Frequently asked questions
You can download the latest version of the Schlage Utility Software from the Schlage website and then follow the instructions in the User Guide. The synchronization software will automatically transfer the software to the handheld device.
To change the Programming Password, follow the instructions in the User Guide to log in as a Manager. Then select SUS Options > Programming Password. You will be asked to enter the Old Password and provide a New Password. The new password must be at least four characters long. You must confirm the New Password and then select Submit.
When Auto Update is enabled, the Schlage Utility Software will collect audits as soon as the lock is connected. When Manual Update is enabled, follow the steps in the User Guide. Confirm that the HHD is connected to the lock. Double-tap the displayed name of the connected lock. The audit collection will begin. A progress indicator will be displayed during collection of the audit. A message will be displayed once audit collection is complete. Collecting audits on the HHD does not delete the audits from a lock. Collected audits will be transferred from HHD to your Access Control Software the next time they are synchronized. Collecting audits on the HHD does not add/remove users to/from a lock.
