About AppRadio
AppRadio is an innovative car audio system with a 6.1 capacitive touch panel screen display that when used along with Advanced App Mode, facilitates the use of iPhone applications from Pioneer and other providers in the vehicle.
In addition to the basic functions such as radio and Bluetooth hands-free phoning, when an iPhone is connected you’ll have full access to your photos, calendar, music, and more.

1. Install AppRadio app on the iPhone.
2. Launch AppRadio app without connecting the iPhone to this product.
3. Tap [ Settings ] l [ Manual ].
Advanced App Mode
With Advanced App Mode, you can display the iPhone application screen on the display of AppRadio. And you can operate
AppRadio compatible iPhone applications via the display.
Using Advanced App Mode
With your iPhone connected to the AppRadio, launch the
AppRadio app or other compatible iPhone applications from the iPhone. You can now tap the App icon on the AppRadio display to access Advanced App Mode.

Only iPhone applications compatible with Advanced App Mode can be displayed on the screen of this product.

AppRadio app
AppRadio app is an iPhone application to switch this product to Advanced App Mode.
In addition to allowing access to basic iPhone functions, the
AppRadio app also enables Advanced App Mode on the
AppRadio.

Map: Scroll, search, and view the displayed map data or set a route to a destination via Google Maps™.

Calendar: View your scheduled events that you’ve saved to your iPhone calendar.
!
Photos: Access and view all of your photos within your iPhone’s camera roll and photo library as a slideshow.
!
Contacts: Make Bluetooth handsfree phone calls and even route to contacts stored within your iPhone’s contact list.

Recommended Apps: Discover the latest available
Advanced App Mode compatible iPhone applications and even download them to your iPhone directly from the
AppRadio display.
A launcher function to launch an iPhone application from this product is usable.
The AppRadio app is available as a download from the iTunes App Store.

Quick Start Mode
Your AppRadio features a Quick Start Mode that puts the
AppRadio into a reduced power mode for five minutes when the vehicle ignition is switched to off (ACC OFF). While in Quick start mode, if you turn the ignition switch on (ACC ON), AppRadio will immediately start up.
If the unit is in Quick start mode and the ignition is not switched on
(ACC ON) within five minutes, AppRadio automatically turns off.
Home button
When you press the AppRadio Home button, the Home screen is displayed on-screen. The AppRadio Home screen is the main screen that allows access to your entertainment sources, Apps, settings and more.
Audio source control
When you press the Home button twice, the audio source control keys will be displayed on-screen. Using these keys, you can operate the audio source currently playing in the background without leaving the screen currently displayed.

Inputting text
When you tap a text input area of an AppRadio-compatible iPhone application, a keyboard will be displayed on-screen.
You can input the desired text directly from the AppRadio.
When is tapped, the AppRadio keyboard is hidden and text can now be entered using the iPhone’s keyboard.
The AppRadio keyboard layout can be changed within the
Language Settings screen on the AppRadio.

Playing iPhone music
When you tap [ iPod ] on the Home screen, the iPhone audio source screen appears. You can play and operate the audio source with the iPhone connected.
You can control playback by tapping the audio source control keys. When a list screen is displayed, scroll the list by tapping or , and select the item by tapping [ OK ].
Listening to the radio
When you tap [ Radio ] on the Home screen, the radio source screen appears and is audible.
When you tap a preset channel key, you can select a preset channel.
To manually adjust the frequency, tap or . To automatically search for receivable frequencies, touch and hold or until search starts.
To switch bands, tap .
If you use other optional functions, tap and open each menu.

Hands-free phoning
Tap [ Phone ] to display the Phone menu screen.
You can control Bluetooth connection of the iPhone, and make a call with incoming/outgoing call histories, transferred contacts, or dials.
Registering an iPhone
Search “App Radio”, the device name of this product, and pair the iPhone and this product. (The default PIN code used for registering the device is 0000). When registration is successful, Bluetooth connection starts.
Disconnecting and re-connecting the iPhone
Tap on the Phone menu screen to open the optional menu. And then, tap [ Bluetooth ] to set the value to Off.
If you connect the iPhone and this product again, display the
Phone menu screen. And then, select the iPhone to connect via Bluetooth, and tap .
Transferring the phone book to this product
While the iPhone and this product is connected via Bluetooth, tap to open the optional menu.
And then, tap [ Phone Book Sync ]. The contact information of the iPhone will be transferred to this product.
General settings
From the General settings screen the following settings can be accessed: language display, keyboard layout, date-time, subwoofer output.
If you tap on the Home screen and tap [ General ], the
General settings screen is displayed.
Audio settings
From the Audio settings screen, audio settings including sound quality adjustment and in-car sound field (fader/ balance) can be accessed.
If you tap on the Home screen and tap [ Audio Settings ], the Audio settings screen is displayed.

