Chapter 3. Trust cards HandiTrust 2015
If you enter the Client Payment against the correct trust card, the transaction would be saved and the cheque drawn without any error messages.
Creating a trust card
Whenever you record a transaction against a new combination of Client, Bank Account, Firm, and Activity, HandiTrust 2015 will automatically create a trust card.
You cannot manually create a trust card.
Maintaining the trust cards
You can perform a number of different operations on the trust cards. These are discussed in detail below:

1. From the View menu, click Cards.

Make a card Active or Inactive
You may want to prevent transactions from being recorded against a specific trust card. To do this, mark the trust card as Inactive.
1. From the View menu, click Cards.
2. On the “Trust Cards” window, highlight the required trust card and then click Active.
The indicator in the “A” column will change. Active trust cards have an “A” displayed against them.
Tip: The Active button toggles a trust card between being Active and Inactive.
Print a trust card's statement
For instructions on printing trust card statements, see Chapter 15, "Statements".
Delete a trust card
Tip: You can only delete a trust card if no transactions have been recorded against the card. If transactions have been recorded against the card, instead of deleting the trust card, make the card inactive.
To delete a trust card:
1. From the View menu, click Cards.
2. On the “Trust Cards” window, highlight the required trust card, and then click
Delete.
3. Click OK.
