Press the DOWN button on the hand control to unwind the strap, keep tension on the strap with the other hand.

Loop sling
Place the sling around the patient. For sling with head support make sure it extends to top of patient’s head.

To attach the sling, insert the strap loop onto the support and pull gently on the strap.
Attach the carabiner to the trolley and then move the lift over the patient.

Lower the lift below the chin and unfold supports.
For a patient in a supine position, lower the lift near the chest, unfold supports, then install the straps.

To lift the patient, press the UP button on the hand control.
Lift until the patient's buttocks clear the arm supports of the wheelchair, the top of the bath or the bed before moving the patient.
Guide the patient’s legs past any obstacles.
Move the patient.
Place attachment loop on the hook.
Make sure that the safety latch is closed.

Once the patient is properly seated, detach loops and disengage the sling from the lift.
Unhook the lift from the trolley.
