PUMP HEAD w/ BYPASS RETROFIT KIT
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
(Installation Time: 30 min.)
TOOLS REQUIRED: Side Cutters, 3/16” Allen Wrench, 7/16”
Wrench, Philips & Standard Screwdriver.
1. Open machine to access pump as described below: a. Remove brush height adjustment bracket from brush base, 3/16” Allen wrench required (Fig. 1).
b. Remove two hex head screws located at front underside of chassis, 7/16” wrench required (Fig. 1).
c. Carefully hinge tank away from chassis.
2. For easy pump head replacement, cut both elbow fittings from old pump using side cutters (Fig. 2).
Remove elbow piece from hose, do not cut hose.
Note: Pump motor removal is not necessary for pump head replacement.
3. Disconnect black wires and remove old pump head
(3 screws), Philips screwdriver is required (Fig. 2).
4. Attach new elbow fittings on new pump head, position fittings pointing upward (Fig. 3).
Note: Use pipe tape with fittings.
5. Install pump head (Fig. 3).
6. Reconnect hoses and wires. Be certain to use hose clamps.
7. Close machine and replace hardware.
