Frequently asked questions

The sensors transmit data to the system based on the set heartbeat interval. The default heartbeat interval is 10 minutes, but it is recommended to set it to 120 minutes (2 hours) to preserve battery life. You can change the heartbeat interval in the sensor configuration settings.

You can configure notifications to be sent via SMS text or email when the temperature readings from the sensors meet or exceed the specified thresholds. You can customize the notification parameters, such as the message, the time frame for alerts, and the specific sensors that trigger notifications.

Sensors can be mounted using the screws or loop & lock tape provided in the kit. You should place them on a clean, dry, flat surface, at least 3 ft away from each other and any wireless gateway for clear transmissions. Ensure the probe is secured inside the cabinet using moisture-resistant tape, cable ties, or other suitable methods.

You can view sensor data history as text or in a graphical chart within the sensor data window. The date range for the viewable information can be adjusted by clicking on the date range box at the top right of the sensor data window. You can also zoom in on specific portions of the chart for detailed analysis.

Sensor data can be exported to a comma-separated value (.csv) file for use in spreadsheet software like Microsoft Excel®. To export data, select the desired date range, choose the sensors for export, and then click on the "Export Data" button. The exported file will be downloaded to your browser's default download directory.
