging base and the other end into an electrical power outlet .

2 . Place the Wine Opener into the charging base . Ensure that the Wine Opener stands firmly in the base and is fully engaged into the charging connector .

When the unit is seated properly and the base is connected to an electrical outlet, the LED Indicator will be red . NOTE: The Wine Opener will only fit into the charging base one way .

3 . It will take approximately 15 hours to fully charge the Wine Opener . When fully charged, the LED Indicator will turn off . The Wine Opener can be used to open or preserve approximately 25 to 30 wine bottles with one full charge .

To maintain a full charge, leave the adapter connected and the Wine Opener on the charging base .

USING THE FOIL CUTTER

Before removing the cork from a wine bottle, you must remove the foil wrapper from the top of the bottle .

To remove the foil wrapper:

1 . Place the Foil Cutter over the top of the wine bottle .

2 . Keeping one hand on the lower part of the bottle, squeeze the Foil Cutter until the blades contact the foil, and turn the Foil Cutter in a twisting motion, cutting the foil .

3 . Remove the foil to expose the cork surface .

USING THE WINE OPENER

1 . Place the Wine Opener (the end with the corkscrew) on top of the wine bottle, making sure that the Wine Opener remains as upright as possible at all times . If you hold the opener at an angle, it will not remove the cork properly .

2 . Hold the Wine Opener firmly and press the Wine Opener button . The corkscrew will turn, enter the cork, and gradually remove the cork from the bottle . When the corkscrew stops, the cork has been fully removed from the bottle .

3 . Lift the Wine Opener up and off the bottle .

4 . To remove the cork from the corkscrew, press the Cork Release button . The corkscrew will lower and release the cork .

5 . Return the Wine Opener to the charging base . This will protect the mechanism while it is not in use .

USING THE AERATOR

To aerate your wine, place the wine aerator into the wine bottle and pour the wine .

You will see bubbles as air is incorporated into the the wine as it is being poured .

Rinse the aerator and return to the charging base .

USING THE WINE PRESERVER

1 . Place the wine bottle on a flat, stable surface .

2 . Insert one of the included Stoppers into the neck of the opened wine bottle .

The stoppers must always be used in conjunction with the wine preserver .

3 . Position the Wine Preserver (the opposite end from the corkscrew) on top of the Stopper, making sure that it remains as upright as possible at all times . If you hold the Wine Preserver at an angle it will not remove the air from the bottle properly .

4 . Hold the Wine Preserver firmly and press it down against the Stopper . When the Pump Activation

Ring is pressed against the Stopper, the pumping action begins pumping air out of the bottle .

5 . The puming action stops automatically after 20 seconds and a tone sounds . Do not release the pressure on the wine stopper until the wine preserver stops .

NOTE : If the bottle is more than half empty, repeat the process a second time .

6 . Lift the Wine Preserver up and off of the bottle . You may feel some resistance and hear a small popping sound . This is normal .

7 . Return the Wine Preserver to the Charging Base .

8 . Twist the silver ring on the Stopper so the white arrow points to the day of the month on which the bottle was sealed . This allows you to keep track of how long it has been since the bottle was opened . To preserve maximum qualities of your wine, it is best to use the remaining wine within 3 to 5 days of opening .

To open a bottle sealed with the Wine Preserver:

1 . Press the pin at the center of the Stopper to the side . If the bottle was properly sealed, you will hear air entering the bottle as the seal is broken .

2 . Firmly hold the wine bottle in one hand and remove the Stopper with the other hand .

3 . Rinse the Stopper and store in a clean, safe place or on the Charging Base .
