The MSM1 MIDI SWITCHING MODULE converts your ATTAX to a MIDI-capable
guitar preamp, enabling you to access memory locations via MIDI in studio and live
applications.
Once the MSM1 has been installed, you have 128 presets available. You can assign
channel and effects combinations to each of these presets and then activate a given
combination via a MIDI PROGRAM CHANGE command.

The ATTAX and the MSM1 MIDI SWITCHING MODULE are electronic devices that
operate on AC power. If you are not qualified to install the MSM1, you are risking a
potentially life-threatening electric shock. Do yourself a favor and ensure you leave the
installation to an authorized dealer only, both a safety and a warranty requirement. It
takes just a few minutes, and it is well worth waiting for.
roceed as follows:
e Switch the ATTAX off.
e Pull the AC mains plug.
e Remove the four screws from rear panel cover plate and then remove the cover plate.
® Remove the screws from the top of the chassis.
® Lift the chassis cover off.
® Insert the MSM1 in the module chamber and fasten it to the chassis using the four __
screws. Ensure the electronic components and the module inscriptions are facing up.
e Connect the MSM1 to the ATTAX by carefully plugging the included flat cable’s
connectors to the appropriate socket. Note the markings on the connectors and ensure
they face the grooved portion of the socket when you plug the connectors in.

Ensure the connector fits snugly and the connector markings match the socket's
grooved portion.
e Replace and fasten the chassis cover.
e Plug in the AC mains cable. Switch on the power.
e Press all front panel buttons, one after the other, to make sure the ATTAX functions
properly.
e The ATTAX should respond to each button as it did
(refer to the ATTAX manual).
e Follow the steps described in Section 1.4 to ensure the MSM1 functions properly.
before you installed the module
The MIDI IN jack is designed to receive MIDI data. Any device capable of gener-
ating MIDI data can be connected here via its MIDI OUT jack. In most cases, a
MIDI FOOT CONTROLLER is the device you will use.
The MIDI THRU jack is used if you want to relay incoming MIDI messages
additional MIDI device, e.g. an effects processor. Simply connect the device’ $ MIDI
IN to the MSM1’s MIDI THRU. This enables you to address the ATTAX and one or
more additional devices via a single MIDI command.

This five-way DIP switch determines on which MIDI channels the MSM1 receives
MIDI messages. You can select a single CHANNEL (1 through 16), or all MIDI
CHANNELS at once.
The MIDI LEARN BUTTON on | the A ATTAX’ $ front st panel i is operable after the MSM1
is installed, and is used to assign ATTAX channel /effects combinations to diverse
memory locations.
MIDI is the abbreviation for Musical Instrument Digitas Interface. MIDI is an
international standard in which musical information, to include sound parameter
changes, is translated to digital data and sent to various instruments, e.g. amps,
effects devices, keyboards, etc.
The MSM1 can process MIDI commands containing sound changes, i. e. message
that change the ATTAX’s channel/effects loop settings.
These commands are referred to as MIDI PROGRAM CHANGE MESSAGES. They
consist of a MIDI CHANNEL NUMBER and a MIDI PROGRAM number, which we
will take a closer look at on the next page.
A typical guitar rack can contain several MIDI capable devices. You must assign
each device a specific MIDI CHANNEL NUMBER to ensure the message is
addressed to the right device. 16 MIDI CHANNELS (1 through 16) are available. For
instance, if you assign MIDI CHANNEL NUMBER 7 to the MSM1 (refer to Section
2.1), then the module reacts exclusively to commands addressed to MIDI
CHANNEL 7.
if you want to address several devices in your rack simultaneously, switch on the
OMNI MODE for each device. All devices will then ignore the MIDI CHANNEL
NUMBERS and respond to MIDI commands on all CHANNELS. Refer to Section 2.1
for information on how to select the MSM1 OMNI MODE.
The MSM1 is set to MIDI CHANNEL 3. A MIDI command containing a “MIDI
CHANNEL 3/PROGRAM NUMBER 17” message is sent. The MSM1 responds by
activating the channel and effects loop combination saved on preset 17.
Connect your equipment according to diagram 1.3.
Activate OMNI ON at the ATTAX and EFFECTS PROCESSOR.
Briefly press the MIDI LEARN BUTTON .
Activate the effects loop on the ATTAX STAGEBOARD.
Select an effects program at your effects processor.
Select the ATTAX channel.
Press and hold the MIDI LEARN BUTTON at the ATTAX and
simultaneously activate the effects program via MIDI.
The preset is stored. Store additional
presets as required,

OPERATING THE ATTAX VIA MIDI
SELECTING MIDI CHANNELS AND THE OMNI MODE
Use the five-way DIP switch to select the MIDI CHANNEL and the OMNI MODE.
Switch settings 1-4 determine the MIDI CHANNEL; the fifth switch is the OMNI
OFF/ON switch. The OMNI ON setting ensures the ATTAX receives MIDI data on all
MIDI CHANNELS, regardless of how switches 1-4 are set.

