To turn on the G90, press the power button. To turn it off, hold the power button for 1 second in the power-on state. A short press of the power button in the on state will turn off the screen display while other units continue working; pressing any button or turning the knob will wake the screen.

To activate the built-in automatic antenna tuner, first short press the [TUNE] button to connect the tuner (the 'TUNE' logo will appear). Then, hold the [TUNE] button for 1 second to start the auto-tuning function. The transceiver will automatically return to receive status once tuning is complete.

You can set the operating frequency using the main knob by short-pressing it to select 100Hz, 1kHz, or 10kHz steps, then rotating it to adjust the frequency. Alternatively, press the [F-INP ENT] button on the hand microphone, enter the desired frequency values using the numeric keypad, and press [F-INP ENT] again to confirm.

Short press the [Po] button to enter the power setting state. The power setting number will be displayed in the screen's function display area. Rotate the multifunction adjustment knob to set the power, with adjustments in 1W steps.

By default, rotating the multifunction knob adjusts the frequency in 100 kHz steps. A short press enters the SQL item for squelch adjustment. Holding the knob down allows you to customize its function by selecting from options like SQL Level, Po Level, Key Speed, or FFT Scale from a user custom feature menu.
