Teak Trellis is designed to be leaned up against a wall or other supporting structure. If you would like to make it free-standing, you would need to dig a 12 ” x 12 ” hole, place the trellis in the ground and fill with concrete. If you would like to have the trellis be slightly off the ground, you would need to attach the trellis to posts that have been concreted into the ground.