STORING PRESETS
Once you have selected the desired MIDI CHANNEL or OMNI settings, you can
start storing presets (channel/effects loop combinations).
Store presets by activating the desired channel/effects loop combinations manually
or via the STAGEBOARD while simultaneously pressing the MIDI LEARN BUTTON.
The ATTAX responds to PROGRAM CHANGE MESSAGES it receives.
We recommend you use the MIDI LEARN MODE when you want to assign
numerous effects programs as ATTAX presets. This mode enables you to quickly
store presets without having to repeatedly press the MIDI LEARN BUTTON (refer to
the next page under the “Storing Several Presets” heading).
STORING A PRESET
Briefly press the MIDI LEARN BUTTON.
Activate the parallel effects loop via the ATTAX STAGEBOARD.
Select the desired effects program and dial in the desired FX-MIX setting.
Determine the desired preamp sound via the front panel control features or the
STAGEBOARD.
Press the MIDI LEARN BUTTON again, but this time hold it down.
Send the PROGRAM CHANGE MESSAGE via the MIDI FOOT CONTROLLER. In
other words, select the active effects program again via MIDI.
The preset is now stored. You can call it at any time via MIDI the ATTAX’s settings
are modified to correspond to the preset data you just entered. Press the MIDI
LEARN BUTTON again and repeat the above procedure to store additional presets.

STORING SEVERAL PRESETS - THE MIDI LEARN MODE
This operating mode enables you to successively store a number of presets without
requiring you to press the MIDI LEARN BUTTON every time. Every PROGRAM
CHANGE MESSAGE the ATTAX receives ensures the current channel/effects loop
combination is automatically stored as a preset.
Switch the ATTAX off, press and hold the MIDI LEARN BUTTON.
Switch the ATTAX on while continuing to hold the MIDI LEARN BUTTON.
Release the MIDI LEARN BUTTON. The ATTAX is now in the MIDI LEARN MODE.
Select the desired effects program, ATTAX preamp sound and parallel effects loop.
Send the PROGRAM CHANGE MESSAGE via the MIDI FOOT CONTROLLER. In
other words, select the active effects program again via MIDI.
The sound you select manually or via the STAGEBOARD is stored as a preset and
assigned to the selected effects program. if you want to change the preset, use the
ATTAX front panel control features or the STAGEBOARD to modify the preset and
again activate the effects program via MIDI FOOT CONTROLLER.
You can immediately select another effects program and thus store other switching
combinations as presets,
End the programming operation by briefly pressing the MIDI LEARN BUTTON.
ACTIVATING STORED PRESETS VIA MIDI
Switch the ATTAX on.
Ensure the MIDI CHANNEL setting is identical for the ATTAX, the effects processor,
and the MIDI FOOT CONTROLLER
Ensure the channel selector switches on the ATTAX’s front panel and on the
STAGEBOARD are set to OFF (not depressed).
Ensure the STAGEBOARD LEDs are not illuminated and the effects loop is inactive.
Now the ATTAX control features are switched according to the data i in the stored
presets.
Briefly press the MIDI LEARN BUTTON if you want to return to the front
panel/STAGEBOARD switching mode once the ATTAX was switched via MIDI.
An additional effects processor
(mono), e.g. compressor, reverb,
etc. is added to the serial loop.

