ORTHO CLINICAL DIAGNOSTICS - This analyzer helps reduce laborintensive, time-consuming processes and increases productivity through random access, discrete testing and continuous throughput. The unit enhances process control with dispense verification, barcode tracking from start to finish and multilevel password protection. Analyzer features GEL Test™ technology, which can standardize your blood bank’s complete testing menu. Its quality control features monitor reagent expiration and gel card integrity and can reduce transcription errors thanks to a bidirectional interface. Has a sample carousel that holds

48 tubes up to 16mm in diameter and 100mm in height and a reagent carousel that holds 16 reagents and two diluents. Its dilution station prepares sample cell suspensions. System has three cameras for sample, reagent and card identification and image analysis. Also has a 24-position capacity card block with the option of 16 at 25°C and eight at 37°C or all at one temperature. A robotic handler probe pierces foil and performs sample dilutions and the gripper transports cards. Includes a 12-position centrifuge and a 12-position service rack for cards that need review.
