Using the GPS Unit
The following functions are available when the GPS Unit O-GPS1 is
attached to the this camera.
Electronic
Compass
Displays the latitude, longitude, altitude of the current location, and lens direction in standby mode.

GPS Time Sync
Automatically adjusts the camera’s date and time settings using information acquired from GPS satellites.
• Refer to the manual of the GPS unit for details on how to attach the unit and information on the unit’s functions.
• To display the electronic compass, press the M button twice and select
[Electronic Compass] in the screen to select the type of information displayed. The setting returns to [Standard Information Display] when the shutter release button is pressed halfway. Press the M button and
reselect the setting to display it again. (p.22)
Simple Navigation and ASTROTRACER cannot be used with the O.

Description
The SD Memory Card is full and no more images can be saved. Insert a new SD Memory Card or
delete unwanted files. (p.47, p.168)
You may be able to save more images if you
change the image capture settings. (p.128)
There are no images that can be played back on the SD Memory Card.
You are trying to play back an image in a format not supported by this camera. You may be able to play it back on another brand of camera or a computer.
There is no SD Memory Card inserted in the
camera. (p.47)
There is a problem with the SD Memory Card and image capture and playback are not possible.
It may be viewable on a computer but not with this camera.
The SD Memory Card you have inserted is unformatted or has been formatted on another device and is not compatible with this camera.
Use the card after formatting it with this camera.

The write-protect switch on an SD Memory Card you have inserted is locked. Unlock the SD
Memory Card.
You are trying to magnify an image that cannot be magnified.
You are trying to delete an image that is protected. Remove protection from the image.