1, GENERAL INFORMATION
The MSM 1 MIDI Module is designed for installation in Hughes & Kettner products.
These devices each feature a port located on its rear panel. A plate bearing the
inscription “TO INSTALL MIDI MODULE:...” covers the port. In order to install the
MSM 1, this cover plate must be removed so that the device’s circuit board
becomes accessible (refer to Sections Il. and Ill.).
The MSM 1 is connected to your device via the included cable. This cable is the
MSM 1’s power conduit. It is also the communications medium for the two devices:
it relays your amp’s operating status to the MSM 1 and sends switching information.
Ensure only authorized service personnel install the MSM 1.
Always ensure the AC mains plug is removed from the wall socket before opening
the main device’s chassis.

il. INSTALLATION IN 19” DEVICES (e.g. ATTAX Preamp or TUBEMAN PLUS)
1. Unplug the AC mains lead.
2. Remove the cover plate by loosening the four retainer screws.
3. Remove the 19” device’s chassis cover by loosening its retainer screws.
4. Insert the MSM 1 MIDI Module in the open port. Ensure the inscription on the
module matches the rear panel inscriptions, i.e. the module is right side up. Insert
and fasten the four cover plate screws to secure the module.
5. Insert the included flat cable connector plug in the MSM 1’s socket so that the
colour-coded wire faces the notch on the socket.
6. The device’s circuit board features an identical socket. Insert the other flat cable
IC-socket with marker notch
connector in this socket in the same manner, i.e. so that the color-coded wire faces
the notch on the socket.
7. Ensure both connectors are seated properly. Replace the chassis cover and fasten
the retainer screws.

8. All MIDI functions are accessible once the device is powered up. Run through all
switching operations to ensure the device is functioning properly.
111. INSTALLATION IN AMPS/COMBOS (e.g. АТТАХ 100, ATTAX 200)
1. Unplug the amp’s AC mains lead.
2. Remove all connectors (e.g. spring reverb or speakers).
3. Remove the amp's chassis by loosening the retainer screws at the top of the amp.
Do not allow the chassis to drop.
4. Remove the port’s cover plate on the chassis’ rear panel.
5. Insert the MSM 1 MIDI Module in the open port. Fasten the four cover plate

Das MSM-1 MIDI Modul ist fur den Einbau in verschiedene Hughes & Kettner
Geräte geeignet. Diese Geräte verfügen auf der Rückseite über eine Einbauöffnung
für das MSM 1, die durch eine Abdeckplatte mit der Aufschrift “TO INSTALL MIDI
MODULE: ......” geschlossen ist. Für die Installation des MSM-1 muß diese
Abdeckplatte entfernt und die Platine des umzurtistenden Geráts zugánglich
gemacht werden (siehe dazu Kapitel Il. und 11.).
Die Verbindung zwischen MSM 1 und dem Hauptgerát wird durch einfaches
Einstecken des mitgelieferten Kabelsteckers hergestellt. Uber dieses Kabel erhalt das
MSM-1 seine Versorgungsspannung, empfangt Betriebszustánde und sendet
Schaltimpulse.
Lassen Sie das MSM-1 von einem autorisierten Servicetechniker
(Fachkraft nach VBG 4) einbauen.
Vor Öffnen des Hauptgeräts unbedingt dessen Netzstecker ziehen!
Die Bedienung des MSM-1 entnehmen Sie der beigefügten Bedienungsanleitung.

|. INSTALLATION IN 19” GERÄTEN
(z. B. ATTAX Preamp oder TUBEMAN PLUS)
1. Netzstecker des 19” Gerátes ziehen.
2. Entfernen Sie die Abdeckplatte (“TO INSTALL MIDI MODULE: .....”) auf der
Rückseite des Geräts durch das Lösen aller vier Schrauben.
3. Entfernen Sie den Deckel des 19” Geräts durch das Lösen der entsprechenden
Schrauben.
4. Stecken Sie das MSM-1 MIDI Modul in den freigelegten Schacht. Die Schrift auf dem
MSM-1 muß entsprechend der Beschriftung der Geräterückseite ausgerichtet sein.
Benutzen Sie die vier Schrauben der Abdeckplatte, um das MSM-1 festzuschrauben.
5. Stecken Sie einen Multistecker des beigepackten Flachbandkabels so in den
freien Stecksockel des MSM-1, daß die farbig gekennzeichnete Ader des Kabels zur
Markierungskerbe des Stecksockels zeigt.

6. Auf der Platine des Hauptgerats befindet sich ein identischer Stecksockel, der
ebenfalls frei ist. Stecken Sie den zweiten Multistecker des Flachbandkabels auch
hier so ein, daß die farbig gekennzeichnete Ader des Kabels zur Markierungskerbe
des Stecksockels zeigt.
7. Prüfen Sie den korrekten Sitz beider Steckverbindungen und schrauben Sie den
Deckel wieder auf dem 19” Gerát fest.
8. Nach Einschalten der Stromversorgung sind die MIDI Funktionen sofort
verfügbar. Bitte überprüfen Sie alle Schalt- und Tastfunktionen des Geräts.

Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker des Verstarkers.
2. Ziehen Sie evtl. vorhandene weitere Anschlußstecker (z.B. Hallspiralen- oder

3. Bauen Sie das Verstärkerchassis aus, indem Sie die Befestigungsschrauben auf der
Oberseite des Verstärkers lösen. Beachten Sie dabei, daß das Chassis nicht nach
unten fällt.
4. Entfernen Sie die Abdeckplatte des MIDI-Moduischachts auf der Rückseite des
Chassis.

5. Befestigen Sie das MSM-1 im Modulschacht. Benutzen Sie dazu die vier
Schrauben der vorher entfernten Abdeckplate. Beachten Sie, daß die Beschriftung
des MSM-1 entsprechend der Beschriftung auf der Geräterückseite ausgerichtet ist.
6. Stecken Sie einen Multistecker des beigepackten Flachbandkabels so in den
freien Stecksockel des MSM-1, daß die farbig gekennzeichnete Ader des Kabels zur

7. Auf der Platine des Verstárkers befindet sich ein identischer Stecksockel, der
ebenfalls frei ist. Stecken Sie den zweiten Multistecker des Flachbandkabels auch
hier so ein, daß die farbig gekennzeichnete Ader des Kabels zur Markierungskerbe
‚ des Stecksockels zeigt.
8. Priifen Sie den korrekten Sitz beider Steckverbindungen.
9. Montieren Sie das Verstárkerchassis wieder im Geháuse und stellen Sie alle
Kabelverbindungen wieder her (z.B. Hallspirale, Lautsprecher, Stromnetz)
10. Nach Einschalten der Stromversorgung sind die MIDI Funktionen sofort
verfügbar. Bitte überprüfen Sie alle Schalt- und Tastfunktionen des Geräts.

Der ATTAX und das MIDI SWITCHING MODULE MSM1 sind elektrostatisch
empfindliche Geräte. Beim Einbau des MSM1 besteht für den Nichtfachmann die
Gefahr eines lebengefáhrlichen elektrischen Schlages. Aus Sicherhe
Garantiegründen solite der Einbau des Moduls deshalb unbedingt von einem
authorisierten Servicetechniker vorgenommen werden. Das Einsetzen des MSM1
Moduls wird nur wenige Minuten in Anspruch nehmen.

e Die vier Befestigungsschrauben der rückseitigen Blindplatte lösen und diese entfernen.
e Alle Befestigungsschrauben des Gehäusedeckels lösen.
e Gehäusedeckel abnehmen.
e Das Modul mittels der vier Schrauben im Modulschacht des ATTAX montieren, so daß
sich die Bauteile auf der Oberseite befinden und die Beschriftung des Mod
“aufrecht” steht.
e Verbinden Sie jetzt das MSM1 mit dem ATTAX, indem Sie die Stecker des mitge-
lieferten Flachbandkabels vorsichtig in die dafür vorgesehenen Sockel einsetzen.
Beachten Sie dabei die Markierungen auf den Flachbandkabelsteckern! Diese müssen
sich beim Einstecken auf der gekerbten Sockelseite befinden.

Die MIDI IN Buchse steht fiir den Empfang von MIDI Daten zur Verfiigung .
Grundsätzlich kann hier jedes Gerät, daß MID! Daten generieren kann und über eine
MIDI OUT Buchse verfügt, angeschlossen werden; in der Regel wird hier ein MIDI
FOOTCONTROLLER angeschlossen.

Sollen die an der MIDI IN Buchse ankommenden Daten gleichzeitig an ein weiteres
MIDI-fáhiges Gerät ( z.B. Effektgerät ) geschickt werden, wird dessen MIDI IN Buchse
mit der MIDI THRU Buchse des MSM1: verkabelt. So können durch nur einen MIDI-
Befehl sowohl der ATTAX als auch ein bzw. mehrere angeschlossene Effektgeräte
umgeschaltet werden.

