This button displays various functions of the pager, stores, and deletes messages.

Read / Select button

This button is used to display the messages that are received and to select a function.

Changing the Battery

This device uses one "AAA" battery.

1) Slide the battery cover out following the arrow direction.(<=)

2) Replace the battery

Caution:

1) Messages are saved for about one minute while the battery is being changed.

2) Pay attention to the polarity of the battery.

Turning on/off the pager

Turning the pager off

OFF " . Press to turn off the pager.

The pager will stop operating, but will still display the current time.

Turn the pager on

2) Press and hold for about three seconds. It will make a beep sound with vibration, all icons and letters will be displayed on the screen, then will show "READY " before going into standby mode.

Both date and time are displayed on the screen. The pager is now ready to receive messages.

Receiving and reading messages

When a message is received, the message number and icon are displayed on the screen with either alarm sound or vibration icon.

Checking a message:

Press at standby screen. This will display the messages from the newest to the oldest.

If there are no messages received, the display will show "NO INFO".

Remark:

A) If a message is longer than 12 characters icon is displayed.

B) Press to check the rest of the message.

C) Time, function code, and ID number are stored with each message.

If the pager memory is full, icon will be displayed at the left upper screen. If additional messages are received, oldest message is automatically deleted to make room for the newest message.

Remark:

If there are two or more identical messages, icon is displayed. This indicates that the messages have been received multiple times. The time that the newest duplicate message is received will be indicated on the display.

Locking and unlocking messages

To avoid messages getting deleted unintentionally, maximum of 10 messages can be protected (locked).

1) While a message is displayed, press to display "LOC-UNLOC". Press to lock the message. This will display icon to indicate that this message has been locked.

2) To release the locked message, press to display "LOC-UNLOC". Press . The icon will disappear, and the message is released (unlocked).

Remark:

If all 10 locked spaces are filled, "LOC-FULL" will be displayed. If you need to lock a new message, at least one locked message must be unlocked first.

Setting Vibration/alert/silent mode

Selecting vibration alert

1) Press once. "ALERT SET" is displayed. Press .

2) Press again. "MOTOR" is displayed with flickering icon. Press and the pager will return to standby screen with flickering icon .

3) The pager is now set to vibrate when a new message is received.

Selecting melody alert

1) Press once. “ALERT SET” is displayed. Press .

2) Press to display "MELODY" then press .

3) By pressing , you may change the corresponding melody sound. Each melody makes a different sound for 15 seconds and melody number is also displayed. Select the melody by pressing to store your selection.

4) The pager is now set to play a melody when a new message is received.

Selecting silent alert

1) Press once. "ALERT SET" is displayed. Press .

2) Press until "SILENT" is displayed. Press to select silent mode.

3) The pager is now set to receive messages silently.

Alarm clock setting

This mode is used to set the alarm to go off daily.

1) Press two times. This will display "ALARM SET". Press .

2) Press to select from OFF, TONE, or MOTO and set by pressing .

3) You can select and set AM/PM, hour and minute by pressing and .

4) Press to return to standby screen. The display will show icon.

1) Press three times. "SET TIME" is displayed. Press .

2) Select "AM" or "PM" by pressing .

3) Press and to set the minute and the hour.

Time Setting

Date Setting

1) Press four times. "SET DATE" is displayed. Press .

2) Press and select and change the month and date. Press to confirm.

Automatic power ON/OFF

You can set automatic power ON/OFF when you are not using the pager. Messages are still saved.

1) Press five times to display "SET AUTO".

2) Press to display the "SET OFF" mode.

3) Press to select either ON or OFF, then press to select turn on time (If DISABLE is selected, the mode returns to the standby screen).

4) Select AM or PM by pressing , and set by pressing .

5) Select hour by pressing and set by pressing .

6) Press to select off time. By using the same method as above, you may set the turn on time of the pager.

7) After finishing the time setting, press and the mode returns to the standby screen. At this time, the icon will be displayed at the standby screen.

Deleting Messages

Messages may be deleted using one of two following methods.

Delete all messages:

1) Press six times until "DELETE ALL" mode is displayed.

2) Press . All unlocked messages are deleted.

Deleting each message separately:

1) While a message that you want to delete is displayed, press two times. " DELETE

ONE " is displayed. Press to delete the message.

Other Functions

Low battery indicator:

When the battery life has almost expired, the icon will begin to flicker on the screen along with the alarm. Change the battery immediately.

Backlight:

Press either or for approximately two seconds.

Limited Pager Warranty

A. Limited Warranty

Cybertree Technologies Inc. ("Cybertree") warrants the CTF-155 / CTP-155 pager ("Pager") you have purchased to be free from defects in materials or workmanship under normal use during the warranty period from the date of purchase. Your original invoice (sales receipt), showing the date of purchase, is your proof of the date of purchase. If you cannot provide the original purchase invoice

(sales receipt), the warranty period will be based on the manufacture date-code shown on the pager. The warranty period applicable to the pager is defined as 1 year over-the-counter replacement of the warranty unit.

This warranty extends only to you, the original Purchaser. It is not transferable to anyone who subsequently purchases, leases or otherwise obtains the pager from you. During the warranty period, Cybertree will replace defective hardware with a new hardware. All defective hardware will become the property of Cybertree.

To ensure timely response to a service request, please complete and return the bottom portion with a copy of your sales receipt to Cybertree within ten (10) calendar days after the date you purchased the pager.

In the event the pager exhibits a defect in material or workmanship within the warranty period,

Cybertree will provide the warranty applicable to the pager as defined below.

B. Warranty Limitation; Exclusions; Exclusive Remedies

This Limited Warranty does not extend to any pager that has been damaged or rendered defective

(a) as a result of use of the pager other than for its normal intended use, failure to use the pager in accordance with the User's Manual which accompanies the pager or other misuse, abuse or negligence to the pager; (b) by the use of parts not manufactured or sold by Cybertree; (c) by modification of the pager; (d) as a result of service by anyone other than Cybertree; (e) improper transportation or packing when returning the pager to Cybertree or its reseller; (f) unusual physical or electrical stress or interference, lightening, static electricity, fire or acts of God.

EXCEPT FOR THE WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS SET FORTH HEREIN, CYBERTREE DISCLAIMS

ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO

THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. ANY

IMPLIED WARRANTIES THAT MAY BE IMPOSED BY APPLICABLE LAW ARE LIMITED TO THE TERMS

FO THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. IN NO EVENT SHALL CYBERTREE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL,

SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF BUSINESS,

PROFITS, DATA OR USE, WHETHER IN AN ACTION IN CONTRACT OR TORT OR BASED ON A

WARRANTY, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE, PERFORMANCE OR

MAINTENANCE OF THE PAGER, EVEN IF CYBERTREE HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF

SUCH DAMAGES. YOU AGREE THAT REPLACEMENT, AS APPLICABLE, UNDER THE WARRANTY

SERVICES DESCRIBED HEREIN ARE YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES WITH RESPECT TO

ANY BREACH OF THE CYBERTREE LIMITED WARRANTY SET FORTH HEREIN.
