Il est important pour la sécurité des personnes de suivre toutes les instructions car une installation incorrecte peut
entraîner des blessures graves. Conserver ces instructions.
La motorisation doit être installée et réglée par un installateur, professionnel de la motorisation et de l’automatisation de
l’habitat, conformément à la réglementation du pays dans lequel elle est mise en service.
Le manuel d’utilisation et le manuel d’installation doivent être remis à l’utilisateur final en précisant que l’installation,
le réglage et la maintenance de la motorisation doivent être réalisés par un professionnel de la motorisation et de
l’automatisation de l’habitat.

Ce produit est une motorisation pour des portails coulissants, en usage résidentiel tel que défini dans la norme EN 603352-103, à laquelle il est conforme. Ces instructions ont notamment pour objectif de satisfaire les exigences de la dite norme
et ainsi d’assurer la sécurité des biens et des personnes.
AVERTISSEMENT
Toute utilisation de ce produit hors du domaine d’application décrit dans cette notice est interdite (voir paragraphe
«Domaine d’application» du manuel d’installation). Elle exclurait, comme tout irrespect des instructions figurant dans cette
notice, toute responsabilité et garantie de Somfy.
L’utilisation de tout accessoire de sécurité non validé par Somfy est interdit.
Si un doute apparaît lors de l’installation de la motorisation ou pour obtenir des informations complémentaires, consulter
le site internet www.somfy.com.
Ces instructions sont susceptibles d’être modifiées en cas d’évolution des normes ou de la motorisation.
Vérifications préliminaires
●● Environnement d’installation
ATTENTION
Ne pas projeter d’eau sur la motorisation.
Ne pas installer la motorisation dans un milieu explosif.
●● État du portail à motoriser
Ne pas motoriser un portail en mauvais état ou mal installé.
Avant d’installer la motorisation, vérifier que :
• le portail est en bonne condition mécanique
• il est manoeuvrable facilement, sans point dur
• les fixations du portail sont en bon état
• le portail n’est équipé d’aucun système de verrouillage manuel ou électrique (sauf si compatible avec la motorisation
Somfy)
• les points où sera fixée la motorisation sont en parfait état et solides.

Pré-équipement électrique

DANGER
L’installation de l’alimentation électrique doit être conforme aux normes en vigueur dans le pays où est installée la
motorisation et doit être faite par un personnel qualifié.
La ligne électrique doit être exclusivement réservée à la motorisation et dotée d’une protection constituée :
• d’un fusible ou disjoncteur calibre 10 A,
• et d’un dispositif de type différentiel (30 mA).
Un moyen de déconnexion omnipolaire de l’alimentation doit être prévu.
L’installation d’un parafoudre est conseillée (de tension résiduelle d’un maximum de 2 kV).
●● Passage des câbles
Les câbles enterrés doivent être équipés d’une gaine de protection de diamètre suffisant pour passer le câble du moteur
et les câbles des accessoires.
Pour les câbles non enterrés, utiliser un passe-câble qui supportera le passage des véhicules (réf. 2400484).
Consignes de sécurité relatives à l’installation
DANGER
Ne pas raccorder la motorisation à une source d’alimentation (secteur, batterie ou solaire) avant d’avoir terminé
l’installation.
AVERTISSEMENT
S’assurer que les zones dangereuses (écrasement, cisaillement, coincement) entre la partie entraînée et les parties
fixes environnantes dues au mouvement d’ouverture de la partie entraînée sont évitées ou signalées sur l’installation
(voir le paragraphe «Prévention des risques»).
AVERTISSEMENT
Il est strictement interdit de modifier l’un des éléments fournis dans ce kit ou d’utiliser un élément additif non préconisé
dans ce manuel.
Surveiller le portail en mouvement et maintenir les personnes éloignées jusqu’à ce que l’installation soit terminée.
Ne pas utiliser d’adhésifs pour fixer la motorisation.
Dispositif de débrayage manuel : voir paragraphe concernant ce dispositif dans le manuel d’utilisation de la motorisation.
AVERTISSEMENT
Le déverrouillage manuel peut entraîner un mouvement incontrôlé du portail.
ATTENTION
Installer tout dispositif de commande fixe à une hauteur d’au moins 1,5 m et en vue du portail mais éloigné des parties
mobiles.
Après installation, s’assurer que :
• le mécanisme est correctement réglé
• le dispositif de débrayage manuel fonctionne correctement
• la motorisation change de sens quand le portail rencontre un objet de 50 mm de haut positionné à mi-hauteur du vantail.
●● Dispositifs de sécurité
AVERTISSEMENT
Dans le cas d’un fonctionnement en mode automatique ou d’une commande hors vue, il est impératif d’installer des
cellules photoélectriques.
Dans le cas d’un fonctionnement en mode automatique ou si le portail donne sur la voie publique, l’installation d’un feu
orange peut être exigée, conformément à la réglementation du pays dans lequel la motorisation est mise en service.
●● Précautions vestimentaires
Enlever tous bijoux (bracelet, chaîne ou autres) lors de l’installation.
Pour les opérations de manipulation, de perçage et de soudure, porter les protections adéquates (lunettes spéciales,
gants, casque antibruit, etc.).

