Good quality vs. poor quality: the better the thread, the better the results and the easier the process

Fiber content: different types (polyester, nylon, rayon, cotton, metallic, acrylic, etc.) produce different results

Thread weight: the thicker the thread, the denser the stitching – embroidery designs are generally digitized for use with 40

weight embroidery threads such as Isacord or Polysheen
