WR-120 Owner’s Manual

One Year Limited Warranty:

MIDLAND Radio Corporation will repair or replace, at its option without charge, your WR-120 All Hazards Alert Weather Radio which fails due to a defect in material or workmanship within ONE YEAR following the initial consumer purchase. This warranty does not include any antennas, which may be a part of (or included with) the product under warranty, or the cost of labor for removal or re-installation of the product in a vehicle or other mounting. Performance of any obligation under this warranty may be obtained by returning the product under warranty, freight prepaid, along with a copy of the original sales receipt to Midland Radio Corporation at the address provided below.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.

NOTE: The above warranty applies only to merchandise purchased in

the United States of America or any of the territories or possessions thereof, or from a U.S. Military exchange. For warranty coverage on merchandise purchased elsewhere ask your dealer.

Service:

If your Midland Weather Radio fails to operate properly, check the

“Troubleshooting” section in this manual before returning it for service. If necessary, return as follows:

1. Pack the unit in its original box and packing. Then pack the original box in a suitable shipping carton. Caution: Improper packing may result in damage during shipment.

2. Include the following: a. Full description of any problems b. Daytime telephone number, name & address

3. For warranty service include a photocopy of the bill of sale from an authorized dealer or other proof of purchase showing the date of sale.

4. You do not need to return accessory items (AC/DC Adapter, Batteries,

Owner’s Guide) unless they might be directly related to the problem.

5. A flat rate of $25.00 will apply to repairs not covered by warranty or units that are over one year old. Send only cashier’s check, money order or

Master Card or Visa card number.

Instructions pour un démarrage rapide:

1. Placez dans la position ON le bouton ON/OFF situé sur le côté droit de l’appareil radio, dans la position

2. Tirer l’antenne et l’allonger de toute sa longueur.

3. Introduire 3 piles de format AA (non fournies).

4. Branchez l’adaptateur AC dans la prise d’alimentation POWER située au dos de la radio et branchez l’autre extrémité dans une prise électrique standard.

5. Suivez les messages-guide sur l’écran d’affichage en utilisant les boutons ▲ et ▼ pour faire défiler les options et appuyez sur le bouton SELECT afin de choisir l’option souhaitée

• La radio affichera d’abord le message de bienvenue WELCOME, puis le message du choix de la langue SET LANGUAGE

• Pour choisir la langue, sélectionnez le message SET LANGUAGE appuyez sur le bouton

SELECT :

- Choisissez votre langue en appuyant sur le bouton ▲ ou ▼, puis appuyez sur le bouton SELECT.

• Pour choisir un emplacement, sélectionnez l’option SET LOCATION appuyez sur le bouton SELECT:

- Appuyez sur le bouton ▲ ou ▼ jusqu’à ce que le message SINGLE soit affiché, puis appuyez sur le bouton SELECT.

• Pour le choix du pays SET COUNTRY appuyez le bouton SELECT afin de programmer le conté sur la position 01

- Appuyez sur ▲ ou ▼ pour choisir votre pays puis appuyez sur le bouton SELECT.

- Appuyez sur ▲ ou ▼ pour choisir votre état, votre province puis appuyez sur le bouton SELECT.

- Appuyez sur ▲ ou ▼ pour choisir votre conté ou votre région puis appuyez sur le bouton SELECT.

• Pour choisir l’heure, sélectionnez SET TIME appuyez sur le bouton SELECT :

- Régler l’heure en utilisant ► ▲ ▼ et ◄ puis appuyer sur le bouton SELECT.

• Pour sélectionner le canal, choisissez l’option SET CHANNEL appuyez sur le bouton

SELECT:

- Syntoniser le canal afin d’obtenir l’émission souhaitée en utilisant les touches ▲ ou ▼

• Pour sélectionner le volume à partir du message SET VOLUME appuyez sur les boutons

VOLUME UP, volume vers le haut ou VOLUME DOWN, volume vers le bas.

6. Pour terminer le paramétrage, appuyez sur le bouton SELECT.