Mit diesem 5fach Dip-Schalter kann ein
das MSM1 MIDI Daten empfangen soil. Es können entweder nur ein einzeiner
CHANNEL ( No. 1 - 16 ) oder gleichzeitig alle CHANNELS aktiviert werden.
Die MIDI LEARN TASTE auf der Е Frontseite des ATTAX tritt erst nach dem Einbau des
MSM1 in Funktion und dient zum Abspeichern von Kanal / Effektwegkombinationen
des ATTAX .
MIDI i ist st die Abkürzung für Musical Instrument Digital Interface, w was übersetzt "Digitale -
Schnittstelle für Musikinstrumente" bedeutet. MIDI ist ein internationaler Standard, mit
dem gespielte Musik, wie auch Soundänderungen, als digitaler Datenstrom einer
Vielzahl unterschiedlicher Musikinstumente ( Verstärkern, Effektgeräten, Keyboards etc. )
übermittelt werden kann.
Das MSM1 "versteht" die MIDI-Befehle, die eine Soundänderung , d.h. beim ATTAX
eine Kanal / Effektweg pins bewirken.
Diese Befehle heißen MIDI PROGRAM CHANGE MESSSAGES. Ein solcher Befehl
besteht aus einer MIDI CHANNEL NUMBER ( MIDI KANAL NUMMER ) und einer
MIDI PROGRAM NUMBER ( MIDI PROGRAMM NUMMER ) , die auf der nächsten
Seite erläutert werden.

Ine einem 1 Gitarrenrack werden oft mehrere MIDI-fáhige Geráte gleichzeitig eingesetzt.
Um jedes einzelne Gerát gezielt en zu können, kann man jedem Gerät eine
eigene "Adresse", nämlich die MIDI CHANNEL NUMBER zuordnen: Insgeamt gibt es 16
MIDI CHANNEL NUMBERS ( CHANNELS 1 - 16 ). Ist das MSM1 z.B. auf MIDI
CHANNEL NUMBER 7 eingestelit ( siehe 2.1 ), reagiert es ausschlieBlich auf MIDI-
Befehle, die an "MIDI CHANNEL 7" adressiert sind.
Sollen ir in einem n Gitarrenrack mehrere Geráte gleichzeitig angesprochen werden, kann
man dies durch Einstellen des OMNI "ON" MODE an jedem Gerät erreichen. Die MIDI
CHANNEL NUMBERS werden dann ignoriert und jedes Gerát reagiert auf die MIDI-
Befehle aller CHANNELS.
Zur ur Einstellung des OMNI MODE am М$М1 siehe 2.1.
Das MSMI 1 verfügt über 128 Speicherrplätze, | in denen Kanal- und
Effektwegkombinationen abgespeichert werden können. Jeder Speicherplatz des MSM1
kann durch eine entsprechende MIDI PROGRAM NUMBER ( 1 bis 128 ) angesprochen
und aktiviert werden.
BEISPIEL
Das MSM1 ist auf MIDI-Kanal 3 eingestellt. Die MID! Daten "MIDI KANAL 3 / PRO-
GRAMMNUMMER 17" werden zum MSM1 geschickt. Das MSM1 "versteht", daß es
angesprochen ist und aktiviert die auf Speicherplatz 17 gespeicherte Kanal- und
Effektwegkombination.
Verkabeln Sie Ihr Equipment wie in 1.3 abgebildet.
Wahlen Sie am ATTAX und EFFEKTPROZESSOR: OMNI ON
Driicken Sie 1 x kurz die MIDI LEARN TASTE DES ATTTAX.
Schalten Sie den Effektweg am ATTAX STAGEBOARD ein.
Wahlen Sie ein Effektprogramm an Ihrem
Effektprozessor aus.
Wahlen Sie den ATTAX Kanal aus.
Halten Sie die MIDI LEARN Taste am ATTAX gedriickt und
wählen Sie gleichzeitig das Effektprogramm über MIDI an.
Die Presets sind gespeichert.
Priifen Sie die Sounds wie folgt.
Schalten Sie die Kanalwahlschalter an der ATTAX Frontplatte,
dem Stageboard sowie den Effektweg aus
Wählen Sie Ihre Sounds mit dem MIDIFOOTCONTROLLER an.

EINSTELLEN DES MIDI KANALS UND DES OMNI MODUS
Der MIDIKANAL und der OMNI MODUS werden úber den 5fach DIP-Schalter auf
dem MSM1 angewahlt. Dabei bestimmen die Schalter 1 - 4 den MIDIKANAL, wahrend
der 5. Schalter OMNI ON/OFF festlegt. Bei Schalterstellung OMNI ON empfängt der
ATTAX auf allen MIDIKANALEN, egal auf welchen Positionen sich die Schalter 1 - 4
befinden.

