Do not mix old and new batteries. Replace all batteries at the same time.

DO NOT operate if the wine opener is not working properly or if it has been damaged in any manner.

Use and Care

Carefully read all instructions before use and keep for future reference.

Loading the Batteries in Your Wolfgang Puck Electric Wine Opener

Requires 4 AA batteries (batteries included).

Step 1:

Your Wolfgang Puck Wine Opener features a close/open logo for easy reference.

To unlock, hold the wine opener body (B) and turn battery cover (A) counter clockwise until the arrow is positioned over the open setting. Figure 2.

Step 2:

Remove the battery cover from the wine opener.

Step 3:

Holding the wine opener with the close/open logo facing towards you, press the center tap on the battery compartment up and back. The cover will flip open.

Step 4:

The battery charges are clearly marked on the interior of the battery compartment cover. Insert the included batteries into the slots, correctly matching the charge signs on the batteries to those indicated on the unit. Figure 4.

Step 5:

Close the battery compartment cover. You should hear a click indicating it is locked.

Step 6:

Align the arrow on the battery cover (A) with the open setting on the wine opener body (B). Turn the cover clockwise to the locked position.

Using Your Wolfgang Puck Foil Cutter

To remove the foil cap from the wine bottle, place the foil cutter (C) on top of the wine bottle. Press the two sides of the foil cutter firmly against the foil cap and turn to each side. Once the foil has been cut, carefully remove from the wine bottle. See Figure 5.

The foil cutter conveniently doubles as a base for the wine opener when not in use.

Using Your Wolfgang Puck Electric Opener

Step 1:

Remove the foil cap with the included foil cutter. If your wine bottle is also sealed with wax, remove completely.

Step 2:

Remove the wine opener from the foil cutter/base (C) and position over the neck of the wine bottle, making sure the opener remains in the upright position at all times. If the wine opener is held at an angle it will not remove the cork properly.

Step 3:

Hold the wine opener firmly and press the down button (D). The corkscrew spiral will turn in a clockwise direction and enter the cork, then it will gradually remove it from the bottle. The wine opener mechanism will stop when the cork has been fully removed. See Figure 6.

Step 4:

Lift the wine opener up and away from the bottle. See Figure 7.

Step 5:

To remove the cork from the wine opener, press the up button (E). The corkscrew spiral will turn in a counter-clockwise direction releasing the cork. See Figure 8.

NEVER manually remove the cork from the wine opener.

Step 6:

Return the wine opener to the foil cutter/base when not in use.

Cleaning

To clean your Wolfgang Puck Electric Wine Opener, wipe with a damp cloth or sponge.

DO NOT submerge the wine opener in water or use abrasive cleaners.
