IMPORTANT: BATTERY INFORMATION

CAUTION:

1. TO AVOID BATTERY LEAKAGE a. Always follow the instructions carefully. Use only batteries specified and be sure to insert them correctly by matching the + and – polarity markings.

b. Do not mix old batteries and new batteries or standard (carbonzinc) with alkaline batteries.

c. Remove exhausted or dead batteries from the product.

d. Remove batteries if product is not to be played with for a long time.

e. Do not short-circuit the supply terminals.

f. RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES: Do not mix these with any other types of batteries. Always remove from the product before recharging.

Recharge batteries under adult supervision. DO NOT RECHARGE

OTHER TYPES OF BATTERIES.

2. Should this product cause, or be affected by, local electrical interference, move it away from other electrical equipment. Reset

(switching off and back on again or removing and re-inserting batteries) if necessary.

To install car batteries

Use a Phillips/cross head screwdriver (not included) to loosen screw in battery compartment cover

(screw remains attached to cover). Remove cover.

Insert 3 x 1.5V AA alkaline batteries (not included). Replace cover and tighten screw.

Playing with the toy

To replace remote control batteries

Replace demo batteries with alkaline batteries. Use a Phillips/ cross head screwdriver (not included) to loosen screw in battery compartment cover

(screw remains attached to cover). Remove cover. Remove and discard demo batteries.

Replace with 2 x 1.5V AA alkaline batteries. Replace cover and tighten screw.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If your remote control car does not respond, try switching the car OFF and back ON again, or replace the batteries in the car and remote control.

NOTE:

The LED light indicates that the car is on. The car uses battery power whenever the switch is in the ON position.

To help conserve battery life, move the switch to OFF when you are not playing with the toy.

Press this button to turn car.

The car’s ON/OFF switch is located on the bottom of the car. Turn on the car by moving the switch to the

ON position.

TIP:

To turn off sound effects, press and hold both buttons for 10 seconds or until you hear a beep. Repeat to turn the sound on again.

Press this button to move car forward.
