2.1.13 Pre-marked Marker Rings

cmotion offers three pre-marked rings with an engraved scale from infinity to a three different close focus values. These are available in Imperial and Metric and can be used with a wide range of lenses from wide angle to telelphoto. For more information refer to section 4.18 on page 66.

NOTE: If you received your cvolution system before 20th December

2013, your cvolution knob will need to be calibrated at cmotion before it can be used accurately with pre-marked rings. For more info contact cmotion support.

3. System Setup

This section will guide you through the cvolution system setup. Starting with the camin 2M/4M/8M units then proceeding to cvolution hand unit and cvolution zoom unit.

3.1 camin 2M/4M/8M

3.1.1 Attaching camin to the Camera

Mount Lens Motors and camin 2M/4M/8M securely to the camera. The

camin can be attached to the camera using various fastening tools. The most popular and secure is the cmotion cfast-vlock. This can be used with or without a cfastener.
