Advance configuration
HVAC setback
Usually made up of two separate items: a heating system (furnace, baseboard heaters, etc.) and a cooling system. Two types of control: heating and cooling with fan control when available.
The main difference between HVAC/setback and HVAC is that in the case of HVAC, heating and cooling modes are integrated into one system while in the case of HVAC/setback, heating and cooling modes are two separate entities.
ATTENTION!:
it is impossible to have both heating and cooling at the same time in the HVAC mode (there is a built-in 2-degree minimum difference) but this may occur with the HVAC/setback mode because heating and cooling are two separate units. Therefore temperature and the
functioning of the two systems may overlap if the user does not pay attention to it.
