å Assemble your unit on a carpeted fl oor or on the empty carton to avoid scratching your unit or the fl oor.

å Push twenty HIDDEN CAMS (1F) into the ENDS (A2 and B2),

UPRIGHT (C2), BRACES (F), and DRAWER BRACES (M67).

Then, insert the metal end of a CAM DOWEL (2F) into each

HIDDEN CAM.

SILVER 1-1/8" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (10S).

å NOTE: Do not overtighten the SCREWS into the TOP.

Open the FURNITURE TIPPING RESTRAINT KIT (97) and fasten the SAFETY STRAP to the TOP (D). Use the provided BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREW.

å Fasten fi ve METAL BRACKETS (4G) to the BASE (G2). Use fi ve BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREWS (1S).

å NOTE: Be sure to use the exact holes shown in the BASE.

Fasten the BASE (G2) to the ENDS (A2 and B2) and

UPRIGHT (C2). Use fi ve BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD

SCREWS (1S) through the BRACKETS on the BASE and into the ENDS and UPRIGHT.

å Carefully turn your unit over onto its front edges. Unfold the

BACK (E) and lay it over your unit.

å A perforation in the BACK (E) has been provided for access to the SAFETY STRAP. Punch out the perforation and push the SAFETY STRAP through the hole.

å Make equal margins along all four edges of the BACK (E).

Push on opposite corners of your unit if needed to make it "square".

å

å Fasten the BACK (E) to your unit using the NAILS (1N).

NOTE: Be sure to tap NAILS into the holes that line up over the UPRIGHT (C2).

These holes must line up over the UPRIGHT (C2).

BACK fastened. The unit may collapse.

å Fasten two METAL BRACKETS (4G) to the BRACES (F) and

BASE (G2). Use four BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREWS (1S).

å Using your hammer, gently tap six TACK GLIDES (13E) into the

ENDS (A2 and B2), UPRIGHT (C2), and BASE (G2).

NOTE: The DRAWER FRONT BRACKETS are marked "RH" and

"LH" for easy identifi cation.

Fasten the LARGE DRAWER FRONT (H) to the DRAWER FRONT

BRACKETS (9G). Use four BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREWS (1S).

Repeat this step for the other drawers. Use the SMALL

DRAWER FRONT (I), SMALL DRAWER SIDES (D42 and D43), SMALL DRAWER BACK (D165), and SMALL

DRAWER FRONT BRACKETS (7G) for the small drawers.

å Carefully stand your unit upright in its fi nal location. We recommend using the SAFETY STRAP for added stability.

å Carefully cut out the perforated hole in the BACK (E). Insert the end of the SAFETY STRAP that is fastened to the TOP through this hole.

å NOTE: Do not turn the SAFETY DRYWALL ANCHOR into a wall stud. If you prefer to fasten the SAFETY STRAP to a wall stud, go to your local hardware store for proper hardware.

å INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Insert the SAFETY DRYWALL ANCHOR through the WASHER and the end of the SAFETY STRAP.

2. Using a Phillips screwdriver or a hand drill, press the screw slightly onto the drywall just below the top surface of your unit so the SAFETY STRAP will not be visible.

3. Apply pressure; turn the screw until a pilot hole is made and the nylon sheath slips through.

4. Turn the screw until it is fl ush against the wall and you feel a fi rm resistance.

5. Continue to turn until the screw starts spinning freely.

å NOTE: Before moving your unit to a diff erent location, unscrew the SAFETY DRYWALL ANCHOR from your wall. The nylon sheath will remain behind your wall.

å To insert the drawers into your unit, tip the front of the drawers down and drop the glides on the drawers behind the glides on the unit. Lift the front of the drawers up and slide them into the unit.

å To make adjustments to the drawers, loosen the SCREWS in the DRAWER FRONT BRACKETS, make needed adjustments, and tighten the SCREWS.

å NOTE: Please read the back pages of the instruction booklet for important safety information.

ÉTAPE 1

Ne pas serrer les EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES dans cette étape.

Assembler l'élément sur un sol à moquette ou sur le carton vide pour éviter d'endommager l'élément ou le sol.

Enfoncer vingt EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES (1F) dans les

EXTRÉMITÉS (A2 et B2), le MONTANT (C2), les ENTRETOISES (F) et les ENTRETOISES DE TIROIR (M67). Ensuite, insérer l'extrémité en métal de la CHEVILLE D'EXCENTRIQUE (2F) dans chaque

EXCENTRIQUE ESCAMOTABLE.

