AN ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY MANNER. TO TAKE OUT THE BATTERIES, REMOVE

THE 3 SCREWS FROM THE REAR COVER. CAREFULLY EASE THE 2 COVERS APART, AS

THE SPRINGS INSIDE THE PRODUCT WILL MOVE ONCE THE COVERS ARE PARTED.

UNPLUG THE LEADS FROM THE BATTERIES AND REMOVE THEM FROM THE UNIT.

A.

Plug one end of the adapter cord into the recharging base and the other end into the electrical outlet.

B.

Place the charging stand on a flat, level surface.

C.

Carefully place the electric wine bottle opener onto the recharging base.

D.

When the adapter is inserted into the electrical outlet, the charging LED on the recharging base will illuminate. The LED is illuminated whenever your device is correctly placed on the recharging base.

USE AND SAFE OPERATION, WE RECOMMEND THAT YOU READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS

CAREFULLY AND RETAIN THEM FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.

A.

Place the electric wine bottle opener on top of the wine bottle, making sure that it remains as upright as possible at all times. If the electric wine bottle opener is held at an angle to the bottle, it will not remove the cork properly.

Never force the corkscrew over wide topped bottles. Use your other hand to hold the bottle firmly ( See Figure A ).

B.

Hold the electric wine bottle opener firmly and depress the DOWN (bottom) button ( See Figure B ). The corkscrew spiral will turn in a counterclockwise direction and pierce the cork. Keep the button depressed until the motor of the corkscrew comes to a stop. When the electric wine bottle opener stops, the cork has been fully removed from the bottle. Release the button.

C.

Carefully lift the electric wine bottle opener up and away from the bottle.

To remove the cork from the corkscrew, depress the UP (top) button. The corkscrew spiral will turn in a clockwise direction to eject the cork ( See

Figure C ).

D.

Always return the electric wine bottle opener to the recharging base when finished or not in use. This will protect the mechanism while it is not in use, and ensure that it is fully charged and available for its next use.

FIGURE A

SYNTHETIC CORKS:

FIGURE B FIGURE C

A.

This product is designed for use on traditional corks and wine bottles.

Synthetic corks are smaller and do not expand when removed. Bottle opening and cork extraction can be performed as normal on synthetic corks; however, their size may result in them not being properly ejected as listed above. In this instance, simply hold the cork firmly with a suitable tool (e.g. pliers) and depress the UP (top) button on the electric wine bottle opener, as you normally would. The cork will then unscrew and be released. This will not affect the ongoing use or performance of your unit.