Prendre la mesure à mi-hauteur du portail, en positionnant l’outil de mesure perpendiculairement
à la partie entraînée qui se ferme.
La norme prescrit :
• une force dynamique ≤ 400 N
• un temps dynamique ≤ 750 ms
Les autres caractéristiques décrites par la norme sont validées par Somfy lors des essais de
type initiaux.

La motorisation doit être débrayée pendant son installation.
Assemblage de la poignée de déverrouillage manuel
[1]. Insérer la poignée de déverrouillage dans le logement spécial du moteur.
[2]. Visser la poignée de déverrouillage.

Le kit de fixation du moteur fourni est prévu pour une embase béton. Pour
tout autre type de support, utiliser des fixations adaptées.

• parallèlement au portail,
• en orientant le symbole du pignon vers le portail,
• en la décalant de 25 mm par rapport à l’aplomb avant de la crémaillère
(si la crémaillère est équipée d’un cache, réaliser la mesure à partir de
l’aplomb de la crémaillère et non du cache),
• de façon à ne pas gêner le passage et à assurer l’ouverture et la
fermeture totale du portail.

les étapes 2 et 3 de la procédure pour fixer la seconde patte sur la crémaillère.
Raccorder le fil de terre à la borne de terre de l’embase du moteur.
Le fil de terre doit toujours être plus long que la phase et le neutre de
sorte qu’il soit le dernier à être déconnecté en cas d’arrachement.
Le transformateur est câblé sur les bornes 3 et 4. Ne pas modifier ce
raccordement.
Mettre l’installation sous tension avant de commencer la mise en service.

Mise en service rapide
L’exécution de cette procédure par un canal déjà mémorisé provoque
l’effacement de celui-ci.

ppuyer sur la touche “PROG” (2 s) de l’interface de programmation.
L’écran affiche “F0”.
[2]. Appuyer simultanément sur les touches extérieures gauche et droite
de la télécommande. Le voyant de la télécommande clignote.
[3]. Appuyer sur la touche de la télécommande qui commandera
l’ouverture totale du portail. L’écran affiche “Add”.

Auto-apprentissage
L’auto-apprentissage permet d’ajuster la vitesse, le couple maximum et les zones de ralentissement du portail.
- L’auto-apprentissage de la course du portail est une étape obligatoire dans la mise en service de la motorisation.
- Le portail doit être en position intermédiaire avant de lancer l’auto-apprentissage.
- Pendant l’auto-apprentissage, la fonction de détection d’obstacle n’est pas active. Enlever tout objet ou obstacle et empêcher
toute personne d’approcher ou de se placer dans le rayon d’action de la motorisation.
- Pour effectuer un arrêt d’urgence pendant l’auto-apprentissage, utiliser une télécommande mémorisée ou appuyer sur une des touches
de l’interface.
Lancer l’auto-apprentissage
[1]. A
ppuyer sur la touche “SET” (2 s).
Relâcher la touche quand l’écran affiche “H1”.
[2]. Appuyer sur “OK” pour lancer l’auto-apprentissage.
L’auto-apprentissage doit commencer par une ouverture du portail.
Le portail effectue deux cycles Ouverture / Fermeture complets.

i l’auto-apprentissage commence par une fermeture du portail, arrêter l’autoapprentissage en cours (appui sur une touche de commande : électronique
moteur, télécommande mémorisée, point de commande câblé, etc.), basculer
le curseur indiqué ci-contre puis relancer un auto-apprentissage.
• Si l’auto-apprentissage est correct, l’afficheur indique “C1”.
• Si le cycle d’auto-apprentissage ne s’est pas déroulé correctement, l’afficheur
indique “H0”.
A la fin de l’installation, vérifier impérativement que la limitation des forces est conforme à l’annexe A de la norme EN 12 453.

L’auto-apprentissage peut être interrompu par :
• l’activation d’une entrée de sécurité (cellules photoélectriques, etc.)
• l’apparition d’un défaut technique (protection thermique, etc.)
• l’appui sur une touche de commande (électronique moteur, télécommande mémorisée, point de commande câblé, etc.).
En cas d’interruption, l’afficheur indique “H0”, la motorisation revient en mode “Attente de réglage”.
En mode “Attente de réglage”, les commandes radio fonctionnent et le mouvement du portail s’effectue à vitesse très réduite. Ce mode ne doit être utilisé
que pendant l’installation. Il est impératif de réaliser un auto-apprentissage réussi avant l’utilisation normale du portail.
Pendant l’auto-apprentissage, si le portail est à l’arrêt, un appui sur “SET” permet de sortir du mode auto-apprentissage.
Nota : Il est possible d’accéder au mode auto-apprentissage à tout moment y compris lorsque le cycle d’auto-apprentissage a déjà été effectué et que
l’afficheur indique “C1”.