ÉTAPE 5

Attention: Ne pas relever l'élément dans sa position verticale avant d'avoir fi xé l’ARRIÈRE. L'élément risque de s'eff ondrer.

Fixer le MONTANT (C2) sur le DESSUS (D). Serrer deux

EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES.

REMARQUE : S'assurer de déplacer la SANGLE DE SÉCURITÉ du

DESSUS sur un côté.

Attention: Risque des dégâts ou blessures. Les Excentriques

Escamotables doivent être serrés à bloc. Les Excentriques

Escamotables que ne sont pas serrées à bloc peuvent desserrer et les pièces peuvent séparer. Pour serrer à bloc, faire tourner l'excentrique escamotable de 210 degrés.

ÉTAPE 2

Fixer six GLISSIÈRES D'ÉLÉMENT UNIVERSELLES* (35AA) aux

EXTRÉMITÉS (A2 et B2). Utiliser douze VIS TÊTE PLATE 8 mm

DORÉES (3S) à travers les trous nº 1 et nº 3.

ÉTAPE 6

Fixer les ENTRETOISES (F) au MONTANT (C2). Serrer quatre

EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES.

ÉTAPE 3

Fixer six GLISSIÈRES D'ÉLÉMENT UNIVERSELLES * (35AA) aux deux surfaces du MONTANT (C2). Utiliser douze VIS TÊTE

PLATE 8 mm DORÉES (3S) à travers les trous nº 1 et nº 3.

ÉTAPE 7

Fixer les EXTRÉMITÉS (A2 et B2) au DESSUS (D) et aux

ENTRETOISES (F). Serrer huit EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES.

ÉTAPE 4

Fixer la MOULURE DE DESSUS (J) au DESSUS (D). Utiliser quatre

VIS TÊTE PLATE 28 mm ARGENTÉES (10S).

REMARQUE : Ne pas trop serrer les VIS dans le DESSUS.

Ouvrir le KIT DE RETENUE ANTI-BASCULEMENT POUR

MOBILIER (97) et fi xer la SANGLE DE SÉCURITÉ au

DESSUS (D). Utiliser la VIS TÊTE LARGE 14 mm fourni.

REMARQUE : Placer la SANGLE DE SÉCURITÉ exactement comme l'indique le schéma.

ÉTAPE 8

Fixer cinq CONSOLES EN MÉTAL (4G) au BASE (G2). Utiliser cinq

VIS TÊTE LARGE 14 mm NOIRES (1S).

REMARQUE : S’assurer d’utiliser les trous exacts illustrés dans la BASE.

Fixer la BASE (G2) aux EXTRÉMITÉS (A2 et B2) et au

MONTANT (C2). Utiliser cinq VIS TÊTE LARGE 14 mm

NOIRES (1S) à travers les CONSOLES situées sur la BASE, et dans les EXTRÉMITÉS et MONTANT.

ÉTAPE 9

Attention: Ne pas relever l'élément dans sa position verticale avant d'avoir fi xé l’ARRIÈRE. L'élément risque de s'eff ondrer.

Avec précaution, retourner l'élément sur ses chants avant. Déplier l'ARRIÈRE (E) et le placer sur l'élément.

Une perforation ont été prévue pour accès à travers l’ARRIÈRE (F) pour la SANGLE DE SÉCURITÉ. Découper soigneusement la perforation et enfoncer la SANGLE DE SÉCURITÉ à travers le trou.

Veiller à avoir des marges égales le long des quatre chants de l'ARRIÈRE (E). Si besoin est, enfoncer sur les coins opposés de l'élément pour s'assurer d'être « d'équerre ».

Fixer l'ARRIÈRE (E) à l'élément à l'aide des CLOUS (1N).

REMARQUE : S'assurer de bien enfoncer les CLOUS dans les trous qui sont alignés au-dessus le MONTANT (C2).


ÉTAPE 10

Fixer deux CONSOLES EN MÉTAL (4G) aux ENTRETOISES (F) et à la BASE (G2). Utiliser quatre VIS TÊTE LARGE 14 mm NOIRES (1S).

À l'aide d'un marteau, enfoncer légèrement six PATINS (13E) dans les EXTRÉMITÉS (A2 et B2), UPRIGHT (C2) et BASE (G2).

