Warning:The caller display will not work and you will only be able to make and receive basic handset calls without batteries installed.

4. Plug one end of the telephone line cord into the other socket in the underside of the base unit, and route the cable through the cable guide at the back, then plug the other end into your telephone wall socket.

Speakerphone volume control

Warning: If you connect the telephone to a line with a broadband (ADSL) connection, you must use a micro-filter between the telephone and telephone line, otherwise you may get interference between the telephone and the broadband, which could cause problems.

If you need broadband micro-filters, contact your broadband supplier.

Install 3 Alkaline AAA batteries into the battery compartment in the underside of the base, as shown below, and replace the cover before use.

Batteries are not included with the unit.

When the batteries are low, will show on the right side of the display screen, If you do not replace the batteries, they will become totally discharged and your display screen will not work. and you may lose all the telephone memories and settings.

The Recall function may be required for some special services of your network provider. During a call, pressing the R button generates a line interruption and the length depends on your FLASH setting. The default value is

100ms,which is correct for most UK exchanges and should not need changing.

This phone automatically stores the caller display information from the last 30 incoming calls.

If new calls are stored, they are indicated by a number from 1 to 30 next to the

“NEW” icon at the top right of the display.

The total number of calls in the list is indicated by “00 CALL”, “01 CALL” or “XX

CALLS” on the display in standby, where XX is a number from 2 to 30.

When viewing the calls list, the “IN” icon appears at the top right with a number to indicate the position of the displayed call in the calls list.

The IN USE light indicator will turn OFF.