Détection d’obstacle à l’ouverture = arrêt + retrait.
Détection d’obstacle à la fermeture = arrêt + réouverture totale.
Fonctionnement des cellules photoélectriques
Avec cellules photoélectriques connectées au contact sec./Cell (bornes 19-20) et paramètre Entrée de sécurité cellules P07 = 1.
Occultation des cellules portail ouvert = aucun mouvement du portail n’est possible jusqu’au passage en mode de fonctionnement homme mort (au bout
de 3 minutes).
Occultation des cellules à l’ouverture = état des cellules pas pris en compte, le portail continu son mouvement.
Occultation des cellules à la fermeture = arrêt + réouverture totale.
Fonctionnement de la barre palpeuse (fermeture uniquement)
Activation de la barre palpeuse à la fermeture = arrêt + réouverture totale.

Raccordement des périphériques
Description des différents périphériques
Cellules photoélectriques (Fig. 1)
Il est possible de faire trois types de raccordement :
A : Sans auto test : programmer le paramètre “P07” = 1.
B : Avec auto test : programmer le paramètre “P07” = 3.
Permet d’effectuer un test automatique du fonctionnement des cellules photoélectriques à chaque mouvement du portail.
Si le test de fonctionnement se révèle négatif, aucun mouvement du portail n’est possible jusqu’au passage en mode de fonctionnement homme mort
(au bout de 3 minutes).
C : BUS : programmer le paramètre “P07” = 4. Il est nécessaire de refaire un auto-apprentissage suite au raccordement BUS des cellules.
Si suppression des cellules, il est impératif de faire le pont entre les bornes 19 et 20.
L’installation de cellules photoélectriques est obligatoire si :
- le pilotage à distance de l’automatisme (sans visibilité de l’utilisateur) est utilisé,
- la fermeture automatique est activée (P01 = 1, 3 ou 4).
L’installation de cellules photoélectriques AVEC AUTO-TEST (P07 = 3 ou 4) est indispensable dans le cas de l’utilisation d’un boîtier
Tahoma pour la commande de l’automatisme.
Cellule photoélectrique Reflex (Fig. 2)
• Sans auto test : programmer le paramètre “P07” = 1.
• Avec auto test : programmer le paramètre “P07” = 2.
Permet d’effectuer un test automatique du fonctionnement de la cellule photoélectrique à chaque mouvement du portail.
Si le test de fonctionnement se révèle négatif, aucun mouvement du portail n’est possible jusqu’au passage en mode de fonctionnement homme mort (au
bout de 3 minutes).
L’installation de cellules photoélectriques AVEC AUTO-TEST (P07 = 2) est indispensable dans le cas de l’utilisation d’un boîtier Tahoma
pour la commande de l’automatisme.

Programmer le paramètre “P12” en fonction du mode de fonctionnement désiré :
• Sans préavis avant mouvement du portail : “P12” = 0.
• Avec préavis de 2 s avant mouvement du portail : “P12” = 1.
Raccorder le câble d’antenne aux bornes 7 (âme) et 8 (tresse).

Batterie 24 V (Fig. 7)

Pour un éclairage de classe I, raccorder le fil de terre à la borne de terre de l’embase.
Nota : En cas d’arrachement, le fil de terre doit toujours être plus long que la phase et le neutre.
Plusieurs éclairages peuvent être raccordés sans dépasser une puissance totale de 500 W.

Mémorisation des télécommandes Keytis io
Les opérations de mémorisation de la clé système et de mémorisation par recopie de télécommande Keytis io ne sont possibles que
sur le site de l’installation. Pour être autorisée à transférer sa clé système ou sa programmation, la télécommande déjà mémorisée doit
pouvoir entrer en communication radio avec un récepteur de l’installation.
Si l’installation comporte déjà d’autres produits io-homecontrol® avec au moins une télécommande bidirectionnelle mémorisée, la
télécommande Keytis io doit d’abord mémoriser la clé système (voir ci-dessous).
Une touche déjà mémorisée ne peut être mémorisée sur un second récepteur. Pour savoir si une touche est déjà mémorisée, appuyer sur celle-ci :
• touche déjà mémorisée → allumage voyant vert.
• touche non mémorisée → allumage voyant orange.
Pour effacer une touche déjà mémorisée, voir chapitre Effacement individuel d’une touche de télécommande Keytis io.

De motorisatie moet geïnstalleerd en ingesteld worden door een erkende installateur van automatiseringssystemen in
woningen, in overeenstemming met de reglementering van het land waarin de motorisatie gebruikt wordt.
De gebruiksaanwijzing en de installatie-aanwijzingen moeten aan de eindgebruiker overhandigd worden, waarbij duidelijk
moet aangegeven worden dat de installatie, de instelling en het onderhoud van de motorisatie uitgevoerd moeten worden
door een erkende installateur van automatiseringssystemen in woningen.