ÉTAPE 11

1 Séparer les CONSOLES DE DEVANT DE TIROIR (9G) et les enfi ler dans les rainures des CÔTÉS DE TIROIR (D36 et D37). Il est peut-

être nécessaire de les enfoncer délicatement à l'aide d'un marteau.

REMARQUE : Les CONSOLES DE DEVANT DE TIROIR ont l'inscription "RH" (Droite) et l'inscription "LH" (Gauche) pour faciliter leur identifi cation.

Fixer un DEVANT DE GRAND TIROIR (H) aux CONSOLES DE

DEVANT DE TIROIR (9G). Utiliser quatre VIS TÊTE

LARGE 14 mm NOIRES (1S).

2 Enfi ler le FOND DE TIROIR (D974) dans les rainures des

CÔTÉS DE TIROIR (D36 et D37) et du DEVANT DE

GRAND TIROIR (H).

3 Fixer l'ENTRETOISE DE TIROIR (M67) au DEVANT DE GRAND

TIROIR (H). Serrer un EXCENTRIQUE ESCAMOTABLE.

4 Fixer l'ARRIÈRE DE TIROIR (D167) aux CÔTÉS DE TIROIR (D36 et D37) et à l’ENTRETOISE DE TIROIR (M67). Utiliser cinq VIS

TÊTE PLATE 40 mm NOIRES (30S).

Répéter cette étape pour les autres tiroirs. Utiliser le DEVANT DE

PETIT TIROIR (I), les CÔTÉS DE PETIT TIROIR (D42 et D43), l’ARRIÈRE DE PETIT TIROIR (D165) et les CONSOLES DE

DEVANT DE PETIT TIROIR (7G) pour les petits tiroirs.

ÉTAPE 12

Fixer un TIROIR DROIT (35AC) sur le CÔTÉ DROIT DE TIROIR (D36) et un TIROIR GAUCHE (35AD) sur le CÔTÉ GAUCHE DE TIROIR (D37).

Utiliser quatre VIS TÊTE PLATE 8 mm DORÉES (3S) à travers les trous nº 1 et nº 2.

REMARQUE : Les coulisses ne sont pas sensées tourner.

Fixer un BOUTON (91K) sur le DEVANT DE GRAND TIROIR (H).

Utiliser une VIS TÊTE GOUTTE DE SUIF 28 mm NOIRE (9S).

Répéter cette étape pour les autres tiroirs.

ÉTAPE 13

Relever, avec précaution, l'élément dans sa position verticale et placer l'élément dans son emplacement fi nal. Il est recommandé d'utiliser la SANGLE DE SÉCURITÉ pour renforcer la stabilité.

Avec précaution, découper le trou pré-percé dans l’ARRIÈRE (E).

Insérer l’extrémité de la SANGLE DE SÉCURITÉ fi xée au DESSUS

à travers ce trou.

REMARQUE : Ne pas tourner le DISPOSITIF DE SÉCURITÉ POUR

PLACOPLÂTRE dans un montant mural. Si on préfère fi xer la

SANGLE DE SÉCURITÉ à un montant mural, obtenir la visserie appropriée auprès d’une quincaillerie locale.

INSTRUCTIONS D’INSTALLATION :

1. Insérer le DISPOSITIF DE SÉCURITÉ POUR PLACOPLÂTRE

à travers la RONDELLE et l'extrémité de la SANGLE DE SÉCURITÉ.

2. À l’aide d’un tournevis cruciforme ou d’une perceuse à main, enfoncer la vis légèrement dans le Placoplatre juste en-dessous de la surface supérieure de l’unité de sorte que la SANGLE DE

SÉCURITÉ ne soit pas visible.

3. Appliquer une certaine pression ; faire tourner la vis jusqu’à la gaine en nylon glisse à travers.

4. Faire tourner la vis jusqu’à ce qu’elle soit à fl eur du mur et qu'une résistance ferme se fasse sentir.

5. Continuer de tourner jusqu’à ce que la vis commence à pivoter librement.

REMARQUE : Avant de déplacer l’unité vers un emplacement diff érent, dévisser le DISPOSITIF DE SÉCURITÉ POUR

PLACOPLÂTRE du mur. La gaine en nylon restera derrière le mur.

ÉTAPE 14

AVERTISSEMENT :

Le renversement de meubles a causé la mort d’enfants. Pour réduire le risque de renversement de meubles :

• TOUJOURS installer le dispositif anti-basculement fourni.

