Flexible (‘Flex’) button
Button Guide
1. LCD Screen: phone interface for status, dialing directories, and message information.
2. Flex Button: a line or feature can be assigned to these buttons - ask your system administrator for help.
3. Transfer: transfer the current active call or access the PGM (program) menu while the phone is idle.
4. Speed: assign or use assigned speed dial numbers.
5. DND (Do-Not-Disturb): blocks incoming calls.
You can also activate Do-Not-Disturb while the phone is ringing.
6. Call Back: initiate a call back request to a busy station. Once that station becomes idle, the initiating station is signaled.
7. Mute: mute the call so that the caller cannot hear your voice.
8. Volume control: adjust the Ring, Headset,
Handset, and Speaker volume.
9. Speakerphone: toggle the speakerphone On and Off during a call. The button will automatically illuminate when the phone is in menu mode.
10. Hold/Save: place a call on hold or use to save information when programming.

Placing a call on hold
Lift the handset and press the flashing flex button (as needed)
Press a free Loop/Line flex button or the 9 key to pick up an outside line. Once you have the outside line, dial your number.
Lift the handset. Dial the extension number or press the flex button assigned to the contact.
Press the DND button when a call comes in - the caller will get a fast busy tone.
Lift the handset and dial ** to pick up any handset in your group
If the handset is not in your group dial 7 and then the intercom number of the ringing handset.
During a call, press the Hold/Save button.
To reconnect the call, press the green flashing Loop/Line flex button.

Last Number Redial (LNR)
Lift the handset
Press the Speed button
Dial the desired System or Station Speed Dial number
Register redial to a flex button.
Lift the handset.
Select the Redial flex button
Use the Volume keys to select from the last 100 numbers dialed
Press Hold/Save to dial
Call waiting
Camp On When dialing an extension that is engaged, the Camp On feature allows the station to be notified that there is a call waiting. Press * to wait off-hook.

Press the Transfer button
Dial the extension number, external number or press the programmed flex button
Either speak to the recipient to announce the call or simply hang up.

Makes your extension unavailable for calls
Press the green flashing Loop/Line flex button.
Press DND button to activate.
Press DND button again to deactivate.
Please note that this is not available on the attendant handset.
Ad Hoc Conference Calls
3 way calling
To call the first party, follow “Making an External/internal Call” above for instructions.
Once connected press the pre-programmed Conference flex button* once.
Call the second party (as above).
Once connected, press the Conference flex button twice to connect the calls.
*To program a flex button, press Transfer then the button you wish to assign, dial XX and then press Hold/Save.
To place a conference call on hold, press the Hold/Save button. Press again to retrieve the conference.
Programming Call Forward
Routes your calls to another extension/ group/speed dial
(this will override your voicemail functions.)
Lift the handset
Press the DND button
Dial the type of forward code 1-4
Dial the destination number
To deactivate, follow the first two steps then Dial #.