Dit product is een motorisatie voor verticaal openende garagedeuren, voor gebruik in de woonomgeving zoals vastgelegd
in de norm EN 60335-2-103 en is conform deze norm. Deze instructies zijn geschreven binnen het kader van deze norm
en om de veiligheid van personen en goederen te garanderen.
WAARSCHUWING
Ieder gebruik van dit product buiten het toepassingsgebied dat in deze handleiding is beschreven, is verboden (zie
paragraaf "Toepassingsgebied" van de installatie-aanwijzingen). Hierdoor en door het niet opvolgen van de instructies die
in deze handleiding staan, vervallen de aansprakelijkheid en de garantie van Somfy.
Het gebruik van enig veiligheidsaccessoire dat niet is goedgekeurd door Somfy is verboden.

Voorafgaande controles

LET OP
Houd de motorisatie droog.
Installeer de motorisatie niet in een explosieve omgeving.
●● Staat van het te motoriseren hek
Motoriseer geen hek dat in slechte staat verkeert of dat niet goed geïnstalleerd is.
Controleer, voor het installeren van de motorisatie, of:
• het hek mechanisch in goede staat verkeert
• het gemakkelijk te bewegen is, zonder zwaar punt
• de bevestigingen van het hek in goede staat verkeren
• het hek geen handmatig of elektrische vergrendelingssysteem heeft (tenzij dit compatibele is met de Somfy motorisatie)
• de punten waarop de motorisatie op vastgezet wordt in perfecte staat verkeren en stevig zijn.

Benodigde elektrische uitrusting

GEVAAR
De installatie van de elektrische voeding moet plaatsvinden in overeenstemming met de geldende normen in het land
van installatie van de motorisatie en worden uitgevoerd door een gekwalificeerde technicus.
De elektrische leiding mag uitsluitend gebruikt worden voor de motorisatie en moet voorzien zijn van een beveiliging door:
• een smeltveiligheid of een automatische zekering van 10 A,
• en door een aardlekschakelaar (30 mA).
Er moet een omnipolaire uitschakeling van de voeding aanwezig zijn.
De installatie van een overspanningsbeveiliging wordt geadviseerd (maximum restspanning 2 kV).
●● Ligging van de kabels
De ingegraven kabels moeten in een beschermhuls liggen met voldoende diameter om de kabel van de motor en de
kabels van de toebehoren erdoor te leiden.
Gebruik voor niet-ingegraven kabels een kabelgoot die bestand is tegen erover rijdende voertuigen (ref. 2400484).
Veiligheidsvoorschriften met betrekking tot de installatie
GEVAAR
Sluit de motorisatie niet aan op de voeding (lichtnet, batterij, zonnecel) voordat de installatie helemaal klaar is.
WAARSCHUWING
Controleer of er door de beweging van het aangedreven deel geen gevaarlijke zones (waar lichaamsdelen geplet,
afgesneden of bekneld kunnen worden) zijn tussen het aangedreven deel en de vaste omringende delen of dat deze
duidelijk zijn aangegeven op de installatie (zie de paragraaf "Risicopreventie").
WAARSCHUWING
Het is streng verboden enig onderdeel van deze set te wijzigen of een onderdeel toe te voegen dat niet in deze
handleiding wordt voorgeschreven.
Verlies het bewegende hek niet uit het oog en houd iedereen op afstand tot de installatie klaar is.

WAARSCHUWING
Door de handmatige ontgrendeling kan het hek een onverwachte beweging maken.
LET OP
Installeer vaste bedieningsorganen op een hoogte van ten minste 1,5 m en in het zicht van het hek maar buiten het
bereik van de bewegende delen.
Controleer na de installatie dat:
• het mechanisme correct is ingesteld
• de handmatige ontkoppeling correct werkt
• de motorisatie verandert van richting als het hek een voorwerp van 50 mm hoogte tegenkomt dat geplaatst is op de
halve hoogte van de vleugel.

WAARSCHUWING
Bij een automatisch werkend systeem of wanneer het bedieningspunt buiten het zicht is aangebracht, is het installeren
van foto-elektrische cellen verplicht.
Bij een automatisch werkend systeem of wanneer het hek uitkomt op de openbare weg, kan het installeren van een oranje
licht vereist zijn, in overeenstemming met de reglementering van het land waarin de motorisatie in gebruik is.

