Finding a log entry
The “Event Log Viewer” allows you to search for event logs that contain specified text. You could, for example, use this to look for all the users who logged into a program on a certain day.
You would then search for event messages that have the text “login”.
To search for a log entry
1. In the “ Event Log Viewer ” window, select the HandiSoft program or user for which you want
to find specific events.
This will search through all the available event logs for that program or user. You can narrow down the search by expanding the user or program entry and selecting a year, month or day. You can also search through the logs for all the users or programs or by selecting the “Users” or “HandiSoft Programs” entry at the top of the tree.
2. Click Find.
Security 2015 will open the “Find In Log” window.