• NE JAMAIS mettre de téléviseur sur ce produit.

• NE JAMAIS laisser les enfants se tenir debout, monter sur les tiroirs, les portes ou les tablettes ni s’y suspendre.

• NE JAMAIS ouvrir plus d’un tiroir à la fois.

• Placer les articles plus lourds dans les tiroirs inférieurs.

Cette étiquette est permanente. Ne pas l’enlever!

Pour insérer les tiroirs dans l’unité, incliner le devant des tiroirs vers le bas et faire tomber les coulisses des tiroirs derrière les coulisses de l’unité. Relever les devants du tiroir et les enfi ler dans l'élément.

Pour ajuster les tiroirs, desserrer les VIS dans les CONSOLES DE

DEVANT DE TIROIR, ajuster et serrer les VIS.

PASO 1

No apriete los EXCÉNTRICOS ESCONDIDOS en este paso.

Ensamble la unidad sobre un piso alfombrado o sobre el cartón vacío para evitar rayar la unidad o el piso.

Empuje veinte EXCÉNTRICOS ESCONDIDOS (1F) dentro de los

EXTREMOS (A2 y B2), del PARAL (C2), de las RIOSTRAS (F) y de las RIOSTRAS DE CAJÓN (M67). A continuación, inserte el extremo de metal de un PASADOR DE EXCÉNTRICO (2F) dentro de cada EXCÉNTRICO ESCONDIDO.

PASO 5

Precaución: No coloque la unidad en posición vertical hasta que se fi je el DORSO. La unidad podría caerse.

Fije el PARAL (C2) al PANEL SUPERIOR (D). Apriete dos

EXCÉNTRICOS ESCONDIDOS.

NOTA: Asegúrese de mueva la CORREA DE SEGURIDAD del

PANEL SUPERIOR a un lado.

Precaución: Riesgo de daños o heridas. Los Excéntricos Escondidos deben apretarse completamente. Los Excéntricos Escondidos que no se aprieten completamente se afl ojarán y las partes pueden separarse. Para apretar completamente, atornille el excéntrico escondido 210 grados.

PASO 2

Fije seis RIELES UNIVERSALES DE GABINETE* (35AA) a los

EXTREMOS (A2 y B2). Utilice doce TORNILLOS DORADOS DE

CABEZA PERDIDA de 8 mm (3S) a través de los agujeros No. 1 y No. 3.

*La patente del sistema de deslizamiento se encuentra en trámite.

PASO 6

Fije las RIOSTRAS (F) al PARAL (C2). Apriete cuatro

EXCÉNTRICOS ESCONDIDOS.

PASO 3

Fije seis RIELES UNIVERSALES DE GABINETE * (35AA) a ambas superfi cies del PARAL (C2). Utilice doce TORNILLOS DORADOS

DE CABEZA PERDIDA de 8 mm (3S) a través de los agujeros No. 1 y No. 3.

*La patente del sistema de deslizamiento se encuentra en trámite.

PASO 7

Fije los EXTREMOS (A2 y B2) al PANEL SUPERIOR (D) y a las

RIOSTRAS (F). Apriete ocho EXCÉNTRICOS ESCONDIDOS.

PASO 4

Fije la MOLDURA DE PANEL SUPERIOR (J) al PANEL

SUPERIOR (D). Utilice cuatro TORNILLOS PLATEADOS DE

CABEZA PERDIDA de 28 mm (10S).

NOTA: No apriete en exceso los TORNILLOS en el

PANEL SUPERIOR.

Abrir el KIT DE CONTROL ANTI-INCLINACIÓN PARA

MOBILIARIO (97) y fi jar la CORREA DE SEGURIDAD al

PANEL SUPERIOR (C2). Utilice el TORNILLO DE CABEZA

GRANDE de 14 mm provisto.

NOTA: Coloque la CORREA DE SEGURIDAD exactamente como se muestra.

PASO 8

Fije cinco SOPORTES DE METAL (4G) a la BASE (G2). Utilice cinco TORNILLOS NEGROS DE CABEZA GRANDE de 14 mm (1S).

NOTA: Asegúrese de utilizar los agujeros correspondientes indicados en la BASE.

Fije la BASE (G2) a los EXTREMOS (A2 y B2) y al PARAL (C2).

