The Multimat ® Easy consists of an attractively designed and stable metal housing (1) with a fi ring chamber top
(2). The heat inside the fi ring chamber (2) is generated by a quartz muffl e with an openly radiating fi lament winding. The walls of the heating chamber are fi lled with insulating ceramic fi bres to keep the heat loss to a minimum
(see also “Safe handling of ceramic fibres”).
The fi ring objects including the fi ring base and fi ring support (see “Optional accessories”) are placed on the moving fi ring platform (3). During the fi ring process, the fi ring platform is raised into the fi ring chamber, to be lowered again once the fi ring process has been completed.
The chamber is lowered and raised by a geared-down stepper motor.
For easier of handling, the fi ring object including the fi ring support can be placed on the U-shaped magnetic rest.
The control panel (5) and display (6) are ergonomically located at the front of the unit. It allows you to activate the pre-defi ned fi ring programs or to defi ne and store your own fi ring programs. All fi ring processes are controlled by an electronic microcontroller inside the unit.
The unit rests on four feet (7) for maximum stability.
