Simrad SU90 SW 2.1.10
Introduction
This document describes the
software and other changes introduced
with the following new software
versions:
• SU90 SW 2.1.10
This software controls all
functionality in the Simrad SU90
sonar. This includes transmission and
reception, beamforming, interfaces
with external peripherals and
sensors, and all user interface (sonar
presentations and menus).
Software changes
This software update solves a
number of software bugs that have
been reported by our users, or detected
during out own product testing. The
following new functionality is added:
• Added range 4.000 m
• Added range 4.500 m
• Added range 10.000 m
Documentation changes
No changes have been made to the
end user documentation.
The reference manual is provided
as context sensitive online help on
the product. It is also available as a
separate website for online access
to the information. Note that all
documents can be downloaded from
the product website:
www.simrad.com/su90
Do I need to upgrade?
This is an important software
update, and we recommend that you
upgrade your sonar system.
As a general rule, we always
recommend that the latest software
version is used on our products.
How to do the update
End users are not permitted to do
this software update. Contact your
local dealer for help.
