12 Maintenance and repair

Devices have to be repaired by R.STAHL only. The devices are maintenance-free.
Troubleshooting chart:
Error detection Malfunction cause(s) Trouble-shooting
“PWR” LED not lit
Output signals defective
2-wire calibration does not work
Power supply failure or device fuse is defective
Sensor is incorrectly connected
Incorrect DIP switch setting
Device is PC-programmed, however the DIP switch is not in the OFF position
2-wire calibration is blocked
2-wire calibration to large
Device malfunction.
Check power supply.
If device fuse is defective, send device in for repair.
Check connections (see 6.1)
Set DIP switch as per 6.2
Set DIP switch S2-12...1 to OFF
Set DIP switch S2-12 to OFF
Perform line balancing as per 7.1
Short-circuit the sensor
Return the device. Green "PWR" LED flashes continuously
Red "LF" LED is lit
Red "LF" LED flashs
Line error in the input
Out of measuring range
Check connections (see 6.1)
Configure an appropriate measuring range
