GET TO KNOW THE BEST CONNECTION
CONNECTING WITH TWC HOME WIFI
With TWC Home WiFi, the whole family can be online at
the same time, from almost anywhere in your home.
SELECT A LOCATION
For optimal performance on your WiFi devices, place your Wireless
Gateway (modem & wireless router) in a central and open location. For
activities that require the fastest speeds like gaming and streaming, a
wired Internet connection is most reliable.

QUICK TIPS
• Limiting your home to one wireless network will reduce interference
and connection issues on your devices.
• If you’re using our latest dual band Wireless Gateway and new devices,
turning off the 2.4 GHz channel and 802.11b broadcast may improve
your device’s WiFi speed.
• Rebooting your Wireless Gateway on occasion (unplug, wait, plug in)
will prompt your equipment to rescan your network, and update with
the best channel to broadcast as needed.
• TWC Home WiFi speeds may be limited by your devices, signal
interference, dwelling obstructions and other dynamics.