Draag geen sieraden (armband, ketting of andere) tijdens de installatie.
Draag bij het werken, boren en lassen speciale brillen en geschikte beschermingen (handschoenen, gehoorbeschermers,

Zelfprogrammering
Met de zelfprogrammering kan de snelheid, het maximale koppel en de vertragingszones van het hek worden afgesteld.
De zelfprogrammering van de slag van het hek is een verplichte stap bij het in bedrijf stellen van de motorisatie.
- Het hek moet in de tussenpositie staan voordat de zelfprogrammering wordt gestart.
- Tijdens de zelfprogrammering is de obstakeldetectiefunctie niet actief. Verwijder elk voorwerp of obstakel
en zorg dat er niemand dichtbij komt of in de actiestraal van de motorisatie komt.
- Om tijdens de zelfprogrammering een noodstop te maken, moet u een geprogrammeerde afstandsbediening gebruiken of op één van
de toetsen van de interface drukken.
Start de zelfprogrammering

zelfprogrammering stoppen (druk op een bedieningstoets: elektronica van de

kantel de hiernaast aangegeven cursor om een nieuwe zelfprogrammering te
starten.

De zelfprogrammering kan onderbroken worden door:
• het activeren van een veiligheidsingang (foto-elektrische cellen, enz.)
• het verschijnen van een technische storing (thermische bescherming, enz.)
• een druk op een bedieningstoets (motorelektronica, geprogrammeerde afstandsbediening, bedraad bedieningspunt, enz.).
In geval van onderbreking, geeft het display "H0"aan, de motorisatie gaat terug naar de modus "In afwachting van afstelling".
In de modus "In afwachting van afstelling", werken de radiocommando's en het bewegen van het wordt met erg lage snelheid uitgevoerd. Deze modus
mag alleen gebruikt worden tijdens de installatie. Het is belangrijk een geslaagde zelfprogrammering uit te voeren voor het normale gebruik van het hek.
Druk tijdens de zelfprogrammering als het hek gestopt is, op "SET" waardoor de zelfprogrammeringsmodus verlaten kan worden.
N.B.: Het is mogelijk om op elk moment toegang te krijgen tot de zelfprogrammeringsmodus ook als de zelfprogrammeringscyclus al uitgevoerd is en het
display "C1" aangeeft .

Aansluiten van de randorganen
Beschrijving van de verschillende randorganen

Foto-elektrische cellen (Fig. 1)
Er zijn drie types aansluitingen mogelijk:
A: Zonder zelftest: programmeer de parameter "P07" = 1.
B: Met zelftest: programmeer de parameter "P07" = 3.
Hiermee kan een automatische test van de werking van de foto-elektrische cellen uitgevoerd worden bij elke beweging van het hek.
Als de werkingstest negatief blijkt, is er geen enkele beweging van het hek mogelijk tot het overgaan naar de dodemans werkingsmodus (na 3 minuten).
C: BUS: programmeer de parameter "P07" = 4. Het is nodig om opnieuw een zelfprogrammering te doen na een BUS aansluiting van de cellen.
Indien de cellen verwijderd worden, moet er een brug gemaakt worden tussen de klemmen 19 en 20.
De installatie van foto-elektrische cellen is verplicht, als:
- de afstandsbesturing van het automatische systeem (buiten het zicht van de gebruiker) wordt gebruikt,
- het automatisch sluiten is geactiveerd (P01 = 1, 3 of 4).
De installatie van foto-elektrische cellen MET ZELFTEST (P07 = 3 of 4) is verplicht als een Tahoma-eenheid gebruikt wordt voor de
bediening van het automatische systeem.
Foto-elektrische cel Reflex (Fig. 2)
• Zonder zelftest: programmeer de parameter "P07" = 1.
• Met zelftest: programmeer de parameter "P07" = 2.
Hiermee kan een automatische test van de werking van de foto-elektrische cel uitgevoerd worden bij elke beweging van het hek.
Als de werkingstest negatief blijkt, is er geen enkele beweging van het hek mogelijk tot het overgaan naar de dodemans werkingsmodus (na 3 minuten).
De installatie van foto-elektrische cellen MET ZELFTEST (P07 = 2) is verplicht als een Tahoma-eenheid gebruikt wordt voor de bediening
van het automatische systeem.
Oranje licht (Fig. 3)
Programmeer de parameter "P12" afhankelijk van de gewenste werkingsmodus:
• Zonder voorwaarschuwing voor de beweging van het hek: "P12" = 0.
• Met voorwaarschuwing van 2 s voor de beweging van het hek: "P12" = 1.
Sluit de antennekabel aan op de klemmen 7 (kern) en 8 (vlecht).

Hiermee kan een automatische test van de werking van de contactstrip uitgevoerd worden bij elke beweging van het hek.
Als de werkingstest negatief blijkt, is er geen enkele beweging van het hek mogelijk tot het overgaan naar de dodemans werkingsmodus (na 3 minuten).
Indien de contactstrip verwijderd wordt, moet er een brug gemaakt worden tussen de klemmen 17 en 18.
Accu 24 V (Fig. 7)
[1]. Plaats en schroef de printplaat van de regeling van de accuvoeding vast.