SPEICHERN VON PRESETS
ist die Einstellung des gewünschten MIDIKANALS bzw. OMNI vorgenommen, so
kónnen Presets (Kanal-/Effektwegkombinationen) des ATTAX gespeichert werden.
Das Speichern der manuell bzw. per Stageboard aktivierten Kanal-/Effektweg-
kombination wird dabei durch gleichzeitiges Driicken der MIDI LEARN TASTE
und dem Anwáhlen der gewünschten Effektprogrammnummer via MIDI FOOT
CONTROLLER ausgelóst.
Der ATTAX reagiert auf die dabei empfangene PROGRAM CHANGE MESSAGE.
Sollen einer größeren Anzahl von Effektprogrammen entsprechende ATTAX-Presets
zugeordnet werden, so empfiehlt sich der Betrieb des ATTAX im MIDI LEARN MODE
(schneller Speicherbetrieb ohne Drücken von MIDI LEARN, siehe nächste Seite

SPEICHERN EINES PRESETS
1 x kurz die MIDI LEARN TASTE drücken.
Den parallelen Effektweg mittels ATTAX STAGEBOARD aktivieren.
Das gewünschte Effektprogramm anwählen, FX-MIX einregeln.
Mit den Frontplattenschaltern des ATTAX bzw. dem ATTAX STAGEBOARD den
passenden Preampsound aktivieren.
Die MIDI LEARN TASTE nochmals drücken und gedrückt halten.
Mit dem MIDIFOOTCONTROLLER den entsprechenden PROGRAM CHANGE Befehl
senden, d. h. das aktive Effektprogramm nochmals über MIDI anwählen.
Die MIDI LEARN TASTE wieder loslassen.
Das Preset ist jetzt gespeichert, d. h. beim Umschalten auf dieses Effektprogramm
wird auch der ATTAX entsprechend geschaltet. Durch erneutes Drücken der MID!
LEARN TASTE können weitere Presets erstellt werden.

SPEICHERN MEHRERER PRESETS - MIDI LEARN MODE
Diese Betriebsart erlaubt ein schnelles Speichern mehrerer Presets in Folge, ohne
erneutes Driicken der MIDI LEARN TASTE. Jede vom ATTAX empfangene PROGRAM
CHANGE MESSAGE führt jetzt zum Speichern der aktuellen Kanal-/Effektweg-
kombination als Preset.
Bei ausgeschaltetem ATTAX die MIDI LEARN TASTE drücken.
ATTAX bei gedrückter MIDI LEARN TASTE einschalten.
Die MIDI LEARN TASTE wieder loslassen. Der ATTAX befindet sich jetzt im
MIDI LEARN MODE.
Das gewünschte Effektprogramm, ATTAX Kanal und den parallelen Effektweg wählen.
Mit dem MIDIFOOTCONTROLLER den entsprechenden PROGRAM CHANGE Befehl
senden, d. h. das aktive Effektprogramm nochmals über MIDI anwählen.
Der manuell oder per ATTAX STAGEBOARD aktivierte Sound ist jetzt als Preset
gespeichert und dem Effektprogramm zugeordnet. Sollen Änderungen am Preset
vorgenommen werden, so wird einfach an der ATTAX Frontplatte bzw. am ATTAX
STAGEBOARD der neue Sound eingestellt und das Effektprogramm nochmals via
MIDIFOOTCONTROLLER angewählt.
Es können sofort neue Effektprogramme angewählt, und damit entsprechende
Schalterkombinationen als Preset gespeichert werden.
Beenden Sie den Programmiervorgang durch kurzes Drücken der
MIDI LEARN TASTE.
2.3 ABRUFEN VON GESPEICHERTEN PRESETS ÜBER MIDI
ATTAX einschalten
Übereinstimmung der MIDIKANÄLE für ATTAX, Effektprozessor und
MIDIFOOTCONTROLLER prüfen.
Die Kanalwahlschalter des ATTAX, sowie die Stageboardschalter in Stellung "AUS"
(nicht gedrückt) bringen.
Die LED’s am Stageboard leuchten nicht auf, der Effektweg ist nicht aktiviert.
Jetzt wird beim Anwählen der Effektprogramme via MIDIFOOTCONTROLLER der
ATTAX entsprechend der gespeicherten Presets mit umgeschaltet.
Soll nach dem Umschalten des ATTAX über MIDI wie gewohnt mit den Frontplatten-
schaltern oder dem Stageboard umgeschaltet werden, so ist kurzzeitig die MIDI
LEARN TASTE zu drücken.
