4.6 Mute a Call
You can mute the microphone so that you can talk to someone nearby without letting the caller hear you during a call.
During a call:

Press MUTE
DELETE
to mute the microphone and “MUTED” will display on the LCD. Your caller cannot hear you.
Press MUTE
DELETE
again to unmute the microphone.
4.7 End a Call
During a call connection, press OFF to end the call.
Or
Put the handset on the base or charger to end the call.
4.8 Set the Silent Mode
In idle, press and hold # to turn off the handset ringer.
“ rInGEr OFF” icon is displayed on the LCD.
In silent mode, press and hold # to turn on the handset ringer.
“ rInGEr OFF” icon will disappear.
4.9 Turn the Keypad Lock On/OFF
You can lock the keypad so that it cannot be used accidentally while carrying it around.

“ KEypAD LOCKED” icon is displayed on the LCD.
To unlock the keypad, press and hold .