Verbind, voor een verlichting van Klasse I, de aardingsdraad met de aardingsklem van de grondplaat.
N.B.: In geval van losrukken, moet de aardingsdraad altijd langer zijn dan de fasedraad en de nulleider.
Verschillende verlichtingen kunnen aangesloten worden met een maximaal totaal vermogen van 500 W.

Sequentiële werking met tijdsduur voor automatische sluiting:
- het hek sluit automatisch na de geprogrammeerde tijdsduur
van de parameter "P02",
- een druk op de toets van de afstandsbediening onderbreekt de
beweging die bezig is en de tijdsduur van het sluiten (het hek
blijft open).
Werking met automatische sluiting:
- het hek sluit automatisch na de geprogrammeerde tijdsduur
van de parameter "P02",
- een druk op de toets van de afstandsbediening tijdens het
openen heeft geen effect,
- een druk op de toets van de afstandsbediening tijdens het
sluiten zorgt voor het weer openen,
- een druk op de toets van de afstandsbediening tijdens de
tijdsduur van het sluiten start de tijdsduur opnieuw (het hek
sluit aan het eind van de nieuwe tijdsduur).
Als er een obstakel aanwezig is in de detectiezone van de
cellen, dan sluit het hek niet. Het sluit pas als het obstakel
verwijderd is.
Na het openen van het hek wordt het, bij een beweging voor
de cellen (sluitveiligheid), gesloten na een korte vertraging (2 s
vast).
Als er niets voor de cellen beweegt, dan wordt het
hek automatisch gesloten na de met parameter "P02"
geprogrammeerde tijdsduur.
Als er een obstakel aanwezig is in de detectiezone van de
cellen, dan sluit het hek niet. Het sluit pas als het obstakel
verwijderd is.
5: dodeman (bedraad)
In dodemansmodus (bedraad):
- de besturing van het hek vindt uitsluitend plaats door het ingedrukt houden van de
bedrade bediening,
- de radiocommando's zijn niet actief.

Een afstandsbediening kan op twee manieren geprogrammeerd worden:
• Programmeren vanaf de programmeringsinterface.
• Programmeren door kopiëren van een reeds geprogrammeerde afstandsbediening.
Het programmeren gebeurt voor elke bedieningstoets afzonderlijk.
Door het programmeren van een reeds geprogrammeerde toets wordt de bestaande programmering gewist.

Te programmeren afstandsbediening
Programmeren van de Keytis io afstandsbedieningen
Het programmeren van de systeemcode en het programmeren door middel van kopiëren van de Keytis io afstandsbediening zijn alleen
mogelijk op de plaats van de installatie. Om de systeemcode of de programmering te mogen verzenden, moet de reeds geprogrammeerde
afstandsbediening een radioverbinding maken met een ontvanger van de installatie.
Als de installatie reeds andere io-homecontrol® producten bevat met ten minste één geprogrammeerde tweerichtings afstandsbediening,
moet eerst de systeemcode geprogrammeerd worden in de Keytis io afstandsbediening (zie hieronder).
Een reeds geprogrammeerde toets kan niet geprogrammeerd worden op een tweede ontvanger. Om te weten of een toets reeds geprogrammeerd is, drukt
u op deze toets:
• toets reeds geprogrammeerd → groene led brandt.
• toets niet geprogrammeerd → oranje led brandt.
Om een reeds geprogrammeerde toets te wissen, zie hoofdstuk Afzonderlijk wissen van een toets van een Keytis io afstandsbediening.
Programmeren van de systeemcode
. Deze stap is verplicht als de installatie reeds andere io-homecontrol® producten bevat met ten minste één geprogrammeerde
tweerichtings afstandsbediening.
. Als de te programmeren Keytis io afstandsbediening de eerste afstandsbediening van het systeem is, ga dan direct naar de stap
Programmeren van de Keytis io afstandsbediening.

• Keytis io, Telis io, Impresario io, Composio io afstandsbedieningen: druk op de toets “KEY” tot de groene led brandt (2 s).

In de volgende gevallen is het programmeren van een Keytis io afstandsbediening onmogelijk:

. Meerdere ontvanger van de installatie zijn in de programmeermodus.
. Meerdere afstandsbedieningen zijn in de codeverzendmodus of in de programmeermodus.
Elke incorrecte programmering wordt gesignaleerd door een serie snelle piepjes en het knipperen van de oranje led op de Keytis
afstandsbediening.

complies. The main purpose of these instructions is to satisfy the requirements of the aforementioned standard and to
ensure the safety of equipment and persons.

Any use of this product outside the area of application described in this manual is prohibited (see "Area of application"
paragraph in the installation manual). Such use, and any failure to comply with the instructions given in this guide, absolves
Somfy of any liability and invalidates the warranty.