Avec votre iPhone connecté à AppRadio, lancez l’application
AppRadio app ou d’autres applications compatibles iPhone à partir de l’iPhone. Vous pouvez maintenant tapoter l’icône App sur l’affichage d’AppRadio pour accéder à Advanced App Mode.

Mode de démarrage rapide
AppRadio possède un mode de démarrage rapide qui met
AppRadio dans un mode d’alimentation réduite pendant cinq minutes quand le contact du véhicule est coupé (ACC OFF).
Pendant le mode de démarrage rapide, si vous mettez le contact du véhicule (ACC ON), AppRadio démarre automatiquement.
Si l’appareil est en mode de démarrage rapide que le contact n’est pas mis (ACC ON) avant cinq minutes, AppRadio se met automatiquement hors service.

Quand vous appuyez sur le bouton Home d’AppRadio, l’écran
Home apparaît sur l’écran.
L’écran Home d’AppRadio est l’écran principale qui permet d’accéder à vos sources de divertissement, vous applications, vos réglages et bien plus encore.
Commande d’une source audio
Quand vous appuyez deux fois sur le bouton Home, les touches de commande de la source audio sont affichés sur l’écran. En utilisant ces touches, vous pouvez commander la source audio en cours de lecture en fond sans quitter l’écran actuellement affiché.

Entrée de texte
Quand vous tapoter une zone d’entrée de texte d’une application iPhone compatible avec AppRadio, un clavier est affiché sur l’écran. Vous pouvez entrer le texte souhaité directement à partir d’AppRadio.
Quand vous touchez , le clavier AppRadio est caché et le texte peut être entré en utilisant le clavier de l’iPhone.
La disposition du clavier AppRadio peut être changée à partir de l’écran de réglage de la langue d’AppRadio.

Lecture de musique de l’iPhone
Quand vous tapotez [ iPod ] sur l’écran Home, l’écran de source audio iPhone apparaît. Vous pouvez lire et commander la source audio avec l’iPhone connecté. Vous pouvez basculer entre la lecture et la pause en tapotant l’écran.
Vous pouvez commander la lecture en tapotant les touches de commande de la source audio. Quand un écran de liste est affiché, faites défiler la liste en tapotant ou , et sélectionnez un élément en tapotant [ OK ].
Écoute de la radio
Quand vous tapotez sur [ Radio ] sur l’écran Home, l’écran de source radio apparaît et la source peut être entendue. Quand vous touchez une touche de canal préréglé, vous pouvez sélectionner un canal préréglé.
Pour ajuster manuellement la fréquence, touchez ou .
Pour rechercher automatiquement toutes les fréquences recevable, touchez et maintenez le contact sur ou jusqu’à ce que la recherche commence.
Pour commuter les bandes, touchez .
Si vous utilisez d’autres fonctions optionnelles, touchez et ouvrez chaque menu.

Touchez [ Téléphone ] pour afficher l’écran de menu du téléphone.
Vous pouvez commander la connexion Bluetooth de l’iPhone et passer un appel avec l’historique des appels entrant/ sortant, des contacts transférés, ou composés.
Enregistrement d’un iPhone
Recherchez “App Radio”, le nom de périphérique de ce produit et appariez l’iPhone et ce produit. (Le code PIN par défaut utilisé pour enregistrer le périphérique est 0000).
Quand l’enregistrement est réussi, la connexion Bluetooh démarre.
Déconnexion et reconnexion d’un iPhone
Touchez sur l’écran du menu téléphone pour ouvrir le menu optionnel. Puis touchez [ Bluetooth ] pour régler la valeur sur Off.
Si vous connectez l’iPhone et ce produit de nouveau, affichez l’écran de menu téléphone. Puis sélectionnez l’iPhone pour faire une connexion via Bluetooth, et touchez .
Transfert de l’annuaire sur ce produit
Pendant que l’iPhone et ce produit sont connectés via
Bluetooth, touchez pour ouvrir le menu optionnel. Puis touchez [ Synchro répertoire ]. Les informations des contacts seront transférées sur ce produit.
Réglages généraux
À partir de l’écran des réglages généraux, vous pouvez accéder aux réglages suivants: langue d’affichage, disposition du clavier, date-heure, sortie du haut-parleur d’extrêmes graves.
Si vous touchez sur l’écran Home et touchez [ Général ], l’écran des réglages généraux est affiché.
Réglages audio
À partir de l’écran des réglages audio, vous pouvez ajuster les réglages audio, y compris la qualité du son et le champs sonore en voiture (équilibre avant-arrière/droite-gauche).
Si vous touchez sur l’écran Home et touchez [ Paramètres audio ], l’écran des réglages audio est affiché.