Utilice cinco TORNILLOS NEGROS DE CABEZA GRANDE de 14 mm (1S) a través de los SOPORTES sujetados a la BASE y dentro de los EXTREMOS y del PARAL.

PASO 9

Precaución: No coloque la unidad en posición vertical hasta que se fi je el DORSO. La unidad podría caerse.

Cuidadosamente voltee la unidad para que repose sobre los bordes delanteros. Desdoble el DORSO (E) y colóquelo sobre la unidad.

Se ha provisto una perforación para acceso a través del DORSO (F) para la CORREA DE SEGURIDAD. Perforar la perforación y empuje a través de la CORREA DE SEGURIDAD a través el agujero.

Los márgenes a lo largo de todos los bordes del DORSO (E) deben estar uniformes. Empuje sobre las esquinas opuestas de la unidad si es requerido para hacerla "cuadrada."

DESLIZANTES (13E) en los ENDS (A2 y B2),

UPRIGHT (C2) y BASE (G2).

PASO 11

1 Separe las MÉNSULAS DE CARA DE CAJÓN (9G) y deslícelas en las ranuras de los LADOS DE CAJÓN (D36 y D37). Puede ser necesario que las clave ligeramente adentro con un martillo.

NOTA: Las MÉNSULAS DE CARA DE CAJÓN tienen una inscripción "RH" (derecha) y una inscripción "LH" (izquierda) para identifi carlas fácilmente.

Fije la CARA DE CAJÓN GRANDE (H) a las MÉNSULAS DE CARA

DE CAJÓN (9G). Utilice cuatro TORNILLOS NEGROS DE CABEZA

GRANDE de 14 mm (1S).

2 Deslice el FONDO DE CAJÓN (D974) en las ranuras de los

LADOS DE CAJÓN (D36 y D37) y de la CARA DE

CAJÓN GRANDE (H).

3 Fije la RIOSTRA DE CAJÓN (M67) a la CARA DE CAJÓN

GRANDE (H). Apriete un EXCÉNTRICO ESCONDIDO.

4 Fije el DORSO DE CAJÓN (D167) a los LADOS DE CAJÓN (D36 y D37) y a la RIOSTRA DE CAJÓN (M67). Utilice cinco TORNILLOS

NEGROS DE CABEZA PERDIDA de 40 mm (30S).

Repita este paso para los otros cajones. Utilice la CARA DE CAJÓN

PEQUEÑO (I), los LADOS DE CAJÓN PEQUEÑO (D42 y D43), el

DORSO DE CAJÓN PEQUEÑO (D165) y las MÉNSULAS DE CARA

DE CAJÓN PEQUEÑO (7G) para los cajones pequeños.

PASO 12

Fije un CAJÓN DERECHO (35AC) al LADO DERECHO DE

CAJÓN (D36) y un CAJÓN IZQUIERDO (35AD) al LADO

IZQUIERDO DE CAJÓN (D37). Utilice cuatro TORNILLOS

DORADOS DE CABEZA PERDIDA de 8 mm (3S) a través de los agujeros No. 1 y No. 2.

NOTA: Los corrimientos no están concebidos para rotar.

Fije un POMO (91K) a la CARA DE CAJÓN GRANDE (H). Utilice un TORNILLO NEGRO DE CABEZA REDONDA de 28 mm (9S).

Repita este paso para los otros cajones.

PASO 13

Cuidadosamente ponga la unidad en posición vertical y coloque su unidad en su posición fi nal. Se recomienda que utilice la

CORREA DE SEGURIDAD para aumentar la estabilidad.

Cuidadosamente corte el agujero perforado del DORSO (E).

Inserte el extremo de la CORREA DE SEGURIDAD, ya fi jada al

PANEL SUPERIOR, a través de este agujero.

NOTA: No gire el ANCLAJE DE SEGURIDAD PARA EL DRYWALL en un montante de la pared. Si prefi ere ajustar la CORREA DE

SEGURIDAD a un montante de la pared, vaya a su ferretería local para obtener las herramientas adecuadas.

INSTRUCCIONES DE INSTALACIÓN:

1. Inserte el ANCLAJE DE SEGURIDAD PARA EL DRYWALL a través la ARANDELA y el extremo de la CORREA DE SEGURIDAD.

PASO 14

ADVERTENCIA:

3. As the exclusive remedy under this Warranty, Sauder will (at its sole option) repair, replace or refund the value of any defective furniture component.