Preliminary checks

Do not install the motorisation in an explosive environment.
>> Condition of the gate to be motorised
Do not motorise a gate which is in bad condition or incorrectly installed.
Before installing the motorisation, check that:
-- the gate is in good mechanical condition
-- it can be manoeuvred easily with no points of resistance
-- the mountings for the gate are in good condition
-- the gate is not equipped with any manual or electric locking system (unless compatible with the Somfy motorisation)
-- the points where the motorisation will be attached are sturdy and in perfect condition.

Electrical pre-equipment
DANGER
The installation of the power supply must comply with the standards in force in the country in which the motorisation is
installed, and must be carried out by qualified personnel.
The electric line must be exclusively reserved for the motorisation and equipped with protection, comprising:
-- a 10 A fuse or breaker,
-- a differential type device (30 mA).
An all-pole supply cut-off device must be provided.
It is recommended that you fit a lightning conductor (maximum residual voltage 2 kV).
>> Cable feed
Underground cables must be equipped with a protective sheath with a sufficient diameter to contain the motor cable and
the accessories cables.
For overground cables, use a cable grommet that will withstand the weight of vehicles (ref. 2400484).
Safety instructions relating to installation

DANGER
Do not connect the motorisation to a power source (mains, battery or solar) before installation is complete.
WARNING
Ensure that any danger zones (crushing, cutting, trapping) between the driven part and the surrounding fixed elements
caused by the opening movement of the driven part are avoided or indicated on the installation (see the section on risk
prevention).
WARNING
Modifying one of the elements provided in this kit or using an additional element not recommended in this manual is
strictly prohibited.
Monitor the gate as it moves and keep people away from it until installation is complete.
Do not use adhesive to secure the motorisation.
Manual back release device: see paragraph concerning this device in the user manual for the motorisation.
WARNING
Manual unlocking may result in uncontrolled movement of the gate.
Attention
Install any fixed control device at a height of at least 1.5 m and within sight of the gate, but away from moving parts.
After installation, ensure that:
-- the mechanism is correctly adjusted
-- the manual back release device is operating correctly
-- the motorisation changes direction when the gate encounters an object 50 mm high positioned halfway up the leaf.

WARNING
For operation in automatic mode or remote control, photoelectric cells must be installed.
For operation in automatic mode, or if the gate faces a public road, an orange light type signalling device may be required
to comply with the regulations in the country in which the motorisation is installed.

Take off any jewellery (bracelet, chain, etc.) during installation.
For manoeuvring, drilling and welding operations, wear appropriate protection (special glasses, gloves, ear protection,
etc.).

The motorisation must be disengaged during installation.

Installing the motorisation
Fitting the mounting system
The motor mounting kit provided is to be used on a concrete base. For all
other types of mounting, use the appropriate fittings.

• with the symbol on the pinion pointing towards the gate,
• by moving it by 25 mm in relation to the front line of the rack (if the
rack is fitted with a cover, measure from the line on the rack, not on the
cover),

open and close completely.

Mounting the motor
[1]. Position the motor on the lag screws, insert it and push it towards the gate.

mm between the rack and the pinion. This setting is important to prevent premature

Switch on the power to the installation before commissioning.

Self-learning
Self-learning allows the gate's speed, maximum torque and slowdown zones to be adjusted.

- Auto programming the gate's travel is essential when commissioning the motor.
- The gate must be in the intermediate position before self-learning starts.
- During self-learning, the obstacle detection function is not active. Remove any objects or obstacles and do not allow any
persons near or inside the operating range of the motorisation.
- To carry out an emergency stop during self-learning, use a stored remote control or press one of the interface buttons.
Start self-learning

At the end of installation, it must be checked that the limitation of forces complies with appendix A of the standard EN 12 453.

Self-learning can be interrupted by:
• activating a safety input (photoelectric cells, etc.)
• the appearance of a technical fault (thermal protection, etc.)
• pressing a control button (motor electronics, memorised remote control, wired control point, etc.).
In case of interruption, the display indicates "H0" and the motor returns to "Awaiting setting" mode.
In "Awaiting setting" mode, the radio controls operate and the gate moves very slowly. This mode must only be used during installation. Self-learning must
be successfully performed before the gate can be used normally.
During self-learning, if the gate is stationary, pressing "SET" will exit self-learning mode.
Note: It is possible to access self-learning mode at any time including when the self-learning cycle has already been completed and the display indicates
"C1".

Connecting additional devices
Description of the various additional devices
Photoelectric cells (Fig. 1)
Three types of connection are possible:
A: Without autotest: programme parameter "P07" = 1.
B: With autotest: programme parameter "P07" = 3.
Allows an automatic test to be carried out to check the operation of the photoelectric cells each time the gate moves.
If the operating test result is negative, the gate cannot be moved until the operating mode changes to deadman operation (after 3 minutes).
C: BUS: programme parameter "P07" = 4. Self-learning must be repeated after the cell BUS has been connected.
If cells are removed, it is essential to create the bridge between terminals 19 and 20.
It is compulsory to install photoelectric cells if:
- the automatic control device is being controlled remotely (user unable to see it),
- automatic closing is activated (P01 = 1, 3 or 4).
It is compulsory to install photoelectric cells WITH AUTOTEST (P07 = 3 or 4) if the automatic control device is being controlled by a
Tahoma control box.

