Operating principle
The standard architecture of the PLC with I/O modules and periodical or event tasks does not allow for the reaction time required by certain types of applications.
The aim of the TSX DMY 28 RFK discrete reflex module is to resolve these particular application issues. In order to do this, it has: z z a faster response time than the Fast task or event task.
an output reaction with a simple logic of under 0.5 ms, z z z speed control for moving parts and movement stopping control when the speed becomes too slow,
feedback control between movements, time-outs with a time base of 0.1ms
z z continuous oscillation generation at a fixed frequency, but with a variable duty cycle,
...
The TSX DMY 28 RFK module operates independently from the PLC task . It has its own I/Os (16I/12O), ensuring a reaction time of less than 1ms.
At the same time, the internal variables are exchanged with the PLC processor, but at the rate of the PLC task assigned to them.
These variables are as follows: z z z the image bits of the module's physical input status (%I), the image bits of the module's physical and auxiliary output statuses (%I), the command bits of the module outputs (%Q).
