BATTERY SAFETY

• CAUTION: Danger of explosion if the battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type. Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbonzinc), or rechargeable (Ni-Cad, NiMh, etc) batteries.

Only use rechargeable NiMH batteries.

• WARNING: The remote control’s button cell battery contains mercury. Do not dispose of it with normal household waste, instead recycle as hazardous waste.

• WARNING: Lithium batteries, like all rechargeable batteries, are recyclable and should be recycled and not disposed of in normal household waste. Contact your local government for disposal or recycling practices in your area. They should never be incinerated as they might explode.

USING THE REMOTE CONTROL

THE BATTERY

To get your remote control working intially, pull the clear tab from the battery compartment located at the bottom of the remote.

If your remote becomes intermittent or you find you have to move closer the unit to operate, then probably batteries need to be replaced.

To replace batteries, slide the holder out from the base of the remote. Remove the battery and replace with a 3 volt Lithium

CR2025.

USING YOUR APPLIANCE

SETUP

• Take out the tower body and tower base carefully from the box.

• Take out the accessories of 7pcs screws.

• Fit the base with the body with the

4 holes.

• Screw the base into the body by screw driver with the 7pcs screws.

• Put the tower standing on the floor. It is now redy to use.

• If the iPad is docked, please insert the detachable holder to hold the iPad.

USING YOUR APPLIANCE

AUX-IN 1 (LINE IN TYPE)

Requires an 3.5mm cable (cable included )

1. Connect an 3.5mm cable to Aux-in 1 Jack .Connect the other end of 3.5mm cable to an MP3 player or other audio source.

2. Press the power button to turn the unit on.

3. Press the function button to switch to Aux-in 1 mode .(Aux button on the remote by pressing one time )

4. Use the native controls on the connected device to begin playing audio routed through the unit .

POWER

Plug the attached AC cord into a standard AC power outlet to the power of

VIDEO OUTPUT FROM AN IPHONE/IPOD /IPAD

1. Connect the unit to a television using the Composite video output .

2. On your iPod/iPhone/ iPad ,navigate to VIDEOS >VIDEO SETTINGS or by pressing MENU on Remote and turn TV OUT to “On” .

3. Follow the instruction for Docking an iPhone / iPod / iPad on this page .

4. Dock the iPod/iPhone/iPad onto this unit and begin playing a video from the docked iPhone/iPod/iPad .

DOCKING AN IPHONE /IPOD /IPAD

1. Press the Power to turn the unit on.

2. Press the function to switch to iPhone /iPod / iPad mode (iPod button on the remote )

3. Connect the iPhone iPod / iPad to the connector inside the dock for iPhone / iPod /iPad .When the unit is plugged in ,using AC power ,the docked iPhone/iPod/iPad will charge .

4. Note:If the iPad is docked ,please insert the detachable holder to hold the iPad .

PLAYING AN IPHONE/ IPOD /IPAD

1. Follow the instruction for docking an iPhone/ iPod /iPad .

2. Press the PLAY /PAUSE button to begin playing music from the docked device

3. Press the PLAY /PAUSE button to begin playing the docked device

AUX-IN 2 (AUXILIARY INPUT RCA TYPE)

Requires an RCA cable (not included)

1. Connect an RCA cable to AUXILIARY INPUT .Connect the other end of the RCA cable to the audio output on a DVD player ,stereo system ,gaming system

,television ect .

2. Press the POWER button to the unit on.

3. Press the FUNCTION button switch to Aux-in button on remote by pressing twice .

4. Use the native controls on the connected device to begin playing audio routed through the unit .

USING BLUETOOTH

1. Press the “Function” key and set to “AUX1” to activate the Bluetooth.

2. The Bluetooth/AUX1 LED will flash green & red, which indicates “Searching” status. If the

Bluetooth of the previously paired device is On, it will connect automatically with iTower.

3. If not, the LED will turn to red, which indicates that iTower has detected a device and then the device can be paired with iTower.

4. The name and password is “‘AKAI A58002” and “0000” respectively. Input password if necessary during pairing.

5. Once, the device is paired iTower, desired music can be played using the external (paired) device via Bluetooth through iTower.

6. If it still doesn’t work, please re-start the unit or turn off the Bluetooth of paired cellphone, and follow above steps again.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

1. ALWAYS DISCONNECT THE EQUIPMENT FROM THE POWER SUPPLY BEFORE CLEANING.

2. CLEAN THE EQUIPMENT WITH A SOFT, DAMP, LINT FREE CLOTH.

3. DO NOT USE ABRASIVES OR HARSH CLEANERS.