For class I lighting, connect the earth wire to the earth terminal on the base of the motor.
Note: The earth wire must always be longer than the live and neutral wires in case of detachment.
Several lights may be connected provided the total power does not exceed 500 W.

Types of remote control
There are two types of remote control:
• monodirectional: Keygo io, Situo io, Smoove io

Memorising the remote controls
There are two ways to memorise a remote control:
• Memorising via the programming interface.
• Memorising by copying a previously memorised remote control.
Each control button is memorised individually.
Memorising a button which has already been memorised will clear this button's function.

Memorising by copying a previously memorised Keygo io remote control
This operation is used to copy the programming from a previously memorised remote control button.
[1]. Press the outer left and right buttons on the previously memorised remote control simultaneously until the green indicator light flashes.
[2]. Press and hold the button to be copied on the previously memorised remote control for 2 seconds.
[3]. Briefly press the outer left and right buttons on the new remote control together.
[4]. Briefly press the selected button to actuate the motorisation on the new remote control.

Memorising the Keytis io remote controls
The Keytis io remote control system key memorising and copy memorising operations can only be carried out at the installation site.
To obtain authorisation to transfer its system key or programming, the previously memorised remote control must be able to establish
radio communication with a receiver on the installation.
If the installation already includes other io-homecontrol® products with at least one memorised bidirectional remote control, the Keytis
io remote control must first memorise the system key (see below).
A previously memorised button cannot be memorised on a second receiver. To find out whether a button has already been memorised, press it:
• button already memorised → green indicator light comes on.
• button not memorised → orange indicator light comes on.
To clear a previously memorised button, refer to the section entitled Clearing individual buttons on the Keytis io remote control.
Memorising the system key
. This step must be performed if the installation already includes other io-homecontrol® products with at least one
memorised bidirectional remote control.
. If the Keytis io remote control to be memorised is the first remote control on the system, go directly to the step "Memorising the Keytis
io remote control".
[1]. Setting the memorised remote control to key transfer mode:
• Keytis io, Telis io, Impresario io, Composio io remote controls: press the "KEY" button until the green indicator light comes on (2 s).
• Other remote control: refer to the instructions.
[2]. Briefly press the "KEY" button on the new remote control. Wait for the confirmation beep (a few seconds).

This operation is used to copy all the buttons on a previously memorised remote control.
The new remote control must not be memorised for another automatic control system.
Ensure that the new remote control has memorised the system key.
[1]. Press the "PROG" button on the memorised remote control until the green indicator light comes on (2 s).
[2]. Briefly press the "PROG" button on the new remote control.
Wait for the second beep and the green indicator light to start flashing rapidly (a few seconds).

This operation is used to copy the memorisation of a single button on a previously memorised remote control to a blank button on a new remote control.
Ensure that the new remote control has memorised the system key.
[1]. Press the "PROG" button on the memorised remote control until the green indicator light comes on (2 s).
[2]. Briefly press the button to be copied on the previously memorised remote control.
[3]. Briefly press the "PROG" button on the new remote control.
Wait for the confirmation beep (a few seconds).
[4]. Briefly press the selected button to actuate the motor on the new remote control.

It is not possible to memorise Keytis io remote controls in the following cases:
. The remote control has not memorised the system key.
. Several of the installation's receivers are in programming mode.
. Several remote controls are in key transfer or memorisation mode.
Incorrect memorisation is indicated by a rapid series of beeps accompanied by a flashing orange indicator light on the Keytis remote
control.

Note: pressing "PROG" again allows the next function to be memorised.

Clearing individual buttons on the Keytis io or Keygo io remote controls
This can be done:
• by memorising via the programming interface.
Memorising a button which has already been memorised will clear this button's function.
• by clearing directly on the remote control (only on Keytis io remote controls)
Simultaneously press the “PROG” button and the BUTTON to be cleared on the remote control.
Clearing the memorised remote controls
Causes all memorised remote controls and the memorised system key to be cleared.

Keytis io remote control general reset
Press the "PROG" and "KEY" buttons together. This causes:
• the programming to be completely cleared (all buttons),
• all the settings on the remote control to be cleared (refer to the instructions for the Keytis io
remote control),
• the system key memorised by the remote control to be modified.
Clearing all settings
Clears the self-learning and resets the default values for all parameters.

Locking the programming buttons
The programming buttons must be locked to ensure the safety of the users.
When the programming buttons are locked, a dot appears after the 1st digit.
Press the "SET", "+" and "-" buttons.
- the "SET" button must be pressed first.

To access the programming again, repeat this procedure.
