of VDR/S-VDR Real Time Monitor software. To set up the VDR/S-VDR for VDR/S-VDR Real Time Monitor, use the latest Maintenance software (Ver. 1.2.0A). If your Maintenance software is old version, download the latest version from Marin Service Home Page. Since the VDR IF (Router) model is changed from AR410 to AR415S, do not mistake it. When Radar IF is connected to VDR/S-VDR, VDR IF (Router) should be connected for separation between Radar IF and user LAN. The Firewall of the VDR IF unit is invalidated beforehand at factory shipment. If the operation check is completion, the firewall should be validated. VDR/S-VDR JCY-1800/1850 HUB Server PC Radar IF NWP-46 Client PC Note The power cable for the object for AC100 and AC200V is attached to the VDR IF. Please connect a power cable according to the supply voltage of use. VDR/S-VDR Real Time Monitor / Installation Manual 13 Chapter4 Wiring RCU upside is recommended as installation place. To wire AC power cable of the VDR IF, secure 7cm for back space of the VDR IF, and fix it. 【Note】 If the VDR IF is fixed as the following figure, backs space of the VDR IF will be secured 7cm. In order to fix the VDR IF, please use the attached magic tape in the VDR IF kit. Magic Tape Note In case of reassignment of IP address, in order to correct the VDR IF setup, please get the VDR IF setting cable by following code, and set up the VDR IF. The setup way is shown in this chapter. (1)Click the”JCY1800 Maintenance” icon, and start the maintenance software. (2)Select “VDR” or “S-VDR” in the Setup Equipment block of Login screen, and log in the software. In case of JCY-1800: Select VDR In case of JCY-1850: Select S-VDR Select VDR or S-VDR. [Option PC(VDR Real Time Monitor)] button (4)Click the [Receive] button in the Option screen, and read current setup data. Every data can be selected, and moreover all output can be set up by package with the [All Enable] button and [All Disable] button. [All Enable]: “✓” is entered by package in check box of all the data which is possible to out. [All Disable]: “✓” is removed by package in check box of all the data which is possible to out. [All Enable]/ [All Disable] Button (7) Make sure the setup, and click the [Set] button. Maintenance software sends the setup data, and then reboots VDR/S-VDR automatically. [Set] button (8) If the maintenance software logs in VDR/S-VDR after restart, the setup for VDR/S-VDR Real Time Monitor is completion. (9) Click the [Logout] button, and quit the Maintenance software. And also set the IP address to the PC. ・ ・ ・ ・ ・ ・ ・ Set the IP address Stop automatic synchronization with an Internet time server Stop the Remote Assistance Stop the Automatic Updates Stop the Error Reporting Invalidate the Windows Firewall Set the Power Options 6.2.1 Set the IP address Set the IP address to the installed PC. Shows the assignment of the IP addresses in Table 6.2-1. If the IP address automatically is assigned by DHCP in the user LAN, cancel the DHCP. And register an unused fix IP address in the user LAN and add above IP address. Refer to "9.2 Example of connection" for more detail. VDR/S-VDR Real Time Monitor / Installation Manual 19 Chapter6 PC (Server/Client) Setup (1) Click the “Network and Internet Connections” in the Control Panel screen. Network and Internet Connections (2) Click the “Network Connections”. Network Connections (3) Right-click the “Local Area Connection”, and select the Properties menu. (5) Enter the IP address and the Subnet mask, and click the [OK] button. If the IP address which is different from default is already assigned in the user LAN, click the [Advance] button and go to (6). And Add registration of the IP address shown in the Table 6.2-1 to the Server or Client PC. VDR/S-VDR Real Time Monitor / Installation Manual 22 Chapter6 PC (Server/Client) Setup 6.2.2 Stop automatic synchronization with an Internet time server Shows how to stop automatic synchronization with an Internet time server. (1) Click the clock indication at the lower right of a screen. (2) The “Date and Time Properties” screen is indicated, and select the “Internet Time” tab. (3) Remove the “Automatically synchronize with an Internet time server” check, and click the [OK] button. The automatic synchronization is stopped. VDR/S-VDR Real Time Monitor / Installation Manual 23 Chapter6 PC (Server/Client) Setup 6.2.3 Stop the Remote Assistance (1) Click the “Performance and Maintenance” in the Control Panel screen. (4) Remove the “Remote Assistance” check, and click the [OK] button. The Remote Assistance is stopped. (4) Click the [Error Reporting] button. VDR/S-VDR Real Time Monitor / Installation Manual 30 Chapter6 PC (Server/Client) Setup 6.2.6 Invalidate the Windows Firewall The setup screen for the Windows Firewall changes with versions of Service Pack of Windows XP. Invalidate the Firewall after confirming version of Service Pack. Note It is possible to confirm version of Service Pack by the following operations. ・Right-click the My Computer, and select the Properties menu. ・ Select the System in order of the Control Panel -> the Performance and Maintenance. 6.2.6.1 In case of Service Pack1 (1) Click the “Network and Internet Connections” in the Control Panel screen. (4) Select the Advanced tab, and remove the Windows Firewall check. The Firewall is invalidated.
