How to configure the device to automatically reboot if it fails to ping a gateway?

To configure the device to automatically reboot if it fails to ping a gateway, use the Gateway Connection Monitor feature:

  1. Enable Gateway Connection Monitor via Settings, Schedule, Gateway Connection Monitor.
  2. Set the parameters:
    • Status: Enable.
    • Gateway IP Address: Set this to the IP address to ping.
    • Delay Between Timeouts: Set the interval in seconds to wait before retrying a ping after a timeout. (Default: 30 seconds)
    • Timeout Attempts Before Reboot: Set the number of failed ping attempts before triggering a reboot. (Default: 10)
    • Ping Delay After Auto Reboot: Set the delay in minutes before the device pings again after a reboot. (Default: 15 minutes)
    • Reboot Attempts: Set the number of reboot attempts before the device stops auto-rebooting. (Default: 5)
  3. Save and Apply: Click Save, then Apply Changes to enable the settings.

Note: Pinging external addresses can be affected by internet stability, potentially causing false positives.
